As Chell turned to hand the soda back to Ashe she would find herself instead gazing upon a truly gross display of gluttony and cheese on hair action. Ashe had dived upon the pizza, a certain intensity in her eyes. Wrestling the now smaller pizza monster down, the girl began gorging herself. The sounds of the monster's indignant distress could be heard, cheese and pepperoni vanishing rapidly until... nothing was left, other than the cheese staining her new outfit of course.

"

Ick... Seconded.

"

Ashe rolled over into a sitting position, just sort of quickly licking her fingers to free them of immediate contaminants. She couldn't recall ever feeling quite so bloated before, but she'd been overcome with a sudden lack of inhibition and she wasn't quite regretting putting that cheesy nerd in his place. That is, until the sensation of internal resistance came back, much harder this time now that the monster had more of himself to work with. Ashe just sort of froze in place, a look of fidgety horror coming over her. Ashe's face went a tad pale and she promptly fell back, sprawling on the floor.

Uuugh..! Y'know, that last bite might've been a mistake...

"

The low whine of regret escaped the smaller girl, apparently having eaten a bit more than she could handle. It didn't seem like she'd be able to walk properly until the pain subsided. One only had to hope that Ashe could hold her dinner down, lest the unthinkable come to pass.

Y'know, this trip to the mall really went downhill fast. Sorry if it ruined things for you...

Don't be silly! If Chell hadn't been here, you wouldn't have been able to eat that pizza monster on your own!

It almost feels like I did, and it's definitely not happy about it either...

*Giggle* Seems like someone rolled the wrong species at creation. Say, didn't you come here to buy something?

Oh yeah! I almost forgot about the phone. I guess I'm going to need to stand up for this one.

Chell watched in shock as Ashe showed a more hungry display than even she has been showing. That was brutal to watch but it brought a smile to Chell's face. Something about watching Ashe go to town on that monster was wonderful to see. That smile quickly faded to a frown however when Ashe fell to the ground in pain. Was the monster acting up in her partner's stomach now? That did not sound enjoyable in the slightest.

"Downhill?" Chell repeated Ashe in what seemed like confusion. Did she really not find any of this chaos ruining the trip at all. "This is the most fun I have had in a long time."

"You have a very unusual definition of fun..."

"There is no one I would of wanted to come here with other than you either," Chell ignored her hoodie's comment. "My feelings for you are not going to change because of joke villains," Chell said in a more plain tone and unusual wording. Her tone also felt vaguely conflicted for some reason. Has she been trying to figure something out? Either way, Chell did not seem intent to let out more unless she had to. She held her hand out for Ashe to help the girl up and keep her steady.

"... She means that in the platonic way, right?"

Ashe was shocked by Chell's words. It wasn't just her choice of words, but well--everything else about them really. Chell was having fun..? And what was with all this romance? She didn't understand. Platonic?! ...

"

I think she likes you~!

"

And just like that, Ashe's outfit broke the ice and put those feelings out in the open. Ashe wasn't sure how to feel for several reasons. For starters, Chell was a girl. ...More than that though, Chell looked much older than her. Ashe had no reason to believe appearances were deceiving! There were a lot of things Ashe wasn't comfortable with regarding this situation, but... On the other hand, she did have a somewhat open mind. Maybe Chell's sweater was right. Maybe her uniform was picking up less than platonic vibes that weren't actually there. And who was to judge them for how they chose to explore their friendship? It was their relationship and no one else's.

...No. It was her relationship. She'd be the judge of what was appropriate.

...After a long moment's hesitation, Ashe would reach up and take Chell's hand, weakly pulling herself to her feet. She held her stomach for a moment as if to soothe it, but it was a futile effort and she clumsily wobbled over into Chell, leaning against her for support for a moment. She laughed light-heartedly.

I guess I'd agree with you, if this--herk--...jerk weren't using my kidney as a punching bag.

"

Ashe made a point to ignore her uniform's comments, not wanting them to influence the tone of the conversation. Her literal pain in the gut wasn't leaving her very patient for shenanigans. She did, however, keep holding Chell's hand. Whatever their relationship was or wasn't, she was alright with this.

Y'know, I guess it was pretty fun. What do you think is next, a phone monster? ...Haha. I probably just jynxed us. Let's go see, though~

Chell held Ashe steady as she stumbled from being picked up. She paid no mind to the talk between the clothes. The girl ignored the feeling within her heart and mind at having Ashe so close. It was not important unless Ashe wanted it to be important. "If it is a phone monster. We have their number," Chell remarked confidently.

"... So, are we just ignoring that relationship thing? Hello?" Chell was getting a little annoyed with her hoodie. She would shut her up if she did not have to keep Ashe supported. Either way, she escorted Ashe to the area as well as she could. "... Maybe you are right. Maybe she does like her~." ... Oh how much she wishes this thing had an off button she could press...

[Mari]

Ashe just sort of flinched at Chell's pun. She said what now?!

"

... *Gigglesnort* Oh my god, Chell! That was so corny. Did you learn that from the monsters?!

"

Ashe seemed intensely amused by Chell's break in seriousness. She gently tugged the taller woman along as she continued to get the laughter out of her system, bringing chell along on their quest to get their phone. Thankfully, there was not in fact a phone monster waiting there for them. Just normal phones, one of which would soon belong to Chell. Ashe picked out a nice phone for Chell, something that would do whatever she needed it to. Most importantly though, it had a tough build so it wouldn't break if she sat on it or something. They were free to leave the mall with their new clothes, their full stomaches and their new loot they'd managed to find during all the carnage.

"... Maybe..." Chell responded in short to Ashe as they went to the area to get her phone. She did not even want to mention all the action movies she has been watching... Needed to catch up on the last century after all. Fortunately there was not a monster here and they were free to pick up the phone. Chell examined it and looked around it as she got it. It has been so long since she has even seen these.

"..." Chell was in silence for a moment in thought. "Thinking of asking her out~?" The hoodie was being as annoying as usual. "Hey, Ashe, thanks for the trip. I need to go home for something. If you want, could you meet me at my apartment later? I want to talk," Chell requested. "Aw, isn't that romantic. Say, that thing you want to do includes cleaning me, right?... Right?... I have a feeling you are still ignoring me..."

[Mari]

"

Sure thing, Chell. Just let me get cleaned up. Gotta take care of my new friend, so maybe they'll stop teasing us...

"

"

Sorry. ...I guess it was a little silly.

"

And with that Ashe ran off to tend to herself!
