Kamek's head feels like it is pounding. The last thing he remembered was Kammy talking about... something... It had something to do with scrying and Star pieces. Always something to do with Stars with that crazy koopa. The glare he gives his colleague is hotter than a dry dry desert. "Now what have you gotten us into?"

"Me?!" Kammy snaps back as she runs her claws over the broken fragments of her precious broomstick. "This is all your fault! You and your stupid scrying! You must had gotten the coordinates wrong!"

"What kind of Magikoopa can't teleport?" he asks, voice surprisingly flat.

Her response is shrill and quick. "What kind of Magikoopa causes another to crash?!"

Kamek looks around them. He doesn't recognize this forest. Flora does not match any island or kingdom he is familiar with, at any rate. "And what makes you think I made us crash?"

"Because my skills at flight are almost as incredible as my beauty~!"

"So, none." Kamek ducks under a branch just in time for Kammy's attack to sail over his hat. "Just like your skills with aiming a wand. No wonder the king replaced you after Rougeport."

"And he'll make me head magikoopa again after I come to him with.. well, I won't be giving you all the details. You'd just claim credit." Kammy huffs as she pockets her wand again.

"You are doing that thing where you project, my dear. Our king does understand that anything to do with powered Stars can only come from your addled mind. My plans are much more refined."

"Much more mulch, more like. How's that oversized pirahna plant of yours again? Oh, right, it's probably dead by now. Nyeah heh ha ha!"

Kamek's deathly stare is back and practically burning holes in Kammy's hat. "You look to the stars too much. You forget the power found in the world around you, and more importantly the things that can actually help King Bowser in his plans."

A strange rustling in the trees makes the pair freeze. The argument must had drawn something's attention... The magikoopas are both quick to draw their magic scepters and aim...

A few minutes later, the pair are on the one working broomstick and flying away from the horde of strange blackened monsters.

"Where did you toss us? The pits of Jaydes's realm?!"

"How should I know where we are! None of the plants are right and all those things are too Shadow-like without actually being a Siren!"

"Just aim the broom! I'll take care of our tail."

"YOU?! You can't hit the broad side of a barn! You take the broom. I'll keep us safe."

Magikoopas fly into the scene.
Kamek and Kammy Koopa have joined the brawl.
