It was a beautiful day on the shores of the old Mushroom Kingdom. The waters seemed pretty calm and the infected seemed to not be too active. The nice sea breeze swept through the coast and added to the atmosphere of the nice shorelines. The docks was the scheduled meeting place to meet the captain of this voyage. And at the docks was the famous ship throughout Rogueport known as the S.S. Flavion.



This boat was 'given' to Dimentio so he may take his crew to Keelhaul Key. The ship looked in surprisingly good shape given the ruins a lot of the Kingdom was in. If anything it should be able to make the trip to the island and back on the calm waters. At the helm of the ship was Dimentio, ready to set sail with the crew that chose to come. He has gathered all the info he felt necessary to fulfill this voyage so the trip should go well.

Clickity clack. A woman in heels was heard approaching the ship at a rapid pace. She was wearing a multi-layered pink and white gown with a stylish red sash wrapped around her waist. A familiar brooch adorned her bosom. Princess Peach set foot on the ship sporting a mockup pirate hat with a vaguely skull-like mushroom on it instead of the jolly roger. Resting casually aginst her shoulder with an eye-patch over one eye was Perry the parasol. The two seemed quite proud of themselves, Peach walking with a swing in her step and a smile on her face. When Princess Peach boarded the ship, however, her eyes drifted to Dimentio. A shiver ran down her spine as her train of thought took a detour back to the events of a particularly climactic show.

"Who's that?" Perry asked, having followed Peach's gaze.

That was the sound that the UFO that Dr. Wily piloted, as the large flying saucer landed on the dock's of the bay, as Wily hopped out, wearing a single Wily-themed Bandana with a skull and crossbones on it. Gotta fit the theme, after all. He would of gone with his Ninja Jammies, but, in these parts, Pirates and Ninja's are known to claw at each others eyes. The crochity old fart ran down the pier, running right past any other living person or thing, and diving head first into the ship, yelling "ITS ALL MIIIIIIINE!", Before smashing his head into the poopdeck.

"...I thought the treasure was already here!" He said, proving wily really didnt read the entire mission briefing. "Curses, I've been tricked into helping someone...!"

Ah, finally back out for another adventure. Davy had been waiting to set back out and with such luck. New land! He was thrilled. When the offer to go across the waters, he couldn't pass it up. The adventurous robot made his way to the docks as fast as he could.



His feet met the wood with a quick and continous rhythm of thumps as he boarded the ship. Even his footsteps radiated with excitement. "A fine vessel," he said as he looked over the ship, tilting his head back so he could look over every element. He didn't quite know what the deal was with the star pattern that lined the sides in back. Maybe a custom of the owner's land? Ah, who cares. His attentions dropped from the sails and over to the side, where he kneeled down and placed a hand upon the wooden flooring as he looked over across the water. The view was spectacular. Visions of what could come began forming in his processors of what was to come as his eyes became lost in the waves. The lights lining the top of is cap began to light up. "Mighty fine," he whispered from beneath his mouth guard.


Rising from his daydreaming session, he turned his attention to the front of the ship where he suspected the captain to be. What he had in mind was not what he saw but it didn't bother him much. "I assume you are the captain of this vessel, my good sir?" he questioned as he stepped up to the jester, outstretching a hand for a good old fashion handshake. Whether he did or not was his choice as if he didn't take up the offer, Davy would retract his hand. His scanners went over the jester for a bit before facing back up at him. Certainly an odd fellow. "It's a beautful day for such exploration. I used to do much of the same before I ended up here." His eyes curled up a bit with his muzzle following upwards, his way of smiling. "If you need any help, I'd be happy to. I've seen many places in my days." He eagerly awaited the captain's words.



