    Sonic just had the best idea ever. He was messing around with some of the food at the counter, when it hit him. Hotdog + Curry = Currydog! Like a possessed whirlwind inside of the shop, he had already gotten his hands on a mess of curry and devoured each dog whole. "It isn't a Chili-dog but it ain't a bad egg neither." He spoke from beyond a full mouth before swallowing another one.

    While he wasn't a big fan of curry, the severe lack of chili in this place made it the next best substitute. Spotting another bluish creature, partaking of simply the chili, talking to himself Sonic decided to converse with him as well. "Hey glob-bob, hows it hangin?" He exclaimed, a stack of currydogs nestled in one arm. "If your havin a curry competition i'm in! I'll be through the whole rag like a fad crawdad." Though it may be understandably hard to understand Sonic through his thick 90's lingo, it seemed that he was challenging Ecolo to the aforementioned curry competition! Could the blue blur beat the indigo blob?! FIND OUT NEXT TIME ON PUYO BALL Z! Dashing over to one of the set tables that still had food, Sonic propped himself onto a chair.

"Come on jelly-dude! I'm waaaaiiiiting!" He teased while licking off the stray bits of curry from his gloves while posing lethargically.

[Maverick Hunter Zero]

Shantae was glad that there were so many people here, despite the fact that she was still a relative newcomer to some of them.

"Arle, could you introduce me to your friends, I already know you, and the three from that performance mission we did last time." Shantae asked, actually curious and wanting to meet new people.

Gargos simply gave a calculating look at Volga, a wry smile forming as he drew near, erring on the side of caution since Volga was a reincarnated volvagia in human form.

"I have no quarrel with you right now, but if it concerns crashing the party, you can be my guest, I prefer to set up the mood for a right proper and more respectable party crash." the demonic gargoyle said as he folded his arms, respectively giving the scorching berserker his space.

[Dragon Knight Volga]

Volga eyed the gargoyle with curiosity. Even though the creature appeared intimidating, it didn't mean him any harm. The Dragon Knight nodded at the gargoyle's words. "Very well. I didn't think there was such thing as a proper and respectable party crash."

[Coolshaymin]

Glover was happily reunited with his mage, feeling the magical connection. Having the magic flow through him of a powerful wizard was so good and relaxing a feel he has nearly forgotten it being alone. Arle's response to Rulue did kind of sadden him for a moment though as she brought up how nice it would be to have a pair.... Glover did have a pair but he was missing with the wizard... Who knows if the potion made him evil once again? What if the Starvia got to him. The Glove was just relaxed for a moment as his sentience trailed.

Kirby meanwhile was still looking around for food... No one seemed to be eating at this party right now... That was boring! Who did not eat at a party?! Oh well, no one seemed to notice him soon enough to kick him out... Then Viridi came out with... Was that a platter of snacks?! Kirby was immediately distracted from the lack of eating as Viridi went to Arle.

"I am sure that glove would not strangle you. He does not seem like he would be willing to hurt anyone. Not entirely sure he could on his own either," Viridi replied to Rulue as she sat down the platter.... And was not prepared as Kirby was already there to try and suck up the snacks... Which just happened to have Arle in the middle...

[Mari]

Arle beamed ever so innocently at Rulue, making a few hand gestures with Glover in response to her contained laughter. She was having a good time, a little giggle escaping her in turn. Shantae grabbed her attention "Oh yeah! This is... This is Rulue, the Fighting Queen. She and I are rivals." Arle explained, gesturing to Rulue. "Over there with the sandwhiches are Amitie and Rider. I met them after I got deposited on Primp. They're magicians, like me!" she explained, looking around some more and--

Who in the hell was challenging her? Arle eavesdropped a bunch of curry competition namedrops and traced them back to their source, Sonic and...

Arle's heart dropped as she finally became aware of Ecolo. A moment's worth of fear welled up in her and she seemed to become silent and anxious for a long moment. That was not a face she was expecting to see at her party. A little whimper escaped her, barely audible to those near her. "Ecolo..." Arle murmured, only to be distracted by another body introducing itself to her. It was...

