[Doctor Ciel]

With a flash, Ciel and her defacto creation and daughter figure Roll abruptly warped into the arena. They looked around in confusion, Ciel furrowing her brows.

“ It looks like someone intercepted our transmission and redirected us to Sunshine Stadium... But why? ”

“Isn't this where people like, fight all the time for sports?” Roll asked in confusion.

“ That's right. You didn't recognize it? ”

“Well, nnno... I was never really into sports. It sounded kind of like a 'boy thing'?” Roll replied, sounding unsure of herself.

“ ...You might be surprised. Some of the stadium's best fighters are girls. But anyways, there's a good chance whoever sent us here did so because they wanted to see us fight. I don't know why, but the fact that we're on the stadium floor says enough. ”

“--I don't wanna get my butt kicked!” Roll whined in annoyance. It sounded like a great way to get dirty. ...And hurt.

“ Language. We're on television... ”

“Sorry Mom...” Roll softly replied.

Suddenly being warped to the arena threw Blues off his usual rhythm as a red beam of light that was Protoman set foot on the ground before him. He gazed onward to see a strange gate right in front of him as it started to open right up. A shocked expression overtook his features as right there in front of him was Ciel and Roll. Well the Roll that he called Cienna at least.

Pacing toward the two he looked around as the crowd would cheer like they were ready for a fight. Whistling a melancholy tune like he usually did as he would pace into the arena he would stop then look over to the combatants. "Well this is an unexpected turn of events. I would not have guessed ever that I would be facing you two. It is good to see you both again." Protoman said as he gave a thumbs up, his features more calm now.

This meant he was going to fight his sister and Ciel instead of protecting them like he had tried to do before when he first met them. It was not exactly a good time really since he nearly died after the fight with Omega. Looking back on it now maybe trying to blow himself up on that thing wasn't the smartest thing to do. But that was then this is now! "Not sure why people would want to see us fight but I will try not to hold back, even for family." Blues smiled as he readied himself.

[Doctor Ciel]

Ciel's expression fell slightly as one of her own works presented themselves as her opponent. There was a familiar distress at having something she had built rise against her, and the knowledge that they would be hurt by their choices.

“ Oh, okay... I suppose that there is value in a practical test of your systems to make sure they're all operating within an expected range. Just... be careful with Roll, alright? She wasn't designed for combat like you and Mega were. She's not... as strong as you boys. At least, not in the same ways. ”

You could sort of 'hear the mild distress in Ciel's tone and see it on her face as she discussed Roll's limitations. She was burdened with the knowledge, being intimately familiar with Protoman's design. An ancient arguably sexist choice that had resulted in Mega and apparently Protoman getting enhanced combat abilities and Roll being left alone, designed for house work. It had been difficult for her to make the choice to preserve Roll's original design, instead of attempting to overhaul it and get rid of these dated ideas and values. However, it hadn't been her choice to make. This Roll had never asked her to try. 

...Ciel produced Model Z, and with a deep breath, called out! "Megamerge!!"

One Magical Girl Transformation Sequence Later...

“ ...Then again, neither was I. I'm still working on figuring out the true potential of live metal, but I think I'm getting close! Get ready, because here I come! ”

((...Let's say deal 190% damage between Ciel and Roll to win and Ciel and Roll share actions per turn to even things back out.))

Ciel announced her intentions openly so that Protoman wouldn't be caught off guard. She then dashed forward and drew a recoil rod, attempting to slam the weapon into Protoman's gut with enough force to send him flying a good ten feet backward!

She then spun around, a flurry of blonde hair whipping about as she leapt into the air, putting away her recoil rod and drawing her Z-saber, attempting to drop onto Protoman wish a crushing Z-saber strike!

She then lurched from a crouching position, lunging forward a second time and pulling back her fist as if to punch Protoman! However. Rather than punch him directly she instead landed nearby and struck the ground with immense force, causing the stadium to tremble ever so slightly with the phantom force of Omega's slaughter there. The explosion and debris that followed, however, was smaller and more contained, such that it only threatened Protoman rather than consuming the entire stadium.

