    Though initially being able to barely dodge the attempt by the Snagret to crush him underneath its giant snake body, Shiya was unable to evade in time to dodge the pecking attack from the bird creature. "OH GOD MY EYE... socket." Shiya luckily had gotten stabbed with the beak in his right eye; which he conveniently had already not had for some time now. That's not to say it didn't hurt though, getting stabbed in an eye socket with a giant beak feels fine in no regards, though it wasn't as bad as if he had been stabbed in the other one.

"*phew* That was a close call."

    Somehow withstanding the shrill and harsh cries of the bulborbs, Shiya proceeded too project another pair of blades to wash, rinse, and repeat. Eventually though after his EnerGy reserves were feeling slightly strained, Shiya decided to give the swordplay a break in exchange for some good old reinforced kicks and punches.

The groups efforts have lead to 5 bulborbs defeated. The total is now 85 Bulborbs!


The Bulborb horde was still very much rampant as a few of them started to run around in circles, before splitting into a few groups, in order to seperately deal with each threat one by one. Starting with Angel Wings over there.

The Group looking at pit jumped up onto the highest point avalible to them, a small building, using there starvia-enhanced strength to leap up to the roof, before suddenly juping off to Dive-bomb-chomp Pit!

(Pit: Roll a Wisdom check first. If you roll 15 or higher, you can predict what they are doing, and be able to plan better.  If you attempt to dodge, roll a 18 or higher if you fail the Wisdom check, or a 14 if you can predict there move. IF not, then its 20% damage. I promise it will happen.)


The Group coming for rundas were a bit more tricky, however, as they started jumping around, before coming across a Fire hydrant on the road. They leaped over, as if they were directed to it, before biting off the valve on it, sending a blast of water at the freezing Bounty Hunter!

(Rundas: Roll a Wisdom check first. If 14 or higher, you can tell what they are planning. If you attempt to dodge, roll a 18 or higher if you fail the wisdom check, or a 15 if you beat the wisdom check. If not, You will be afflicted with Frozen for 1 turn, due to the Water from the hydrant automatically freezing on you from your body temperture!)



The Snagret looked down at shiya, swaying back and forth as it almost seemed to be doing the dance a Snake would perform in the midst of a battle, while withstanding the damage that Shiya was providing. Dodging the first Phantasm Gate, The second one managed to hit dead on...But, something wasnt right. Shouldnt it be paralyzed or someth- Ooohhh boy.

Well. This wasnt going to be well.


The Snagret then seemed to move to the side, slamming its body onto the ground far to the left of Shiya...Before starting to swing its entire body Directly at shiya, in order to send him flying away!

(Shiya: Roll a 15 or higher Dex in order to dodge the snagret Smack. IF not, you are sent flying into a building, through a window, and suffer 2D20 + 20% damage.  [So, if it hits, roll  2 D20's. Whatever amount you get from those two, plus 20 is the amount of damage you recieve.])

Pit cried out to his comrades to see if they were alright.
Rundas just got butt bombed by a bulborb and Shiya was in the middle of a pecking party with a Snagret.
Pit, his ears were still ringing from the Bulborbs’ cry.

No sooner than he was trying to recover from the earache the horde began to try to make them dizzy by running circles.
Pit could only brace, unaware but prepared for what was about to happen next.

Distracted by the bulbous swirl, Pit couldn’t notice a few of them jumping out of the race, onto a nearby building and dive-bomb-chomping him. All I could see was a mass of fat shadows growing at his feet. 


“Big Bouncing Bulborb Butts!”
Pit exclaimed in a panic as he looked up before zipping out of the way.

Pit just barely zipped out of the way before the bulbous body of a bulorb bashed him like in leavened bread. 

Now that the Bulborbs had landed around him, they were featherless sitting ducks for Pit’to counter attack.
He started by strapping on his Upperdash Arm, a large gauntlet outfitted with a disc-shaped device on its end, once again and sent an uppercut right into the nearest Bulborb.

With his bow ready in his free hand, Pit proceeded to slice and dicing into the next Bulborbs in his path.

As Rundas continued to slash away at the many, many Bulborbs, he saw a bunch of them breaking off from the main group and hopping all over the place. Rundas could only brace himself as the jumping Bulborbs moved slowly toward him

While looking warily at the jumping horde, Rundas noticed a fire hydrant that seemed to still be in working condition. Rundas put two and two together, and realized the horde was attempting to ironically freeze him as he had done to their comrades.

With only a split second to react, Rundas jumped out of the way as a jet of water rocketed past him.


