"The egg's opening...Wait a minute...Is that a gun?"
"ROSALYN NO!"
"Sunny!?"
"ARGHHH!"
"Oh my god...No!"
Rosalyn was thinking back about the events that happened ten minutes ago. When her, Pippi, Sunny and a friend of there's investigated a strange looking egg in Rainbow Sqaure. While the four did manage to get the egg open and find out that it belonged to Shizuka, who was in a new location...Something, bad happened to Sunny after Shizuka tried to warn the group about something. And now, her life was on the line.
Rosalyn and Pippi managed to get back to the tree barn once the egg was dealt with thanks to Parry flying them there with his high speed flight ability's, and got some plant doctors to do an emergency operation on Sunny. While the two were waiting outside one of the stables which served as a plant hospital. Rosalyn and Pippi looked at each other with the former trying her best not to go in a state of shock. "This...This is my fault. We shouldn't of investigated that egg, we should of let a professional do it." Rosalyn had the sound of guilt on her voice. Pippi walked over and hugged Rosalyn's leg, since you know, he's very small compared to her tall height.
"Rosie, don't blame yourself. Sunny threw herself in the way to save you. If she didn't then you could of been the one to have suffered the mercy of whatever hit Sunny and injected...That acid into her face." Pippi turned towards the entrance of the plant hospital, thinking about that needle that attacked the group. He...Never saw anything like it, despite all of his years of serving the dark arts and judging by Rosalyn thinking for awhile, she hasn't seen any type of acid like that either. It looked very new to her but she noticed that when it was going into Sunny's face, that it was purple, a colour that was associated with the Zombies.
Could the zombies have something to do with this? Have they captured Shizuka as well judging from the fact that she was related to the egg which fired out the needle?
A few hours past, and while Rosalyn had to go to tend to other plant and pinata needs. She soon returned just in time for a doctor, Doctor Bamboom, and his plant staff who were preforming the operation on Sunny, to come out of the stable to notice Rosalyn and Pippi waiting for them. While the staff left to rest after a few long hours, Bamboom was more then willing to answer questions to Rosalyn and Pippi. "Doctor Bamboom? How is she?" Rosalyn now sounded worried, not helped by Bamboom's sad expression, which Pippi soon took notice of.
"Judging by your sad expression, she's going to die?" Pippi brutally asked the doctor, who sighed and began to answer to give the results of the operation. "We did the best we could, if you admitted Sunny in with us later then before, the acid from that needle could of killed her." Doctor Bamboom explained. Rosalyn slightly perked up at the news that her close friend could still have survived the operation. "So, she's not dead?" Rosalyn hopefully replied. "Yes basically. If you can just follow me, you can come and see her." Bamboom turned as he, Rosalyn and Pippi entered the stable, where Sunny was lying on a hospital flower pot, recovering from her emergency operation. She soon began to wake up and turn towards Rosalyn, Pippi and Bamboom and slightly smiled at seeing her friends again.
"Goodness...Rosalyn...I'm glad...The acid didn't hurt you." Sunny sounded very weak, and judging by how her petals were slowly falling off her body, she wasn't doing well. "We did the best we could, but the acid is still from within her, without a proper cure or vaccine, her condition...Could become worse and eventually she'll..."
"She'll rot..." Rosalyn tried her best not to cry over the slow death of her best friend, wiping a tear as Pippi grabbed her hand, himself trying his best not to cry. He never...Never wanted to lose anyone close to him and if Rosalyn was the one that was hit with the acid, he didn't know what he would of done, Rosalyn walked over to Sunny and hugged the weakened sunflower. "Sunny, i'm going to fix this, you see, I'm not going to let you die." Rosalyn promised Sunny, the first plant that she ever met back in Suburbia and who became her first...Real friend in her life that wasn't a family member and who didn't judge her because of her love of gardening.
"Rosalyn, ever since we met...You changed, and if I die. I want you to go on and do great things, for the plants, pinatas, Shizuka, the life sphere...And this planet." Sunny delicately said to her close friend, who slightly sniffed. "Don't worry, I will. I will for everyone I care about, and i'm going to save you. If there's no cure for the acid yet...Then I just have to create one to save you and anyone who will ever be affected by it as well." Rosalyn promised her friend.
