The path back still had the lava pit in the way. Unfortunately it will be harder to clear it while holding Penny's Trophy. You could always take a risk and chuck her trophy across first to make the jump easier. Though that did run the risk of losing her trophy in the lava below. The jump was still manageable and may be more worth a serious burn if you try it normally.

(Obstacle: Lava Pit's Revenge. You can chuck the trophy across with a Strength Roll of 13 or higher. However, getting it out of the lava if you fail may be a major issue. However, succeeding will allow you to bypass it with a 10 or higher. You may try and jump it normally but Penny is weighing you down. This will require a 14 or higher to jump across. If you fall in in either case, you 30% damage along with a burn. If you fail with Penny however, you must roll a 12 or higher in CON to avoid losing hold and dropping her into the lava anyway.)

"Ugh. Forgot about that." Daisy sighed in exasperation upon remembering there was still a pit of lava in the way. Even in death Big Blim was still a nuisance.
"How do we cross that now?" She asked her friend’s inert trophy.

Daisy could have thrown the trophy across. Not that she had any doubt she could make it across, it’s how hard Penny’s trophy would land that worried her. What if it ricocheted on the floor and fell into the lava anyway?

Daisy decided the safest thing to do was to jump with the trophy.
"Together. That’s how." She nodded at the trophy, still seeing it as her friend.
Carrying Penny’s trophy bridal style, Daisy backtracked for a running start.
Taking a fair running start Daisy leaped off the edge across the boiling pit of lava.

Daisy landed in a tumble, ending with Penny on top of her.
"We did it!" Daisy congratulated Penny’s trophy as she continued making her way for Link.

Daisy managed to clear the pit of lava with little issue. The foyer was just a little ways to the west and they can leave with their ally! Nothing can get in their way now-... What do you mean there are still 2 Captains left? Suddenly, a crash sounded behind Daisy as something large and heavy just knocked dust and debris down upon her. A large shadow loomed over her and then suddenly a large mouth lunged at her. If she was able to get a good eye on the ambusher, she could probably easily identify who it was. Petey Piranha.

(Daisy! Petey Piranha is trying to eat you! Roll a 14 or higher in DEX to evade the mouth of the giant plant. Failure results getting trapped in the jaws of the large monster and 12% damage. Roll 14 or higher in STR to break out if trapped. This option is only available once per turn.)

“Don’t worry Penny.” Daisy reassured her trophied friend. “Just a little ways to go before the foyer, and then we’ll be home free-EEek!” She shrieked as she was interrupted by a thunderous crash behind her that showered her in debris. Turning around to investigate, she barely had time to look at the large shadow looming over her before it snapped at and engulfed her in its mouth.

“I'd recognize that petal shape Anywhere! Petey Piranha!” Daisy growled with contempt. “I should’ve smelled an overgrown flytrap like you a mile away!” She sassed as she struggled to hold Petey’s jaws open.

Daisy wasted no time firing some superballs into the gigantic plant monster’s gaping mouth.

Two of Daisy's Super Balls managed to infiltrate the Pirahna Plant's gullet and damaged his poor belly. He still stood firm but his breif lasp allowed Daisy ample time to escape the plant's jaws. The giant was not down yet however and far from it as he vomited a long wave of icky goop at Daisy... How disgusting of a foe this Petey truly was...

Petey then upchucked a spiked ball into the air. As it came down he gave a mighty slam with his arm to bat the heavy projectile at Daisy with strong force.

“Aw What's the matter?” Daisy teased Petey for vomiting. “Can't handle my cooking?”
“Well if you're still hungry, to bad! It only gets spicier from here on out!” She battle-cried again.

And Daisy decided the first way to make it pay was with pay back.
As Petey upchucked a spiked ball into the air, Daisy treated it like a game of tennis or baseball and wound up to strike the ball straight back into the Piranha’s nasty grin.
