Chell nodded in response to Ashe's statement as she landed. She did not say much more than that but she knew a basic thing to survive this outnumbered is by making sure you have allies. Having one crushed as soon as the battle begun would not of been good for Chell even if she was not sure on being able to trust her. Chell looked at the giant in contemplation of what to do next. Her thoughts will have to wait until the infected is taken care of however.

Chell was not swift enough to exit her thoughts as she was clawed on her arm. She looked to the infected before pointing her Portal Gun at them. She then pulled her trigger for a headshot.

The shot was really powerful and Chell felt satisfied. Chell then looked to the giant crock in the room. Deciding to help take down the giant, Chell threw some more Propulsion Gel at the floor. She then ran down the propulsion Gel towards the croc before shooting at the ceiling above the Frost Croc with an orange portal. She then shot a blue portal at the ground in front of her. She picked up the Companion Cube before falling through the blue portal. She aimed to stomp on the croc as she passed by before turning around and firing a Companion Cube at the back of it's head.

[Dragon Knight Volga]

Volga was glad that the infected were being decimated. However, more infected were swarming the building and Omega the lunatic decided to provoke the ice croc robot into attacking him. The Dragon Knight would have rushed to the fool's rescue had a group of infected not decided to target him. Volga leapt to the side in an attempt to dodge them.

Unfortunately, he wasn't so dextrous this time and the infected swarmed him. However, the fiery warrior's armour hindered their attack somewhat. Volga wasn't put off by this and he slammed his Dragon Spear into the ground to push the infected away from him with a shockwave.

Omega would let out a grin of satisfaction as Bifrost's attention was shifted from the wimp on the ground to solely Omega. Wordlessly, the giant Pseudroid would spin around in an attempt to smack Omega around, and, given how huge that thing, even Omega would deduce that getting hit by that attack would be a terrible idea. As such, Omega would gather all of the strength he could into his legs and attempt to leap into the air above the incoming attack to avoid some serious pain.

...Unfortunately, Omega was just a bit too slow on the incoming attack.  The tail slammed into Omega's side and sent him sailing through the air, only to collide with a wall with a little 'Oomph' before landing on the ground.  Omega then would wordlessly get off of the ground, as blue particles began shooting into Omega again.  Wasn't ready for a dual-shot yet, but he could he manage one.  Omega would make a grab for it, but he looked up to realize that the giant croc was coming in for another strike - this time, with his teeth.  Gritting his teeth, Omega would make another attempt at a dodge - Rolling out of the way.

...Unfortunately, that wasn't to be, either.  Omega would let out a yelp of surprise as one of the giant ice teeth dug into his left leg, leaving a decently sized hole in it before he lifted his leg out of the way, allowing him to make the rest of the way through.  Omega would catch himself on his unwounded leg, rolling to a stop before leaning his head back to glare at Bifrost.  Frowning and grabbing his Saber, before Bifrost could react after making sure a huge chomp, Omega initiated a counterattack.  Grabbing his partially charged Buster, Omega fired a single Charge Shot at the giant Pseudroid.

To follow up on his charge shot, Omega would activate the thrusters on the bottom of his feet, darting underneath Bifrost at incredibly high speeds, holding his Saber above him an attempt to cleave him down the middle.

To finish, Omega would slide out from underneath Bifrost and crouch, holding his Saber beneath him, before the blade caught into flames as Omega sprung from the ground, a considerable amount less force than before due to his injured leg, aiming to cut Bifrost from behind and burn him as well.

After the combo, Omega would try and land on Bifrost's back with a huff and hopes that Bifrost wouldn't be able to hit Omega from here - And, in hopes Bifrost would already be dead anyway.  That said, the onslaught wasn't quite over yet.  The infected hordes of Reploids were beginning to attack everyone - Omega included.  Omega would, using his uninjured leg - spur himself into another roll, in attempts to get out of the way of the strike.

