Mission Brief: There is a faint distress signal that pulses ever so slowly to the Life Sphere's Sunshine Circle Module. The area points to the Essence Extraction and some faded voices can be heard, muffled, but audible, asking for help. They also distort and cut away from time to time.

"Help us....Samus is...."

"Mario, Sonic, we are all in over our heads!"

Zzzt.

"Please send help! We can't-"

The voices cut away and the signal is lost. A rough estimation of the signal origins is calculated and seen on the module. That's the only information you receive.

Objective: Follow the signal and save those in distress.

Sub-Objective: Keep an eye out for Mario, Sonic, Samus, or E.Gadd.

Mission Reward(s): Surprise.

"Well I was already there before, and since the Gang Wars are still happening and that mission with Zennon was cancelled, I'll join and help find that signal...I gotta feeling something is wrong with Mario and Sonic lately and them missing just tops it."

And so Paula joins another dangerous mission to the Essence Extraction to find out about the distress signal...And maybe discover something interesting.

With a loud smash along the ground, a large looming beat looks upon the glowing screen, wavelength's reading as a bladed tail makes a loud, screeching scratch along the floor, eyes narrowing as it looked darkly at the screen.

In the demon's silence, it raised a single tipped finger, placing it upon the "ACCEPT" button, letting out a few clicks in the direction of his slaves, to let them know what was happening, as well as telling them to track the signal, his deep voice letting out one name...

"Samus Aran..."

Tails laid down in his secret lab... which was right under his normal lab. He did not wish to participate in the Gang Wars no matter what and this was just his area of emergency. He was thinking about how Sonic has been acting and how Eggman acted during his talk about A.I.M... Tails almost felt like he trusted Eggman more at that moment than he trusted Sonic which felt really wrong. It was really abnormal for him to trust Eggman at all, let alone more than Sonic. Was his subconscious trying to tell him something? Was this related to Tails Doll's warning? Was there something Tails was not noticing, or refusing to notice that he actually knows. Tails let out a deep sigh. There has to some explanation for Sonic's actions. Tails is just going to have to be brave and ask him. They were best friends, it's not like he would get seriously mad.

As Tails thought that, he was surprised as his radio turned on. "'Help us? A distress Signal?!" Sonic's name was then mentioned in the broadcast. There was too much static to make out much of the signal. Sonic's name was said in it though, that was for certain. Was Sonic there or was he being contacted? Either way, Tails doubted he would stay behind when someone is in danger, acting strange or not! Tails got up from his bed and started to head for the Tornado 2. He had to track that signal and find out more. Tails is in.

Star Fox listens intently to the mission distress eyeing the call for help in the cold, bitter night with all of the Life Sphere neatly sealed away into their homes and the terrifying ring of bombs and guns going off in the distance as the Gang Wars rage on. He is briefed on the mission silently scanning over the objectives and cutting a stare at any hidden meanings to try to piece together what it could all be about. He smirks.

"Well Fox old boy....time to get back at it....Hmm....Falco....I wonder...? No matter, I'm on this."

Fox using his fingers frames a picture around the log and gives a nod. He would remember this moment. He would remember when he returned to combat.

PAC-MAN listened in on the noise. Mario was in trouble. He hadn't seen the plumber in a long time but he had to go help his pal out, he wasn't going to leave him in danger.

This was probably a bad idea. But whoever these people were, they needed help. What was this essence extraction point, exactly? Hell, he didn't know. But either way, it didn't sound safe. Did it matter? Nah. He's fine, right?

I think I'm going to back Peach and Ashe out of this mission. Apologies for flaking, but y'know... As much as I wanted to be here, thread kinda floundered and I'm having lots of fun with other threads.
