Chell reobserved the situation when Ashe mentioned it and she was right! He may look like he is regenerating his health back but the more he does it the less effective it is. Soon they can pry all the clothes away until there is nothing else. However, Chell's happiness at the Golem being on the brink of defeat lowered as he spoke back to Ashe.

... Did he just insult Ashe's appearance? Slowly she got more and more upset. Chell LIKED Ashe's tendency to wear really small amount of clothing! She was not about to take some narcissist's advice that looks down on the choices of others. This guy was no different from GLaDOS. Always looking down on others because their ego fuels way too much of their core. Chell has been the receiver of harsh comments for way too long.

The clothes came but this time Chell did not delay. She took off the clothes quickly but did not put an end there. No, she burned the Elvis ripoff clothes that the Golem picked out for her. Chell ended this display by throwing the Firebar and the rest of it's fuel at the Golem with all her strength.

For the first time in the mall, Chell spoke to Ashe... The Golem was not getting any talk from her at all. Not even about it's wrongness... Not directly at least. "Ashe, do not listen to it. It's words and opinions are meaningless and should not matter. The opinions of others that are cruel can not hope to understand. Only the words of those that care about someone should matter... I think you look beautiful how you are. This monster has no real sense of true beauty," Chell told Ashe while looking directly at Ashe to not give the Golem the false impression he had any place in this discussion.

Did the golem even have eyes, or did it see things only in terms of relative fashion? Either way, it seemed to bear over the girls as they talked. Ashe turned her gaze on Chell, loling her head slightly. She liked what she heard, but wasn't sure what to make of it. She was being called beautiful though, which sat alright with her! If that had been coming from a boy, she probably would've thought it a questionable remark. From Chell though? She thought nothing of it. The Fire Bar just sort of soared through the clothing golem, reducing him to a less intimidating size that was starting to take a somewhat human shape.

The golem was briefly distracted dodging Ashe's rebounding reflect shot. Ashe smirked, shifting over to Chell's side.

"...On the contrary my tag indicates I'm 100% polyester." the golem replied rather flatly.

That's what you said right? You don't like me because I make you feel obsolete, right? Jealous~!

Ashe beamed at the clothing golem, secure in the knowledge that she was right. He had, after all, been quite open about his feelings. This resulted in a moment of silence. "...I just realized I hate little girls. Maybe next time I'll get to be a men's fashion golem." the golem lamented bitterly, reaching out and attempting to grapple the two girls with it's large arms.

Chell gave a nod and a slight smile towards Ashe as her pep was gotten back. Did she really just call Chell beautiful in return? She was not sure she could really call herself that after the events she went through to get to this point... Then again, that second sleep was much nicer on her appearance than the first wakeup call... Still, it was nice to hear Ashe return the compliment. It's been so long since having a true friend that... She can't remember the last time... But it has probably been too long to matter.

Enough of that though as she returned her glare to the Golem as it claimed it's hatred. This thing was too big for it's britches but now it will be done for. Time to reduce this sentient laundry pile to a broken pile of dreams... Dreams that she did not really understand past hating this guy. Chell gave a sideflip before attempting to grab the arm and introduce the monster's face to the ground.

... Well, it looked like Chell's strength may not be up to par at the moment despite it being clothes. Probably had to do with the fact it was not really grounded or solid... Oh well, she had another idea to try. Chell backflipped away and shot a portal at the ceiling. She then shot a portal at the ground with a short hop. A moment later Chell was zipping repeatedly down the portals in loops. She quickly picked up into Terminal Velocity before she replaced the Ceiling Portal on a wall facing the Golem. The once again silent woman fell through the portal on the floor before zipping out of the other portal in a highly sped up drop kick that was sure to crash through the pile of clothes with intense force when it collided.

Chell attempts to grab the clothing golem! ...But a shirt simply slips off for her efforts. It turned out that grappling things that weren't solid was more difficult than it appeared. Thankfully, her follow-up attack was far more succesful. Chell plowed through the now person size golem, sending clothes flying in avery which direction. Something slipped onto Chell as she flew through the golem, getting stuck on her. Similarly, something fell on Ashe.

