Peach sat down on top of a ruined car sitting atop a damaged highway that was slanting at a 25 degree angle, sighing in relief. “Well, we're here... I do wish that I could simply fly the places I need to go. My poor feet...” Peach lamely whined, taking a load off her feat for a while. This whole adventuring business really didn't agree with her pampered feet. “I do hope the others find their way here okay. I did list this as the date...” Peach softly mused aloud. “This place looks like something awful happened here...” Perry remarked. “Mmmh... Yes. I wonder what world it belongs to...” Peach softly replied. “I bet it's one with lots of cars in it!” Perry exclaimed. “Hmm... You may be correct, Perry.” Peach thoughtfully replied, none too eager to point out the obvious.

A few moments later, a star child fluttered down from the sky to speak to her!

“Princess! I found one of the stars! It's on top of one of the skyscrapers here! --Wait, why are you looking at me like that?”

Peach paused a moment. She was giving Twink a look like he'd just tread dirt on her carpet, having let some of her undue frustration slip into her expression. “--Oh... I do apologize. My feet are just sore having come all this way. I'm not upset at you, Twink.” she lamented

“That's okay. There was a man there who tried to capture me in a jar when I approached to ask him what was up. He seemed a little mean...”

[Amitwo, Doppelganger Amitie]

Floating down from the sky like a ghost on the wind, Amitwo appeared. “Hi Princess Peach~!” she eagerly greeted, moving to throw her arms around Peach in a hug that the princess couldn't even really feel due to Amitwo's complete lack of even the barest physical strength. “I came here to help you collect stuff and blast some bad guys away! They're probably going to show up to try and stop us, right~?” she remarked, releasing Peach and flashing a wide, toothy smile. It took Amitwo a few moments to process Twink's presence.

“...Oh cool, a star! You must be who we're here to collect!!”

Shantae would arrive on the back of Sky's giant pet war bird, Wrench, upon spotting Princess Peach, she would jump off and freefall to the ground, landing on the ground with both her feet and hands, thankfully she would stand up gingerly to test her feet to see if she sprained them from the impact.

"Finally made it, I guess I should wait until the others arrive. Hello; Princess Peach, Amitwo." Shantae would greet as she walked over to the two, her purple hair in her signature ponytail and her eyes looking at the structure ahead of them. "This place kinda looks like something from one of my uncle's post-apocalyptic themed manga." she added calmly, noting that Uncle Mimic would be someone who would explore this place to collect stuff to attempt to help her, but the last time this happened it wound up nearly resulting in Nega Shantae wreaking havok once again.

At least this time he was not allowed to come with Shantae since she would be with some friends that would be able to help her out if she was in danger.

There was a crash from back the way the others came, a slightly embarrassed Vessel awkwardly staring at a car door that fell off when they tried to climb onto it. Afterwards the Vessel turned to the sound of people talking, perking up a bit as they caught sight of the group, happily running over to the others, glancing between them and then to the little star floating in the air, their head tilting a little bit. as they wrote and pointed to the star.

Is that them? That seems kind of fast

"Oh, there you all are" Rosalina's calm voice called out above them, the mama of the luma's gracefully floating down from the air to lightly land right beside peach with the small tap of her shoes on the asphalt. She looked to Peach and smiled very slightly before looking to the star child. It looked an awful lot like a Luma, she thought, her face back to it's usual stoic expression.

"It looks like I might be a little late. I thought this might be a good opportunity to get out again after so long" She looked out over all the wrecked cars and buildings "Even if it isn't the most welcoming of places" Despite her expression and her surroundings, she was just happy to be able to go out and do something with Peach again.

"W-whoaaaaaaaa! Further behind the Blue Vessel, Sea Draco was currently tripping over a piece of scrap metal. The dragon faceplanting into the concrete with a small thud before she began to get back to her feet so she could catch up with the rest of the group. "S-sorry I'm late! I got... well, you all saw..."

Sea Draco's face had flushed a bit as she began scratching the back of her head. Her eyes scanning to horizon, looking over each building. It was... kinda horrifying. Seeing all of these destroyed buildings, it made her heart race. What on earth could do this to such a massive place... was it still around? Was it infected? W-was it hungry?

The water dragon shook her head as she pushed those thoughts out of her head. She needed to focus on finding that Power Star. That was her job! No need to worry about anything else, especially getting eaten by some unknown horror!

...this was gonna be a long mission...

“--Don't worry! I've got him!!” Amitwo blurted out. She then promptly rushed Twink and began attempting to grab and hold him. She seemed to forget that she could do no such thing. Her body was not solid enough nor did it have the weight to exert the pressure needed to 'hold' anything. So she mostly just wound up circling Twink and sorta fake wrestling with him, trying to get him to stay in her hands.

“--Wait, what??”

Twink promptl panicked and began dancing around in the air in circles around Amitwo as she chased him, attempting to grab him. “Quit it! Stooop! What're you--?” Twink whined, easily pulling free and seeming to tear at Amitwo's skin with his squirming each time she grabbed him, though this was superficial and she almost immediatley 'healed'.

“Um--...No. Amitwo? Please do not chase Twink! He has been working hard to help us~” Peach called out to get Amitwo to stop chasing the poor star child. “This is Twink. He is... a friend. From Star Haven. Power stars do not talk~” Peach apologetically explained. “I do believe that he has discovered the location of two power stars in the area, though. Twink, would you please lead the way..?” Peach explained and asked.

