Draco flew around the stadium, her eyes staying on watch for someone to come into the arena.

"Oh, come on~" Draco groaned. "Why's nobody here yet?"

Draco slowly descended to the stadium floor, a bead of sweat rolling down her cheek as she looked around the battleground.

Draco pouted with her arms crossed. "Seriously. Where can a girl find a good fight around here?"

Most unfortunately, the one who answered this challenge was quite an oddball, despite being an ax-crazy gargoyle.

Firebrand himself stepped into the arena, an uncharacteristically devilish grin on his face as his golden yellow eyes and jet black wings stood out. "I'll take you on. I need the skill anyway, all we need now is a referee who can start the match and we'll be all set!" firebrand said with a smirk, getting ready for battle.

The stands were quiet, which was quite unusual for the Sunshine Stadium. Even on the least busy of days there was at least a couple lurkers poking around behind the seats, waiting for some good old fashion fisticuffs. Perhaps it was the lack of fights as of late, or perhaps they were getting tired of seeing two people beat the snot out of each other considering that it was something that happened on a day to day basis in the streets and outside of the Life Sphere.

Luckily for the duo though, there was still something skulking in the catacombs of the arena. From the shadows, a bright white grin shined through like the moon in the night sky. In the instance that it was visible though, it just as quickly disappeared, the grunt of a beast echoing from the entrance hall to the coliseum.

The sound of a generator pumping power back into the rundown stadium came into ear shot of the duo, a spotlight focused on each of them once the electricity was fully flowing through every nook and cranny of the gladiatorial arena. In addition to the blinding lights, what looked to be cardboard cut outs of Koopas, Kremlings, Toads, Reploids, and other various Life Sphere citizens popped up into the thousands of seats that made up the spectator’s stands. An incredibly bit-crushed sound effect of hundreds of people cheering soon radiated from the false crowd of thousands. It was abruptly cut off after a few loops of it, the crowd shifting to chanting a certain ape’s name. “FUN-KY KONG! FUN-KY KONG!”

From the tallest searchlight, a hairy figure descended and in no time flat crashed into the area between the two combatants. The radical ape emerged from the dust fresh off his collision with the ground, sporting a thumbs up and the toothiest of smiles.

“What’s up ma bruddahs and sistahs!? If you’re lookin’ for a fight today, the funkiest and monkiest slamma jamma in all the land’s got just what ‘cha need! Yah dig?” the erratic ape announced as he threw his hands up in the air. “I don’t even know who either of yah are, so ol’ Funky’s gonna surf yah through the rules of the Sunshine Stadium. First, yah can’t use any outside help, this throw down is exclusively for the skills that you have. Second, in here we fight out of love, don’t go trying ta kill your opponent, okay? Third, yah both get five rounds to test your might! Starting right now!” the funky monkey explained and very suddenly leapt out of the arena.

"Right on, brudda!" Draco said, shooting a high five at Funky Kong. She then turned towards the Gargoyle. "Prepare yourself, you... thing... You're dead!"

The dragon girl leapt towards the Gargoyle and screamed the words "Burning Breath!" at the top of her lungs.

Firebrand simply gave a nod at the walking meal with the big grin on his face, noting that the rules have been heard, still in his battle stance, he then saw the attack coming and prepared for it.

Firebrand said, giving an uncharacteristic smirk the likes of which leads to him eventually trolling someone most unfortunate, hopefully by the time he gets some more mayhem in, he can lead off with a mass level of carnage.

Draco simply let out a fearsome "GAOOOOOOOOOOO!" as she rushed towards Firebrand