Ashe meanwhile pulled off the article of clothing she'd received and... a navy mini skirt? Oh hey, would you look at that. Sailor Fuku. Ashe was musing quietly about the women's fashion golem when the sound of a voice took her by surprise. "Hey!" it said, bemusing Ashe. Where had that voice come from..? A brief moment of confusion passed. She'd clearly heard it from right in front of her, but as she looked about couldn't quite spot the voice's owner. "...So are you going to put me on?" the voice asked again, this time offering a clue as to who had spoken. Ashe's eyes locked on the clothes, her body going rigid with anxiety. Excuse me, what? "Hi!" the clothes blurted out again in an ever so friendly tone. Noteworthily, it was a different voice from the golem itself. More... effeminate and youthful. What sick monster created a women's fashion golem and gave it a male identity anyway? ...Probably the same person that created fashion golems, seriously what was up with that?

Any which way, Ashe recoiled with a shrill scream at the clothes greeting, dropping them on the spot.

"Woah! Talking skirt." she blurted out, unsure what to make of this new development.

Chell effortlessly penetrated the golem and slid to a halt using the magical power of friction to slow down her momentum. She then went to push herself up when she noticed something odd... Was it a bit hotter in this mall of a sudden? She knows she was playing with fire and it is probably too expensive to air condition malls at this time. Still, she could of swore it was not this hot in here a second ago... Why was it dark?

"You okay? You seem out of it?" .... What was that? That was not Ashe's voice. She raised her head quickly and made the hood that was covering for it a second fall down... Wait, hood? Wasn't she just wearing a Tank Top a second ago. She looked at her arms and down and found that she was wearing... A pretty garrish hoody. It was two colors split evenly down the middle like some kind of balance thing. Blue on the left and Orange on the right kind of like her portals... How oddly matching even if the design is weird... Not that Chell paticularly cared about fashion anyway. Fashion is just a fancy word for manipulating people to judge you a certain way. "Hey! Not nice to ignore someone you know,"... Great, taking a look at Ashe, it would seem the Hoodie she somehow slipped on was talking.

"... Ah, strong silent type I see," Meanwhile this dual colored hoodie would not shut up. She kind of felt too exhausted to take it off at this point anyway. Maybe it will give up on talking if she just continued ignoring it... Chell looked back at the store before walking past Ashe. "Forget Clothes Shopping... Let's eat," Chell stated simply and to the point as she walked past Ashe. Paying for the clothes that slipped onto her did not cross her mind. Besides, dealing with that annoyance was a price steep enough as is. The science girl really did not want to look at more clothes after that fashion disaster and doubted Ashe did.

Ashe looked up in surprise as Chell began walking past her. Oh! It was go time! She moved to leave, only for the sound of the Sailor Fuku outfit to call out to her in distress. "Wait! Please don't leave me here. I can't move on my own y'know? Who knows what'll happen to me if you do..?" the outfit asked, drawing Ashe's attention. She was just too much of a softy to ignore someone begging, even if talking clothes did put her off a little. Then it occured to Ashe. It would probably put everyone else off too. Nobody would buy that outfit. It would be left alone and helpless ... forever. Heck, they probably destroyed or threw away clothes that wouldn't sell for long enough! Could she really trust corporate to treat sentient clothes properly? ...The idea that she might just be dooming someone by walking away hit her like a brick. "I promise I'm not like, a jerk or anything! We can be friends! Just give me a chance, please..?" the outfit went on to plead, not having realized that Ashe wasn't very difficult to guilt trip. ...Well, the girl supposed it was no more intimate than fusing with Model A... And he was a boy, with a mouth on him to boot! Yeah. Now that she thought more about this, it seemed easy to accept the sailor outfit uniform.

Ashe demerged and bent over to pick the Sailor Fuku up.

...Hey look at that, Chell! Ashe has her own seemingly inanimate object that she talks to too! Sisters from another mister, or something. Ashe hurried to slip on the Sailor Fuku outfit as she ran to catch up with Chell. Thankfully, putting on a skirt was deceptively easy, especially when it seemed to mold to her figure! Cozy. As she caught back up with Chell Ashe performed a moving pirouette before her, modeling for the seemingly older woman. All the while, the smell of cheese filled the air as they approached the pizzaria. Just one more corner for them to get around...

Chell seemed to get back her Companion Cube when Ashe was distracted. It was kind of a mystery if she seen Ashe seemingly talking to herself. If she did, she definitely did not seem to show any evidence of thinking that or the like. She merely looked down at her companion cube and slowed down as if she was allowing Ashe to catch up. She seemed invested for whatever reason she was staring at a cube with hearts on it.

Her face was notably in a frown for a moment with hoodie not really saying anything thankfully. Her expression lightened into a smile however as she noticed Ashe walk up to her. She watched the girl she felt was close to her age twirl around and show off.... Chell did not really know what age she was anymore... But she was almost certain she has not been thinking much longer than Ashe...

