Yo! I'm planning new Terraria missions. Which is basically where we send our characters into the world of Terraria with certain challenges/restrictions in place. Expect scheduled play times, the game being divided up into multiple missions if you want to beat it and a silly premise, most likely some sort of virtual simulation. Since we've already had one of these before, I'll be open to getting more creative with the new one. Or we could just try it again with new characters and see where things go!

Option 1: Base Terraria
We can just play the base vanilla game again! This could be fun if we do it with new/different characters. Goals will involve completing certain milestones within the game without dying too many times.

Option 2: Expert Mode
Not to be confused with hard mode, which is just a part of the base game, Expert Mode is stupidly difficult and there's a good chance it will result in mission failure. Rina and I tried this, but didn't get anywhere.

Option 3: Thorium Mod
New bosses, new items, new enemies, new biomes, new classes. Enough said right?

Option 4: Calamity Mod
Similar to the Thorium Mod. This mod also stresses an increased difficulty over the base game.


Of course, multiple options are available. There's no reason I can't play the base game with Team A and a mod with Team B or any of that stuff. And there's no reason I can't play with specific people or smaller groups! Reply here in this thread expressing your interest and which options you're interested in. Note that you don't need to download anything right now. We will be using tmodloader for any mod play, which will automatically handle all of that noise.

I am still learning... Still not sure how to build a house so I'm probably not going to be good at challenges yet but... I am pretty interested in both options 1 and 3. A because well... noobish and C because I like the sounds of the added things in the mod plus probably more of a chance than Calamity Mod. Now, I need to finish figuring out how to build a house before the Demon Eyes kill me... again.  I'm not doing things important a lot of the time anyway so schedule should not be a big hassle... I think.

My interest is certainly here to be known! I absolutely loved the first Terraria RP, and the hilarious shennanigans we had there.

As far as the options, Im leaning more for either 3 or 1. Just for the sheer fact that new stuff we can interact with and do as opposed to the first playthrough, And a normal playthrough could help Cool get more adjusted to terraria.


The only thing that got me hung it is the actual intricacies of Terraria modding in multiplayer. May need a hand-hold walkthrough there to get it working |D

I was interested in the first and second Terraria missions, but I didn't have Terraria at the time. Now I do, and while I'm not quite sure how my internet might hold up, not to mention my scheduling, but definitely count me as interested

I'd love to give Option 3 a shot, actually! I've done Option 1 for the whole trilogy and the entire journey was actually my very first time beating the final boss. If it's possible, a New Game+ kind of run with Schezo's old sim data would be some fun shenanigans.

Honestly, I could go with both Option 1 and 3. I'm definitely in the mood for some more Terraria shenanigans, though with work being part of my schedule now... weekend sessions would be just fine, it's just mid-of-the-week that I'm worried about. But yeah, count me in if you wanna do it again!

Hm. Alright! Due to apparent schedule conflicts, I think what I'm going to do is ask you all for your schedules HERE and make multiple missions to accommodate people's availability. I'll probably throw up the missions in a week, or whenever I get all the answers in. Whichever comes first.

What I will be doing is basically picking a time a group is all available, sending out reminders and then playing for however long people are up for it.

As with last time, once one person decides it's time to go major progress (Bosses and such) will halt until we get back together. RP and minor stuff will be allowed to continue, however. And you will be allowed to miss 1 or 2 sessions without being removed from the mission.



Also, if you want to team up with specific characters of mine for this adventure, this is a decent time to do it! I'll be the only consistent member between each group, so if you're the type that likes pairing characters together with friends we can start there.

Day of the Weeks:I am free almost every day of the week, the only mixup on that being days I have to go to appointments, which is only about an hour so nothing major. The only real consistency being Thursdays from 3 to 6, but some weeks that does not exist so ask me ahead of time I suppose

Time of Day: Anytime past noon I am usuually awake and ready to do things for the rest of the day until 2 AM.

Timezone: EST time.

Characterwise I would not mind an Amitwo since I plan to main Amithree for this.

Most days after 4 I'm free, but I also have a university course to balance, so I need time for schoolwork as well. That being said, usually Monday and Tuesday are the best days to do this stuff on. Thursdays I usually have a D&D group that meets at 7:30 to 10:00. Saturdays are usually reserved for homework, and Sundays are a no-go. Wednesdays and Fridays could work, but it depends on the week

Time available: Any time after 4, but preferred after 7

As for characters, I have no preference. I'm planning on bringing Shulk, so there aren't any connections that I can think of offhand

What days of the week you are available: I'll be out of classes hell in time, so the week will be opened up. I can take on most weekdays, Mon.-Thurs. Fri.-Sun. is reserved for my time in Eorzea as I'm quite involved in RP there too.
What times of day you are available on these days: 4 PM to 11 PM. 7 PM is prime time for me.
Your time zone: PST

Any of my characters are open to use, though Ringo might have priority since she previously tested an Expert mission, but got shelved up due to schedule conflicts.

What times of day you are available on these days: Safe bet for Friday is around 8 or 9 PM, I can sacrifice my sleep schedule without much repercussions there. Saturday I'm available all day and Sunday too, though night sessions are better off starting at 6 or 7 PM.

I've no characters that I'm interested in interacting with, actually? I'm going in with people I (mostly) haven't used in Terraria missions yet, like Ryu and Greninja, so...

Kind of hard to tell. My schedule tends to fluctuate like crazy,  So, there's no days of the week in which im actively available, Except Friday, which i can *usually* get off. However, i do tend to have alot of days off, Just none that are the same as the previous week |D

Sooo, the difficult part of this is, again, Work schedules fluctuate.  But, Thankfully, my schedule is reaching a point where im only working about 5 to 3 hour shifts, around 3PM-6PM, or at worse, 4-9. Im off the 17th, 21st, 25th, 26th, 27th and the 28th, and on the 24th is 3pm to 6:30pm. I can give a more in depth schedule for 29th to the 4th come the 18th.