"Think you can freeze dry me, huh? Well eat this, and this, and this!" Rundas shouted angrily as he opened fire on the horde again, this time with everything he had

By some very coincidental circumstances, Schezo was called in as reinforcement for the battle at hand. Seems like the situation has gone dire if they had to resort to this, and on someone with not much experience on the very world he stands on. This was the first time the Dark Wizard got this close to the source of starvia, and it absolutely reeks. It smells deadder than the time Schezo got decapitated, pretty much comparing the past incident to a mere flesh wound. So the team he's assigned to is in charge with trying to break through the infected mob to allow the other team a way in? It's likely Schezo would get hurt pretty terribly, but rescuing someone isn't his cup of tea. Fighting enemies it is.

Urgh...the stench is sickening. But I must withstand and concentrate. Faltering here would likely be the end of me.

Schezo took a moment to observe his surroundings, taking notice of the incredibly huge Snagret that towers over him. Is the Dark Wizard intimidated? Slightly. Mainly because it's something completely foreign to him. Seems the other two are preoccupied with the rush of Bulborbs, so Schezo gets pigeonholed with the Snagret.

Schezo isn't too sure with how to approach it, so he kept his distance by casting some magic. Better play cautious and study the enemy.

Well, Certainly Shiya was hit by the snagret smash, as he was sent flying through not only a building, but through the window, into a Water Tank. Would probably have to pick him up later on in the day, should we survive. Sonic stopped his fighting, watching the flying Shiya in the distance. "Oh man, there getting pretty beat out there..." Sonic said to himself in silence.


"We can worry about him later! We have far too many enemies aloof!" Caliburn said, as sonic nodded. "Right! Lets reach SONIC SPEED!" He said loudly, almost as if it were a game, as he started running, slashing through more monsters, moving at speeds unprecedented...

"Sonic?"

Yup, Speeds that no one could possibly match! Blurring visions moving b--

"Sonic, Why arnt you moving?!"

Caliburn asked, as sonic seemed to suddenly realise something. He wasnt moving...something was keeping him stuck in one spot, as he could barely move his right hand to swing caliburn again...

"W-what the....?!" Sonic asked, as he looked underneath him, a glowing rune depicting a Clock, as Magic seemed to afflict Sonic's entire body.

Meanwhile, back in the fight...

Pit's deft dodge of the Bulborb horde managed to leave him room to counteract one of them, however, the rest had simply jumped from the way, shaking the pain off as they started snaping at pit once more, trying to intimidate.


Rundas had managed to get twice as much progress done, as two of the bulborbs were frozen betwixt the icy touch of Rundas's attacks, as the rest were circling about agin, doing the two low-hitting ice beams...

The Snagret looked at Pit and Rundas, preparing to make its way over to them, infected saliva drooling from its beak, until the sudden sight of a shadowy edge came its way. The Snagret flayed itself backwards, avoiding Schezo's attack. The Seagull Headed serpent stared directly at the dark night, blinking with a gross "Squish" sound effect following along with it, as it seemed to be planning an attack...


Until.

Meanwhile, With Sonic...


Sonic's body had completely stopped in place, as his shaky eye turned to look upon the horde of infected that were now closing in on him. "W-whats...happening to me...?!" Sonic was thinking to himself, clutching his sword tighter as, suddenly, he watched as the infected turned there gaze toward something behind them.

"...Firaja"

With a quick flash, a blast of fire came forth from the darkness of a building, smashing into the infected horde, unleashing a gigantic tower of flames that no doubt could of been seen by the group of Pit, Rundas and Schezo. This was, no doubt, black magic. Powerfull at that.  Sonic's expression turned to fear, as from the flames, a short, stout figure was coming out, showing an open hand, an orb of black magic resonating from it.

"Wait, I know this guy, from the factory resource mission!" Sonic thought, as he struggled against the powerfull magics binding his lips. "S-so, you're here too, huh?" He asked, to no responce, as Vivi simply kept walking forward, using his Stave as a sort of cane. "The least you could do is answer me!" Sonic yelled, but again, to no avail as Vivi opened a gloved palm, shoving it directly into sonic's face. 

"Thundaga." He said, in one fell word, a bolt of ultra-powered lightning shot from his hands, sending sonic hurtling far back into the fight, coliding directly into the horde of bublorbs, Caliburn luckily hitting a few on there crash course in. Luckily, that bolt of hyper-powered thunder no doubt woke sonic out of it, as he shot up like a bullet. "Everyone, move, he's gonna attack!" He yelled out, as Vivi casted Teleport, appearing ontop of a building, and then firing off a blast of firaja at the group, a gigantic pillar of fire erupting from the depth's of the earth!


(Everyone; Roll a 15 in Dex to avoid Vivi's Firaja. If it hits, roll a 2D20 +10 damage. So, whatever amount you get between two D20's, and then 10 added. Plus, you get Burn for 3 turns, should it hit.)