Putting that thought aside from now since stasis did not help that probable, she listened to her. Chell usually tended to ignore these kinds of questions but Ashe was the only person she really liked opening up to. Besides, she had a certain charm to her that she admired quite a bit. "Pretty good," Chell responded. She thought for a moment about why she feels it might be she thinks this way... But maybe she just needs some brainfood first. By the smell, it would seem they were close to their destination.

Ashe glowed in response to Chell's praise, as brief as it was. She seemed to appreciate it, at least. She honestly wasn't sure how good she looked in a skirt, but eh... Fashion wasn't her prime concern anyway, so if it worked it worked!

Just then, the time for talking came to an end. The girls rounded a corner and... Oh. Of course.

"Not so fast, ladies!" a chorus of four voices called out in unison. Ashe, having been walking at a very leisurely pace, just kind of stopped and gave the koopas a funny look. Had they been going fast to begin with? "Uh-huh! Oh yeah! That's what I thought! This pizzaria has been commandeered in the name of cool! Only radicool dudes can set foot in here!" the red koopa explained in a condescending tone, causing Ashe to turn her gaze upon Chell questioningly. Who were these nerds?

"Uh-huh! Uh-huh! And you little lady are not cool. We're still deciding on big and beautif--agh!" the black koopa went on, only to get not so subtly elbowed by Red. "Uh--...What he meant to say was no girls allowed! We can't have you crampin' our style." the black koopa stammered on rather awkwardly. It wasn't clear which koopa he was speaking for. Probably Red, who seemed like the ringleader for one reason or another.

Ashe expression fell flat. Ugh. She put on a skirt for one minute and suddenly she was out of the cool club. How did that even work?! Then again, these koopas seemed a bit ... superficial. Perhaps she could have a bit of fun with them.

The koopa bros seemed to be more than ready for this question however, not grasping that they'd just been insulted. The group began snapping their fingers and shaking their heads to the tune of disappointed murmuring. "Don't you pay attention, Silver Hair?" the green koopa asked, the group spreading out and striking a bunch of ridiculous looking poses. In spite of how they looked, one could tell they'd spent a lot of time practicing these formations. Their coreography was certainly impressive... as impressive as it was dorky in practice. "We're the Koopa Bros, the coolest of cool!" the five announced, performing a bunch of acrobatics maneuvers that were... Well they were impressive for koopas, but a little underwhelming given the turtles nature-given low dexterity. Ashe looked subtly amused by all of this.

"And every day we come here to eat the coolest food ever made: pizza! It's like a ritual, y'know? You don't get this cool without eating cool for breakfast." Red went on, wagging a finger at the two of them. The Koopa Bros then began hopping onto eachother's backs, standing upon eachother's shoulders to gain a sudden burst of height. Each one then slipped a pair of black kamina shades onto their faces in perfect sync. "Yeah. I know what you're thinking. How come this Sonic dude's leading the life sphere when we're clearly way past cool? Well the thing--AGH!"

The Koopa Bros were suddenly interrupted by an explosion of cheese from within the pizzaria, sending them flying wildly across the hallway in various directions. Red skidded to a stop between Chell and Ashe's feet and began wiggling helplessly on his back to the tune of one of his comrades groaning in the distance. "My face..! My shell..!"

Ashe flinched, recoiling slightly at the sudden cheesesplosion. It turned out that if you said Cool's names enough times, something would explode. Meanwhile, a chef covered in cheese rushed out of the pizzaria in a panic. "Argh! I can't do this! Arceus never intended for man to make a sixteen cheese, stuffed crust pizza with extra bacon! We tampered in the divine one's domain!" he screamed hysterically as he fled, apparently for his life.

Then, from within the pizzaria, something ... cheesy walked out.

"DAIRY OVERWHELMING!"

The supersized pizza monster had toppings for a face, hands of melted cheese and legs made out of the cardboard of a pizza box. Somehow, despite having no mouth whatsoever, it had been given a very aggressive middle aged man's voice. One of the koopa bro's kamina shades, which had apparently been stuck to the ceiling with cheese, fell and landed directly on the pizza monster's face. Cue closeup. Ashe glanced to Chell in alarm.

"Well, of course I do. I am no fashion disaster. I can make the most silent of girls hip with the kids." Chell was starting to make mental notes and connections of this Hoodie to Wheatley. Maybe this hoodie was made to make sure the Golem was not too smart. Worked better than Wheatley's job at the very least... Though the implications they had eyes did not bother her that much. It's not like she knew where they were and it did not matter that much. It was not like clothing could offend her in anyway.