The attack missed Omega by a rather wide margin as he swiftly dodged out of the way.  After giving a condescending snicker to the inferior Reploid, Omega jumped into the air, holding his saber in front of him and did a front-flip, shooting energy from the path of the blade that threatened to freeze those it made contact with.

Boing. Boing. Chell and her companion cube bounced off of Bifrost. Luckily for her, the gigantic croc didn't seem to be making any effort to dodge attacks. Compounded with his massive size and slowness, they were also in a somewhat confined space that further restricted where he could move. Bifrost's eyes darted back and fourth as his body rocked with the attacks, attempting to search for a way out of taking all of these attacks. A growl of frustration escaped him as the infected were mowed down by Volga and Chell. It wasn't lost on him that they were more dangerous to his enemies than to him.

The crocoroid turned his head as Omega's charge shot slammed into him, the plasma searing his heavy armor plating. Bifrost, slow as he was, was unable to move quickly enough to prevent Omega from dashing underneath him. Sparks flew as Omega's saber cut into Bifrost's heavy armoring. "UWAAAAA!" Bifrost cried out as flames cut into him. Bifrost staggered after having taken such heavy damage, the pseudroid having seen much better days by the looks of him. Yet, even as Bifrost's body went up in smoke he appeared willing to fight. The group's gigantic opponent once again turned tail, attempting to smack Omega across the room. The messiah had positioned himself perfectly for this attack, and Bifrost wasn't about to let him get away with it. Consequently, Bifrost was turning his back to Chell and Ashe. The two girls would also be targeted by his swinging tail.

Ashe for one was caught off guard, the tail smacking into her like a speeding vehicle and sending the child violently through the air and into the nearby wall. Ow!

Bifrost, decidedly focused in on Omega, took a step forward. "There is no place for fossils like you in the new world." Bifrost growled out coldly, his massive mouth opening wide at a seemingly impossible 180 degrees. Bifrost's teeth began to rocket out of his mouth at Omega like massive icicle projectiles, two volleys of icicle teeth raining down upon the messiah as Bifrost sluggishly chased him. Judging by the fact that Bifrost's teeth were rapidly regenerating, and that he was poised to bite, one might surmise that getting close to him might not be the best idea right now.

Ashe picked herself up, wincing as her body protested the movement. Bifrost could seriously hurt! ...It was then that Ashe noticed the sound of approaching infected reploids. As the last of the second wave of infected were destroyed, a third was well on their way. Ashe shifted into the doorway, taking aim with her laser shots. "I'll hold the infected off for a bit!" Ashe called out as she picked out targets with her cybernetic eyes. As the infected approached she was locking on to targets, little red markers popping up as reploid after reploid found itself tracked. After a few moments of picking out targets, Ashe lifted her busters and discharged two bolts of plasma lightning.

The plasma bolts shot through the crowd of swarming infected, impacting their first targets before immediately jumping to their next, changing directions and dismantling infected after infected. In mere moments the crowd of infected was shrouded in debris and explosions, their numbers thinning out radically as they were confronted with Ashe's specialized crowd control weaponry.

Chell noticed that the crocodile did not seem to be taking any effort into evasion in the slightest. She looked to the turret and it was still in sleep mode it would appear. She wanted that thing functioning again already. She was about to go back to inspecting until suddenly a tail came flying at her at extreme speeds.

Chell jumped but was not fast enough as the tail slammed against her leg and sent her flying into the wall. She rubbed her head before looking down at her legs. Fortunately the knee replacement tool that she used to survive long falls without breaking her legs allowed her to take that rather well. Would of been much worst if she got hit directly by the metal titan's tail. She was still in this and was barely feeling tired by this point. She pushed herself up and looked to the croc as Ashe went to take care of the infected at the doors. It seemed like she had that handled so taking care of the giant aligator in the room was her top priority.

