Seems they had the upper hand for now but the Lingering Will would not give in so easily. He started this fight so he was going to finish it. First of the attackers was the girl known as Xion, he didn't know much about her but she was very strong it seemed. So strong that he would find it harder to dodge her next attack as he would try to avoid her Stop spell.

INT Roll for Stop Spell:

Thanks to its Keyblade Armor the chance of Xion stopping his movement was severely lessened. Stun is naturally reduced by 25% in chance thanks to its +5 CON modifier and by 50% thanks to its Keyblade Armor making it a 25% chance to Stun him.

Status Chance Roll: If 25 or lower the Lingering Will is stunned.

The Lingering Will just powered through the Stop Spell without any sort of effect to it.

The Lingering Will began moving to dodge Xion's remaining attacks next.

DEX Rolls for Dodges:

p_1d20+6 Sonic Blade misses the first time.

However not the second time as they hit with an insane amount of accuracy. But the Keyblade Armor was still in effect. Right now though time to see if it Crit.

p_1d15+5 Reduced the blow by 10% making it only hit for 10% damage. 

Next was the last attack from Xion with another Sonic Blade attack. 

p_1d20+6 Xion misses the mark once again. 

It seems that was it from Xion but there remained the three other fighters that have yet to do their attacks. First attack was from Kairi now.

Keyblade Armor Roll: 

p_1d15+5 Reduced the blow by 5% making it hit for 10%.

p_1d20+6 The next attack misses however. 

p_1d20+6 However the Flower Shoot definitely hit.

p_1d15+5 Reduced the damage by 9% making this hit for 24%. That was a big hit. 

Last was Peach now who was easily the biggest threat here and it looked like The Lingering Will would be unable to dodge her fast attacks. So it pulled up its Bubble Shield instead. 

Bubble Shield Used: 56 - 40 - 10 = 6% left. 

This next one it couldn't dodge either but it needed its Bubble Shield for later. 

So instead of trying to dodge in vain it would just stand there ready to take the hit. 

The Frying Pan hit hard but the Keyblade Armor would reduce the damage. 

Keyblade Armor Roll: 

p_1d15+5 Which didn't help as much as it was supposed to. The damage was reduced by 6% meaning 32% of the attack went right through its defenses. 

This time however with the other two attacks it would try to dodge them. 

p_1d20+6 The first Lovesplosion missed completely. 

p_1d20+6 The second one hit dead on however. 

Keyblade Armor Roll: 

p_1d15+5 Reduced the damage by 12% making the attack 18% damage. 

All the attacks seemed to have gone through now. It was time for the counterattack!

First it would command the Bits to attack three separate targets. One beam toward Xion, Another Toward Peach and the last one toward Kairi.

Next The Lingering Will would focus the rest of its attention on Peach who had done the most damage out of all of them. 

Keyblade formchanged over to his Ultima Cannon and aimed it right at Peach:

Taking the fight over to the rest of them now The Lingering Will would charge in and use its Whip Attack once more.

Looking right at Xion this time it would use a Rush Attack on her alone.

After taking the initiative to take down the one he left alone, It would turn back and look at the rest of them. This was a losing battle but it would not give in yet. 

At Namine's Failure to resist the seal the Small HP Bar appeared above his head once more. This will not factor in his Keyblade Armor however it will prevent him from taking up to 40% damage and once that bar is gone then Namine's Seal will be gone.

If there was something Xion was not a fan of, was being juggled in between attacks. Between getting whipped and subsequently rushed by the Lingering Will, she was sent to the ground. Bruised and frustrated, she figured it was time for a change of plans.

"Okay, that does it...!" Xion stated to herself as she was enveloped in a bright light...and emerged from the smoke with a completely different outfit, gauntlets and boots!

"Let's go." Cracking her knuckles, she shifted her stance into one of a brawler's as she flashed blue for a second, and moved towards Lingering Will, suddenly rushing him with an axe kick and two punches to the armored man's face. ...or rather, helmet.

"Take THIS!" she said, slamming her fist on the Lingering Will's would-be chin with great ferocity, a chill coursing through his body that was akin to a powerful blizzard that could very likely freeze him solid as she pushed both of them into the air with her uppercut!

She was starting to lose her strength boost and then she will start to drag until she catches her breath back. In the meantime she can keep fighting. She moved through the bits as they shot at her but ended up getting nailed by the whip storm from the Keyblade. Her body shimmered as the whip struck through her, lessening the pain and damage to her body but it still stung. "Go!" Kairi declared with a wince as she fired a ball of light at the Lingering Will before sighing.