...that jerk jester from before. Arle wasn't entirely trusting of the mute jester, given that he'd cast dark magic on her before, but she supposed he didn't appear to be up to no good. ...What was he up to, anyway? The two seemed to stare at each other for a moment rather awkwardly. No, seriously, what was Jester Guy doing?

The Jester abruptly seemed to realize he was being awkward before beginning to dig in a pocket no one but he previously realized existed, fishing for something or another. A gift for the birthday girl! That was what you did at birthdays. He produced a plate of curry and Arle's eyes lit up! That was clearly the correct gift, but the Jester seemed to panick and quickly pocket it. How did his pockets work? Miscalculation either way. Arle pouted in response to being mocked by the curry. What are you, flirting with me you clown? Jester Guy then proceeded to pull out an affinity badge! ...an evil affinity badge. He awkwardly hid the badge before stuffing it back in his pocket. Heh. How embarrassing.

Finally, he pulled out--oh my god he pulled a fish out of his trousers. It was a large fish too, a magikarp that looked like it couldn't possibly have fit inside his outfit. As he pulled it he inadvertently struck Arle with the huge fish, apparently having not expected such a huge and unwieldy thing to come out of his pocket either. Arle was smacked across the face with an "Oof!", the flustered and startled mage flailing in an effort to ward off further blows. Much to Arle's chagrin, however, the magikarp was now angrily and wildly flailing about. Jester Guy didn't seem to have much luck controlling the thing, and so in it's anger it struck the mage a second time, this time with enough force to knock her chair off balance and send her toppling over onto her back. Thankfully, Jester Guy kept a firm hand on the magikarp's tail that prevented it from chasing her.

This had to be the single angriest magikarp the world had ever seen, as Jester Guy now found himself struggling to control it's flailing. He stumbled back, attempting to wrestle the fish into submission to little avail. Perhaps someone ought to help him before he hurt someone else, or himself for that matter.

Meanwhile, a thoroughly bewildered and somewhat annoyed Arle rubbed at a scaley slap mark on her face. "...Was that a fish?"

Say, why was the world shifting around her? Arle became aware of the sensation of being dragged forward, pushing herself up in bewilderment. Where was all this wind coming from?! The sudden realization that she was being pulled toward a gigantic awaiting mouth hit Arle like a sack of ice. That is to say, her blood ran cold and she promptly screamed in abject horror. "KYAAAAAAA!"

Rulue just saw Arle goof around with Glover for a small while before turning around to acknowledge Shantae. She only came to actually notice the half-genie as Arle introduced her. "Oh, right. Pleased to meet you, miss...hm..." Rulue said, eyeing Shantae. "Who might you be?" She asked. Judging from the rather provocative clothing, the very long hair, and the Arabian look and vibe she was giving, it was easy to theorize that she was one of those dancers you'd see in Arabian movies. Though the ears were throwing her off for a small while.

Amitie and Rider had heard Arle talking about them while they ate their sandwiches. They waved at Shantae.

"Hiya~! I'm Amitie!" Amitie said, waving energetically. 

"U-Um...I'm Rider...p-pleased to meet you..." Rider said, waving quietly.

Ecolo was casually eating his bowl of curry when Sonic came by and said he wanted to join his 'curry competition'. That 90's lingo, though. It was so...hilarious to Ecolo. A chuckle escaped the blob as he began replying. "Well, spiky-dude, ya wanna hold your horses, 'cause we gotta arrange more competitors for this spicy tongue destruction!" He said, copying Sonic's voice into perfection. "Oh! Howdy-do, Arley~" Ecolo said as the Jester Guy came next to Arle and offered her curry. Huh, that was so nice of him.

...Well, the niceties didn't last long, because soon he pulled a fish and slapped Arle onto the face with it.

They didn't knew it was an accident, unfortunately, so the Jester Guy was now receiving cold glares from Rulue, Amitie and Ecolo (Rider's was more of disbelief and confusion). The blob floated over to Jester Guy and grabbed him by the neck, fortunately with not enough strength to choke him.

"Hey, you. I don't know who you are, or what are you, even. But you have quite a lot of nerve to slap Arley in the face like that, and with a fish. I'll just say this once. You have automatically made an enemy of me because of that, and I suggest you behave. Otherwise..."

