Miah was standing in the center of the Stadium. Her trusty Tome in her hands, opened and glowing with the aether stored within. Several butterflies made of raw magic floating around the scholar as she looked through her old notes. The Au Ra waiting patiently for her challenger. She had come here on a mission. To learn more about those that lived in this strange new world, and to understand how they fought.

You see the healer wasn't very good at single combat. Her strength had always been in working with allies, even when there was the occasional mission where said allies were not quite up to task. However, here on Li she had a more... interesting variety of people to choose from when it came to gathering up a proper party. Of course this variety also led to a lack of understanding in how her potential allies fought. This in itself was an issue. The Scholar could not 100% support someone without knowing what exactly they were capable.

And at the end of the day, that was the purpose of her challenge. To experience first hand what the kinds of techniques she would need to synergize with. Of course she wasn't going to start this with a simple open invitation. The Scholar had seen a chance and she seized it. The curious dragon having invited the one and only Mimi to be her first sparing partner. The mage hoping to gain of glimpse into how exactly the Mochi battled, to hopefully understand her a bit better.

Suddenly, From the Bleachers of the Stadium, Mimi Flipped forward from the Bleachers, Landing with a soft bounce on the ground before Miah, Grinning happily as she trotted up to the Au Ra, Smirking. "I got your Invitaatiooon~! We seem to meet eachother alot, huh?" Mimi would ask as she walked up to Miah, Smiling. "Not that i mind, Buuuut, You wanted to punch me around?" Mimi would ask curiously, Tilting her head as she started to look around. There was a sizable crowd gathering now...

"...Well, Guess there's no backing out this time, Huh?" *Mimi asked, giggling and moving into her fighting stance. elbows bent, Arms at her side, Legs bouncing on themselves, Tail swaying as she looked directly at Miah.

"Dont get mad when i win though, 'Kay?"

"Indeed, you were the only person I could think of that would work well as my opponent today. The scholar plainly explained. She didn't have her fairy with her with, which was strange considering that Mimi saw the little thing following the Au Ra around on a constant basis.

"And don't assume I'll go down so easily. I might not excel at one-on-one, but that doesn't mean you should take me lightly~" Miah seemed to almost tease the Mochi a bit as she said that. She felt a slight camaraderie with the mochi. But that wouldn't stop her from going all-out. She was here to learn what she could about how her fellow adventurer fought and she was going to do everything in her power to learn.

With a deep breath, Miah's body glowed a bright purple as she drew Aether from the very ground around her. Her bright red eyes glowing for a brief moment as she shifted into her combat stance.

Just then, the mage would launch into a series of spells, a small word shouted in Nymian was all the warning Mimi got before a small black sphere made of compressed magic fired in her direction. aiming to blast her!

Following that swift blast, was a different sort of spell, another strange word in Nymian and suddenly Mimi would find the air around her turning rancid. Dark green smoke wafting around her before attempting to force it's way into her body. It was an infectious spell, one meant to deliver a powerful poison to one's body!

Mimi smirked at Miah's teasing, as the Smug Mochi gave a bright, Blue grin to Miah, Taking up a stance not Disimilar to a goofy, Speedy dancing style, as she tilted her head, as Miah was casting a spell on herself. In Mimi's eyes, Miah was just glowing herself up, Making mimi tap her chin, Before taking a...Exact same stance as Miah?? Mimi's Blue Aura suddenly glowing visibly around her in similar fashion, as now, Mimi was now sparkling! 

Mimi...Honestly thought Miah's Aether flow was just her putting on some magical Makeup.

"Ha HAH! Now *I* Look just as sparkly as you do~!" Mimi would say in mocking tone, Putting hands on her hips and sticking out her tongue-- Only for a Ruin blast to start coming her way. "W-woah!" Mimi would shout in surprise, Jumping back from the Ruin shot, and Landing on her butt, Her Tail coiling up under her rump and springing her forward to jump right past the ruin, as Mimi would then land--

Mimi shook her head, Standing up a bit straighter. "Did you cast a Bacon spell on me?? I though Bacon was supposed to be red! If your Bacon's green, I think you need to toss it out!" Mimi would scold Miah-- Demonstrating her stone cold iron lack of understanding of Miah's abilities, Before mimi would take back her fighting stance--

And open her palms, To fire off two Cobalt-colored Energy blasts at Miah! "BLAM BLAM BOOM POW POW ZAP ZAP PEW PEW!!!"

...One might notice Mimi's aim with these shots were absolutely terrible, as one was dead centered on flying right past Miah if she chose not to move,as the other wobbled around back and forth that it would be easy to dodge without even moving! However, once the Blasts flew past, Miah would suddenly bear witness to Mimi...Spinning on her foot, Spinning in place as if she were some Mutant Bandicoot, Until suddenly-- Sending her Arm, Stretching quite far, Right for Miah's belly for a Gut Punch! "WONDERFUL SPINNING PUNCH OF THE FLYING WHATCHAMACALLIT!!"

Miah focused for a few moments as she watched the patterns of Mimi's blasts. Almost a bit too long in all honesty as despite the wild and slow patterns, Miah had to produce her Bubble Shield in order to properly stop the first shot from hitting her, only for her the second to barely strike her as she tried and failed to get out of the way in time.

Miah felt herself skidding back a good bit from that high powered punch. The Scholar grasping her stomach a bit for a few moments before she finally stood tall again. A series of Nymian phrases escaping her lips as her entire body began to glow with a bright green light. Only for her to thrust her right hand forward as she cast her spell. A series of bright orange spheres appearing around Mimi's body and suddenly exploding with a surprising amount of intense force.

As soon as the smoke from the Broil cleared. Miah's hand would flash a dark blue. A small bubble of blue magic forming above Mimi before suddenly exploding into a sphere of dark blue energy.

(Miah casts Shadow Flare. This attack deals 20% damage if it hits and creates a lingering bubble. All enemies who end their turn inside the Bubble or enter the bubble must make a Con save versus the original roll or else take 10 damage.

As the explosion roared out Miah would gently wave to the crowd watching them. The Scholar taking a small bow as she turned back to her opponent and called out.

"First of all, it's not Bacon, it's called Bio. Secondly. I'd be far more worried about a small stomach right now."