They need to step it up a bit with how fast and hard this keyblade master is. It made a lot of sense Terra was one of Aqua's peers even if he wasn't a master. Being able to hold all four of them and barely sweating. Kairi felt through her coat for a moment before feeling something... Oh right, these! Maybe if they combine their forces... Kairi looked between everyone for a moment. Peach might be the most compatible skill wise... Namine... she didn't want to force her to fight... And Xion... "... Model M!" Kairi came to a conclusion. If they combine their physical styles just how strong could they get? Could she even fuse while Megamerged? Well... only way to find out.

"Megamerge! Model M!" Kairi declared, jumping up as a small biometal came out and hit her to cause a blue shimmer and power up her body with blue fighting armor as she landed before taking out the DNA Splicers. "Alright, Xion! Together as Kairion nothing can stop us! You ready to show him what we can do when our hearts are one~?" Kairi requested as she held out the splicers towards her friend, an energy seeking to pull together and combine their strength.

Peach deftly pirouetted out of the way of the bits attack, only to get caught in the Ultimate Cannon's blast, desperately trying and failing to protect herself using Perry. Several cries of pain escaped her as she was briefly enveloped by the blast, which left her collapsed on her behind cradling Perry in her lap. A sigh of relief escaped her. She wasn't confident in her ability to take another turn of abuse like that. It was times like this that she really would prefer to leave the fighting to the boys... She was certain Mario could've dodged that...

Her hurting spirit was cured, at least partially, however, by the sight of what Kairi and Xion were up to.

...The sight of Kairi and Xion's fusion and Kairi's words moved Peach. It felt like she was watching the thesis of her heart's convictions be put on display and tested, and it was enough to motivate Peach to put her game face back on and stand back up strong. “...We may not be as big as you, but the strongest power in the universe can be found in the hearts of young ladies like us. And that power is unleashed when multiple hearts resonate with one another.” Peach said, orating an inspiring speech for her sisters.

She then marched forward with a lead foot and took point in front of Kairi/Xion, turning to face them and offering them a bright smile in spite of how roughed up she looked. Pointedly, she was alone there. Peach then shifted to delicately take their hands in hers, holding them. “...Mushrooms bless you both; you have both surpassed me by becoming an avatar of love. I only wish that I could join you both~ *Sniffle* ...Please accept this gift from my heart, to both of you.” Peach softly gushed. You could kind of tell she was holding back tears from getting too emotional. That or the injuries. It wasn't 100% clear, but probably that first bit. She then leaned in and sweetly kissed the fusion, passing onto them the inspiration she felt from observing them.

...Peach then released them and stepped aside, turning about to face their opponent and holding Perry to her other side in a ready position. “...Let's go~” she murmured, before forcing herself to charge headfirst at Lingering Will with every bit of energy she had left. She knew that even if she withstood another round, her strength would rapidly begin leaving her and she'd be far worse off. So it was time to make this round count. With reckless abandon, she leapt into battle and took two mighty swings packed with explosive magical energy at Lingering Will!

Namine scooted back, managing to get out of the way of that whip attack. However...

...Namine observed what the rest of her team was doing, a throbbing emotional pain coursing through her body as she found herself unable to contribute or help. If she had been able to help, would anyone have noticed the difference? Even her opponent was acting like she didn't exist. She felt like ... a nobody.

Namine quietly disassociates in despair. Sorry girls, she's not really feeling up to fighting right now.

The fight seemed to be taking a turn in its favor now as its attacks landed more than it initially thought. The girl known as Xion was definitely taking a beating as well but that was until she decided to step it up a bit and unleash a flurry of attacks against it. The Lingering Will saw the ferocity in her eyes as she tried to hit it with this combination attack in which it would try to dodge out of the way.

And another hit for 10% damage toward the Lingering Will. Luckily for Xion she had just the right amount of damage that bypasses his Keyblade Armor's special ability. Not too much nor too less than 10% damage, meeting right in the middle for the full damage on each hit. 

At the Blizzard Fist attack hitting it by surprise, the Lingering Will did a backflip after being uppercut in the area where its jaw would be. For anyone that wasn't an empty suit of armor that would hurt a lot more than it should. However the damage was enough to knock its Small HP Bar down to zero making any more damage translate to the its actual self. Namine is free from the Seal!

The Blizzard Fist ability was not a Crit and would not even have a chance of freezing The Lingering Will due to its Keyblade Armor reducing the 20% chance to 0%. Still it did take the left over damage partially. But then the Keyblade Armor came into effect again.

Next was Kairi who would fire off a ball of light at The Lingering Will, it would move to try to dodge that attack as well. Its Small HP Bar prevented it from taking a big hit earlier but that also meant its actual health was on the line here, its Keyblade Armor the only thing really keeping it alive.

