This was a first for Mamoru, fighting in the Sunshine Stadium. The crowds were awaiting in the stadium seats, when they only needed the edge to see the battle that was about to be prepared, the audience would know that Pit was going to be in the fight, what they were not expecting however; was who his opponent was, as the smashtron screen only seemed to show a silhouette of a mysterious figure with the only parts not shrouded in darkness being a white domino mask and a rose, with a Crescent Moon in the background.

As for Mamoru himself, he was making his way to the arena by way of his Alfa Romeo SZ, and he knew how to drive it well, as he managed to get to the Sunshine Stadium to be ready for the inevitable match.

"I wonder if those people know that a secret identity is meant to be kept a secret from them... Only one way to find out, I guess." Mamoru thought to himself as he waited for his opponent and the referee for the match to arrive, his hand entering the inside of his coat to grab his trademark rose.

Hark! The clouds on high are parting. Down between them shone a brilliant beam of light, through which descended that most virtuous of beings. Neither a dove, nor disciple, but an angel. Wings aglow, his sandals gracefully touched down upon the battlefield. With a humble wave of his hand and a vain flex of his bicep to the crowd, he scanned the arena for his opponent.
	“Lady Palutena, who’s the guy in the fancy tuxedo and mask?” Pit telepathically asked the Goddess of Light whom he loyally served. “That’s the dreamy protector of earth, Tuxedo Mask!” She replied from her heavenly VIP seat. “Oh okay. Guess the name fits… He looks really dressed up for the occasion. Is he here to introduce my opponent?” Pit wondered genuinely impressed by how primp and refined his attire was.
	“He Is your opponent, Pit.” Palutena clarified with a smirk to his obliviousness. “All decked out and dapper like that? Are we going to fight together or waltz?” Pit scratched his head laughing in confusion. “I mean, what’s he gonna do? Throw roses at me?” He teased condescendingly. “Actually, that’s exactly what he’s going to do, Pit.” Palutena warned. “Remember that every rose has its thorns and his can leave you mortally wounded.” “Oh… Ouch.” Pit gulped, finally a little intimidated.
	“He also weaponizes a classy cane and a yoyo,” “Like Ness?” “As well as the Sword of Endymion.” She ominously disclosed. “Oh so he’s a swordsman, is he? Well why didn’t you say so?” Pit nodded, relieved by his newfound understanding. “Now the Mask of Zorro energy makes sense!” “I’d start taking him seriously soon if I were you, Pit…”

“'Protector of Earth', huh? A human?!” a familiar voice echoed. the enormous spectral figure of Viridi appeared above the stadium, looking down upon the fighters. “When's the last time he ever stood up against human imperialism and mercantilism?? I don't see a green earth pin on him! Do you??” Viridi sorely remarked, insulted by the title. “Mistress Viridi, I believe the match is waiting upon you to begin.” Arlon's voice chimed in, gently attempting to guide Viridi's attention back to her role as the judge.

“...Right! Listen up, because I won't say it twice! No items. Fox only. Final Destination!!” Viridi announced rather spiritedly. “...Who's Fox?” Arle's voice asked in bewilderment. “...Did I say Fox? I meant no final smashes.” Viridi corrected. “Final Smashes have been against the stadium rules for like, ever. Do we even need to mention that anymore?” Arle asked. “Apparently~” Viridi remarked, rolling her eyes at no one in particular. “Anyway. No killing your opponent. Try not to fight like a couple of clumsy monkeys with no idea what they're doing. And whichever one of you manages to impress me, my girlfriend, or cragalanche is getting bonus thunderbadges. Got it? Well if you don't have any questions, get fighting!!”

Mamoru would then notice that his opponent had arrived, as well as the referee...  Who clearly seemed indignant that someone like Mamoru was a protector of the earth.

"Apparently someone needs to brush up on their anime lore...  No point in worrying about it now." Mamoru said with a nervous glance at Viridi before pulling out a rose that had not bloomed.

And before the match even began, a very bright flash of light surround Mamoru, preventing the audience from seeing Mamoru transform, even the referee wouldn't be able to see the transformation.

And when the light subsided, standing before Pit and Viridi was Tuxedo Mask.

