Backstory: Khaida was a timid girl when she was younger. She never liked conflict, of any sort. She just… Couldn’t handle it. She’d always go out of her way to seek out a way to escape it, or go to her siblings for help to get out of it. She was bullied somewhat regularly in school, which sent her running to her siblings for help. She just couldn’t handle it.Which is what made the fate of her mother hit 10 times as hard, when she died. For weeks the poor girl just… Shut down. She simply couldn’t take it. She cried, she said nothing, she hardly ate. She was a mess. Eventually, she broke out of it, but it took time.
When she did break out of it, she had made a decision. She didn’t want to suffer that sort of grief again. It just hurt far too much. The young Dell’Thayme started studying Thaumaturgey in honest at this point in her life. She wasn’t as powerful as some of the family, god forbid coming even close to being on par with her father, but that was something she could handle. She just… Wanted to find her own way to avoid the pain of losing someone she cared about again.
She wouldn’t find that way for years. And not before things really went to hell. The Collective betrayed her father. Betrayed the Dell’Thaymes. They took her home. They forced her to go on the run, alongside the rest of her family. Eventually, she’d find her own way though, and start striking out from her family to try and become a bit more independent.
And oh independent she became. The young timid girl quickly began to grow into an entirely new business. Khaida made her own personal shell around her inherently timid nature. Not only did she finally master a way to create Hard Light weapons from Essentus, she took to underground fighting arenas to grow her skills as a fighter. And she quickly learned to fight very, VERY dirty. She didn’t have raw power to roll with, despite her personal armory of weapons quickly expanding more and more into a highly volatile list of deadly weapons, and was forced to work with her wits. She learned to smack talk someone into anger, throw sand in their eyes, bite, claw, and use anything on hand that she could to win a fight as fast as possible. And, she started deciding that giving even luck to her opponents wasn’t worth the risk, and started drinking Luck Essentus to further tip the scales in her favor. The Dell’Thayme took up a few extra hobbies along the way as well, and as her skill in a fight grew, so did her confidence.
And her reputation. Rumors began to spread of a young Wolf Thoein fighter in the arena, and though Khaida had been smart enough to never use her real name, she knew that it was probably gonna spell trouble. … And with her newfound confidence, she decided to cause herself more trouble. Khaida started taking to the streets at night and causing as many problems for the collective as she could, before slipping out while the guards tried to hunt her down. She was a nuisance doing her damndest to cause the people that had screwed her life up hell, while trying to enjoy herself at least a little all the while. They screwed with the Dell’Thaymes, after all.
And it was time for some bloody payback.
Khaida went about this for a few years, causing problems for them, and protecting random innocents from the Collective. But one night… It went horribly wrong for her.
"Read 'em and weep, mates! Ah ain't outta this game yet!" Khaida had just managed to pull a big hand in Mahjong. The first she'd had all week. Sure, she'd probably be out in a few games, but that didn't matter. She was there to have fun.
Fun that was promptly broken when the collective bust in, and demanded her by name. Everything went to hell from there, a fight broke out. One that was stopped when they grabbed the people there, and threatened their lives if she didn't stand down. She did.
From there, things just kept getting worse. They slapped cuffs on her and dragged her into headquarters, almost literally, and branded her arm with a sigil. She fought and snarled the entire time, before dragging her before a portal, with several scientists monitoring it… Uncuffed her… And threw her the hell in.
Appearance:
History On Li: When Khaida arrived on Li, she arrived yelling. She felt like her body was being torn apart. What was she seeing? Where was she? She didn't know. She felt like she was in several places at once. Her eyes were giving her conflicting information. Her ears and nose were doing the same. It was terrifying. What was happening? How did she end up like this? … She couldn't remember.
Her brain raced. How was she supposed to save herself from this? What did she do? … She couldn't think of anything. So she decided to rely on the one thing she had to rely on. Good ol' lady luck. Trembling, her hands reached for the one bit of essentus they hadn't taken from her on her hip. Her body felt like it was going to be torn apart at any moment. Shaking, she took the bottle from her hip… Raised it to her lips… And drank.