Shaking off the attack a little bit The Lingering Will was poised to attack but suddenly and unbelievably Kairi and Xion merged together into a single being. If it had eyes they would be staring right at the new combined form of the two girls now united as one. On top of that Peach who had taken the brunt of his Ultima Cannon kissed her on the cheek for what may have been a simple gesture of good luck but also might be for some other reason. Taking notice that the wounds the new girl had from the combined injuries of the two had healed for the most part. If it could grin it would, but it was just calm and emotionless as ever.

"Impressive. You show a lot of promise young Keyblade wielders. To fuse together is unheard of but I can see your resolve in the face of danger, now then show me the strength of your hearts as one." The Lingering Will's voice echoed throughout the area. Indeed it was truly impressed by their efforts, it didn't plan to lose here though. It glanced over to Namine then who was just as helpless and unable to defend herself from anything. If the Lingering Will were evil it would just attack her then and there, but this was Terra's spirit and he wouldn't dare to attack someone who couldn't fight, right now The Lingering Will had its attention on Kairion who was poised to attack it next.

"I suggest your friend in the white stay out of this, I won't attack her if she does not attack me." The Lingering Will offered to the newly formed Kairion. It did not care if she did attack it really but that suggestion might be enough to either rile them up or give them even more resolve to continue this fight. Either way The Lingering Will would keep its word and not attack Namine, even if for some reason she did attack it.

The Bits had vanished but that was no matter, it had both of its Sealing Techniques back. 

Peach didn't seem much of a threat now compared to Kairion however her coming over to attack it was certainly a surprise as well. It would aim to dodge these attacks if it could. 

However the first attack was so fast that it automatically hit The Lingering Will before it could even react.

However it would try to react to the next attack to dodge it.

Dodging Peach's last attack it would move just to the side of her attack to prevent the attack from hitting it. 

Now it was its turn. Quite a spectacle indeed but it wasn't over yet. 

Forming its Keyblade into a bow once more it would aim to hit Peach with light arrows. If even a single one hit she would have to make a WIS save to prevent her abilities from being locked away. 

Command Change Attack Arrows: Does 15% damage on hit and inflicts Command Change Seal. On an Even number on a WIS save after being hit with one of these they will Release the seal but if they get a Odd number they take 10% damage per failed attempt.

Re-focusing its attacks now onto Kairion it would not waste its other Sealing ability in the same turn, no instead it would go for a different sort of attack this time as it formed its keyblade into a the Wave Rider and would mount it before going into attack Kairion by colliding with her using the Wave Rider.

After likely missing the second time The Lingering Will would jump off of the Wave Rider before it formed back into its keyblade again as it caught it in its hand. It was ready now to see what Kairion was able to do.

Kairi and Xion clashed with each other and their bodies merged into one. Kairion took a moment to adjust to their old body again as she did a few bouncy steps to pump herself up. She was much taller than either was seperately and their hair colors were still combined into a muck longer style, mixes of both their colorations flowing through though in a long braid like Xion's was previously styled. The main difference this time was their attire. The main dress of Xion's battle form was still black but the floral pattern this time was pink. The golden trim had a saphire blue to it as well with light armoring to it. The gauntlets were slightly heavier and pink and black as opposed to the previous light and dark motif. "It feels good to be back again~!" Kairion declares as Xion could feel Kairi's excitement as well as the lingering feelings of determination and concern.

The duo looked over to Peach as she began her speech... "Oh yeah, didn't notice how hurt she was... Sounds like we inspired the Princess though, isn't that nice Xion?" Kairi remarked with a sense of pride and agreement at Peach's speech. That power also flowed through them... Friends are one's power as one boy once said. However that was not the end as Peach gave them... a fairly flustering compliment. Kairi's emotions alone might elicit a blush from the two... And that's before her gift that healed their combined wounds considerably. They almost felt as good as new! "Th-thanks, those words mean a lot. We'll try to live up to them," they remark before focusing back on Terra.

Then he gave a remark towards Namine about how... less useful she was and how she shouldn't get involved. Kairi alone was sparked by that comment. Namine may be the least experience of all her friends including herself but that doesn't give him the right. "Let's give him one for Namine too," Kairi thought to the other. "She won't have to. Nor will you get the chance. Hope you enjoy this because it's time your will went back to rest!" Kairion declared before not even bothering to dodge the attacks by Lingering Will, taking them both head on as it almost seemed to phase right through her without much pain while she endured the force of his attack with a smirk.

"It's our turn now! This is all our hearts combined!" Kairion declared as her Keyblade Gauntlets formed two gears. "Power and Speed Gear, let's go! Double Gear Boost!" A blue and red aura surged and mixed around her body as the gears turned rapidly to massively increase her power and speed. She then dashed forward, using gears on the back of her boots to propel herself before  giving a small hop and doing a horizontal roundhouse kick followed by a diagonal flip kick up.