Chell ran at the the croc and jumped to leap off his head. She would then twist in midair and fire her portal gun to damage the croc with the energy from it. Chell then put some blue gel on the other side of the giant robot. She kicked the Companion Cube down the orange path so that it would slide before throwing itself into him. Chell then hurried to get close to the turret for when it became active.

Volga was glad that Ashe seemed to have the infected situation under control. Now he could focus on the icy croc robot instead. Despite having taken heavy damage, Bifrost still appeared to be fighting fit as he attacked his antagonists. As the crocodilian colossus chased after Omega with his mouth open wide, the Dragon Knight breathed a jet of fire at the robotic reptile, not wanting to get close to the teeth or the tail.

(( Coolshaymin  Dragon Knight Volga Apologies for the wait. I've received word that Glimmer isn't coming back, which unfortunately means we will be moving on one person down. I will also be switching over to using thresholds instead of a bunch of rolls. ))

One would have to turn and admire dem legs as Chell somehow rocked the multi-thousand-pound walking fortress with her acrobatics. Seriously girl! What's up with that? However, the rest of the party's attacks had difficulty moving the massive pseudroid. Meanwhile, Ashe continued holding off the zombies, preventing them from getting inside the building with her powerful crowd control attacks.

The infected dropped like flies once again. Ashe's specialized targeting system had no problem ripping through them en masse, causing horrific amounts of damage. As the next wave came in, they were unable to attack the rest of the group due to Ashe's vigilance.

Chell, on the other hand, had just made a critical mistake. Poised to bite with his massive jaws at a moment's notice, he lunged out and attacked Chell the moment she got close to him! Bifrost attempted to bite down on Chell, using his massive mouth and fangs to try and trap her in his cruel, cruel icy jaw.

Chell landed and was about to consider what next to do as she watched Ashe taking care of the Infected Army. This seemed like it was going to be a pretty easy time holding out... Until something seemed to make the area around her much darker for a split second. She had almost zero time to react as the jaws of the icy behemoth suddenly closed down on her. She was quickly hurt by the snap but she was too determined on survival to give in so easily. She knew it was pretty much impossible to fight the jaws but she could at least keep them open.

Chell was able to keep the jaws somewhat open with surprising effort and will. It was a losing battle however as she could not open them enough to get much movement. She had to put too much strength into keeping herself from being crushed that she could not aim her Portal Gun for an escape. The amount of effort was too much for her to make any ground out of the jaws either. The woman fighting for her life against the crocodile gave a stare at her turret. Surely it was back online by now.

"Rebooting..." The Turret stated as it came back on line and wiggled it's optics until seeing Bifrost with Chell in his mouth. The turret knew better than to aim for the head in this case and looked to the mechanical monster's body. "Miss me?" The robot prepared it's missles and fired at the frozen mechanical behemoth croc.

Volga was glad that Ashe seemed to have the infected under control because the giant robot crocodile wasn't giving up. In addition to trying to eat Chell, Bifrost had also set his sights on the Dragon Knight himself. Volga used his wings to try to propel himself out of the way of the gargantuan croc.

Unfortunately, he was unable to avoid getting squashed and ended up underneath Bifrost's enormous foot. However, the Dragon Knight's armour and natural toughness lessened the damage somewhat. Volga could still feel the pain, however, and that sent his rather volatile temper through the roof. He roared out angrily, "Get off me, you oversized rust bucket!"
The draconic fellow then transformed into his true Fire Dragon form. Even though Volga was not as large as Bifrost, he was still much larger than a normal human. He proceeded to savagely attack the huge robot in an attempt to free himself.

Bifrost's heavy armor warded off most of the damage the turret's missiles were doing to him. What a shame, too, considering how dire Chell's situation was! Bifrost staggered backwards as a larger foe presented itself, Volga succeeding in doing a substantial amount of damage to the pseudroid. Bifrost however, had something else on his mind--or rather on his tongue. Not quite on the tip of his tongue mind you, but--...Well, you know where this is going. Bifrost would step back, staring Volga down as he began to violently chew the girl trapped in his mouth. To say it was unpleasant would be... a gratuitous understatement. One would be hard-pressed to find a more agonizing position to be in, and because of her unfortunate position, there was little she could do to defend herself from the onslaught.

