Backstory




History On Li: After a night of horror as Mio traversed through the abandoned village of Minakami in order to rescue her sister Mayu from the spirits of the village, she eventually was able to find a way out of the village with the help of a friendly spirit by the name of Itsuki. However, he warned Mio that Mayu must complete a ritual known as the crimson sacrifice ritual and thus, must stay in the village so she can die like everyone else that lived in the village during their lifetime.

Mio however, refused to leave the village alone without her sister and was able to locate where Mayu was. The ritual was due to be held in the underground tunnels of Minakami. Despite Itsuki warning her that it was dangerous, Mio went into the underground tunnels so she can rescue Mayu anyway, after being warned about staring in a large hole that she might find in the tunnels that can be fatal to a mortal like her.

Unfortunately, when she got there and fought against Sae Kruosawa, who had possessed Mayu, she discovered that Mayu has been convinced to preform the ritual and asks Mio to kill her so they can become one and complete the ritual.

Mio however, refused to kill her twin, despite Mayu trying to force her to do so. She backed away from Mayu and tried to reason with her sister, but when it seemed like that Mio had convinced Mayu to abandoned the ritual, Mio slipped near a large hole in the tunnel and fell, while Mayu watched, horrified as her sister fell into the darkness with the camera obscura in her hands.

Mio expected to have died instead of Mayu in the ritual, but instead, she woke up in another cave that wasn't like the underground tunnels of Minakami. When she eventually got out of the cave, she was met by an infected creature, which she fought off using the camera obscura, which she discovered can now preform light attacks that can hit regular enemies instead of just hostile spirits now.

However, while she had a proper weapon to defend herself in this strange world. She was dismayed to find that she had lost Mayu again. What's more, she was in the middle of a dangerous, ghost filled village the last time she had saw her, but all hope was not lost in Mio's case.

As she saw the Life Sphere from a far soon after and started to make her way towards it, in the hopes that Mayu may have went there for safety against these strange monsters, which Mio killed some along the way towards the Life Sphere with her new upgraded weapon.

Primary Attacks 

Pressure: Mio builds up power from within the camera obscura before taken a photo of the enemy with that stored light power, which will cause the enemy to be burned if they stand in the camera's flash. (Does not cause the burned status effect.) (DEX) [DMG 17%]

Blast: Using the blast lens of the camera obscura, Mio uses it to take a long but powerful shot at the enemy, which will surround them in a ray of light that will slash into them and sting them. (DEX) [DMG 18%]

Serial: Mio takes three slow pictures of the enemy using a timer on the camera obscura, where a blast of light energy will fire at them multiple times. (This is only one attack that only fires light power shots multiple times and is not a combo move.)  (DEX) [DMG 16%]

Special Attacks 

Stun: Mio takes a powerful shot at the enemy using the stun lens, where if they are hit by the flash of the camera obscura, then there is a 100% chance of them getting the stunned status effect. However because of how powerful the lens is, Mio would have to wait until three turns pass in order to use it again. (DEX) [DMG 19%]

Zero: When Mio takes a picture of the enemy using this lens, a giant circle will form and fire towards the enemy that Mio had taken a photo of, hitting them with light power. However Mio will have to wait until two turns pass before using the lens again due to how powerful it is. (DEX) [DMG 26%]

Crush: Mio takes a powerful shot towards the enemy using the crush lens, which will send them crashing to the ground, as if some mysterious force is trying to crush them. Because of how powerful the lens is, Mio will have to wait until three turns pass before using the lens again. (DEX) [DMG 28%]

Final Smash - Fatal Frame

"I got you now in a frame!"

Six symbols begin to form from within the camera obscura's capture circle as Mio takes the perfect shot of a single target. Once she takes the picture when the symbols have been formed, the enemy will be hit with a large amount of light once the camera flashes at it and will be severely burned by the power of the camera and it's symbols. (Does not cause the burned status effect.) (60%)
