Link would approach running at super speed, leaping over a few goombas with front flips and fancy hops. He even hopped and ran over a few power blocks as he looked around. Wearing one of his favorite masks, the Bunny Hood. The yellow floppy ears moved in the wind as his feet pattered at what seemed like the speed of sound. 

He would blur to a halt, removing the bunny hood and stretching. 

'I'm supposed to meet my partner somewhere around here.....' he thought to himself as he would cross his arms briefly and look around. He'd never really explored Mario's kingdom before, it was pretty wondrous; even jumbled up like this. Very vibrant and full of color, but also danger. He could see a few lava pits with some kind of fireball with eyes leaping about even from here. 

He would look around while he waited to see if he spotted a Toad before his teammate could arrive.

He actually did far away up on a ledge surrounded by what seemed to be a bunch of Koopa's with hammers. Letting out a "HYAA?!" in surprise he would make his way running toward the Koopas. 

Hammer Bros x3: Have 50% HP each. Perform various hammer attacks that deal 15% damage, must roll higher than 10 to dodge their attacks. Must roll above 10 to land a hit on them. They each attack at least once per round.

Haseo hadn't been in a mission for a good while. Signing up for a rescue mission was something he could do very well so he got on his Steam Bike and headed out toward the location of which was set for him to meet his partner for this mission. He wondered who it was. Engines humming as his steam bike skidded to a stop to see that there was a Toad captured by some Hammer Bros, three of them in fact. Hopping off his steam bike Haseo drew out his twin blades and readied to fight.

"Alright let's do this!" Haseo said with a grin. Haseo would start by attacking the Hammer Bros with his Gale Blade ability. "Gale Blade!" he cried out as he attacked the first one.

Before Link could get there a guy with silver hair arrived on his bike, a really really cool looking bike. He would pull out twin blades, so he duel wielded eh? Link had seen many people fight like that before, and he himself did so in his Zora Form. 

As he watched the guy attack the Hammer bro, he would see one of them turn around and attempt to chuck a Hammer at him. His swordplay was pretty cool to watch even from this distance; but he was getting much closer now.

Link reaches their location as he runs up with a literal "HYAAAAAH!" scream that scares the living daylights out of the Hammer Bro that just got whacked with Haseo's attack. 

He would jump in the center of all of the Hammer Bros and perform his Hero's Spin Attack.

As he does so, the three are caught in what looks like a tornado of endless strikes as Link whirls around too fast to even really be seen. (All three of them take 18% damage). 

Link would then end his spin attack with his Boomerang already at the ready as he would launch it right at the one Haseo had struck first.

The Hammer Bro hops out of the way of the Boomerang and tries to run away knowing that one more hit would finish it. Link however, decides to throw it right at it's back one more time with another "Yaaaaaah!"

The turtle actually ducks out of the way of the approaching boomerang as it literally runs for it's life scampering away. 

Link would then finally turn to Haseo; giving him a confident nod with a smile and a "Hya!" as a greeting. He then stood back to back with Haseo at the ready. 

Link then attempts to dodge two incoming hammers from the Hammer Bros as they both chuck powerful hammer throws at him.

The first one catches him but he throws up a shield blocking it, as he then leaps to the side with an acrobatic sideways flip to dodge the second one. He now had a more serious look on his face. Not good for the Hammer Bros.

The kid was in fact his backup it seemed. He seemed to be doing a pretty good job holding them off too. Right now though Haseo would focus on dodging the hammer attack.

Haseo had almost dodged the hammer but it just barely connected and landed that 15% damage onto him. "Oh that's it, you guys are going down!" He said before activating his skill Gale Blade once more on the Hammer Bro #1.

Next Haseo would dash over to the next one in a quick sprint and attack with another Gale Blade.

Doing this was a strike from his twin blades. First his left blade then the right and after Haseo lands a third hit with a front flip kick onto the foe.

Haseo almost missed this attack but managed to land it right on the Hammer Bro #2 with ease. 

Moving to the third Hammer Bro Haseo would use the same attack a third time to hopefully wrap this up.

Another hit! 

Haseo had backflipped over toward where Link was as he finished his attacks on the Hammer Bros before landing on the soft ground below. Those Hammer Bros would be feeling the weight of their actions soon enough and that toad would be rescued. "You think you can handle the rest?" Haseo asked Link as he gave a question toward the young boy, hoping that this kid could in fact do the rest with something like this.