...Not far off, Ashe's attention was drawn first by the sound of heavy movements from both Bifrost and Volga. This alone wasn't enough to make her look away from her own important mission, however when Chell understandably emitted a scream in response to Bifrost's horrible attack, Ashe turned her head. "Oh geez." Ashe murmured to herself, turning her back on the approaching zombies and rushing to Chell's aid! She wasn't fast enough to stop Bifrost from getting through a second cycle of chewing, but with any luck, she'd be able to stop him from doing even more damage.

(The threshold for helping Chell or escaping Bifrost's grasp has been reduced to 18)

Rushing to the scene, Ashe leveled her laster shots at Bifrost. "Spit her out!" Ashe shouted very loudly, an earnest rage in her voice. She didn't like to think about what must be happening to Chell behind those cruel teeth. Ashe unleashed her reflect shot at Bifrost, a large torrent of plasma errupting from the barrel of her laser shot aimed as his lower jaw.

...And... Bifrost's lower jaw was nearly blown off of his body! The now badly damaged pseudroid's lower jaw was shattered by the force of Ashe's attack, leaving it hanging open without the ability to close anymore. Ashe would holster her laser shots and leap through the air as shards of ice and metal exploded outwards, holding out her arms and catching Chell as she inevitably fell from Bifrost. Frankly, Ashe had no way of knowing Chell was good at dealing with heights, and even if she did she couldn't be sure Chell was in a condition to land on her feet after being chewed up like that. She would wrap her arms around Chell's back and thighs, holding her close to her body to shield her from the raining shrapnel.

It stung, but she didn't mind taking the hit on Chell's behalf. "I've got you." she would reassure the other as they fell, landing a couple of yards away. Bifrost would turn on Ashe, not about to let her get away with stealing his little snack without punishment. A rapidly spinning saw blade emerged from the depths of his body, escaping through his damaged mouth and rushing at the two girls.

...But Ashe was on the ball. She quickly side stepped the saw and turned to face Bifrost, still holding Chell firmly in her arms. She didn't want to accidentally drop Chell due to any rogue squirming on the other's part. "Are you alright?" Ashe asked, not breaking eye contact with the still threatening pseudroid. She would help Chell back onto her feet if and only if she was reassured that the other was fine. Alternatively, Chell had enough wiggle room in Ashe's grasp to make ranged attacks without being put down. While being carried, Ashe will make dodge rolls on Chell's behalf.

Noteworthily, for once since they'd started their mission the infected were nowhere to be seen. It seemed the horde had et up! ...At least, for now.

Chell felt a lifting from below her by some kind of force but had not time to pay attention to that as she struggled to keep the jaws open. However, keeping it open was somewhat of a futile effort no matter how determined she was to keep them from closing. Her legs may have the benefit of knee replacement aides that kept them from getting tired but her arms had no such break and she quickly felt her strength weakening.

.... And then her strength died as the jaws finally beat her strength and she had no choice to let them crush her, not just once, but twice. She could not help but let out a scream of pain from the intense amounts of pain from getting snapped. Her body was feeling really weak from the brutal snaps now. She could barely feel her body at all from that sheer amount of pain. It was a miracle she was still alive after that, but she had to stay determined despite her battered body and torn clothes.

She could barely hear right now as she could barely hear someone say something. She could not endure much more than her and she was finding it really hard to push back against the roof of the jaws. She could barely feel her body at all but she was determined to survive and this determination is what kept her fighting. She was surprised however as she felt like she was actually succeeding in pushing back... Only to notice that what was really happening was her falling.

