The staff and I have decided that instead of voting for one location, we will have two locations by the end of this process. You are able to cast two votes, so make them count.
Here are the choices:
Cauldros (Xenoblade Chronicles X)
A dark landscape broken by pools of molten rock, ancient battlefields, and the ruins of an old city that came from an alien planet. What used to be a main stronghold for an alien race had turned into a black wasteland thanks to the untamed virus. This burning continent is now mostly abandoned, save for the occasional wildlife scrambling to survive inside the empty city and various forts. Only meant to be braved by the toughest of fighters, Cauldros challenges any daring to enter it and explore, even creating weather oddities such as electromagnetic storms. The technology hidden throughout the whole continent is worth retrieving for investigation.
Madou Village (Madou Monogatari)
Once home to a bustling eastern-rural town, Madou Village was devastated by the starvia and is now overrun with monsters. These monsters tend to swarm the village at night. It is rumored that the Magic School inside the village might contain valuable books and artifacts covering magical topics. A sturdily built, enormous eldritch tower lies not far off from the village in Satan's Villa. It is home to countless mazelike floors that seem to have been designed deliberately to make the tower difficult to navigate, leaving it unknown just what lays in wait for adventurers brave enough to scale it.
Mute City (F-Zero)
Mute City, a famous and busy city in the space federation has now been abandoned due to teleporting into LI and suffering the wrath of the Starvia. It's many residents have either died, become infected or evacuated to the Life Sphere, leaving an abandoned city to rot and be filled with all sorts of things such as enemy's, starvia and vines, people are free to explore the large empty city, but beware of risks as Hordes can be found a lot here.
Rust of Bionis (Xenoblade)
Once the setting to the mighty tale of Shulk, the wielder of the Manado, Bionis is a giant organic god that resembled a powerful mechanic warrior. Well, it was, until the starvia outbreak had occurred. The starvia has caused such areas as Guar Plain to become lifeless. In only a matter of days, the god's body began to decay further and further, until turning into a rusted corpse, the warrior's body covered entirely by the infected oceans. Now, what can be seen outside of the ocean surface, are vast Deserted islands. Some covered entirely in sand, others in snow, and some have somehow retained there lush greenery. Some say, Bionis can still live, by some miracle. But for now, it’s time to discover the power of the White God! Adventure, through the deserted islands, that is THE RUST OF BIONIS!
Villagers Town (Animal Crossing)
Once a mighty and peaceful town belonging to a Villager, now lies in ruins and vines filled with abandoned buildings such as houses, caravans, a town hall & Tents, feel free to check around houses where all sorts of loot can be found, but beware of the weird things that could go on inside those houses, especially after rumours came out that the previous mayor of this abandoned village went crazy and later missing when the Starvia first took over the town and it's residents were forced to leave, but those can't be true...Right?
