The golf club tried to impact him into the lava pit... But unfortunately for Daisy, the blow was not strong enough to move him. He raised his fist and rather brutally attempted to slap Penny into the wall. It looked like from the battle that getting hit may cause the wall to collapse.

Penny said to the dog creature as It tried to slap her Into the weak wall nearby. "Oh no, not another slap attack again...Ok Dog creature, let's see what you got." Penny said as she tried to dodge...The slap.

“Atta girl Penny!” Daisy cheerlead from behind Big Blim. “Show that big brute whose booty’s the boss!” Peach might’ve been rubbing off on her.
While the fight was starting to turn in their favour, Daisy was all too aware that this monster was going to be a struggle for them to take down alone. Luckily, she also realized they didn’t have to take it down alone. A sly smirk crept across her face as she decided to keep her voice down while Big Blim was distracted with Penny.
Reaching into a pouch in her pocket, Daisy pulled out a hand full of seeds, enchanted them and cast them to the floor.

“Wait till he gets a load of you.” She winked at the seeds.

Her little surprise took root. In the meantime, Daisy was still going to have to help Penny deal with this beast. wouldn’t stay in their favour for long if they It was growing more and more clear to Daisy that this dog was going to be hand full alone.

“Hey MuttFace! Remember me?” Daisy yelled as she delivered an gymnastic jump kick to the back of Big Blim’s head.

The Big Blin took 2 of the bullets with one piercing his tough hide though the other simply bounced off. Even then, he seemed plenty ready for punishment. Punishment Daisy seemed ready to give him as she missed all but two whacks on the head. Though that one whack on the head seemed to crack that skull a bit.

The monster reached back and made a grab for Daisy. If he caught her, he would proceed to slam her roughly into the floor. He then raised his club hand and tried to bash away the annoying fly that called herself Penny.

Penny watched the incoming swing that the Big Blin was going to do to her and quickly tried to avoid the monster with her fast reflexes as she tried to dodge the monster with It's gigantic malice that could hit her. "Let's see what you got." Penny said to the monster as she tried to avoid It...Again.

"Of course, we all know what's going to happen."

Daisy’s intentions were to stay, legs wrapped around Big Blim’s neck until she knocked him out cold. But seeing Blim’s big hand coming for her, she back flipped off of Big Blim’s big back.

Taking advantage of her position behind him, she saw no wrong in taking one more kick directly at Big Blim’s big butt.

Luckily, the cavalry arrived.
Little Nippers sprouted up from the ground where Daisy planted her seeds. The Nippers swarmed Big Blim and tried to crowd and overwhelm him, giving their mama a chance to recover.

The kick unfortunately did nothing for the Big Blin's posterior. It seemed you had to hit him harder than that if you planned to damage his thick hide. However, his movements did seem to be slowing somewhat as he seemed to tire after Penny's shots. The Big Blin held his club out before slamming it into the ground. As he did so, the hall of the castle shook with the blow and pieces of stones from the ceiling started to collapse and fall down. However, the Big Blin's foolishness hit himself on the head and made him sit down as the brick seemed to damage that head of his. It seemed the flowers were able to avoid the falling junk. Now would probably be the time to finish the big loath.

Penny looked up at the collapsing ceiling and then towards Daisy, she breathed heavily knowing what was about to happen, she was too slow to dodge the ceiling, but she was worried Daisy was going to get hurt...There was only one thing to do now, Penny ran towards Daisy and tried to push her out of the way, while doing so, Penny placed the crest Link had given her onto Daisy's hand.

"Get out of the way..."

Daisy was growing frustrated at not being able to land a solid hit on Big Blim. She was hoping her Nippers growing up into Piranha Plants would change that.
However another change came all too soon.
The Big Blin slammed his club into the ground so hard, it made the ceiling collapse and fall on all of them.
The Nippers managed to nimbly avoid every falling piece of debris, but keeping an eye on all 4 of them as they did this distracted Daisy from dodging herself.
“Huh? Wha-Ahh!” Daisy stuttered as Penny made the most noble of sacrifices: She pushed Daisy out of the way of the falling ceiling. Penny even did so much as pass her crest into Daisy’s hand. As successful as her endeavour to save Daisy was, Penny could not save herself. Our tragic heroine was pinned down and broken under the weight of brick and stone.
“Penny!” Daisy cried out in distress as she came to and realized what Penny just did. “Don’t say that! Hold on! I’m gonna get you ou-” Daisy panted as she grabbed Penny’s arms and tried to pull her out from under the debris.
Pull as hard as she did, the Penny who saved her was no more. Daisy now held the arms of a Penny trophy in her hands.
Daisy was stunned. Speechless. Motionless. Breathless. Her eyes stared frozen on Penny’s inert trophy. Tears began to well up in her eyes, as her lips and soon her whole body began to tremble anemicly.
“PENNY!” Daisy cried at the top of her lungs, clutching Penny’s trophy to her chest. “No…” She whimpered sickly, in recoil of her own crying.
”I’ve failed.” she weakly closed her eyes in mournful shame.