The sound of a punch could be heard. Ecolo had sunk his hand deep within the Jester Guy's mask.

"You'll be having more of these." Ecolo said coldly. He was actually being threatening for once, who knew.

That lasted for a couple of seconds until Ecolo returned to his goofy self again. "Welp, that's that! Who's up for some spicy curry?"

    Sonic sighed to himself as the party began getting slightly out of control. Speeding off of his chair with an exasperated sigh, he began putting back together the partially hectic area. Appearing by Arle's side in a moment, he helped her up before once more blurring out of existence and appearing next to Jester-dude. Apparently he had been the only person to notice the guy slapping the girl with a fish was not his intention. Helping Jester Guy up and patting him on the shoulder, he decided to impart some friendly advice.

    "Getting a present for your friend is rad an all, but don't forget to make sure your present wont harm them or make your friend have an allergic reaction to it. Also, when handling potentially dangerous animals, remember to take good care so they don't get frightened and maybe attack you or somebody you love. Always keep an adult handy, and ask for help when ya need it. Sonic Sez!" Just like talking to a 5 or 6 year old, Sonic instructed Jester Guy like he was a children's safety instruction video before casually 'walking' back over to his seat and wait for the eating contest to commense. A hedgehog's gotta take in a whole lotta calories after all to move as scootin and rootin as him.

[Maverick Hunter Zero]

"I am known as Shantae, and it is a pleasure to meet you. Despite the fact that not everyone here has met a half-genie before now, I can tell you that me and arle are friends." Shantae said, nodding at rulue, amitie and rider in turn, acknowledging that arle had noticed ecolo, but her eyes were fixed in a Kubrick stare at the jester, who had hit arle with a fish.

Now that was just not right, at least ecolo put the jester in his place with a punch. Sonic then gave the jester a talking to, sounding like something out of a self-help book, she would have chimed in, but thought it best to keep the jester in that Kubrick stare of hers.

"perhaps it is a good thing that I happen to be a good dancer, the last time I danced was that one competition themed mission alongside arle and Glover, and I managed to get the entire crowd to dance in the area. It would be fun if I ever did that again, but it would be too soon for it right now. Best to save it for when a real threat comes to wreak havoc." she added, walking over to a seat and sitting down, placing a hand on Kirby to calmly get the 8 inch tall puffball's attention.

Gargos knelt down to get a good look in the window of the place and saw the fish, he did not care for giving a gift so long as it was a package deal. But decided to have some fun trolling the people in the vicinity, namely the jester.

"I think that fish needs a good home to live in, like a fish tank." the calm but intimidating voice of the demonic gargoyle god said causing a portal to open up in the area and a clawed hand came out of it, grabbing the fish, then placed a glass container with water, pebbles, and plenty of fish stuff in it on the ground near the right side of the entrance, then set the fish inside it so that it would be right at home within its new confines. "next time you bring a fish, make sure that you keep it in a fish tank so it can be a happy fish instead of a grumpy carp, otherwise you won't be well liked than you already are." the voice said, pretty much scaring the jester as the hand went back through the portal and a gloating laugh was heard at the jester's expense.

[Dragon Knight Volga]

Volga chuckled as the gargoyle made his large presence known. He decided to do the same and cause some chaos. The Dragon Knight flew into the air and swooped through the door into the shop. Volga then hovered above the guests, embers raining down upon them as he flapped his fiery wings. He would take it further if he didn't get the right response.

[Coolshaymin]

Did that Jester just slap Arle... with a fish? Viridi would of gotten mad but it would seem everyone else was already lecturing him. Besides, there was something a bit more urgent than mocking and ridiculing a silent jester. Several of the snacks Lemres gave her flew off the carrying device and towards a hungry mouth... Which the more annoying them was who it was and Arle's scream. Viridi raised her other hand in an uppercut motion. A much smaller tree than normal uppercutted Kirby out of left field and caused to fly back and into the wall. The hungry Star Warrior fell and laid on the ground for a moment in exhaustion. "Puuuuuuuuyo...."