After the exchange of words, he would turn to head down and catch eye of the lady in pink. The outfit looked comical to him, making him laugh.  The bone-filled style that a pirate would make you think of.  Even the umbrella had a little bit going on.  "Haha! Ready for the seas are you?" he called out to her while waving a hand. Maybe they were taking this whole pirate thing a bit too seriously. It was that yet another one was in the same style of attire. The loud squealing of the ship caught his attention. Quite annoying for the thing. The old man running out reminded him somewhat of his creator.  Maybe a bit more colorful.

Dimentio watched the docks as he noticed something that was quite the surprise. It was not exactly a pleasant surprise either for the jester thought he might of avoided the heroes pretty well. It was only a matter of time before he ran into one of the four as it would seem. Dimentio did not show his frustration as his face stayed the same. The princess even seemed to remember him, how sweet.

"Why if it isn't the ravenous princess. It is such a pleasant surprise to see you again. I suppose you weren't expecting moi? You mustn't worry like a woman about to lose everything she loves due to a tragic event. I assure you I have seen the errors of my ways. I only use my magical splendor for more good acts now," Dimentio falsely reassured before turning his attention to the two other crewmates.

Some old man seemed to also be dressed like a irate. He also did not seem to read the message to it's entirety. The other one seemed really excited for the adventure ahead... maybe a little too excited. Dimentio shook his hand regardless for appearances. "Your magneficant adventure skills I am sure will come in handy. I am grateful for your appearance. I am the plunderer of booty, the wonder of the seas, Dimentio!~"

Dimentio then snapped his finger and teleported to the wheel of the ship. "Now I think we should begin our voyage like a bunch of vacationers on a titan that can not withstand it's reputation!~" Dimentio declared before moving the ship off into the waters to cut off objections.

The sailing continued for some time undisturbed in the calm waters. However, some point at sea the sky began to get dark clouds in the sky blacking it out. The waves got rougher as well without warning as if they were disturbed by the crew's presence. In addition an eerie fog rolled in making it hard to see.

"Arr! We're here to steal your hearts~!" Perry remarked in response to Davy. His child-like voice didn't lend itself to pirate imitations well, but he seemed to be having a good time. Peach waved awkwardly, forcing a smile onto her face.

Peach was quickly distracted however by Dimentio. Now wait just a moment; she understood some of those words! Her cheeks turned a nice shade of red at his remarks and she made a face that suggested she was less than impressed with Dimentio's miraculous turnaround. She was oblivious, not gullible! ...Or was she gullible, not oblivious? Either way, she wasn't really buying Dimentio's change of heart. It occurred to her that she would be out at sea with this magician, perhaps for quite some time, far from the reach of a hero.

Somehow, Peach was a little anxious about this mission.

"...What does splendor mean?" Perry asked after a moment, as the ship began to pull away. Judging by his tone, it wasn't the only part of what Dimentio had said he didn't understand.

Princess Peach squinted into the fog, her grip on Perry tightening a bit as the waters became rough. She sure hoped it didn't start storming; she'd probably be the only person on the ship with an umbrella, an awkward position to be in during a storm. Perhaps more importantly, she hoped this ominous weather wasn't indicative of anything even worse to come. She didn't know too much about sea travel, but this seemed like the sort of weather you might expect to herald a giant blooper. "Does this weather give you a bad feeling?" Perry asked. He had noticed Peach's anxiety based on the way she was holding him and gazing intently out to see. Peach glanced at him and nodded. "Mmh hmm!" she replied in a matter of fact tone.

How...How could this have happened. Wily looked over the side, reaching for the dock to hopefully get out of having to...*gulp* Help someone, But, it was too late, as he made his grasp, The ship took off,  pulling wily along for a doomed ride. "Nooooooooo....." Wily said in a sad way, akin to a child who was just barely able to grab a peice of candy, before there parents pulled him away.

This was gonna be a long day. Hopefully Bass wasnt messing up the fortress. Nah, he's probably in his room, jamming out to the 'Linkin Park's' or the 'Seven inch nails" or "Korn on the Kob."

