Backstory: Kamek and Kammy Koopa
History On Li:
Kamek and Kammy were doing research on Stars (Kammy) and scrying (Kamek) to figure out how to help fix the whole Li situation or at least the shadow curse. Not for the world as a whole but just for the Koopa Kingdom's own benefit. The pair have woken up in a random forest with fuzzy memories of the past few months. With no idea where they are or how far Koopa Castle is, they can't just fly back or teleport. Worse, Kammy's (objectively better) broomstick is broken and Kamek's is barely working. ("I told you my broom is better. The human has good taste." "Just because it can fly longer does not mean its pilot is any better.")
Given their age, Kammy's memories of the past ten years are hazy while Kamek's notes on things have been left behind at the castle. Generally speaking they know what they're doing and why. The pair are just missing a few details like what's going on in other fused lands and what all the strange new plants and dangers are in this bizarre world. Their responses to the change differ. Kamek is fascinated and wants to find out more of what the new plants can be used for. Kammy is only interested in objects like the Chaos Emeralds or the Triforce.

Together:
Growth Magic: One of the Magikoopas inflicts the other with Mega status. Only usable when both are active. Lasts for up to three turns. 3 turn cooldown.("Don't think that this means I like you." "Likewise.")
Broom Crash: Kamek or Kammy yanks on the broomstick. Randomly moves along the intended path when both are in play, if only one is in play then they are able to fly in a direct path. [Heavy Dexterity DMG 20%] 1 turn cooldown.

Summoning Spell: The pair of Magikoopas create an illusionary but temporary ally. The summoner rolls a 1d20 for the result from the following list. The ally lingers for a single turn. 3 turns cooldown.

1-2 | Chain Chomp | A 7 foot diameter Chain Chomp is tossed into the field. It barks and stomps around a 30 foot path, dealing light Strength DMG 5% to anyone (including Magikoopa) it makes physical contact with. |
3-4 | Shy Guy | A Shy Guy with a spear appears. If an enemy is within 6 feet, the spear is thrust at them for Light Dexterity 9% DMG. If not, the spear is thrown across 15 feet for Light Dexterity 6% DMG. |
5-6 | Koopa | A Koopa Troopa appears and slaps the enemy with its claws three times for a total of light Strength DMG 6%. |
7-8 | Slipper | A slipper lays on the ground. If an enemy character goes within 5 feet of it, the item flies up into the air and swats at the closest enemy character's head like a cartoon bat or haunted book. Light Dexterity DMG 7%. |
9-10 | Thwomp | After 5 seconds, a Thwomp drops down over where an item would have fallen. Heavy DMG 20%. |
11-12 | Goomba | A Goomba appears and walks in a straight path until it either hits an enemy or disappears. Light Strength DMG 3%. |
13-14 | Crystal Ball | A crystal ball floats in the air around Magikoopas' head. It grants them a +2 modifier buff to either Dexterity rolls or Wisdom rolls as they are sensing the future. Player has to clearly state which roll is being buffed. |
15-16 | Pirahna Plant | A large pirahna plant appears and bites anyone who goes within its range. Medium strength 10% DMG, AoE range: 4 feet. |
17-18 | Lakitu | A Lakitu flies overhead and drops three Spiny eggs for 12% DMG onto a target. The eggs disappear immediately after making contact with the ground or a target. |
19-20 | Koopa Shell | A green Koopa Shell is dropped into the fight. |
Kamek Alone:
Me Me Me, Me Too: Creates three illusionary Kameks. The Kameks all use the same primary attack, flavor text being either thumping an enemy with his scepter or using a magical burst. After attacking, the illusions disappear. [Heavy Wisdom 22% DMG] 3 turns Cooldown.

So Much For That: Buffs Kamek's DEX by 4 points for two turns. While special is effect, successful DEX rolls have him teleporting out of harm's way. 3 turn cooldown.

Naval's Love Bite: Kamek dropkicks a Pirahna Plant into the middle of the field. A wave of his wand makes it grow into Naval Plant. Naval then attacks anyone within reach with thorny vines... and then gives Kamek a wink and a kiss goodbye before disappearing, much to his embarrassment.

Power Platform (On the Fritz): Kammy summons up the Power Platform and just rains magical lightning down randomly. It starts to break down so a Toadie and a hard-hat wearing Lakitu take it away as she flies back in on the broomstick.

If Kamek and Kammy are together:Powered Pirahna Plant:
Kammy summons up the Power Platform and Kamek makes a Pirahna Plant grow on it, increasing its power and range. The plant disappears and the platform starts to violently shake, making a flock of Toadies and a hard-hat wearing Lakitu take it away. The magikoopas scramble to get back on the broom and fly back to the field.
Target: All Enemies (Strength 40% DMG)

If left alone, Kamek would be completely fine with staying in a library and doing research.
If left alone, Kammy would build some crazy piece of magitech and no one would ever find her blueprints.
Kamek genuinely cares for the royal family. If anything taking care of Prince Bowser and later helping him a bit with the Koopalings and Junior helped mellow out Kamek.
Kammy only cares about her standing in the kingdom... and King Bowser's well being. She does not like Junior, finds him annoying and hates "babysitting" him.