"Arle, that gluttonious puffball is called Kirby. He is far from a picky eater. Though his digestive system is a little weird... I tried to get him to stay away but it is hard to keep him away from food as you can see..." she informed Arle... For embers to rain from the sky. The tree went back into the ground to avoid the fire from the dragon knight. "And it looks like he was not the only one here to cause trouble either..." Viridi sighed in annoyance.

[Mari]

Jester Guy just sort of squirmed in Ecolo's grasp, unable to protest the way he was being handled because he was still struggling to gain control over the very angry fish in his arms. All of this came to a sudden end, however, when Ecolo suddenly slugged Jester Guy right in his ... mask. The way it seemed to sink inwards almost seemed to support the theory that there wasn't a solid body inside. Either that, or Jester Guy had just been rekt quite hard. Judging by the way his body jerked in response to the blow, it could be a little bit of both. Jester Guy just sort of seized up and went limp in Ecolo's arms It seemed as if he'd been knocked unconscious.

...Freedom.

Unconscious people couldn't restrain fish and the magikarp quickly dislodged itself from Jester Guy, violently slapping the jester out of Ecolo's hand and ragdolling him against a nearby wall. Gargos' hand would receive a slap of it's own as he attempted to approach the fish. Jester Guy had just been thrown across the room! What kind of fish was this?! ...What nobody could have known was that this particular magikarp hadn't been caught in some backwater river, but rather it had been retrieved from the very depths of hell and brought back to Li for a second chance at life. How did a magikarp wind up in the very pits of the underworld, you might ask? Well...

It might have a bit of blood on it's hands.

Dark Lord Max Fightmaster the Literal Magikarp From Hell wants to fight!

The fish glared at Jester Guy before promptly bouncing through the air, soaring above the heads of the party goers towards its next target... Arle. As it flew, however, a series of falling embers stung its scales. Arle, for one, was busy glaring at Kirby when the fish abruptly slammed into her, bowling her over and onto the ground again. The mage yelped, but the fish now had a new target. It promptly flung itself directly at... Volga! It carried immense force behind it, surprisingly enough.

Meanwhile, Arle scrambled back to her feet and just sort of leapt to Viridi's side, shifting partially behind her. She was understandably feeling a little targeted after everything that had just happened.

"Seems like we've got a couple of party crashers." Arle remarked, just about ready for a fight herself. If... she could just figure out what was going on in this chaos.

Ecolo lost his firm grasp on the unconscious jester as the 'Magikarp from the Death Knell or Something' broke free of him and slapped said jester across the room. What kind of fish was that?! It was no Suketoudara, that's for sure. Before anything was made to contain the fish, however, a rain of embers began...falling down as Volga made his ''''terrifying'''' entrance (read: lackluster/horrible).

Rulue took notice of the fire rain and made a beeline towards Arle, placing the squishy mage behind her nice body, effectively shielding her. "Stand behind me, Arle." she instructed. While she had come by to protect Arle because she cared about her well-being of her rival at the end of the day, she couldn't help but think there was...a different feeling acting up as well. She had no time to think about it though, as soon after Arle talked about having a couple of party crashers.

"Yeah, and whoever they are, they better get out before I serve a fist to their faces."

She kind of hoped for that to happen, because she wasn't itching for a fight this time around. She came here to party, for...whatever's sake!!

Amitie and Rider decided to take cover and hid below the table. However, one of the embers struck Rider's back, causing the smol one to yelp and let out some tears. Amitie's big sister instinct rushed up as her heart began to race. "R-rider, calm down, okay?! I'll help you out!" Amitie said as she tried to calm Rider down with huggles as Rider tried to handle the pain by flapping her sleeves gently to create a cool breeze around her back.

The pain subsided quickly (thank goodness) and Amitie let go of Rider. "Stay here, you'll be safe...or at least safer over here." Amitie said to Rider before the green haired girl on wrapped her sleeves around Amitie. "A-ammy, you can't go and fight on your own...!" Rider objected. "I-I'll go with you!" She proclaimed, causing Amitie's eyes to go wide. "Y-you sure about that...?"

"...Yes, I'm sure...let's go!"

"...All right, let's do this!"

Ecolo stared down Volga with an unamused glare. "...You are getting a kick on ruining a good time, aren't you?" Ecolo groaned, now looking mighty cross. "Well, let me get a kick of seeing you in pain in equal retaliation!"