The Bulborbs, however, were not so lucky, as most of them were caught in the pyre's, turning into mere ash in moments. Those who survived were busy regrouping, struggling to avoid vivi's Magical Rampage.

The Snagret looked around, seeming a bit confused as it hissed, barking at Vivi angrily. If one were to go for a back attack, nows the time.

"You really are a bunch of bouncy Bulborb buts, aren’t ya?"
Pit quipped at the way the Bulborbs managed to jump in and out of the way, making an effort not to give into the salt it was causing him.
Suddenly all the infected turned their gaze to a dark building in the corner of the battlefield.


"Huh?"
Pit gasped, as curious as the Bulborbs at the sight of a gigantic tower of flames bursting forth, heralding Vivi’s entrance.


"Impressive entrance, but is he friend or foe?"
Pit pondered in a brief cease fire from the distracted Bulborbs.


"Woah! Foe! Foe! Definitively Foe fo’ Sho!”
Pit freaked as Vivi attacked Sonic, who warned him, Rundas and Schezo to his alignment.
Pit could sense a gigantic pillar of fire about to erupt under his feet, so he bolted out of the way as fast as he could.
Using his wings for a lift boost, He even hoped over some Bulborb’s heads when necessary.

Pit complained as all the Bulborbs fell, shaking the ashes off his own feathers and tunic.


“How am I supposed to compete with that?”
He contemplated as he readied a few arrows to snipe Vivi with.

Rundas took aimed at another Bulborb, preparing to freeze t solid, when suddenly quite the opposite happened. The Bulborb burst into flames, along with most of it's kind. Looking around, Rundas saw a figure standing on the cliffside. And he was holding a fireball in his hand. Great......

Rundas refocused on the figure, planning to catch them off guard, but the figure seemed to have seen them. With a shout, he sent a pillar of flame erupting out of the earth.

"Fire. Why did it have to be fire!?" Rundas asked, desperately trying to get out of the way

But of course, he couldn't even dodge it. Schezo was blown away by the flames and came out charred in places. Burnt clothes, burnt face, he was none too pleased that he was hit this hard within the first moments of showing up. Barely standing up from the flames, he noticed the Snagret took its eyes off of him. The Dark Wizard smirked, taking the opportunity to strike it while its guard was down. He raised his sword up, casting his dark magic onto the beast to take advantage of it.

Vivi looked down at the now rather roasted landscape, peering through the smoke in some attempt to see if his targets were still even there. However, soon the accompaniment of Pit's arrows were more than enough of a tell that, certainly, the terror time was about to continue. Pit's arrows flew at Vivi, and vivi...Didn't move. At all. Instead, when the Arrows made there target, a light "Twink!" Noise was made, as the arrows bounced off of vivi, a glimmering bubble of, what seemed to be Magic Glass was surrounding him. It seems Vivi really was fully prepared today. 


Sonic, Angered by this, started making a mad dash to the building, using his momentum to start running up the side of the building that Vivi was currently occupying the roof of, before jumping up to Homing Attack Vivi Directly. "Lets see if this bounces off of you!" sonic said, as vivi drew out, what looked to be a Bat of some kind, Blue in color, with a guard on the end. These were bats used in Struggle Matches. A Struggle bat, if you would. Deadly? No, of course not. Well, Unless...


"Saber."


With that, Vivi's Struggle Bat glew a bright blue, infused with much more power than it had previously had, spinning around and immediately Meteor Smashing sonic right back onto the road he was just on, making a nice little indentation in the rocks as well. Vivi is not dealing with you today, Hedgehog. "I...was not ready for today.." Sonic said, gasping for air as he lifted himself up.

the Snagret was looking around, almost waiting for its Bulborb friends to return, before hissing, shaking its head. Starvia couldnt feel sorrow, after all. But, what it could feel, was pain...And oh boy, there was suddenly pain.


The Snagret screeched in pain as Blade-like entities ran up its snake body, cutting open wide splashes of blood across its body as it started swinging itself around in pain of the sudden attack. What a direct hit! The Snagret turned around to Schezo, now finally giving the Dark Wizard some attention. And a snagret slam for you too, as the Snagret lifted itself up, and slammed its body right ontop of schezo. Or, atleast where he would be.

Vivi began moving his hands back and forth, creating a small bolt of static from his hands at first, before unleashing sudden bolts of lightning that must of been casted by zeus himself! Thundaga, i think he called it. anyways, its aiming for Pit and Rundas. Best attempt to dodge lightning.

Pit groaned in annoyance at his arrows harmlessly bouncing off of Vivi’s glass shield.
“What kind of chicken hides behind a shield like that?”

