Captain Falcon didn’t have much else to add to Tomoko’s investigation. All things considered, the theories checked out, not that he could disprove anything said, Tomoko was the closest they had to an expert on whatever was going on. His face quirked at the mention of the wind. “Voices?” he added curiously. “Yeah, I’ve been hearing these weird wisps in the air, almost nonstop since we got here… I don’t know what they’re saying though” he shrugged.
“Of course! If they’re warning us about anything, it must be that monster that our little friend found! It’s the only possible threat we’ve seen in this desert so far!” he exclaimed as he looked down the hole that he punched into the earth a mere few minutes ago. Tomoko took the first plunge, though her tiny body would have little to no issue wriggling through the ‘morph ball sized’ tunnels. Gazing down at his own rippling physique though, Captain Falcon realized that he might have some troubles following along. The investigation permitted him to push forth though, so he had to try!
Diving in head first, the chief of police got snagged immediately. His shoulder width was far too great to permit him passage through anywhere outside the immediate entrance, leaving the lower half of his half emerged from the surface like he was a defective missile that had just impacted against the ground. “Don’t worry, little bra! We’re coming to help you!” he proclaimed as he continued to squirm through the tunnel, inching his way further like a burrowing worm. There had to be a faster way. Wait! The missile analogy, that was it! He was essentially a human missile after all. Popping himself out of the hole and positioning his feet first this time around, he prepped himself for the greatest Falcon Kick he ever conjured.

“Falcon Kick!”
In the meantime, Little Arle did the sensible thing to do in a dark cavern and summoned her light magic to brighten the room. The tiny light source was more than enough to illuminate the entirety of the tomb-like structure, revealing more runes and paintings along the walls, however they were far better preserved than the ones on the surface. At least, the ones that hadn’t fallen victim to the creature’s tunnel. By the looks of it, the area was a sort of main hub area for his operation, as further denoted by sacks of loot stuffed in the corners of the room.
As the light emerged, the creature was repelled, stumbled further back than Arle had as he hid his eyes within his palms. “Gaaaah! Oh, forget kidnapping, that giggling’s going to make it seem so much worse! Oh, and with the light!” the creature reveled as it continued to rub its eyes furiously.
On cue, Captain Falcon came rocketing through the tunnels as his fiery feet widened the tunnel, chips of rock flying left and right. Assuming Tomoko couldn’t scurry out of the way in time, she would probably be caught in its wake and propelled forward as well. Once he reached the tomb area, he snapped onto his feet victoriously and immediately smashed his head against the ceiling. Luckily, he always wore a helmet. Correcting his posture to fit the room he was in, he immediately pointed at the arachnus. “Your extortions of bubbly laughs end here, you tickling fiend!”
The creature continued to back away slowly, his hands raising to push at the air in front of him. “Eh, look I don’t want no trouble” the creature stated cautiously, though was very clearly shifty eyed.
“Ah ha! A double negative! So you do want trouble!” Captain Falcon rebutted with a snap of his fingers. While his facial expression displayed confidence in his findings, it soon dwindled as he realized something, bring him back to a state of confusion. “Wait, you speak English?”
“What? Of course I speak English! You can’t get very far in the Black Market if you can’t speak some common language” the creature stated as it took a cautious defensive stance.
Captain Falcon’s face only continued to contort in confusion as he dwelled on the creature ability to speak. He then pointed to his own mouth, circling it with his finger as he asked “But your mouth, how…”
“It ain’t easy” it lamented with a click of its three-pronged mandibles. The creature shook his head and then returned his gaze to Little Arle. “I don’t know where the other kid is” the creature answered as he looked back to the whole group, in a desperate attempt to get the attention of the room off of him. “He went through that door” he added as his body turned toward the wall behind him and pointing to it, his head not following completely so he could keep an eye on the group. “But there was this big winged creature chasing after him, it appeared from a portal of some kind. After they went through that passage way it was sealed shut.” Upon closer inspection of the door, there was a little input device located next to it. It looked like the storage space for a rather large ball, a perfect fit for a certain bounty hunter’s morph ball.
During their conversation, the little wisps of wind that surrounded Captain Falcon were also orbiting the creature. Instead of “desecrator” though the one surrounding the arachnus was saying the word for “thief.”1d20+3
