A striking young lady wearing a very small portion of a set of armor sat waiting for aid to arrive. Her home-made laced-up blouse and red mini skirt sent a very different message. She had a natural beauty about her, but it was relatively unrefined. There was not a trace of makeup and the only perfume detectable on her person was the admittedly somewhat potent scent of curry powder. There was something far less easy to dismiss about her looks than a mere laid back approach to primping, though. She had a certain... dark aura about her. It all came down to the look on her face. Her gaze had a certain intensity to it, focused like a hawk yet somehow lifeless like she wasn't quite looking at anyone but rather gazing through them. Those eyes didn't belong on someone so young. They spoke of a terrible hardship, a trauma that haunted the bearer no matter how hard they fought. It might come to no surprise to those that recognized that damaged look that no smile accompanied it. She seemed pretty relaxed, though. In her lap, a humble doll of a strange, rabbit-esque creature rested in her embrace. She didn't look young enough to be carrying a doll around, but perhaps she had her reasons. She didn't seem to notice the others as they arrived and, of course, Princess Peach in particular was running a bit later than the others. Passerby acknowledged her, seeming to take interest in her. However, none approached her. She wasn't quite as personable as her celebrity counterpart, and many of them understandably found her general demeanor a bit off putting.

Shin!Arle So-Called Doppelganger Witness

Peach or Dark Peach as some had called her arrived a bit later than most members but she had still arrived before her more upbeat counterpart. The blonde gently held the koopaling in her arms a bit firmer since there were quite a few people around. She couldn't lose him and didn't plan to leave him on his own unless absolutely necessary. That and she just didn't trust a lot of people. Trusting was a dangerous thing at times. For this mission she needed to rely on at least a few individuals if not all of them. Her deep blue eyes looked over the slightly armored girl with the stuffed bunny...creature in her lap. Could this have been the person who had made this mission?

Neither the princess or the koopaling prompted to speak. There was too much going on at the moment and she wanted to listen first, speak later. Without being too open about it she began taking a gander at those who weren't super close by. There were people looking at her and then from her to someone else and back. She didn't want to turn around all of a sudden and give them the idea that she was intrigued in what they were looking at. The people of Li were so very strange but...Li was the closest thing to home she would have in a long while and that was not something she could help. Her thoughts were interrupted by a tiny yawn in a familiar tone that she knew too well.

"Mama P- I'm hungry," Bowser Jr. whined in a quiet voice. He was graced with a kind smile and a soothing voice to follow.

"Alright I will feed you in a minute. May we listen to what the girl has to say first?" She asked in the kindest voice she could muster. Bowser Jr. nodded with a tiny grunt to follow. The princess placed her cheek to his own and began nuzzling the creature. 

"Aaah! Mama P stop!" Although those were his words he was smiling and she knew he enjoyed it but she still reluctantly moved her face away from his own in order to give him space. The koopaling was awfully cute when he wanted to be.

Bowser Jr flew through the dark narrow streets of the Black Market, seated in his Clown Car. This place wasn't a place for a kid like him to be, that's for sure! But this is where that lady dressed in red wanted him to meet her, so here he was. 

Peering through the crowd of people going about their business, Bowser Jr spotted the same red lady that had issued the mission. And standing beside her was.....

"Mama?" Bowser Jr asked quietly. It was so long since he had seen Peach, he wanted to rush over there right away. But as he drew closer, Jr spotted something in Peach's arms. It was.....him?

Well, not quite. The figure in Peach's arms certainly looked like him, but he was covered from head to toe in pinkish metal. At first, Jr rather conceitedly thought it was just a statue of himself. But then it started talking.

Bowser Jr jumped out of his Clown Car and walked over to Peach, hardly glancing at Shin!Arle. "Mama, what are you doing here? Bowser Jr asked "and more importantly, who is that? Is it me? Why do you have him?" Well that was abrupt, Jr. Kind of rude too. It looked like he thought that Dark Peach was actually the Peach he knew. Isn't he in for a shock.

Dark Peach could see it in the girl's crimson eyes when they moved to meet hers. It was subtle, but by no means difficult to notice. They lit up with recognition and interest. You could see the faint hint of a smile briefly on her face. Just being around Dark Peach seemed to have evoked a positive reaction from her. Of course, this was quickly replaced with confusion as two baby koopas started begging for Dark Peach's attention. As unexpected as this was, it really wasn't all that odd to Shin!Arle. Not by Peach's standards, anyway. Having her show up with someone she was taking care of was... pretty standard affair, really! It was just the someone that came as a surprise. She didn't know this particular someone. " . . . Thanks for coming, Peach." Shin!Arle greeted, hesitantly tiptoeing around the confusion going on right now. "The building we need to get into is just a bit down the street. We can head over as soon as you're ready." she explained rather briefly, not wanting to get in the way of what appeared to be some ... family drama going on? Heck if she knew.