"Fake Speech!" With that, three icicles appeared below Volga, fully intent on stabbing the dragon man on wherever possible.

Dedede was walking around the Brightwing Lane when he noticed the uproar of the curry shop next to him. He shrugged. "Eh, it's prob'ly nothin'." He said to himself as a...particular sound echoed within his ears.

A distinct sound that he could remember clearly who does it. The king of Dreamland summed two with two and what he got was DISASTER. He rushed to the curry shop, hammer at hand. No way in his everlasting life would he let Kirby inside a shop without a supervisor. Never.

"OH NO YOU DON'T!" Dedede screamed loudly.

The large penguin bursted through the door, ignoring (or dodging) Volga and the spiky icicles as he went straight to the pink puffball and tackled him to the ground. No foods were harmed (or little girls for that matter), thankfully.

"Has no one told ya to have self-control?!" Dedede began scolding the puffball as he began shaking the Star Warrior. "I swear, one o' these days, you'll just have enemies because you can't stop eatin'!"

Just then, a cool draft blew in from the door, as in waddled the Ice Climbers in their matching pink and blue parkas.

"Are we late?" Popo asked.
"We're Fashionably late!~" Nana corrected him.

The sight of the chaos going on in the shop made Popo question just how late he actually was. The party wasn't "over", in fact this might be the best part, but he missed all the context leading up to it.

Oddly enough, Nana was wielding two mallets over her shoulder, for in Popo's hands he held a sizable present. One could hope the ice cooling box wasn't The present itself, but the item bumping around inside.
And on top of the cooler, was a nice bowl of coleslaw too.

[Coolshaymin]

Kirby shook his body to regain his senses after getting clobbered by a tree. However, before he got to thinking on what to do for that, a certain King caught him by surprise. Kirby was caught off guard and tackled to the ground by the King who proceeded to lecture him. "You're one to talk about self control. I was not doing anything wrong! No reason to be a Dadede!" Kirby objected as he tried to move away from the King to find food.

"These guys have nothing better to do than crash a party? You would think we would have more important things to do. Some people really do not have a sense of priority, do they? Either way, I hope they can tell they are outnumbered because I think this is a valid reason to beat them," Viridi commented.

[Mari]

Arle was ... Well she did question Rulue's offer to protect her, but now wasn't the time for that. People were trying to eat her and if Rulue wanted to deal with whatever came her way, she was ... She'd have to thank Rulue later. There wasn't any time for questioning this now. She quickly hopped over to Rulue's side and shifted behind her, readying her fists rather superficially in anticipation of a fight.

Meanwhile, Ecolo's Fake Speech somehow managed to send Volga straight back through the doors and out of the restaurant. Exit stage right? Apparently, Ecolo was having a good day. Meanwhile, the magikarp violently bounced across the room again! This time Gargos was his target! The fish... slammed into Gargos with such force that the Gargoyle was promptly launched into a nearby wall. The sheer force of the impact might seem to knock the gargoyle out. Say, where were Shantae and Sonic at anyway?

Perhaps this was a question better left for later though, because even though two of the party crashers were down, Doom Lord Magikarip was still bouncing around like the world's angriest, deadliest fist. Channeling his inner sheik, who he probably ate to get these powers or something, he promptly bounced off of Gargos right towards...

Popo! The bell tolls for thee!

The magikarp sailed across the room before beaning the unfortunate popo right in the face! He would likely to be hard pressed to hold onto his precious cargo as the magikarp hit him with all the force of a truck. The magikarp then bounced a third time, targeting...

Amitie! The fish was honestly going for Rider, but Amitie was kind of in the way. The magikarp soared across the rooms and struck Amitie on the chest, knocking her backwards with great force and potentially causing her to inadvertently squish the bab hugging her. The impact was liable to hurt quite a bit at least for the one of the two that was directly hit.

And finally... the fish seemed to recognize Rulue's challenge. Either that, or it really hated Arle for some reason and wanted at her. Either way, it flung itself right at Rulue as a result in an effort to get to her. By this point, Rulue would have had an opportunity to observe what was going on and react to the sudden onslaught.