[DLN-002-02 Roll Light]

Roll was... slightly disappointed hearing what Ciel was saying about her. She knew it was true of course. She'd been there when Mega had been explicitly upgraded to go stop Wily, and she'd simply never been given those upgrades. But still! It had only just occured to her to feel inadequate about that. More importantly though, were they fighting Big Brother?! ...She wasn't sure she liked that idea, but she knew Mega had done this several times. Swallowing her anxiety, she crouched down and reached into her skirt, pulling out a red arm cannon!

...Yeah, that was another one of Light's original design decisions that got kept around. She didn't have one of those built-in, y'know! She slipped it onto her arm and clicked it into place, only to squeak and wobble where she stood as Ciel went about showing off what she'd learned, eliciting a blush from Roll who sorta spaced out and watched her mother go to work on Protoman from a distance. “Woah...”

Protoman was no fool as he did know the limitations of his younger sister Roll. Her design was simple but was loosely based on his own design. Problem was since he was the template for a newer robot masters he had to prove that the original was just as strong. That was not the case for Roll however. Designed all for house work and chores, Roll had been the one that he would often try to keep out of the fighting, not because he thought less of his younger sister but because her design limited her capabilities for actual combat. This Roll was seemingly not much different than the one he knew of but had produced an arm cannon which threw him off a little. But what really threw him off was that Ciel also had a biometal like Grey did when he first encountered him for the mission he was set on doing for taking care of Omega.

Ciel took the form of Zero right in front of him. She made it known she was about to attack him right then and there with little to no mercy as a bit of a test to see how her work on him had paid off. Thing was Blues did not have much memory of what happened after he was trophied and pretty much turned to scrap. The memories were fuzzy in a way as he did remember hearing Ciel and Cienna's voice as he was being rebuilt but not much else. So Ciel telling him how she was the one to do so sparked that memory more. This would at first want him to go easy on the two since they were pretty much responsible for him living once more. Though as Ciel charged right at him with the recoil rod that would automatically put him back into a defensive stance.

Ciel was not playing around it seemed as she made a mad dash to try and hit him with the recoil rod. He would attempt to dodge the blow.

Protoman would easily dodge out of the way of her first attack making it look easy as he did so. But it was not over yet as she got him unexpectedly with a Z-Saber Strike!

Struck suddenly he would feel a familiar pain come to his mind. This of course was a mental image of Omega striking him right in the center of his torso. It reminded him of that fight. "Gah!" he knew he did not feel pain of course but it was reactionary as if he knew what it felt like. Seeing Omega right in front of him suddenly right where Ciel used to be Blues was having a bad flashback that resonated like a hallucination that would drive him to going a little more serious now.

As Ciel leaned in and moved to strike him with an all too familiar move by striking the ground it was like fighting Omega all over again. This move seemed like it would be too hard to dodge but he would try anyway.

Protoman escapes without any extra damage. She was still not done? "Well crud." he would say as he moved his shield in front of his face to absorb the blow of the Z-Saber this time. This time the damage was absorbed by his Proto-Shield and the 24% that would have hit Protoman had filled up his E-Tank instead. 

"Well I certainly under-estimated you. While I can understand wanting to go easy on Cienna I might have to actually amp things up against you Ciel." 

Taking a stance at the ready he would move his Proto-Buster and aim it at Ciel. 

Instead of testing the waters for Ciel like he had originally planned he would move to fire a shots of his Proto-Buster right at her.

Every single shot looked like it might miss but they would each do 8% damage if they hit.

Next he would move to fire a Charge Shot at Ciel but before doing so would load up his E-Tank into his Proto-Buster for some extra damage if the attack hit. ProtoMan puts in 18% of the E-Tank into the Proto-Buster to increase the damage of this attack from 22% to 40% damage total leaving 6% E-Tank charge left.

Protoman would then try to recover his self from her attacks and would stand there with his shield at the ready. "Well I'm not about to give up yet." he said as he took his defensive stance once more.

Ciel was shot twice, recoiling slightly as she was hit, one side of her body steaming from the contact with that extra large burst of plasma. She was briefly frightened, but with a roll of her shoulder observed that her body had withstood the attack.