... What was offensive was the attitude of these turtles. Chell stopped and blinked as they stopped them from entering the pizza joint... Because they were girls and not 'cool' enough? They have clearly not seen what she is capable of to make that judgement. Her and Ashe were at least ten time cooler than these dorks. Of course, she was not going to state these opinions out loud.

The girl put her hands on her hips and raised an eyebrow. They were really still going on about not letting them in? She looked at her partner and rolled her eyes to show her impression on these dorks. She was debating on whether or not beating up these losers were worth it, decidedly unimpressed by their antics. Before she can act however an explosion happened and sent them falling apart. She looked down at the one that fell between them before they fled... Great, another issue has arised. Did the Nacho Cheese Dip decide to start eating people?

... Living pizza... Okay, that was not far off... Why did the mall choose today to be really weird? Malls are not usually like this, right? Chell looked to Ashe for a moment, seemingly not that phased by the situation at all. Eh, she has seen worst. She shrugged before walking over to the pizza. Food was food after all. Franken Pizza or not, she was here for a reason and she was not about to be persuaded. Besides, freaks of dinner were probably on the hero discount.

 Chell easily took hold of the pizza which was not that surprisingly. She was quite strong for a normal person as one might be able to tell. Sure, she had no super human powers, but she was stronger than the average girl... Which is probably more than enough to wrestle evil pizza. She took a bite out of it without a real care to be seen... One might have to question her ability to be weirded out or panicked.

Ashe watched in shock as Chell not only knew what she was thinking, but proceeded to act on it without question. Huh! As unorthodox as it was, she supposed it made a lot of sense! ...Chell must be hungry, and now that she thought about it she was hungry too! It seemed to work out for the more authoritative girl, so ... why not? Ashe was conflicted about eating something that moved, but it did seem like a glaring weak spot.

The pizza monster leaned away from Ashe but she managed to grab on and take a big bite out of his body. The smaller of the duo seemed a bit flustered by what she'd just done but made no effort to restrain her gluttony for once. It was at that moment that the pizza monster began to question its existence. What cruel god had allowed him to be created only to be eaten alive by a couple of girls? This moment passed however and the monster spoke up in an inhuman voice full of vibrato.

"...Out of one oven and into another, is it?!" the monster remarked in rage, clearly offended by their course of action. His cheesy arms raised into the air in a threatening gesture, a clear warning that an attack was coming. "You butterfaces haven't the guts to stomach me." the monster went on to taunt ever so rudely, throwing his arms out and attempting to blast Chell and Ashe with a torrent of hot cheese!

Chell moved her head back as Ashe joined in on eating the pizza monster and licked her lips for a moment. It has been an incredibly long time since she has even thought about trying to eat pizza. Despite that and being living, it was an absolutely amazing taste that satisfied her taste buds. She was going to have to come out for pizza more often. Clearly even Chell falls under the predatory of nature of remembering taste and craving it regularly.

The moment it got hands was a little weird though. The girl listened to the desperate pizza for a moment and was about to ignore it for another bite. However, before she could act on her taste in eating pizza alive her instincts warned her that something bad was coming. Trusting her intuition, she let go of the monster pizza and did a sideflip out of the way. She was not about to be discouraged from her meal though. Like a real trooper, she immediately jumped back at the pizza to munch on the deliciousness some more. She did not even seem to notice the insult through her sudden predatory urges.

Seeing an opportunity to bond over mutual weirdness, Ashe continued to partake of their enemy. Who was going to stop her anyway? A part of her still felt very uneasy eating something that talked, but she was no longer certain why. It was at about this moment that fate deigned it appropriate to remind her. The pizza monster recoiled slightly as its body was now several slices smaller than it remembered.

"Grrr! Want me inside you, do you?! Let's see how you enjoy this?!" the monster growled, shooting off one of its cheesy arms to grab a bottle of hot sauce with a rather 'creative' title. It then opened the battle and proceeded to drizzle the sauce all over itself staining it's cheesy face a nice shade of orange. "...Gaaaah! It burns! Just like it's going to burn your soft little mouths if you keep eating!" the pizza monster challenged rather condescendingly. It certainly sounded like he was in pain, anyway.

The monster then attempted to slam Chell and Ashe together, swinging its cheesey arms toward them from both sides to accomplish this! "Bring it in, gals!"

