Alrighty, so we’re continuing on the trail of Sub-Locations for boards, things have been going fairly slow on that front recently, but we’re moving on to bigger locations now! This week the location we will be focusing on is Star Piece Meadow and that means that the suggestion thread will be very pink with Kirby locales. Don’t just stop there though, as always we will also be looking for locations from brands and games similar in some way to the parent location, thus any game that has a cutesy Kirby vibe is free for use.
That could include franchises with a mixture of space and/or fantasy themes, though not as high fantasy as something like Zelda. Pikmin, Spyro, or maybe Animal Crossing are the first things that come to my mind when thinking of examples, but I’m not that big of a gamer to begin with, so you may find series that fit better. That is why we are looking for your opinions after all, and don’t forget that 100 coin prize that goes to the three best picks!
Priority #1 - Distinctness from the parent location: So for example, a sub-location in Mushroom Ruins should not simply be another part of Mushroom Ruins. Toad Town for example would be a sub-location we'd have to deny for not being distinct from its parent location, as that is already the primary setting.
Priority #2 - Roleplay Opportunities: Locations suggested should provide a wide variety of potential missions that could be hosted there. If a location seems more like an individual mission gimmick that caters itself to one specific type of mission, it's probably better off staying that way rather than becoming a sub-location. The same goes for locations that characters can't logically normally access.
Priority #3 - Iconicness: Locations should be representative to the series, as opposed to being stuff that has been randomly made up because it sounds fun. Making your own stuff up is great, don't get me wrong, but because of the issue of clutter we probably won't be accepting custom sub-boards at this time.
A good template to fill out when suggesting sub-locations would be:

A good template to fill out when suggesting sub-locations would be:
Name of Sub-Location:
Parent Location:
Description: Describe the location as it should appear on Li, or as it appears in-game
Role in Parent Series: Tell us about the location's significance in it's game(s) of origin
Suggestions as of now:
Soured Orange Ocean
Description: An ocean taken from Popstar and thrown into the meadows like a giant lake. The sparkly orange waters are a great vacation spot for sea gazing. The water is also most pure of Starvia here than anywhere else on Li due to its location. Though that is not to say caution should not be taken as it could still hold small traces. The water also contains a faintly orange like taste though it is not recommended to drink it despite it's clean appearance. Deep in the water are many hidden treasures as well as the sunken remains of the Halberd. There are also a lot of ships that line the ocean's waves and depths.
Sweet Mt. Dedede
Description: Far in the back of the meadows is a large and treacherous mountain that seems immensely difficult to climb. The mountain towers but yet it is not snow that lays at the top. The top of the formidable climb is Dedede's Castle. A large and mighty fortress as threatening as the climb up. The mountain itself also contains caves that could hold their own secrets or caverns. The mountain also seems to have a large amount of sweets and food lying around for mysterious reasons. There have been reports that there have been food based creatures roaming the mountains like the Mall back in the Life Sphere.
Endless Great Cave
Description: A deep cave system beneath the meadows that seems to contain a bunch of different biomes. The depths of the cave seems to be split into multiple sections such as the Tree-Sub Area, where grass and plant life strive despite being far from the sun. The Crystal Area that has many sparkling blue gems as well as a bright lake. The Old Tower, which is a massive brick tower near the center of the system that goes high up and contains many traps and almost castle like in structure. Finally, there is the Garden Area, a palace like garden where the sky is strangely visible despite being really far underground, some speculate this may be an allusion. A vast amount of treasure lays hidden in this cavern but be careful not to get lost. Strangely, despite the land above being one of the most pure, the cave system has a strong presence of infected.
Mechanical Meadow
Description: A part of Pop Star that fell victim to Haltmann's mechanization scheme. Whilst the madman himself was seemingly lost to time and space, remainders of his ambitions are still present within this location. Most of the natural wildlife that resided in that particular locale has been fully mechanized, becoming soulless machines threatening to attack everything in the spot. However, all that pales in comparison to a rumor afloat, telling of a very powerful machine that wishes to mechanize all organic lifeforms.
Halberd Wreck
Description: Meta Knight's famed ship, now reduced to infamous wreckage. It is unknown what or who managed to do such a thing, but one thing is for certain: with its master gone, no attempts at rebuilding the massive ship were attempted. Not that attempting to do so would be a good idea, for a mysterious beast has made the wreckage its new home to take care of their children. It will not move around a lot, but beware when harsh winds begin to strike, for you may be at its mercy.