"I do believe that I know the rules easily enough, but so long as it is part of the moveset, I believe outside interference would not be allowed, but when has that ever been explained." Tuxedo Mask said calmly, before turning his masked gaze to Pit, a knowing smile on his face.  "So you are my opponent?  Show to me your power, and I shall try to not disappoint in putting on a display of mine." he added, pulling out another rose fully bloomed, and hurled it at pit to see how he would react to having a flower sprout stop his head.

He would then close the gap and attempt to quite literally strike Pit with his cane...

	Before Pit knew what hit him, the familiar voice of another goddess graced his inner ears. “...You Gotta be kidding me.” Pit groaned as he realized it wasn’t his inner ears but very much his outer, looking up at Viridi’s massive projection above the stadium. “Viridi! What a nice surprise.” Palutena’s slightly larger spectral figure daintily waved with a tease from across the stadium. “You’ve come to colorfully commentate the current competition~?” She seemed to gain a newfound point of interest in this match.
“Well that’s okay, I won’t need the Three Sacred Treasures for a human.” Pit shrugged, not minding the restriction on his Final Smash. “I’ve got my Bows, Blades, Staffs, Claws, Cannons, Orbitars, Arms, and the Palms in my hands. I’ll be fine.” He bragged as he spun his favorite bow between his fingers like a baton.
	“Actually, I do have a question: Where’s-?” Pit tried to ask before Viridi cut him off and started the match. He where Tuxedo Mask was, since the only sign of him was the silhouette on the smashtron screen. Fortunately for him, he didn’t have to wait at all as a very bright flash of light revealed Tuxedo Mask across the field, in all his clean pressed and dapper glory. “…Oh.” He gasped with excitement. “Look, Lady Palutena! There he is! It's Tuxedo Mask!” “Yes Pit, I saw.” Palutena nodded, conspicuously lacking his sense of wonder. “But he’s right; I’m not allowed to help you any further, so Good Luck Pi—” And her ethereal voice was replaced with static. Looking up at her giant projection, she innocently shrugged with lips sealed tight.
“Alright then. Let’s not keep them waiting any longer.” Pit rolled his shoulders and his neck to loosen up and hopped into fighting stance. “Masked dandy standing before me, you’ll see all my power if you fight as good as you look!” He kept them waiting just a little longer with his traditional pre-battle rallying cry. “I dedicate this stylish showdown to Lady Palutena and all my troops in her army! Class is now in sess-Woah!” Which was mercifully cut off by Tuxedo Mask’s first attack.
(bw1o36kep_1d20+3 Pit's Dodge of Rose Throw. Success!) “Shun!” Pit stepped and turned his body 90 degrees to dodge the rose. (p_1d20+3 Pit's Dodge of Yo-Yo Attack. Failure. Takes 20% Damage) “Shi-ow!” The rose successfully distracted him from Tuxedo Mask’s Yoyo, which gave him a spinning punch across the face. Both of these distractions served to create an opening that Tuxedo Mask rushed in to fill with his cane. (p_1d20+3 Pit's Dodge of Cane Thrust. Success!) Which Pit promptly blocked with his bow.
“Nice try. I see whacha tried there.” Pit squinted, nodding in understanding. Seemed he liked what he saw so far. Tuxedo Mask was showing promise. “And now It’s my turn to stretch!” Pit announced, using his bow to throw Tuxedo Mask off of himself, before splitting it into a pair of twin blades. (p_1d20+2 Pit's Palutena Bow (Melee Mode) @ Tuxedo Mask; Does 10% Damage) (p_1d20+2 Pit's Critical Palutena Bow (Melee Mode) @ Tuxedo Mask; Does 15% Damage) (p_1d20 Crit Confirm, does 5% more if successful) “Hey Craigalanche! Watch this!” Pit slid down between Tuxedo Mask’s legs, to catch him from behind with a Burning Palm to the seat of his pants. (p_1d20+1 Pit's Burning Palm @ Tuxedo Mask; Does 4% Damage, with 80% chance of inflicting Burn status.) (p_1d20+1 Pit's Appeal!)

