Backstory:At the age of 9 years old, Daisy once lived on a Farm with her Father, In the business of growing Turnips. It was a pretty sad life, as Daisy was forced to work endlessly and relentlessly from her father's wishes. If Daisy didnt do well, her Father would beat her with a Wooden Spoon, And send her to bed without supper.
However, One day, Daisy had accidentally fallen off of a wagon of Turnips carrying to the Koopa Kingdom, and accidentally rolled her way into the Toadstool woods. Lost and afraid, Daisy turned to being very aggressive to any who came in her way. This lead to Daisy, accidentally, Hitting a kind woman in pink, named Peach.
The Mysterious Lady was not mad, at all, As Daisy felt she could almost see through her. This woman could hear her heart, and her fear and terror of being lost. Peach lead Daisy back home to her farm, To which Daisy's father thanked Peach.
But, as Peach began to leave the farm, Daisy's father, Enraged, Raised a hand to strike Daisy once again...
And instead, As if Magic, Peach emerged from the very wall beside Daisy's father, and cast him aside, Binding him into a rocking chair. The many Turnips of the Farm began to rise up, Magically Fusing and collaborating together into the form of a giant monster, Affectionately named by Daisy as 'Turnip-zilla', To which the Monster smashed through the Farm, and Rampaged against the Father, as Peach took Daisy by the hand, And lead her back to the woods...
One day, when Peach got Kidnapped by a renegade group of Koopa Monk's named the Unfortunate Five, Lead by King Bowser, You felt Peach's trust within you swell into her very own magical power. She suddenly transformed, Suddenly jumping from age 9 to age 17, Dawning Daisy-flower adorned gloves, and a entire lifetime of MMA Training fill her memory, as she became the 'Orange Pugilist!', As she saved her Mom's life, and was the hero for the day!
Appearance:
History On Li: Like Witch Princess, Peach, Daisy is from a book's world. A world on the verge of destruction... By dog teeth, Daisy was brought with the castle out of the book by Peach. The witch princess woke up to being in a different position than normal. Suspecting something she bursted out of the castle to see Peach and the castle in a large city with strangers.
The girl greeted her Mom who explained that this world needed their aide. She did not really understand it but she was not one to question her mother's wishes. With a decisive
resolve the girl will do what she can to help this world. Whether it's what threatens her family or the new home she will do what she can to help. And if her fists just happen to create some mischief... well, it's not like a Witch Princess can complain.Primary Attacks (3)
Floral Fists: A fighting style of kicks and punches that aim to overpower the foe with brute force. Whether it be rapid fire blows or more focused strikes, the harder you hit the faster the foe falls after all. Whenever she lands a blow it's usually accompanied by floral symbols. Usable in kid form. [Medium Strength Attack, 8-18%]
Dynamic Strike: A paticularly strong blow that foregoes physical defenses for a blow with unrivaled power. Whether it be a hip check, a heavy hitting punch, a flying kick or some other dynamic way of landing the blow that releases a boquet of flowers, whatever action she takes she has a -2 to her next dodge. The only way to make an entrance is a dynamic one. Usable in kid form. [Heavy Strength Attack, 30%]
Flowerdoken: A blast of raw fighting power. This technique may seem magic at first but it's a martial arts technique that projects her strength forward in the shape of flowers. This technique allows her to fire flower shaped blasts with her attacks to keep a decent range. In exchange for 5% recoil she can exhaust her body to send an even stronger blast known as Le Boquet, a blast that looks like a ball of flowers that explode into pure energy when they connect for 10% extra damage. A series of decietful projectiles. Only as the Orange Pugilist. [Medium Strength Attack, 18%]
Special Attacks (3)
Empowerment: The power of Fighting Spirit embodied into enhanced strengths and ability. This power manifests as Flower Points for Daisy and allow her to enhance her actions as a free action at the cost of them. She starts and can store up to 50 FP at a time and expends them whenever she uses an empowerment technique. FP can be regained by protecting allies from attacks (10 FP), eating food (5 FP for most foods, 10 for Fruits and vegetables. Eating Turnips remove 10 FP), Devouring Enemies (5 initial FP and 5 for every round they remain trapped thereafter, additional 10 FP if the target is defeated) or concentrating her power. (5 FP, costs an action). All require to be the Orange Pugilist.