"Judging by the guard, we should be expecting a fight. It's really important that we don't let them run or sound any alarms though. There's no telling how they got those trophies in there without anyone noticing. My guess is that there's a risk of them getting the trophies out without us noticing too. But if we take down everyone we come across without alerting them, they won't get a chance."

Dark Peach looked from the Bowser Jr. in her arms to the Bowser Jr. who had come up to her. They were both incredibly cute and seeing him as what he used to look like was somehow like rubbing honey and salt into the wounds in her heart all at the same time. The princess bent over with a motherly smile. Her eyes were as bright as her smile, perhaps brighter. "Ahuhu this is my precious child...you," she answered the other Bowser Jr. while the one in her arms only gaped at seeing himself. It was almost like looking in a mirror...if he wasn't covered head to toe in rose gold metal. 

"B-but I'm the only Bowser Jr.," he exclaimed in a pouting fashion. Through her coddling and constant motherly affection it was a given that her Bowser Jr. would be very attached and possibly jealous should another him come along. 

"Well according to what we have here you are not dear." Dark Peach moved her arm forward to get more of it up so she could use her fingers to brush some strands of blonde hair from over her shoulder. They tickled her bare skin when they slid against the front but it wasn't all that noticeable in the back. The 'Dark' princess nodded in the direction of the armored lady who had summoned the lot of them. "Thank you for having me."

Bowser Jr. was interrupted from his many questions for Dark Peach when another woman started speaking. Oh right, Jr was here to actually do something, not needlessly bother people.

"Well, I'm coming along. Mama is going to need someone to protect her, with or without another me." Bowser Jr said. Well, looks like Shin!Arle has got a little more help with her mission, whether she wants to or not.

As Shin!Arle gave them a small briefing, Jr. started to grow impatient. When were they going to get going already? He  stayed close to Dark Peach as he waited for Shin!Arle to give the order to move out.

A wistful smile found its way onto Shin Arle's face, a little giggle escaping her at the sight. "Well, I guess I can't say no to that. Just one thing ... That thing has to stay behind. If they're as paranoid as I think they are, the noise it's making might give us away." Shin Arle explained, pointing to Bowser Jr's clown car. Turning tail with a swirl of her somewhat tattered, worn cape, Shin Arle beckoned the others to follow her. "Come." she requested, leading the way. As they walked, she lowered her voice a bit. "Once we're inside, we won't be able to speak safely. You'll need to find silent ways to communicate. Point. Gesture. Touch people to get their attention if you have to. Don't even whisper unless you want to trust our fates to, well ... fate. And make sure to stay together. If one us gets caught, all of us will get caught." Shin Arle explained.

Then, as she finished approaching the building not but a few moments later, she would turn her head and press a finger to her lips. The time for silence was now. Looking up, she crouched down to the ground and abruptly leapt into the air with inhuman ability, barely clearing the roof and landing up top! I mean, she had some definite muscle tone to her legs but that was just crazy. She then turned about and began gently levitating her companions up with her. It was a bit slower than just performing a super jump, but well--not everyone could do that, or at least that was her assumption. Setting them down, she gestured to a rather specific part of the roof and walked over at a very steady pace to minimize the sound of her footsteps. Crouching down again, she pried a tile loose from the roof and slipped inside. She was really good at this moving silently thing! It helped to know telekinesis, of course, which let her freely control her own weight. Moments later, a sharp thud could be heard.

If the others followed, they'd take a short trip through the musty roof section before dropping into none other than ... the security monitor room! A series of monitors laid out the inside of the building in front of them, each and every corner monitored by a closed circuit television. It would become readily apparent that had they entered any other way they would have been detected immediately. The trophy of a guard laid fallen next to his chair, a bit of blood splattered nearby. It wasn't entirely clear how he'd been dispatched.

The princess understood and would gladly carry the Bowser Jr. from this world as well if he wanted to be carried. Though she got that independent vibe from him she would still accept if he requested. When Arle gave further instruction D. Peach nodded without saying a word. Sign language might've been a good way to communicate though she didn't know if anyone else knew it. In her kingdom when it was still around- it was important she know many ways to communicate. People from all over visited her castle and she sometimes visited others but that was a rare occasion. It would be horrible of her to get visitors who only spoke in hands. A translator in her eyes seemed rather rude. 