Chell was still hungry and not feeling satisfied. Maybe it was because GLaDOS never really fed her that she did not care that the food was talking... It was questionable how she has even survived looking decent. She did look a lot worst for wear the first time though. Still, she stepped back and watched as he doused himself in something. Did he burn himself somehow? Oh well, it did not really matter considering she was hungry. Though the fact the bottle implied some kind of spice did make her hesitate.

Chell jumped back from the cheesy slam regardless. As much as she did not mind being rubbed against Ashe, neither of them seemed inclined to do so forcefully. Of course, she was also too out of it to think of that sentence's suggestive tones either. Regardless, she ran back in for another slice to quell her hunger. She pushed the fact he doused himself in something hot enough to burn himself for now.

"... Ah... H-Hot!" Chell suddenly uttered after only a bite or two. That hot sauce was really hot! Her mouth was completely on fire! Someone call the fire department! Chell's low tolerance for such spicy hot sauce caused her to run around in circles for a moment. Looks like dousing yourself in spices was a good way to get a predator like Chell to back off for a moment.

Ashe, having learned nothing from Chell's actions, decided to pull the pizza monster in for another bite! She too sampled the now spicy monster, only to freeze up in horror as a burning sensation began building up in her mouth. Ashe choked a bit and pounded on her chest with the side of her fist. The smaller of the two girls was forced to back off as well, or rather her mouth hurt a lot and she didn't want to keep eating if it was going to get even worse. Ashe promptly burst into a sprint, fleeing the immediate battle. Oops. The pizza monster began to cackle in his best evil laugh, which was decidedly impressive given his baritone voice. ...Maybe not so impressive considering half of him had been eaten, but still a rather good evil laugh.

"Gyahahaha! Run little girl; run like freshly melted cheese!" the pizza monster taunted devilishly as Ashe ran, turning his gaze back on Chell. "You have no hope to win. Crumble before me--" the pizza monster continued, only for Ashe to abruptly return sipping on some soda.

Oh. Right. They were fighting at a restaurant. ...Huh.

Ashe powerwalked up to Chell and handed her the lidded drink, beaming ever so brightly up at her as she continued to nurse her own elixir.

The pizza monster gawked incredulously at the pair, unable to believe what he was seeing. Had Ashe ...recovered?! "No! You're cheating! What kind of monster eats capsaican for fun?!" the pizza monster blurted out in horror. After handing her drink to Chell, Ashe turned and struck an akimbo pose mocking the monster.

Before Ashe could go on, however, the pizza monster abruptly rushed the two of them, attempting to give the two girls a big hug! It might not seem like much, but he was stronger than he looked and all that sticky cheese might pose a problem if it got all over them.

Ashe for one was ready however, once again lunging out of the way. Skidding to a stop nearby, Ashe turned around to smirk at the pizza monster with intent. We all knew what was coming next, right? The pizza monster sure did, and he wasn't having it. "I cannot be contained!" he roared, throwing a punch at the air. In tandem with this punch, Ashe and Chell would both feel a punch to their guts from a rather unlikely source. It turned out that eating sentient pizza wasn't 'completely' safe.

Ashe for one seemed barely fazed. Her brow furrowed and she gazed down at herself for a moment in recognition of what happened, but was otherwise unaffected. The pizza monster recoiled slightly, decidedly intimidated by this display.

Chell continued to wave at her mouth as the heat won't go away. Why would ANYONE put that on their food?! It was pure evil and she had no idea how to cure-Oh, hi Ashe. Chell calmed down a bit as she noticed Ashe return with a soda. Of course, they were fighting in a place with drinks, why did she not think of that. She felt good inside Ashe would share and took it to sip and get rid of that heat in her mouth.

However, the vile monster was still on the loose and Chell was caught off guard. The cheesy hug hit her and covered her body in sticky cheese... This was simultaneously delicious and hard to move as she licked a bit of it. Still, the hot cheese singed a lot more than she would of liked.

Chell did not notice anything in her stomach as he said that. She just tilted her head as it seemed the monster was hinting at something... But her surprisingly well built stomach was feeling nothing. She shrugged it off and took another drink before showing she did not learn. She rushed back in for another bite of that pizza.

Chell took another bite of the monster before backing off again. However, this time she drank from the soda quickly to relieve herself... Oh right, she should probably not drink all of this. Chell moved her hand out to Ashe to see if she wanted another drink from the... slightly cheese covered cup. "I hope you are good at laundry because this is going to take AGES to get out!" The hoodie complained.