Wily was most certainly regretting the trip now, as his head was hung over the other end of the ship, having puked a good 4 or 5 times now. Seems the trip was giving him quite a bit of an upset stomach. He looked up, his eyes closed, moustache twitching as he groaned.


"Does this weather give you a bad feeling?"


Huh? Wily looked at Perry, raising a ridiculously oversized eyebrow at him. "What weather? It's as clear as night out h-...Fog?" Wily looked at the fog in the distance,before running straight to the front of the ship. "Oh heck no! I know how this story goes, I HAVE READ SO MANY PIRATE STORIES WHILE MAKING PIRATE MAN, I KNOW WHAT THIS FOG IS. AND LET ME TELL YOU, I AINT MEETING DAVY JONES YET!!!" Wily ranted, as he took out his Wily Ray Gun, and started firing into the fog.

Davy let out a joyful laugh. It started to slow after he swiftly realized that the young lady's lips did not move during that statement. "Heh... heh..." It slowed to halt as puzzlement met him. Did that parasol just speak? He eyed the tool on her shoulder for a bit before heading to the side of the ship.



The robotic adventurer stood over by the side of the ship as it began to take off. This was surely going to be a great use of his time. He watched the ship split through the waves, making it's way to treasure unknown. Unknownst to him at least. Every new place was journey. A story yet to be told. A new chapter in his logs which he could tell to others some day. Davy stood tall as he watched.



Some time into the trip led to darkness pouring in. Davy focused in on the fog. Perhaps it was simply some bad weather, no harm to be done. As the degree of the storm increased however, Davy's view began to fade. "This can't be good," he stated. The sea did not want them to be treading in this area. The robot was not feeling threatened even in the circumstances. Simply time to stop goofing off and get serious. "Take caution!" he called out to the others aboard.  His stance stayed as he continued to search for anything within the fog.

Nothing happened as the energy from Wily's gun blasted through the fog. It was almost as if he was trying to shoot the weather or something. The light from the energy just flew through the fog before the light was drowned out by it's thickness. The weather did nothing though but appear to be very eerie and foreboding... and hard to see through but that is probably not the concern.

That is until a spanish voice that sounded like it was trying to hard to sound like a ghost broke to the boat. "OOOooooooooooo, you amigos reeeeeeally should not have come heeeeeeere. You are trespassing on the seas of the Great Pirate Cortez, Oooooooooo. For that, yooooooooooou shall suffer severe consequences, amigos, Oooooooooooo," the voice said though it seemed disembodied.

After the voice finished it's warnings, thousands of blue flames with yellow eyes appeared and surrounded the ship. The flames did not seem bothered by the seas as if they were more spiritual in nature. "Now, attack me Amigos! OOoooooooo," The voice finished as 3 of the Embers boarded the ship. Accompaning them was 2 Dry Bones crawling onto the ship, assumingly from the deaths of the seas.

Princess Peach tensed as an ever so spooky presence made itself heard from the sea. ...Oh. OH. So it was going to be that kind of cruise. "Those are a lot of ghosts. They must have been lost at sea. The poor things..." she mused aloud, glancing around as the undead began closing in on them. Peach drew back slightly, holding Perry level with her side. "I wonder if we could befriend them..." the princess went on thoughtfully. "...I don't think so!" Perry replied incredulously. This, however, failed to faze Peach. Psh, have a little faith Perry! Regardless, Perry's head began to glow with magical power. He was charging up for an attack.

Peach just sort of picked one of the approaching undead closest to her and called out to them. "Hello..! My name is Princess Peach." she introduced, placing a free hand over her heart. "Honestly? I don't wanna fight. Wouldn't it be nicer to have tea and talk? I bet it's been a while since anyone has listened to your story..." Peach said, appealing to the undead's humanity. Perry was decidedly speechless.

"Oh no you dont! Wily is OUTTA HERE!" The old man said, as he attempted to make a scram for it, heading to a large box over on the ship!