Speaking of searching for for good media in a sea of obsceneties though, what anime am I supposed to be watching again? I don't even know what kind of show would appeal to someone like me... let alone Arle. I like the roses though!”

"Not bad, You have the makings of a guardian angel in you." Tuxedo Mask said as Pit managed to avoid two out of three of his attacks, and quickly shifted to a defensive stance to try and avoid some of Pit's attacks.

The next attack however would be met with a Bubble Shield erected by way of Tuxedo Mask's cape.

He would then try to avoid the Burning Palm...

"Interesting way to try and hit me, but you should know that you shouldn't attack someone from behind or when their back is turned, that is quite cowardly." Tuxedo Mask said as he calmly put out the flames, while suffering from the damaging burns, turning to face Pit who was already in close enough range to be smacked by another attack, this time with the Sword of Endymion

Then tried again...

“Hey thanks.” The cute little arc-angel smiled as he shook his hand cool. “I guess you can say I’ve had experience in that department.” “...Coward?!” Pit did a double take of being assumed that just because he attacked someone from behind. Where was he supposed to spank him? The front? “I’ll show you a coward!” Pit barked, blocking the Sword of Endymion with two swings of the halves of his Palutena Bow.

“Ow!” Caught with nowhere to dodge to, Pit rubbed his forehead with the back of his hand in pain, only for a Flower to sprout out of it. “Are you sure you’re not part of the Forces of Nature?” Pit asked, trying to bat the flower off his head to no avail. Giving up for now, he resumed his dual-sword play.

Tuxedo Mask payed little heed to Pit's words, almost as though he were entirely focused on the battle, he did try to evade the Melee strikes...

He did get knicked by a lucky swing, and upon hearing that insult about 'crash landing on the moon' and having it backfire courtesy of Arlon himself, the Upperdash Arm would completely miss Tuxedo Mask as he jumped to where he was now on the Upperdash Arm, pinning it in place by simply standing on it in a fashion akin to Dark Link in Ocarina of Time.

"You need not worry, I've been to miss Nadja's world at least twice now, she would make for a good friend of Chibi-Usa." Tuxedo Mask said casually to Viridi, before locking he's gaze back on Pit, one could almost tell that there was something like literal smugness in that gaze that told Pit that he was now going to be in trouble for underestimating the person he now faced.  "I'll let your insult slide, after all, I'm only human and Viridi would certainly agree with me on this.  But let me ask you this; have you ever been reincarnated as a human from your past life?  Have you ever wondered what happens in the minds of mere mortals such as myself as we go about our daily lives, not knowing whether or not we survive the next day?  If so, then you might want to look deep inside yourself when you next fight in this place.  I do believe that your goddess that you serve told you to take fighting me seriously, you will now learn why." Tuxedo Mask added, jumping off of the Upperdash Arm, and landing on the ground, an aura immediately flaring up around Tuxedo Mask, the transformation powers kicking in as Tuxedo Mask entered a state of Overdrive.

Tuxedo Mask's Transformation buffs are now activated!
For three turns unless hit with an attack that inflicts Fear, Disabled, or Sleep; Tuxedo Mask gets:
+1to STR, DEX, and CHA modifiers
immunity to Charmed, Poison, Paralysis, and Berserk status ailments
Damage reduction against Darkness attribute moves of any kind
x1.5% multiplier on all attacks
Health Replenish if hit with an Earth attribute move of any kind

Tuxedo Mask would then begin launching his assault with a ferocity never seen or heard of before, a ferocity that would tell Pit one thing: tough it out!

And the first thing that would be done is a souped up Yo-Yo Attack that was quite dangerous if Pit wasn't careful

Followed by a Cane Thrust

And then with a flick of the wrist, threw another rose to try and cut into the flightless angel with enough power behind it that those thorns will leave a gash in his shoulder.

And finally did a trick with the yo-yo, walking the dog!

