Character Name: Banjo and Kazooie
Home Planet/Origin: Witchyworld
Preferred Motto: "We're Hungry!"
Appearance(Can be slightly different than the character choice):
Good or Bad: Good
History On Li: After defeating his nemesis Guntilda more times than he can count, Banjo grew incredibly lazy overtime and started to settle down with his bird pal Kazooie in a cabin he had spent months building and perfecting. His land had just started to become safe of evil and peace had just started to spread across the world when he fell asleep one night earlier than usual, and woke up to his cabin home half destroyed and a wasteland of nothingness surrounding him. Banjo and his pal Kazooie were both tired and confused as to what had just happened. One thing was for certain, however, they were no longer home anymore, they were in some place very different and much more scary. They didn't take their new found surroundings as peaceful at all. Taking a risk, Banjo filled his backpack with what little supplies were left in his cabin and survived off of those as he and his bird friend trekked far and wide to find a new place to call home in the strange terrain.
It wasn't long til the two figured out they were accompanying a different planet entirely. Nothing was similar to their old stomping grounds, and as they ran low on supplies, they knew they had to find a safe haven fast. The air was toxic and began to fill their lungs with poisonous fumes, they would soon die if they didn't find shelter. After dragging themselves over a giant hill, they see an enormous bubble with a city inside it. Banjo and Kazooie point onward excited to hit shelter at last and barely make it to the entrance of the giant bubble before they were taken in by a few residents inside and given fresh food and water as well as a little medicine to ease their pain. Soon afterwards, they collapsed into a deep sleep from exhaustion and awoke finding themselves in the middle of a great war between infected baddies and survival. They would join the cause to find a solution and return to their beloved home, the sooner they could participate, the sooner home wouldn't be such a distant thought.
Storied History(Optional): Banjo's first event of any significance in his life is when he first met Kazooie. Banjo made his home in Spiral Mountain with Kazooie and his sister Tooty. He was content to live in his small neck of the woods, but the other two bugged him to go on an adventure sometime.
Just before Banjo was convinced to have an adventure, he got a message delivered by Squawks the Parrot from Diddy Kong, asking for help in driving Wizpig off Timber's Island. Banjo gladly helped, but didn't think that racing really agreed with him.
A year later, Banjo finally caved in and planned an adventure with Kazooie and Tooty. The day they were to go on an adventure, Tooty was kidnapped by Gruntilda for her beauty, leading to a rescue operation. Normally Banjo wouldn't bravely storm into a witch's lair full of bear-smiting traps, but the capture of Tooty and the prodding of Kazooie lead him to go. Using teamwork and a series of moves taught by Bottles, Banjo saved his sister and buried the witch.
However, two months later the witch's minion Klungo transplanted Grunty's spirit into a time-altering suit. Gruntilda proceeded to capture Kazooie and mess up time, preventing the duo from meeting in the first place. But with the help of some Mumbo magic, Banjo was able to give chase, rescue his friend and beat down Grunty a second time.
In the peaceful period that followed, Banjo mostly enjoyed life. However, two years later the witch returned in when she was set free by her sisters and she destroyed Banjo's house, killing Bottles. Banjo sets out with Kazooie once more to stop the witch and her two sisters from zapping the whole island of its life-force to give Gruntilda a new body and hopefully finding a way of reviving Bottles as well as the now undead Jinjo king. Using Bottles' brother Jamjars as a teacher, Banjo learned how to operate with an empty backpack and use Kazooie as a handgun - which was the definitive moment in stopping Grunty for the third time.
With no witch to worry about any more, Banjo started to fix up his house (but gave up halfway through) and live the carefree life. He ate pizza all day and slept all night, leading to him becoming temporarily obese.
After a while, Grunty came back again. But this time, she was followed by a mysterious being called L.O.G., who devised a competition to see who will own Spiral Mountain. With his quadruple-chins and obesity magically removed, Banjo was anxious to earn the rights to his home and got to work. After a long test of vehicular combat, he won the challenge and Spiral Mountain's deeds.
Stats: ( 10 ) total points to distribute
Primary Attacks(3):
Scratch - A weak scratching attack that can randomly turn into a strong swipe when Banjo is low on health.
Bear Roll - Banjo rolls with the accelerated power of Kazooie's wings knocking away foes in front of him.
Rat-a-Tap-Rap - Kazooie peaks out from Banjo's backpack and pecks the opponent three times.
Special Attacks(3):
Beak Barge - Banjo uses Kazooie like a lance and charges forward hurting enemies. This attack does severe damage if running in a straight line and connecting.
Egg Fire - Kazooie hurls eggs out of its mouth and backside which can allow pain to inflict on enemies behind and in front of Banjo.
Beak Buster - Kazooie flaps its wings as hard as she can lifting Banjo high in the air, then quickly recedes her wings to allow Banjo to do a powerful butt slam to the ground. Sometimes randomly Kazooie will be drilling its beak into the ground instead of Banjo, leaving Banjo upside down. This is also great to reach high places.
The Dirt Buggie Shuffle - Banjo takes out a remote control from his backpack and presses a button on it. This summons his Go-Kart the Dirt Buggie which Banjo can use for two turns in a battle. While in play, the car increases dexterity by 5 for both turns. When he uses this he can drive around the area to try and run over his foes at top speeds which are relative of 45 MPH. He can also spew exhaust with it creating a temporary smoke screen, however he loses slight control over the vehicle upon doing this. The vehicle is fitted with spiked vinyl attached to the sides of the car hurting foes that touch it besides being ran over, this can also do some decent damage. Upon destruction of the vehicle, it will break down into parts if it is hit by enough attacks before two turns is up. Such parts of the car like its wheels, the steering wheel, the exhaust pipes, and the spikes on it can all be picked up and used as weapons afterwards. However, if it stays in tact for the entire two turns, it will simply just drive itself away using an auto pilot function back to Banjo and Kazooie's apartment complex.
Ultimate Attack(1):
Wonderwing - Using the power of a gold feather, Kazooie engulfs Banjo with glowing wings and her down leaving him invincible temporarily. This move lasts 3 posts and allows Banjo to attack without getting harmed.