Daisy opened dark eyes back up at Big Blin. They were red with tears, and lit with a fire.
She stared a stone cold and vengeful glare at the dog monster. She stood up, without breaking her focus on him, barely even blinking. He turned Penny into a trophy, and she was going to return the favor.
She powered up with Competitive Spirit, the power boost making her hair ripple.
She started with a barrage of Super Balls at him.

Daisy then dashed toward him with a single-minded intensity. She did a high flip into the air and came at him with a stop right in the chest.

When Daisy finally came to, finally breathing normally again, she looked down and found a Big Blin trophy under her foot. She smugly lifted her foot off, and kicked it across the room, out of her immediate sight.

She turned from furious rage, back to mourning sadness as she turned to look back at Penny’s trophy.
“You didn’t fail Riley, Penny.” Daisy reassured the inert trophy. “We’re still gonna find him. I promise.”
She sat down with it to think about her next move.
“…Link’s gonna wanna hear about this.” She sighed as she activated the crest. “He’s so not gonna wanna hear about this.” She sighed as she began the call.

The Big Blin was defeated by Daisy's might. However, it came at a cost as an ally fell in the battle against the Big Blin. The hall still had a ways away but maybe notifying Link was a good place to start now. "Hey, Link is almost there. I think we could open the door for you two!~" A high pitched voice came through that definitely was not Link's. "Oh, sorry. I'm Proxi. I'm a fairy that is Link's sidekick! I just caught up to him again. So, how are you two handling that monster?" Proxi introduced before asking for Link.

Much to Daisy’s surprise, it wasn’t Link’s voice on the other end of the communicator, but the high pitched squeak of a fairy’s. Daisy didn’t want to break down in front of someone she just met. What on earth kind of first impression would That be?
“Oh uh. Hi Proxi.” Daisy greeted Proxi, feigning a smile in her voice.
“Oh yeah we did… Boy did we handle that monster… We handed his butt back to him...” A smile that proved hard to maintain.
“Could you… c-could you put Link on the line for me please?” She tried to ask as polite as possible, struggling to keep her quivering tears out of her voice.
“It’s… -sniff- …Really important…”

"Oh, he's still listening!~ He's just focusing on the bad guys at the moment. I am sure he is listening as well as I am though. What do you need?~" Proxi explained and declined cheerfully. She seemed unaware of the tone in Daisy's voice meaning there was more to it. Fortunately though, Link was more observant and interjected.

"Hey, Proxi. I think I am finished here. Could you go check on the door for me while I talk to Daisy?" Link spoke up.

"Huh?" Proxi asked in confusion at Link's strange request. She can't open doors. "Oh right! You want me to check things out before we head on! Will do. Be right back!~" Proxi stated before flying off.

Link waited a moment before sighing in relief. "Something's wrong, right? I thought if anyone contacted me it would be Penny..." Link asked when he made sure Proxi was out of hearing range.

Daisy fliched at the mention of Penny. How was she supposed to break it to him? Especially after he was the one who said they shouldn't split up. Daisy and her hubris went alone with Penny to take on the dangers of the dungeons alone, and look where it got them.

“Oh about that...It's uh...funny you should mention her...” She stuttered biting her lip, struggling to find the words to phrase this.
“She... fought really well! She and I, together, we fought this great big scary dog looking creature. It had really thick skin. So thick in fact it broke the floor open! I almost fell in!
But I didn't! And then he broke the ceiling and Penny...” Daisy snagged her tongue on the subject once again. She had nowhere left to go. No way to hide it now. She had no other choice but to get on with the truth. “Penny was struck by the falling debris.” She let the words drip flatly out of her mouth.
“She's... She's a trophy now.” Daisy whimpered with a shaky voice as tears started dripping from her eyes.

Link listened to Daisy without any interruptions. He maintained silent for a moment even after she finished. "... This is my fault..." Link stated shakingly after a painful silence. "I'm sorry... If I did not suggest to split up she may still be able to fight..." Link apologized solemnly. "Come back to the entrance. I found the animals and we can ride them out of here. Make sure to keep Penny safe... please," Link added at the end of his instructions.

"No it's not your fault Link." Daisy solemnly insisted. "It's mine. I went along with her and couldn't protect her from that stupid dog!" she grunted in remorse, grappling to resist the urge to kick or throw something.

"What? already?" Daisy asked in surprise to hear that Link already found the animals. "Huh. How about that."
She held the broach way from her face so she could wipe her tears and blow her nose in her handkerchief.
Daisy came back on the phone with a new tone of resolve in her voice.
"Got it Link. We'll be right there." She confirmed firmly before hanging up.
"Come on, Penny." Daisy sighed at Penny's trophy as she picked it up. "We're getting out of here."