Wily leaped, putting his hands before him as he slid on the poopdeck, and then flipping the wooden crate under himself, effectively trapping himself in a wooden safe box. Slowly, wily opened up the top of the crate, sticking out a single eye to make sure none of those spooky skeletons were heading his way.

Davy continued his search until the sudden blue fire surprised him and made him fall backwards onto the ship's hard flooring. "Gah!" he yelled, hitting the floor then to get back up on his feet. Ghost? Well, that's new. Almost like something out of an old black and white film. He listened to the sea of Os, feeling like a child was trying to scare, albeit poorly. The fact that the spirits wanted THEM to throw the first punches seemed odd. No matter. With enough lads on deck, this should be nothing.

Davy had found himself on a ship of cowards. The old coot had thrown himself into a barrel while the lady in pink tried to soothe them. Again, that out-of-nowhere voice spoke again. That parasol is talking. Lovely. The robot placed a hand over his face and muttered a phrase that couldn't be identified but sounded like an angry mumbling. "I am not looking to fight. I only desire to explore," he said to the spirits of the sea. "If you will not allow me to pass without one," his footing changed as he held down onto the ship for balance, "it shall be in place."

Two of the Embers looked at Peach as she proposed tea instead of a fight. They were spirits of cruel pirates so they were not sure why she would be offering. They were here to destroy them for trespassing on their territory!... Still, tea sounds pretty tasty after all these millinea.

The Embers then realized that they were spirtual flames and could not eat or drink! It has been so long since they have had a meal and she was teasing them! How dare she disrespect the dead by holding things they can not properly enjoy over their heads! This girl was much more cruel than the nice demeanor let on! They will show her for mocking the pirate minions of the legendary Cortez! With their rage, one fired a ball of blue fire at Peach while the other one breathed breathed blue flame breath at her.

One of the Dry Bones walked over to Wily and smacked a large bone in his hand intimidately. But then the Dr. gave the bones a spin as he hid. The Dry Bones looked around to see if he could figure out where he hid.

The Doctor was way too fast and way too pro a hider. He then looked to the robot and decided to team up with an Ember that was staring him down. The Ember looked to the Dry Bones running towards them and spit a blue fire ball at him. The Dry Bones then smacked the fire ball at Davy for a Home Run.

The other Dry Bones walked towards the steering wheel of the ship and slammed his bone down at the jester. The jested did not move... And poofed into smoke as the bone hit. The Dry Bones was confused at the weird attack as the real Dimentio appeared to blast the skeletal turtle with magic.

The Dry Bones did not see the counter coming and got blasted in the back. The undead koopa pirate fell to the ground and laid there in pain.

The Embers surrounding the ship got closer as the ship shook a little. There seems to be way too many to hold off for long but they did not seem like they were attacking... At least the crew. It seems the surrounding pirate souls wanted to break the vessel instead.

Princess Peach watched the spirits ever so innocently as they plotted against her, oblivious to the danger she was in. Surely, these forsaken spirits would appreciate the company of a lady! What sort of seaman didn't?

It wasn't until a fireball came right at her that Peach realized something had gone very wrong. The princes emitted a shrill scream as the flames washed over her, startled by the sensation. Luckily, her perfume and makeup weren't flammable. Couldn't have her hair going up in a fireball in the middle of a battle could she?

Princess Peach gracefully slipped aside of the fire breath, shifting into a more combative pose. One could see the disappointment on her face. "I would rather talk things out..." Peach began, regret in her tone. "But you guys are bad to the bone~" Perry interrupted. Peach hesitated. Normally she wouldn't appreciate being interrupted, but a giggle escaped her lips as she recognized the pun. "I take no pleasure in doing this spirits, but you must know..." Peach went on, deliberately leaving the sentence open for Perry to finish. "...Love burns hotter than fire~!" Perry finished, grinning cheekily at the embers.

Peach lunged forward, spreading her arms and conjuring a rainbow betwixt them with which to assault the embers with fabulousness! (10% chance to cause the embers to spontaneously burst into song.)