“...Sure thing, Princess! Follow me.”

Twink shot off into the sky, easily visible against the dark sky since he had a glow to him. He was leading them down the highway, which seemed a little unstable, dipping and twisting along certain parts where support had partially given out. It was also lined with at least 30 cars on the way to Twink, who patiently waited for the others to catch up.

“C'mon! It's not that far from here.”

"I never saw talking stars before..." Shantae would say as she eyed Twink curiously, at least Princess Peach gave them reassurance that Twink wasn't a Power Star, so that was a good thing.

"I'm Ret-2-go, Princess Peach." Shantae said happily, following the Star child, and keeping her eyes on where she was going. Luckily she had some of her items on hand as a just in case should things be a little problematic.

Sea Draco had decided to remain quite for the most part as Amitwo chased Twink around. The dragon's feet gently shuffling against the concrete as she looked around. Her attention getting drawn back to Peach and the small star she'd said would be helping them. The sea green dragon rubbing the back of her head as she watched him fly off further down the road.

"So... what can these Power Stars do, anyway? I... kinda missed that part..." Sea Draco replied sheepishly as she followed after Twink. Her eyes looking over to Peach, she was the leader of this mission after all.

As the party made it's way up the street, Sea Draco began idly checking the cars they were passing by. The dragon trying to keep her mind off the destroyed buildings that surrounded them. Although, searching through the burnt and broken wreckage of the vehicles didn't help her much. What happened here? The Starvia had done a ton of damage to world from what she'd heard. But nothing looked quite like this place, it was almost like it was destroyed before it came to Li...

Sea Draco shook her head again. Now was not the time to think on that. She needed to focus on the mission and finding parts! Now was definetly not the time to think about what unspeakable horror could have caused all of this devastation!

...Sea Draco was shaking even harder now.

The little blue vessel ran after Amitwo and Twink, a bit of a smile on their face as they try their best to help catch the star. The Vessel paused as Peach spoke, looking to the ground a little embarrassed and giving an understanding nod. They turned their head back up to watch Twink as they started to fly off, the light little bug starting to hop along the high-way a bit recklessly, crawling up onto some of the cars and hopping between them.

Most of their attention focused on looking over the road and glancing over the sides to search for anything resembling cellphone parts from their very brief look at one. Every couple of moments they would look up at the others and grin to Sea Draco between big hops over cars, seemingly unphased by the destruction around them.

Rosalina smiled slightly to herself as she watched the two others chasing after Twink, drifting over to float beside peach until Amitwo grabbed Twink, brow furrowing slightly in concern as she watched the young girl's arms dissipating away, only to watch them form back together again only a few moments later.

As Peach spoke the worry was still on her face, turning to listen to her explain everything for them. Her eyes followed Twink as they floated off up the Road, Rosalina floating over beside Amitwo and kneeling down a bit, her feet tapping onto the pavement as she stopped floating. She gave a slightly reassuring smile, reaching out and trying to lightly rest a hand on Amitwo's back. "Are you alright?"

Rosalina! You find it... impossible to really 'rest' your hand on Amitwo without the simple weight of your hand pushing her down. She doesn't actually seemed to be too bothered by it though, turning about to face her. She had a very pretty smile, full of energy and positivity. “...I'm okay! I can't feel pain or anything. Ehehehe~ Thank you Misses Rosalina.” Amitwo replied, giggling with appreciation. She may not have been able to feel pain, physically at least, but she definitely appreciated being treated like a normal person for a moment there. “Not being a real person isn't all bad!” Amitwo continued on.

“--We're using the power stars to bring power back to my castle and Rosalina's observatory! With more power, we can expand the starvia shield around the castle and turn a larger area into farm land.” Peach replied. “We're going to save the world with vegi-tables!” Perry announced, clumsily mispronouncing vegetables.

The princess then began leading the way to follow Twink at a fairly relaxed pace. They weren't in such a rush that strenuous activity was necessary. As Twink lead them toward the building in question, a problem quickly became apparent. There was no... way to reach the skyscraper on foot.  It was surrounded by a sea of lava, and a good 40 foot drop from the raised highway they were standing on. Peach observed this for a moment, sort of debating how to get over. 

“--Everyone..! I think I can levitate you down to the building with the power star in it. I do believe I should be able to get us out as well. I would like you all to follow me to the top.” Peach exclaimed, calling upon the power of a joyful vibe to summon a twister underneath the party! She knew some of them could probably fly, but that was no excuse not to offer them safe passage. The miniature twisters lifted them up and began bringing them over to the rooftop.

On the roof, an entire set up complete with a telescope, a functional laptop, a sleeping bag, and other living essentials were laid out. Someone had been staying here.

“This is where that bad man was keeping me. I bet he's still around here somewhere...”

Shantae would think about things while doing a bit of looking, the Half-Genie was not just looking for cellphone parts...  Probably looking for one that was completely in one piece, one that could be easier to repair.

Once she found what she was looking for, she would follow Princess Peach and the others down to the top of a building that Princess Peach would use her magic to help everyone float down to the location, where Shantae would float down there as well, she didn't know more about Love Magic, but when she landed, she would walk over to the laptop and carefully close it, just leaving it open a bit without causing it to auto shut down if it closed completely.1d20+1