As if this newcomer wasn’t causing his allies enough problems already.
Pit didn’t have much time to keep complaining as Vivi was unleashing sudden bolts of lightning at him and Rundas.
Legs still burning from dodging Firaja, Pit stood his ground and whipped out his Guadian Orbitars

If rolled higher than the incoming projectile attack, they will reflect it back at the sender with this new threshold.
Otherwise the Orbitars take damage.)

“I’m the kind who hides behind Two shields.”
Taking this period of protection to look to his left and right.

“Rundas!”
Pit called out to his burnt partner.
“I think we’re gonna need a plan on how to deal with this over levelled Primid!
Any ideas?”
Looking to his other side, Pit recognized Schezo’s ghost white hair.


“Hey when did you get here? Have we met before?”
Pit called out to Schezo, who looked deep fried himself.
“Aren’t you the ‘gorgeous man who’ll deep fry the goods’ or something?”

Rundas got up. The burns on his body still stung, but that wasn't going to stop him that easily. He took to the skies once again, and started making headway toward the mysterious figure,shooting his blaster at him the entire way.

"Aarrgh!" Rundas yelled as he was being hit. He was dazed, but somehow he was still able to stay airborne. He heard Pit call to him, and ask him about a plan of attack.

"How about we try an attack from above? I can get you above this guys head, then you can sucker punch him with that giant fist of yours That sound good?"

"Huh?"

Schezo paused for a moment after hearing a familiar voice. It turned out to be the angel that helped him out of the castle a time ago, Pit. He briefly turned to him, hearing that he got the meaning of his name..."slightly off," to put it lightly. At least it was better than getting called a pervert, right?

"You are but half accurate in that assumption. I am not the man 'who'll deep fry the goods' but you are correct in my name meaning 'the gorgeous man who d-'"

Unfortunately, talking is not a free action, as evident by the Snagret wanting to retaliate on the Dark Wizard. Lucky for Schezo, he kept his sense sharp, swiftly dodging out of harm's way with no trouble at all. However, he recoiled from the burns right after the evasion. He'll still need to endure for a bit longer before completely shaking it off.

"I'm afraid talking is but a luxury. I'm preoccupied with this...serpentine bird...creature attempting to pound me with its head!"

...Did you really, Schezo?

...Moving along, he resumed his assault of magic on the beast. While the thing is close enough to draw his sword on it, he can't move his sword arm as freely from said burns. He put his trust in the spells and casted them, relaying a volley of dark arrows. Actually wait...would it be vulnerable to enfeebling? It was worth a shot. Schezo held his free hand at it, attempting to enshroud it with darkness to magnify any future hits that come to it.

A twinkle came from the sky, as suddenly, a Set of Armor fell from the clouds, as a hissing creature suddenly crash landed in Pit's Direction!! However, thankfully, due to Pit's Guardian Orbitars, the Dark Nut simply bounced off the shields, and flew at high speeds at a Bulborb, smashing into the little creature and crushing it like a pancake. Huh, Wonder where that came from! Either way, it seems like it was already well defeated from plenty of hammer smashes, so, there was no need to worry about it!

Vivi stood still, allowing essentially all of the attacks to hit his shield, even the reflected Thundaga didn't seem to phase much of it, as the lightning crawled around it, bursting off, and the Ice shots melting off into water. Vivi looked down, glaring angrily  with a black-magic fury emanating off of him, as he seemed quite comfortable taking Pot-shots at the group while the rest of the infected were attacking.


Thankfully, Schezo's thinking served quite useful, as the Snagret blinked as its body seemed to darken, becoming effected from the Lwark Void! Which, was certainly not aided, as Shadowy Arrows flew at the Serpentine Swallow! Taking the damage, the Snagret swayed a little in a daze of damage, before shaking it off and attempting to go for Pecking Schezo's eyes out!


(Roll at least a 15 to avoid the Oh-so dreaded Snagret Peck at yer' eyeballs! 10% damage.)

The Bulborbs, finally regrouping, decided to Pick on Pit a little more, as they lunged for the Angel, trying to Dogpile him!

"Sounds good guys." Sonic said, smirking as he looked at Rundas. "You guys handle Vivi, im gonna go help out the new guy!" Sonic said, before running off to Schezo's side, Jumping over him, and using his own sword in a direct Homing attack to the Snake Bird, Slashing it across the face, and landing next to Schezo. "Hey, Havent i met you before?" Sonic asked Schezo, giving a flick of his ears as if thinking very hard about where he met Schezo before, sighing as he shook his head. 

"Never mind, lets just get this Bird Brain down! You may be Gorgeous, but i got nothing but Virtue!"