“ ...From what I've been able to dig up, it seems like boys did most of the fighting back in the 21st century. And while I understand why, I don't have a boyfriend, so I guess it falls on me to be strong to protect my family. ...Like 'Cinnaroll'. ”

Ciel produced a staff with a twirl of her arms, one side of the staff adorned with a plasma spear resembling her Z-saber. She then attempted to rapidly poke Protoman with it several times in quick succession!

Have you ever just been hanging out with your saintly nice mother who just wants to shower you with love and care when suddenly she turns into an action movie hero and starts beating people up to protect you? Yeah, that's about where Roll is right now. She's just kind of standing there with a nice big blush on her face, attempting to process this duality. She was somewhere between being intimidated because her Mom was secretly immensely stronger than she let on, and a surge of appreciation for how awesome she thought her creator was. Neither leant themselves to fighting well. She mostly just wanted to find out if being hugged by those biometal enhanced arms felt any different right about now.

However, after a long moment of just kinda admiring Ciel work, staring like a dork, she eventually regained her composure and promptly remembered she was supposed to help. “I-I can fight too, a-actually!” Roll nervously stammered out, still quite flustered by the show Ciel was putting on, rushing forward with steps she was suddenly no longer sure of and taking a few shaky-handed swings at Protoman with her broom.

The 21st century huh? Yeah things were definitely different back then for sure. Ciel was correct of course as the boys were technically supposed to protect girls back then. It was a bit of bad state of affairs as most females were assumed weak so that's why the good Doctor Light had Roll be made for house chores and such. Ciel didn't have a boyfriend? Huh. Well that was certainly a surprise. With her technological know-how and looks she could have easily nabbed someone like that, but that was neither here nor there. Right now he would need to remain focused. The triple rod was being used on him once again so Blues would find it needed to dodge as best as he could.

Blues dodged the first swing as it rushed nearby his torso but missed completely.

He would land a little backward from where he would take notice of Ciel rushing at him with a flurry of kicks. Not much time to react Protoman held up his trusty Bubble Shield to protect himself from her attack.

But before Blues could relax Cienna had gone on the offensive as well. Something he didn't expect right away as she was a bit in a daze before now.

Hopping out of the way of her attack he would realize that he would need to get serious soon. "Not bad Cienna I see you have gotten better at defending yourself. Though I do like the name Ciel gave you too. Cinnaroll sounds nice as well. Which one do you like better?" He would ask her after dodging the attack. His brotherly programming got him thinking of names for his other sister again.

But now it was time for Protoman to go on the offense. Protoman would power up for normal Charge Shot against Ciel.

“...Why are we giving me a new name again?” Roll hesitantly asked, a little bit flustered by the idea of having her name changed. She liked her name! It made her feel good and comfortable when people addressed her by such! She thought about it for a moment. “...Am I named after food..? I guess you can call me Cinnamon Roll, or Cinna Roll, if it makes you happy.” Roll hesitantly relented, her desire to please decidedly weighing a bit more than her desire to preserve her identity. It did sound kinda cute, in a homely sort of way. And it had her name in it! Which made it sound less alien to her.

A few moments later though, Roll cried out as she was struck, sent flying head over heels a good twenty feet through the air. She landed nearby, battered and shaken, but managed to get back up. Fighting hurt more now that she had emotions... Readying the arm cannon she'd retrieved from underneath her skirt.

...Was she not supposed to feel this way?

Roll brandished the buster arm and took a shot at Protoman. “...I'm fine, big brother!!” Roll replied in a half-hearted attempt to sound competitive.

Ciel skidded along the ground a bit as she was blasted back by the charge shot, catching herself and lightly tossing her ponytail out of the way as she got back up,  wobbling slightly in a mildly undsteady manner but using her hips to catch her balance, steadying herself as she rose back to a fighting stance.

“ ...A little bit more? Alright. Last time I pushed my body this hard,  I couldn't walk afterwards. Hope you're ready, Protoman!! ”

Without further ado, Ciel produced Model X and proceeded to double megamerge! Cue the magical girl transformation sequence. When she was finished, she looked to be somewhere between Model X and Model Z. She then lurched forward and abruptly vanished into thin air!

A moment later, she re-appeared above Protoman, dropping down and striking the ground with explosive fury, such that it shattered violently and sent debris flying at Protoman along with the explosion itself!