So it was now time to stay quiet and she was fine with quiet. Arle proceeded forward and D. Peach followed right after her. She covered her face with her free arm from the forceful wind thrust her way when Arle did a super jump. It had been a while since she'd done one of those. She bent at her knees and placed all her strength in her legs before launching off and floating down behind Arle. As she began to question how the others would get up they all seemed to levitate up. Very convenient. Soon Arle began walking again and in order to keep up D. Peach began walking with her.

Bowser Jr looked over to his Clown Car, which had parked itself nearby. "Fine" he answered "But I just need to grab something out of it first." Bowser Jr walked over to the Clown Car and reached inside. When he hopped out again, he held a device that looked similar to a stopwatch.


"I think this will be of some use" Bowser Jr explained. He slipped the Smashdar into who knows where (Does his shell have pockets?) and followed Arle and Peach.

When the group reached the edge of the building, Arle surprised Bowser Jr but....jumping all the way to the roof. Jr got annoyed. How did Arle expect him to get up there without his Clown Car? If Arle hadn't already given the command to be silent, Jr would have complained already. His complaints would be unwarranted when he began to float up to join Arle on the roof. Once everyone was up safely, Jr followed Arle into the building.

Once they had reached the security monitor room, the trophy of a guard was the first thing that caught Jr's eye. His eye grew wide as he stared at the lifeless statue in front of him. He looked from Peach to Arle and back to Peach, unsure of what to do, hoping that they would give him some instruction.

Shin Arle looked around for a moment before focusing on the litany of closed circuit TV monitors laying out the facility. Gesturing to them, she lead the way over and began looking them over. After a long moment, she became frustrated. ...None of them showed a room full of trophies. At the same time though, she wasn't entirely surprised. Taking videos of that room in particular warranted incriminating evidence if the police ever searched the place. But that raised a--...Shin Arle stopped and pointed out a particular TV to the others. On it, a door with a huge mechanical lock on it could be seen being guarded by... One of those was just a raptor in a security guard outfit, but the other was what appeared to be a reploid soldier, his race apparent by his metallic appearance and bulky arms and legs. They were both pretty intimidating lookng. The raptor was a god damned raptor and the reploid had a gun that looked like it could punch holes through the building if it wanted to. A hand-cannon, if you will. Trailing her finger back over the monitors, Shin Arle seemed to dictate a plan to the group. She then did this again. They had quite a few patrols to avoid or take down, and an entire room full of people that would be hell to sneak through. It looked like they were having one of those weirdly professional looking ominous bad guy meetings, with a dude in a black hooded cloak leading the meeting. Was there even a way around that room? It didn't look like it, but they'd need to get down there before they could know for sure.

Shifting to the door, Shin Arle motioned to it. On the camera earlier, they'd been able to see that there were guards moving around down the halls. If they just opened the door and walked out, there was a good chance they'd been spotted. If one listened, they could hear footsteps going back and forth as the guards passed.

You're generally going to be rolling dexterity unless you have a magic solution to a problem or are asked to do otherwise by me. If you choose to wait and not make an attempt, Shin Arle will make her own attempt.))

The princess listened intently and kept herself absolutely silent. Not a sound left her pretty pink lips. The plan came into her ears and remained in her mind for quite some time. It would be necessary to keep it close in order to get through the mission with quick success. She was a leader type sure but she wasn't exactly sure where she'd be leading anyone especially those who didn't know what they were doing. Somewhat similar to her situation in which route to take in order to discreetly reach their destination. With a few tricks up her sleeves both risky and strong she was certain they had a fighting chance of getting everyone out alive and even if they did wind up in a bad situation her little RG Bowser Jr. could drag most of them to safety. 

Of course this meant mission failed but at least they would be safe.

Bowser Jr  followed Arle's finger has she pointed to one of the monitors on the wall. On it was a couple guards, which Jr assumed that were guarding the trophy room that they needed to access. He checked his SmashDar, and yup, there they were. He could also see a couple guards roaming the halls in front of them. How were they going to get out of there without them noticing?

Bowser Jr didn't have any ideas on how to get out of here, so he turned to Arle. She looked like she had a plan, but Jr didn't know what that was. He went on standby, waiting for Arle to make her move.

Seeing that neither of her companions were going to take the initiative, Shin Arle reluctantly proceeded to put her own plan into action. Better hope she doesn't screw up. Opening the door, she very casually stepped out with all the authority of someone who was supposed to be there while trying to muffle the door opening as much as possible. They wouldn't know she didn't belong until they saw her, but if she could open it without them noticing at all that'd be even better!