	“Speaking of which, I am So loving what you’ve done with the Lunar Sanctum. It shines so charmlingly in the Li@Night sky~.” Palutena took her chance to compliment Arlon on his work. “I could only imagine how anime must feel for citizens of the Pokémon world.” She returned her attention to Viridi’s subject, whistling with a wince. “And speaking of moons and anime…”
Pit flinched at the sound of Arlon’s reprimanding. Shaking the lingering guilt off, he focused back on his enemy. Scanning the battlefield yielded no man nor tuxedo in sight. He knew that he missed, but where did that slippery suave go? Noticing his Upperdash Arm got heavier, Pit looked up to find Tuxedo Mask standing on it. Being the strong angel that he was, supporting his weight was no trouble. But to deny he was impressed with Tuxedo Mask’s ability to balance on the wheel would be to lie.
“Uh… huh. Never thought about that part of it before…” Pit scratched his chin with his free hand. “B-but I fight every day to maintain the balance between the Underworld, Overworld, and Skyworld just to make sure souls like yours Can safely reincarnate into the next life!” Pit reminded Tuxedo Mask of his purpose.
“In fact, I-Uh oh… I’ve seen this before… You’re… You’re…!” The subject changed immediately as the aura began flaring up around Tuxedo’s Mask. The color! The Style! The Newfound Combat Utility! It could only mean… “You’re Summoning Your Persona!” Pit gasped accusingly. He was a Phantom Thief of Heart all along! That explained everything! But did it explain the beatdown Pit was in for?
“Lady Palutena, how do I-?” He searched up to the sky only to spy her shrugging back down at him, shaking her head with locked lips. “…Oh yeah. Solo.” He reminded himself with a nervous gulp.
(NYNcAfVup_1d20+3 Pit's Dodge of Devastating Yo-Yo Attack; Failure. Takes 30% Damage) That Yoyo was way mo agro than befo, yo! (p_1d20+3 Pit's Dodge of Piss poor Cane Thrust; Success!) At least the cane was still lame. And then here came that deadly Rose Lady Palutena warned him about! He had used a big version of that as a weapon too…But it was still in his cache back in Skyloft! So, he pulled out the next best thing: his Guardian Orbitars, which he used to create a shielding barrier for himself. (p_1d20+2 Pit's Guardian Orbitars @ Absurdly powerful Rose Throw; Failure. Orbitars take 15% Damage.)
But instead of bouncing back toward its sender, it stuck itself right into the shield force field like an arrow. Cracking it, even! “By any other name…” Pit panted in recoil, looking up to find Tuxedo Mask ‘walking the dog’ with his yoyo, much to the crowd’s delight.
“That’s actually pretty cool-Snap out of it Pit!” Pit slapped himself and shook himself out of his distraction. “I’ve got something cool to show you too. In fact, it’ll cool you right off!” Pit gloated, replacing his Upperdash Arm with the Poseidon Cannon. “Sorry in advice by the way. It really was a nice suit.” He apologized with sincerity before open firing like an Isle Delfino fireman.

Does 12% extra damage) Using the torrent of water to blow Tuxedo Mask off his feet and occupy him, Pit slipped his Beam Claws on, one at a time, as he closed the gap. With his mini light sabers secured to his knuckles he slid in and slashed at the hopefully wet protector of earth. Tuxedo Mask was in his element, despite the burn as he took advantage of his opponents reliance on using his various weapons to make mental notes on which Sailor Senshi would be capable of utilizing which weapon.

He would then try to dodge the beam claws...  And did marginally better than last time in dodging the attacks but still got hit regardless.

"You make a better guardian than a memester, I'll give you that." Tuxedo Mask would say as a compliment to Pit's combat capacity, a smile forming on his face.  "But reincarnation in your world is different from reincarnation in my world." he added bluntly, hinting the nature of his world's biggest well kept secret.

Tuxedo Mask would then close the gap and attempt to strike Pit with the Sword of Endymion...  Which would certainly be painful if Pit was not on guard.
STR ROLL A: p_1d20+2=21(Ominously Powerful Sword of Endymion @ Pit, 36% dmg if it connects, 3% recoil dmg taken)

Then attempt to smack Pit with the blade again...  The attack would be less powerful, but it was no less dangerous as the last one!

Then would bop Pit in the gut at point blank range by swapping his sword with the cane...  It was a bad attempt and Pit could easily Spot Dodge if he didn't notice it in time

Tuxedo Mask would then bow to pit, as though he were a worthy opponent...