Link watched the guy do his work, as the guy would slash at the Hammer Bros with the coolest yet strangest looking golden swords he'd ever seen. They had spikes floating near them or around them. He'd have to ask him about his weapons sometime, Link honestly wanted to try em out. He had a thing for new weapons after all. 

The last two Hammer Bros were practically stumbling around after Haseo got done smacking em around.

Link would run up to them flip through the air and then throw his Boomerang 3 times before they could even react it missed twice but knocked them both out as it hit them both once as it passed backward to him he would catch it as he would turn to Haseo. Looking him up and down, Link would inspect his weapons curiously walking around him as only a kid could do. He would smile and point at the weapons with a nod and a slight noise. "Whoaaaaaaa."

The toad they had rescued would hop down and slide down a hill, rolling to a halt and popping up thanking them with a bunch of Toad noises, and even running up to Link and hugging him in an adorable moment. 

Link watched as the Toad would go heading off back to Li. Looking around, Link would try to spot another Toad.

He didn't spot one yet, as he frowned a bit. Deciding to head toward a watery area, he would take off running signaling Haseo to follow him with a "Hya!"

The boy would in fact be able to handle the rest as he threw a boomerang to take out the remaining Hammer Bros. The kid was definitely very much a kid though as he examined his weapons the Spin Gai Gu. They were basic in terms of twin blades but always the reliable weapons to have on hand just in case.

His first form was always the default form of his repertoire of abilities so if this kid liked weapons he would soon find out that he had a lot of abilities that could easily impress even further. That was not the time for this though since they had other toads to rescue, more time to get some decent practice in as well.

"Like them huh? Well you'll get to see them more in action later." Haseo said with a grin.

Hopping back on his steam bike Haseo would follow the boy who was running rather fast to look for toads. Haseo took his search to a more watery area Haseo attempted to see if he could spot one.

With a nod back to Haseo, Link would beam a smile at him wondering what the weapons could do. 

As they looked around the watery area they were in, Haseo spotted another Toad; stuck in a damn island way out in the water he probably couldn't swim. There however were pieces of land one could hop on to get to them....then again Toads weren't known for their exceptional jumping. There was one who adventured with Mario he recalled though. 

Before they could get close, several large....red FISH began leaping out of the water and attempting to swallow them up. Link hopped forward to another platform to get out of the way of the first one. What kinda fish did Mario have in his homeworld anyways?!

Must roll a 8 or Higher to land a hit. Must roll an 8 or higher to dodge. They deal 10% damage per bite, and if you roll less than a 5 on your dodge roll you will be swallowed briefly and take 20% damage.

Link would ready himself, watching the giant red fish in the water as it approached. He'd be ready this time. Pulling out his bow he would wait for it to leap again into the air, this time he'd fire a shot right into it's mouth with a serious look on his face. Using the legendary Hero's Bow.

Unleashing three arrows at ridiculous speed and handwork; the three whistled through the air as one missed but the other two smacked the Cheep Cheep mid-air causing it to tumble and flip through the air before landing back in the water hurt pretty bad. 

The second one came at Link with a leaping attack of it's own out of the water.

Link would easily do a backflip where he jumped 20ft into the air it seemed like before landing in place at a crouch; dodging it easily.

Haseo took notice of the toad now stranded on a small island that was surrounded by strange red fish. Moving over toward the fish he would attempt a Gale Blade attack on one of them, the first one being his target. Haseo would swim toward the fish before attacking it with his twin blades.

The attack hit this time and the Cheep Cheep was now fallen. Using his last action to go for the second Cheep Cheep, Haseo attempted a Sword Dance attack.

"We're almost there. Just a little bit more and it'll be safe to swim back." Haseo said to the toad before he got onto one of the small islands to make sure the second Cheep Cheep didn't try anything funny.

Link would notice him hop into the water and go after the Cheep Cheep, impressive he actually caught it under water and took one out. Then it was just one more Link decided he could probably snipe it from here. Whirling an arrow into position in the Hero's Bow he would get a concentrated look on his face and pull it back with a fully charged shot.

He would connect with his shot as the Cheep Cheep flew into the air with a leap from probably pain. Before exploding into nothingness with a purple colored explosion. 

Alright, we did it...this Haseo guy ain't half bad. he would look to Haseo and then nod with a smile and a "Ha!"

Hoping from platform to platform, the toad followed them and then headed back toward the city of Li without them. 

Link would then stand on his toes by habit while looking around, trying to spot another toad if he could.