"AHEM!"
The trio soon turned to Bamboom, who was holding a piece of paper. He walked over to Rosalyn to give her said paper which she soon took and read. "This is what we got from the acid. It turns out that it is some form of weapon that the zombies used back in the war for Suburbia." The war...Rosalyn remembered that war, the mere mentions of that war and the many plant lives lost gave her chills to this very day. Reading the paper, she remembers seeing this acid being affected by one such plant solider during the war, the acid was call Plant Toxins and was known to slowly cause the victim of the acid to have there insides rot until they gave out, what made Rosalyn shocked was because of one thing.
Human's were immune to the effects of this acid, in fact it was even said that the acid can get rid of any diseased cells in the human body, so even if Rosalyn was hit by the acid, the only pain she would of got was, the needle stabbing her cheek, which meant...Sunny throwing herself to protect her was all for nothing. She was going to die because someone wanted her to suffer, but fortunately there was a cure to Plant Toxins, three in fact, one of which Rosalyn has.
"So, it's Plant Toxins...Hang on Doctor Bamboom, I got something that can help save Sunny." Rosalyn told the confused doctor as she ran out of the stable and towards the ladder in the middle of the barn, making a quick trip to her laboratory to get the cure that could save Sunny, which she labelled "Toxin's Away!" Upon arriving to her laboratory Rosalyn approached a small fridge in the corner of the room and opened it to find numerous vials of different colours, each labelled with there own names courtesy of Rosalyn's sense of humour.
The vials were as follows:
"Free from NIDS (TEST)"
"Hollotus 1, Friedman 0"
"The Aran Breakthrough"
"The U Cure"
"Aha there it is." Rosalyn reached for a pink looking vial which had the label "Toxin's Away!" which she discovered during her time in the Suburbia war. Her and a few other plants created it to stop the zombies toxic virus and each member of the research team was given a vial in hopes of spreading it so it can become a normal plant medicine. Rosalyn closed the fridge, walked over to a drawer and grabbed a needle before heading back down to the hospital stable.
Where she was rejected from using the cure on Sunny. "What do you mean you don't want me to inject this into your face, i'm literally holding something that's going to stop you from dying a slow and painful death!" Rosalyn sounded shocked but Sunny weakly refused because of a...Weak reason. "It's not magic. I like the magic cure, where someone magical casts a healing spell on me, like that Dia spell or a cure-all." Sunny soon began a coughing fit which lasted for five minutes, which she finished Rosalyn grumbled. "Sunny I don't like magic and for that, you should also hate magic as well, are you really going to let yourself die because the cure i'm providing you was hand made thanks to the wonders of science. Which to me...Is the one true magic of all." Rosalyn asked Sunny. "Yes." The girl soon turned towards Bamboom.
"Doctor Bamboom, surely as a doctor who has to use normal medicine on your patients, you don't believe this crap as well right?" She asked the doctor, who had trouble coming up with an answer, the longer he took, the more angry Rosalyn became. She sighed as she and Pippi left the stable. "If it helps, I believe what you believe Rosie. I always do because your so awesome and would do anything for you." Pippi smiled, Rosalyn just face palmed.
"I might as well furfill Sunny's request, or else the toxin is going to be so bad that neither a healing spell or Toxin's away is going to do anything to help her. We have to do the third cure and that's very hard to do, mostly because the cure itself is very hard to find and difficult to reach." Rosalyn opened her bag and proceeded to throw her needle and cure into it before closing it. "Pippi, I want you to go to Lightweather and ask a Nurse Joy for anything magical that we can distract Sunny with in case my trip to the Black Market doesn't go so well. I heard there's a certain store in the Black Market that sells magical medicine that i'm going to go to." Rosalyn revealed her plan, Pippi simply did a salute.
"Got it, good luck." Pippi nodded and soon left the barn as Rosalyn watched and sighed.
"Trust me...This is going to be one dumb trip to the Black Market, but it's all for Sunny and i'm not going to let her die, i'm also going to save you Shizuka...Wherever you are."
"ROSALYN NO!"