Peach's transformation sequence ended and all her magical power left her, leaving her feeling exhausted. She now stood on lead feet that fought every attempt to move them, and her eyes glazed over with a lack of focus. Oh, this wasn't good. He was still standing... She'd just have to hope her aid would help the other girls deal with him in her place. She was going to struggle to stay standing on each followup turn, she suspected. Regardless, she had to do her best not to show weakness, no matter how much she felt weakness. What she wouldn't give to be scooped off her feat and taken away, though...

With a heavy jump and a pirouette in the air that seemed to defy gravity, she managed to dodge two of the attack arrows before blocking a third with Perry. As Kairi approached her with the DNA Splicer, Xion nodded with resolution. "Yeah! I'm with you, Kairi!" she said with a sweet smile before their bodies clashed and they fused once again. <Wow...I haven't felt this rush of power in a while!> Xion thought in excitement, which Kairi could absolutely hear with them now sharing a body and all.

"...Your Majesty?" The Xion part of Kairion spoke out loud as the...quite injured princess spoke out her impassioned speech. She...couldn't help but get a bit emotional and inspired by it herself. <That speech has got me pumped! Let's give it our all, Kairi!> Xion thought, Kairi being able to sense how greatly inspired by it the other was.

Of course, that wasn't the end of it, as Peach approached them and gave a little compliment of her own, which...well, now that Kairi was blushing, I guess the Xion part of the reaction manifested with how the fusion was rapidly rubbing the back of their head sheepishly as they were complimented, only stopped as they were smooched. You can safely assume inner Xion was red as a tomato. "U-um...--" Xion began only to cut herself off and allow Kairi to speak on their behalf.

She only snaps out of it as the Lingering Will talks to them again, and though she did feel a little flustered at the compliments, the reaction turned sour as he basically told Namine to step aside and do nothing. That praise now felt incredibly backhanded. <...Yeah, let's do it.> Xion thought, now quite miffed and itching to get some hits in.

That being said, she did help Kairi along with her own attacks before she moved to do her own. Their combined hearts, inspired by Peach's sweet words and fueled by their combined desire to avenge Namine in a sense, were incredibly powerful. <W-whoa...so much power...!> Xion felt amazed yet a bit scared at such a rush of energy coursing through them at that moment.

As Kairi finished her barrage, Xion thought to her fused girlfriend. <Alright, lemme put the pressure him a bit further!> she thought to the other, before landing on the ground with a flourish. "Hey, Mr. Will! Don't think we're finished with you yet!" Kairion proclaimed as her voice became distinctly more Xion-like again, taking in a deep breath... and suddenly slamming one of her feet in the ground as a purple aura suddenly swirled around her for a moment, before being overtaken by a white aura flaming on her fists.

(Kairion has shifted to the Ultimate Style stance! She gains +2 to STR, DEX and CON for 3 turns.)

(Kairion has also activated Surge of Power. She deals +5 damage and takes -5 damage for 3 turns.)

After this surge of power, with blinding speed, the fused girls would advance towards the armored figure, as one of her fists suddenly changed position...before Kairion tried to slam the Lingering Will with another uppercut, though this one had noticeably less blizzard magic on it.

Taking advantage of their position, the fusion would follow up their assault by pushing their limits a bit and performing a powerful palm strike with their other hand towards the Lingering Will's gut, crushing through the armored man's defenses!

Pushing themselves just a bit more, with a powerful yell, Kairion would leap towards Lingering Will...and slam them in the face with one final punch, landing on the ground with...some finesse. She was almost sure they were gonna fall, but hey, that worked.

"This was for dismissing Namine!" Kairion spoke towards the Lingering Will in between some bated breaths. Inside though, Kairi could tell Xion was hoping they got the better of the man in armor for good after that assault.

The fight was indeed ramping up now that Kairion hit the field. Not even able to keep up with their moves now The Lingering Will was hit with roundhouse kick right then and there for some big damage.

However there was still its Keyblade Armor that would help it reduce the damage.

Taking the damage severely hurt the Lingering Will but it made it go into its Rage Awakened mode. Thus increasing its damage dealt and Keyblade Armor protection. 

As the roundhouse kick left its mark The Lingering Will broke out of its temporary stupor and began to glow with a red aura surrounding it. 

Rage Awakened has been activated! 

It would try to dodge the next attack which was a uppercut punch that would launch it even higher into the air.

Even with its improved protection that last punch was enough to do it. Knocking the Lingering Will's helmet right off the body of the armor before it fell down onto the ground very hard. "Well done. You have bested me, your hearts are strong and full of courage. I commend you for a job well done." The Lingering Will's voice would echo throughout the area despite its body being thoroughly wrecked. With that The Lingering Will's voice vanished and so did its keyblade after the armor feel apart. 

Kairion, Peach and Namine (sort of) have become victorious and beat the Technical Boss known as The Lingering Will!
