Paula sat patiently at a dinner table In her apartment, she was waiting for someone to appear so she can help her with her...Ghost problem. She looked up at the clock while wearing a short version of her regular dress, the person should be here sometime soon. "Anytime now." Paula said looking at the clock...Before her doorbell rung. "That must be her!" She said cheerfully as she got off from the chair and walked towards the door. "Coming!" Paula said as she opened the door for the figure.

"Thank you for coming, you said that you can talk spirits from the afterlife, and I really want to know what this ghost wants so we can help her...I hope It wont be a hassle."







"Dont worry, I'm happy to help people with these kinds of problems, I think I have the power to contact the afterlife now, Maya Fey by the way." Maya said as Paula closed the door and looked surprise. "Paula Polestar...But how long were you doing these kinds of things Maya?" She said as the two girl's walked around the halls of the apartment. "Ever since I did some attorney cases...And my sisters death, but then I travelled a few times before I ended up on this strange planet." Maya said telling a short version of her life to Paula, who seemed interested, but Maya soon spoke again.

"So Paula, when did this ghost started to annoy you?" She said as Paula pointed to a book shelf over there. "Well...I started to get suspicious when my books...Especially the separate letters dictionary, were moved out of place, you see." Paula said pointing to the dictionarys. "The A and Z's are misplaced." Paula said as Maya looked at the dictonarys. "I see...Wait, you have dictonarys, that sounds a bit boring." Maya said In surprise. "Well...They came with the apartment." She said as Maya noticed candles around the area.

"Why the candles, did the ghost do It?" Maya said quickly looking back at Paula. "No, I usually do that at Night...Anyway I have some more evidence of a ghost." Paula said as she walked to her bedroom door, Maya followed suit. "You see, everytime I go to bed, I hear a woman's laugh In the halls, I look but I don't see anyone around, not that anyone can break Into my apartment because I keep It well locked." She said as Maya nodded.

"So Paula, when do you want me to try and contact the ghost?" Maya said, waiting for Paula's answer. "Well, right now, near that table." Paula said as she sat at the dinner table with Maya sitting beside her, she looked at Maya and asked her a question. "Do you think this will help lay the ghost to rest?" She said to Maya as she spoke back. "Yes, I am 99% sure that the ghost will rest after contact." She said as Paula spoke again. "What about the 1% chance she wont?" She said as Maya gave Paula some advice in case the contact fails.

"Move...Now before we begin, how did you get such a big apartment?" Maya said noticing how large the apartment was, It had more room then a regular apartment does In the Life Sphere. "Oh, that was easy...A woman hung herself here." Paula said as Maya gasped.

"A suicide...Can you tell me the full story?" Maya said, sounding interested.

"Why sure."

"A year before I came here, a couple used to live In this apartment, there names were Reese Smith and Mary-Anne Sedgefield, they were about to get married and bought this apartment for free since It was supposed to be In a new complex for bigger apartments, which was cancelled mid development shortly after the creation of this apartment for unknown reasons...However, something happened.

Mary-Anne had this sister, her name was Elaine Sedgefield, she lived In a regular apartment, but she had a crush on Reese...And she got her wish to be with him, as Mary-Anne walked In on the two making out one day while going to a store...Due to this, Mary-Anne kicked Reese out...Who proceeded to call off his engagement with her...And married Elaine soon after, In Mary-Anne's despair she hung herself...

Shocking Reese and Elaine...They moved past Mary-Anne's tragic demise and this apartment was put on sale again, where I took It shortly after coming to LI..."

Maya was moved by the story, but she nodded. "Right...Thank you, I'll try and contact the ghost that Is haunting this apartment." Maya said as she focused her energy In the room, Paula looked around. "Of course...It could be hard...You don't have to strain yourself Maya, but I hope this works."

A gust of wind suddenly blew past Paula, causing the candles In the room to be blown off. "Did I leave a window open?" Paula said to Maya...

"No...It wasn't a strain."

Paula turned after hearing that Maya's voice was different, sure enough, not only was her voice different, but so was her appearance. "Maya...What just happened!?" Paula said In shock over Maya's sudden appearance. "...I'm not Maya...I'm the lady who was watching you sleep every night..." She said creepily as Paula noticed the appearance the ghost took on with Maya.

"Wait...I saw this before."

She quickly grabbed a nearby picture and gasped.



She was holding a picture of Mary-Anne Sedgefield and looked back at the ghost...It had the exact same appearance as Mary-Anne. "Your Mary-Anne Sedgefield!?" She said to the ghost who nodded. "But...Why are you haunting this apartment, are you upset at your sister and ex-fiancée for the despair they caused you?" She said as Mary-Anne spoke.

"No...I'm over that...I'm now free to walk the afterlife If I want...Although, It Is a strange world." She said looking up to the roof, Paula was confused. "Then...Why are you still here?" She said as Mary-Anne looked back Paula. "Just to warn you." She said as she grabbed Paula's hand, she gasped.

"I need to give you a message before I finally depart this apartment and make my permanent stay In the afterlife."

"What message?"

Mary-Anne smirked and talked again.

"Why...An evil force will come to this Sphere very soon, and will give torment to everyone he knows...And people he doesn't, he'll run Into you with a group and will try to end you, along with your best friends enemy, along this time he will barely be seen by you...There Is also a tragedy that will await you...It will come far, but when It does, you'll sink Into this despair...And find a new place you'll call...Home."

"Best friend?" Paula said as The ghost suddenly let go of Paula's arm and fell on the floor, she gasped and looked at the woman. "Mary-Anne!?" She said...As Maya got up, looking normal again. "Maya!? How could you turn back to normal so fast?" She said as Maya shrugged. "I don't know...It just happens." She said as the candles In the room were suddenly lit again, the two girls stood up and looked around. "Did she...Talk to you?" Maya said to Paula who nodded. "It was Mary-Anne...She gave me a message, someone Is coming to the Life Sphere, but It's unknown who." Paula said, thinking about Mary-Anne's message.

"I see...Whelp It look's like your ghost problem Is handled Paula, now you can sleep at night without being worried about someone following you...Now to go, bye!" Maya said as she walked to the door of Paula's apartment and waved at Paula...Before proceeding to leave the apartment as Paula looked on.

"Uhh...Thanks for the help Maya!"