… As she finished the bottle, she felt her senses clear. Panting, Khaida removed it from her lips. She felt… Better. Slowly, she opened her eyes again. … One stable environment. She… She was good. Thank god. “Alright… Yer… Yer good Khaida. Yer good… Just… Take this one step at a time. Figure out where tha hell you are, then take it from there.” With that said… She was off into the depths of the Life Sphere, wandering around, figuring things out… And slowly running into her family again. Talk about a blessing in disguise. … Now if only she could remember how she got here… And what the hell happened to her.
Primary Attacks (3)
Street Fighting: Khaida's learned to fight dirty with both her fists and her legs over the years. As a result she'll hit you however she damn well pleases and if she gets ya, it'll hurt. [STR, 18%]
Hardlight Pistol: Khaida forms a hardlight pistol and opens fire. They're not fully formed bullets, but they sure as hell hurt. [DEX, 8%]
Hardlight Weaponfair: Khaida attacks with her curent formed hardlight weapon, based on whatever type it is. Should she fail to keep a weapon durable, she MUST use Dex to attempt throwing the weapon at the enemy like a grenade. If she rolls less than 10, it will instead blow up in her face, doing the normal damage the weapon would deal if used normally to her. [Stat and damage variable based on Hardlight Weapons move.]
Special Attacks (3)
Liquid Luck: Khaida drinks a bottle of liquid luck, stabalizing (healing) Quantum Displacement by 20 and giving her +2 to a single roll of her choice that turn. The jar she carries naturally gathers more from the environment over the course of 2 turns after being used.
Hardlight Armoury: Khaida's bread and butter. To use Hardlight Weaponry, Khaida makes a raw dice roll to select which weapon she will use with Weaponfaire. Once the weapon has been selected, its properties are applied to Hardlight Weaponfair, and each turn it is active, she must make a wisdom roll of 12 to keep it from exploding, with the dice check going up by 1 every turn the weapon is active.

Hardlight Mace | 9-11 | A large mace, it does 18% and has a 5% chance to deal Stunned. Can only be used once per turn. Strength. |
Hardlight Greatsword | 12-13 | A massive greatsword, that deals 22%. Has a 1 turn cooldown. Upkeep rolls must still be made while on cooldown. Strength. |
Hardlight Shotgun | 14-15 | Your typical combat shotgun, Khaida blasts the nearest target with it. When used, Khaida makes a roll with 1d8 to determine how many pellets may hit. For each number up, it will do 3 extra damage. 1 does 3%, 8 does 24% damage. Dex. |
Hardlight Minigun | 16-17 | A minigun with a high rate of fire. It does 8% damage, with a 70% chance to inflict mortal wound. Dex. |
Hardlight RPG | 18-19 | A damn RPG that Khaida fires off. Does 24% AOE damage and takes 2 turns to reload. Upkeep must be performed during cooldown. Dex. |
Hardlight Sniper Rifle | 20 | Khaida's strongest weapon. So strong, in fact... She can't fire it off without giving herself a nasty bruise. Does 32% damage, with a 1 turn cooldown and deals 5% self damage. Upkeep must be performed during cooldown. Dex. |
Quantum Displacement: Khaida is no longer properly bound to time and space, due to the sigil she was branded with before arriving breaking upon arrival. At the start of a thread, she's perfectly stable, but Khaida can choose to make any roll again, but this will force her to accept the second roll, be it higher or lower at the cost of receiving 15 Quantum Displacement. Should she hit 100 Quantum Displacement, Khaida will be rendered unable to act. All attacks made on her will auto hit, and her turn will be completely skipped, unless she uses Liquid Luck. Liquid Luck is the only move she can use in this state, and during this state she heals 5 Quantum Displacement naturally per turn by trying to pull herself together through sheer force of will, and can only continue to fight should she heal 30 Quantum Displacement. If she reaches 70 displacement via Liquid Luck, she will still be unable to attack until her next turn.

Khaida is officially SICK OF YOU. Summoning every bit of power she has, she unleashes a massive arsenal of Hardlight Weaponry, and unloads. Rocket launchers, assault rifles, and she even rushes in herself to deal damage with melee weaponry. How does she use all of these weapons at once, you ask? Well... She isn't exactly bound by the rules of time and space anymore. By stretching herself across time and space, she chooses one enemy in particular, and puts all of her focus into making them feel pain without end by attacking from several places at once. This results in 40 quantum displacement, but does 75% to a single target.