Well look who's quiet as a mouse today! Warle catches the guards while they aren't looking at the door and steps out freely, shifting to produce an orb of darkness from amongst her person. She raised it to the air and an aura of darkness radiated out from it, knocking the guards unconscious. They both slumped to the ground and began twitching in a manner that suggested their 'sleep' wasn't exactly restful. Warle smiled for a brief moment, but then it vanished as she began marching down the hall to confront the guards. Two tendrils of black magic shot out from her being at them, their deceptively sharp tips tearing into the guard's chests and leaving a gaping hole in their wake as they went straight for the heart. The trauma was so great that the guards almost immediately trophied. It was a brutal execution to watch, but the more seasoned observer would observe that they'd died almost in their sleep. It could be considered merciful.

She then beckoned Dark Peach and Bowser Jr. to follow.

In the next corridor, a stationary guard stood out in the open. He was ... alone? He also looked like a bit of a dork, judging by his complexion and the way he held his gun. It was incorrect, suggesting inexperience. Someone had told this poor fool to go stand in the corner to get him out of their hair. Warle's eyes glimmered as she watched him from a distance. Her gaze drifted back to Dark Peach's and she offered the other a little smile of amusement. Leveling a hand at her, she shrugged and proceeded to make a heart symbol with her hands before gesturing around the corner. It seemed like she was suggesting that Dark Peach put her good looks to work and go terrify that nerdy human trafficker with her mere existence. Warle then hesitated for a moment before pretending to take a big bite out of a bowl of cereal and raising her arms in a helpless shrug. One could only assume she was suggesting that Dark Peach use her parasol to eat the guard. And the shrug? Well, that was likely an admission of not knowing how Peach preferred to take people out. Not knowing Dark Peach wasn't her Peach, she could only make assumptions based on the original. And well--Imprisoning someone in your belly was a very effective way to prevent them from running off and sounding the alarm, at the very least. Whether Dark Peach took that advice was on her.

The princess used her long stride, silent technique once Shin Arle beckoned her over, and swiftly followed after her. Her voice never left her pretty pink lips. Even RG Bowser Jr. who was snuggled in her arms kept quiet and strictly alert. His indestructibility could possibly come in handy during this mission. |hK0VYBup_1d20+1The princess successfully snuck her way over to where Shin Arle was and waited for Bowser Jr. whom she also beckoned over to follow. As they looked off into another room they spotted a nerdy looking guard. The princess sat quietly for a moment, wondering what their next move would be. Along side that she was formulating a plan to take out the man in the most time efficient fashion, while keeping silent. Her lips pursed together tightly as her blonde eyebrows furrowed in thought. Her bright blue eyes caught sight of hand motions and tore her away from her thoughts. It was Shin Arle.

The princess watched carefully and closely, trying to figure out what she was signing just by the movements of her finger(s). Of course it wasn't the easiest thing to decipher but she knew what the heart was for no doubt. It would be time to shine in a few moments. The princess then paid close attention to her other movements, completely thrown off by the biting motion.
With a flip of her precious blonde locks, the woman handed RG Bowser Jr. to Shin Arle and prepared to strut her stuff. As she marched up to the man he took notice of her immediately, but as he struggled to try to put up his gun, the princess snapped her gloved finger, winking at him. p_1d20+1

As a normal unmagical being he was unable to see the pink aura surrounding her. Peach Charm had been activated! She slipped an arm around his shoulder, lying her head upon it, batting her long eyelashes so lovingly at him. He swallowed hard, hands shaking as he dropped his gun, but it didn't hit the ground, it was being balanced on the tip of Peach's shoe. 
She leaned in closer, whispering sweet nothings into his ear and down he fell, falling into a deep sleep. Peach was sure to set him down gently, and kept the gun. Then it occurred to her that they needed to hide the unconscious body. She gently dragged him over, gun balanced on her shoulder while she moved along back towards the group. Done and done!1d20+1·1d20+1

Bowser Jr watched as both of the ladies in front of him quietly sneaked forward. Mama even had taken out one of the guards! Jr wanted to compliment her takedown, but making any noise was prohibited, by order of Arle, so he settled for just giving her a thumbs up.

There were still other guards around, though, and if they wanted to get anywhere, they needed to be super quiet.

Unfortunately, it's quite hard to be stealthy when you have a large shell on your back. Clumsily tripping over his own feet, he fell over with a loud crash, most likely alerting every guard in the immediate area. Jr could only smile up at the other two before he quickly got up and hoped that they could get into hiding.