Fortunately was catched by who was apparently the one that helped her out of that. She would of just tried to aim for her feet under normal conditions... But right now she could barely move. She then even shielded Chell from the strapnel after the fact. Chell refused to think what would of happened if she did not help Ashe out earlier.

She then asked Chell if she was alright... And Chell felt like this was the first opportunity in an extremely long time she had a reason to speak. "... barely move... thanks..." Chell managed to utter out. Her voice was really hoarse which was hard to tell whether it was from the chewing or just not using it in forever. She did know it hurt a lot to speak right now so she was not saying anymore than that for now.

As much as Chell would love to move on her own... She could barely feel her body right now so she kind of had to rely on Ashe. Then she noticed the portal color for her gun was purple suddenly. The special function must be ready to activate and Chell decided this guy is the most deserving of whatever comes out of that purple portal right now.

Chell weakly aimed her gun at nothing in paticular and fired the Portal Gun as it shot out a purple ball of energy. This ball flattened and then expanded into some kind of portal. And out of the portal came... another Ashe. "..." Chell just had to look down at her Portal Gun in confusion for a second. But Ashe was right here but she was also right over there and... This is really confusing despite her generous amount of experience with portals. The other Ashe promptly unloaded the bullet hell that was her FS known as Giga Crush before the portal would suck the other Ashe back in before things got too weird.

Thankfully, the vicious attack of Volga's true form paid off and he was able to get free as Bifrost staggered backwards. He returned to his human form as the jumbo croc stared him down. Bifrost seemed to be trying to provoke the Dragon Knight into getting close again as he started treating Chell as a chew toy. It probably would have worked too if were not for Ashe nearly blasting the huge robot's jaw off and rescuing Chell. With Bifrost's front end being somewhat less dangerous and his attention focused on the girls, Volga saw ample opportunity to try to do the same with the crocodile's massive tail. He jumped into the air and attempted to slam his Dragon Spear into Bifrost's tail.

Ashe would spare a moment to give Chell a reassuring smile that communicated her intentions rather clearly. She was there for her and there was no need to fear. The life and story of a heroine. To her surprise however, Chell mustered the ability to attack. More than that, a portal appeared and ... she hopped out? For a moment Ashe just sort of stared at herself in bewilderment. ("Hey~! Who's good lookin' over there~?") Model A would tease as he came to his senses, just to annoy Ashe. The Mega Girl rolled her eyes, but couldn't help but smirk at the remark. "She looks pretty cool~" Ashe replied light-heartedly, not that anyone present was able to understand Model A. ("I wasn't talking about her.") Model A would quickly quip in response. Ashe raised a brow. It took her a moment to gather what Model A was implying. "Oh my god..." she groaned in protest of Model A's bad jokes. ...Dad jokes? Was that a dad joke? She had no idea what a dad sounded like and yet even she recognized the brand of humor.

Meanwhile, Chell's summoned Ashe proceeded to rip Bifrost apart with a hailstorm of bullets. It was like someone had taken a giant cheese grater to Bifrost's body, dozens upon dozens of little holes penetrating through him. Yet, even as he appeared to fall apart where he stood Bifrost yet lived. An aura of blue energy surrounded him, somehow keeping him from meeting death's embrace. This too applied to Volga's attack, which only served to kick the broken pseudroid while he was down.

"Great... Now she's multiplying!" Bifrost would remark in an uncharacteristically whiny tone. his voice sounded strained. Probably had a bullet in his voice box or something. "What's the matter? Feeling a sense of deja vu?" Ashe asked pointedly. Bifrost roared in frustration, but it came out sounding a little pathetic in his current state. "Ugh... I'll never answer to you--weak queen..." Bifrost growled out in response. Ashe grimaced at his retort. What an irritatingly stubborn man. "Ugh to you too! When do you give up?? Ashe asked. How many times had they fought now? Thrice? Bifrost emitted a resentful sigh."...Stop being weak. Seize your destiny as queen. Then--" Bifrost began to lecture, only for a flash of purple to cross his being. "GYAAA!"