- Flower Power: A mystical force that channels nature into it's strike, causing a parasitic flower to burst from the foe's head if the attack lands. Adds Flower Infliction to her next attack. 10 FP.
- Rose Thorn: An empowered strike that feels like you are jabbing the foe with a prickly thorn, acting like it's injecting a floral based toxin. Adds Poison or Paralysis Infliction to her attack's damage. 15 FP.
- Solid Strike: An empowered strike that makes the strike... Hit harder. Adds 5% damage to her next attack for every 15 FP consumed.
- Floral Drain: Transfers life energy from her foe back to herself with an empowered strike. Recovers half the damage of the attack's output. Costs 25 FP.
- Metabolism: A technique that increases the rate and effeciency Daisy's tummy works. When used with food based healing items, it treats her Charisma Mod as 3 higher than normal. Food Based Buffing Items have their effects increased by 2 turns or uses as she absorbs nutrients more effeciently. When used on a foe inflicted with digesting it instead adds 1d10 digestion damage that turn. 15 FP.
- Pinpoint Petal: A technique that aims for a more accurate blow to help ensure it does not miss. Increases her attack's accuracy by +2. 15 FP.
Reverse Blossom: The ultimate "No You" style of fighting. When confronted with an attack, Daisy attempts to counter it with an attack of her own. This counter varies depending on if it's Melee or ranged. With Melee attacks she will attempt to parry or reverse the foe's attack with her Strength or Dexterity, even able to use it to throw the foe into another. If it's a ranged attack she will catch the projectile, whether it's physical or energy and pocket it. She can then either throw it back as a free action or store it until she wants to toss it. She can only store one ranged attack at a time. Both variations give the countered move 1.5x damage. 3 turn cooldown. Usable in Kid Form.
Entanglement: Whether with her own Strength or using Dexterity to project a fighting force vine to grapple the foe from her gloves, Daisy can enact a few different kinds of grapple stances. A Restaint stance that inflicts Suffocation or Gagged and attempts to force the target unconscious and attempts to cut off physical weapons by restraining the foe. Rough Stance which deals 12% damage as it initiates the grapple, not lowering the threshold, but only when starting a grapple. Nomf Stance, where utilizing special secret knight powers known as shenanigans she inflicts the Digesting Status upon the foe, whether it be with a summoned pirahna plant type enemy or her own tummy like her Mom. Gentle Stance is usually for allies and reduces the duration of their statuses by +1 for every turn the grapple is maintained. These stances can be changed and switched between midgrapple. Every stance except Nomf and Vine based grapples can be enacted as Kid Daisy. 3 turn cooldown.
Orange Pugilist Power Activate!: With a sudden burst of strength and determination to protect her family no matter what, Daisy becomes the Orange Pugilist! Aging up to 17 and gaining a taller stature of 5'11" tall, she gains with her a surge of power. For 3 turns she gains the following buffs collectively in the form of a Special Buff known as "Orange Pugilist":
- Discipline of Unrivaled Body: Gain a +1 to her STR, DEX and CON Modifiers
- Discipline of Unrelenting Force: Deal 1.25x damage with all attacks
- Discipline of Unflinching Resolve: All damage dealt by Evil Aligned Characters, Turnips and the Darkness Element is reduced by Daisy's 1d5+(Daisy's CON)
- Discipline of Unbreakable Body and Mind: Daisy becomes immune to Horrified, Berserk, Poison and Paralysis statuses
However, being hit by Mini/age reverting effects, Infatuation or Disabled will remove the buff early. Even after the buff ends Daisy will maintain her older appearance until she returns to normal. Like Mega, this buff can reverse Mini as well as kid based debuffs when activating. 4 turn cooldown.
Final Smash (1)
Unlimited Flower Power!: Daisy performs a combat ready stance that increases her fighting spirit to massive proportions for 4 turns. This increases all her Mods by +2 for the duration and every turn she will passively regain 30 FP per turn to allow her to deal more empowered attacks. She is constantly emitting flower petals in this state and has an intense orange aura.
Other Info: Daisy is 9 normally but as the Orange Pugilist she ages to 17. She can fight the same in either mode but some of her more specialized techniques like Empowerment and Flowerdoken require her to be transformed to pull off. This is mostly flavor otherwise. In kid form her fighting style is considered "less refined" than transformed, but mechanically the same.
