History on Li: Life is normally good when you are on a Gym Challenge, this was the case for Marnie herself as she had done so to help her hometown get out of being an obscure slum and make it known that not all Gyms were capable of Dynamaxing as was the case with the Spikemuth Gym, even if she lost at Wyndom and ended up replacing her big brother as Gym Leader afterwards, Marnie kept a respectable air of confidence in her ability to use her Pokémon and treat them as friends instead of as tools to be used.
As for how she came to Planet Li; it was when she was doing her training as a Gym Leader, she would end up in Sunshine Stadium thankfully and decided to explore her surroundings, all while her Gym Trainers decided to help out by finding an unused apartment complex that they promptly made into their new place of residence, as for Marnie herself, she wanted to stay out of trouble so she would prefer to stick around the Life Sphere, only going on missions to Pokémon Cove when Applicable.
And as her duties as a Gym Leader entail her to be ready for battles, she is willing to do her civic duty and battle against other Trainers who decide to get her badge.
{Note: Marnie has a moveset for herself, but for the most part, the Pokémon will take precedent over her, she does however train herself in Martial Arts when the mood strikes her.}

Gigantimax
Gigantimax
Marnie allows Her Grimmsnarl to grow to a truly gargantuan height befitting a Kaiju. For three turns, Grimmsnarl is under the effect of Mega, increasing STR by 4 and lowering DEX by 2, an interesting note to partake in is that all Gigantimax Pokémon have a signature G Max Move, which replaces the original move and for Grimmsnarl, it is G Max Snooze in place of Darkest Lariat. Once all three turns are up, Grimmsnarl will return to normal and the Final Smash is expended.

Other Info:
- Marnie, alongside Piers, are the only Gym Leaders who specializes in the Dark-Type, though Nanu did it first, Alola does not contain official Gyms and Kahunas don't technically count as official Gym Leaders.
- Piers is the one who caught Morpeko and gave it to Marnie, Marnie has to put up with Morpeko's constant mood swings when food is a concern.
- Despite being the Spikemuth Gym Leader, she does not use that specific class of 'Leader' or 'Gym Leader'.
- Is not much of a smiler...
-Do not let it's coloration that matches the Kantonian Moltres fool you, that Galarian Moltres is indeed a Shiny Galarian variant, it is still treated as Dark/Flying type and it benefits from Dark Aura!
- The Urshifu, Galarian Moltres, and Mawile are not used in Gym Battles, her team throughout Galar(Both Gym and League battles) is the first two(Grimmsnarl and Morpeko), Liepard, Toxicroak, and Scrafty.