Bifrost's body was cleaved in twine. Whatever had been protecting him from death before had failed him this time. "Woah!" Ashe blurted out, shifting back into a fighting position. Sure, she had her hands full with Chell, but she needed to be ready to dodge. Bifrost's body began to violently explode, leaving little in it's wake. On cue, Ashe turned and shielded Chell with her body again by hugging the other close to her. The explosion actually couldn't hurt Ashe through her armor, but boy did she look awesome with her back facing it, ponytail whipping about in the shockwave. The building rocked under the attack however. One might worry about it collapsing, and they would likely be wise, but for now it managed to remain stable. Additionally, one could hear footsteps from not far off. More infected, probably.

And who had made this ever so over-the-top entrance to the battle--you say? As the explosion cleared and the dust settled, a lone figure stood in Bifrost's place. She was surrounded by a pinkish purple aura not unlike the the one the starvia gave off. However, this aura was subtly different, and any observant party would be able to observe that it didn't quite look normal by the starvia's standards. There was an absense of shadow bug particles in the air around her and the color was slightly off.

The figure leveled her saber at the group, her eyes glowing a bright red color through the haze of her aura. She made a sweeping motion at the group, making a non-verbal challenge to the three of them. Her face was twisted into a scowl that left no room for mercy. Dare you accept?

Chell gave a sigh of relief as the foe was taken down once and for all. It was a rather shaky sigh of relief but she felt in no condition to continue fighting right now. All she had other than the turret was her own Portal Gun and it was not really intended as a weapon. Sure the energy that made the portals hurt if they hit someone but they weren't really made for that purpose. It was more a tool than it was an actual gun and Chell was not sure how effective it would be to use it as a gun. She usually used her brains but she did not see much to use.

That did not really matter however as the beast seemed relatively harmless now that it was destroyed. Chell had a weak smile at taking down the third AI to cause her so much pain... But with it getting cut it would seem she was not out of the woods like she wanted. Something else appeared and seemed to challenge them to combat. She really did not want to start another fight in her current condition.

The turret however took the challenge with all killing intent. If the stranger wanted to die, it was his choice after all. "Challenge accepted," The turret stated before firing bullets rapidly at the sword user.

... All the shots were kind of frantic though and missed as the turret fell onto it's back. Chell would of face palmed if she had more feeling in her arms. Instead, despite her lack of conversation skills, she was talking her way out of this. She really needed to survive and this... thing did not seem like GLaDOS and throw words back. If she wanted to live, she had to summon the strength to speak.

"We... do not... need to fight... It would be pointless... I can barely move... and it's not like she can fight... while holding me, right? It's not really a challenge then, is it? Might be more... worth your time to go... and wait for us to... recover our strength... Where would be the satisfaction otherwise?" Chell asked despite her body telling her to shut up. Her vocal chords were really not use to moving and moving them after that crushing did not make it any better. Her voice was about as weak as her body felt right now. Still, she had to say something to discourage a fight. Looking up she did not like the looks of her shelter. It was either convince the other to stand down or die.

Her voice gave out after the question though and she stared at the mysterious enemy. Her stare was meaningful, fierce yet also weak from her condition. She hoped that was enough to make the mysterious enemy back off... She definitely did not have the energy or strength to speak again. Her last talk was already extremely weak.

Volga was glad when Bifrost was finally taken down. However, his pleasure was short-lived as a new foe took the giant croc's place. Even though the shadowy woman didn't appear to be in the mood to talk, Chell seemed determined to talk the stranger down despite her currently weak state. Although the Dragon Knight was just as ready for another fight as the strange woman, he did not attack her. Instead, Volga kept his attention on the glowing woman. He held his Dragon Spear at the ready and answered her scowl with one of his own.
