Metal Sonic's gaze shifted as Luigi mentioned a familiar name... Tails... He was not happy to hear that name in the slightest. He has been a thorn by sticking to that fake Sonic for so long. Still, he may as well hear what the fox had to say since he apparently sent a team to find him... For whatever reason that may be.

Tails appeared on the Dual Scream as he seemed to be fixing some device. It took him a second until he looked over and put down his work. "Oh, Luigi! Did you find out what the other power sou-Metal Sonic!" Tails reacted as he cut himself off.

"The other 'power source' was one of Eggman's prototypes. It seems the inferior ones have been awakened," Metal Sonic answered.

"Really? So, Mecha Sonic and the others are back? That is not good... Listen, Metal Sonic, you need to come to the Life Sphere. There is a virus in the air that can take you over if you stay there. Maybe Eggman can-"

"Eggman?" Metal Sonic cut off before turning around and beginning to walk away. "... Request accepted. I will head there now..." Metal Sonic stated before running away.

"... Well, anyway, good job, Luigi. You can come back for your rewards now. Thanks for the help," Tails dismissed before cutting out.

"Oh it was no trouble, Tails!" Luigi chuckled awkwardly.
"Not a trouble at all!" he wiped his brow exhaustively.
"Bye Bye!" he waved to Tails through the Dual Scream before hanging it up.
"Mama Mia. I'm-a definitely take-a vacation after this." Luigi sighed, putting the Dual Scream away.
"The beach is out-a the question... Maybe Nintendo Land instead!" he fantasized to himself as he made he bustled out of the base of operations.
