The Jungle..Paula kept on having dreams about this place lately, it mainly involved her walking around said jungle with no animals or starvia in sight..Finally after a few minutes of walking she found something..What she found however was never discovered as Paula always kept waking up from the dream after hearing a voice of a young women singing a toon that was oddly familiar..She just couldn't put her finger on it.


But enough about that.


Paula decided to take this resource mission since the Tournaments are on a break until her partner Shaymin defeats Pac-Man or gets defeated by him, in either case she will either face her own teamate or a person that looks like a slice of pizza in the next part, but luckily they were not as dangerous as Wario, aka the creepy man that almost killed her at the tournaments a day ago.

Paula was currently wearing a white sweater with a dark and light green striped skirt with something on her hair..That was odd i thought Paula did not wear bows anymore after giving her old one to Amaterasu, she was not wearing a bow actually..Upon a further look it was a clover hairpiece, must of found it somewhere..Either way it looked nice.


"Nearly there..Thank goodness Zelda will be joining me..Its nice to have friends coming with you in one of the most dangerous places of LI." Paula thought to herself as she stopped near the jungle entrance and slowly landed with a basket in hand, which she brung along so she can place the Golden Bananas in.

Paula landed near the entrance and looked at the jungle in amazement. "What a nice place..Well dangerous at the same time..But this part of the jungle..I saw it in those dreams i keep having." Paula thought to herself as she sat at a nearby rock to wait for the former princess of Hyrule..Well hopefully still as Zelda, she couldn't wait to begin this simple mission as she wanted time to relax in these stressful times.

After all..Nothing will go wrong in a simple resource mission like this....

Zelda's shoes gave a loud clap against the ground as the battle princess walked to the jungle, dressed in her usual set of dress/armor with silver tiara and earrings. The only part of her clothes that were different were her footwear, and...well, if you're going through a jungle, you wouldn't be too excited to wear high heels either, would you? Zelda also carried her own basket over her right hand, so her left was free to attack with, in case infected decided to arrive.

Zelda looked around, tapping her chin as she looked for her ally, until finding paula close by, sitting down. "Ah, Paula!" She said, waving to her as zelda walked over to her friend. "Good to see you again. Shall we?" Zelda asked smiling as she showed her own basket upon seeing paula's.

As Paula waited she soon saw Zelda appear, she looked a bit different then when she saw her appearance during Tail's rescue last time, but she was glad the Princess continued to show her true self to this very day. "Hello again Zelda." Paula said happily as she jumped off the rock. "Yeah lets go..If we follow that path over there then we can get to the tree in no time, hopefully the Starvia has not gotten to it yet." Paula said pointing to the path that would lead to the Tree, she started to walk into the jungle following it.



As Paula and seemingly Zelda walk into the Jungle they would notice the lack of Starvia infected animals around, "Hmm..Something weird is going on, shouldent we be attacked by infected by now?" Paula said to Zelda as she kept an eye out for any infected, she soon felt a minor earthquake which almost made her dizzy. "Whoa, those must the earthquakes the Toad mentioned, they seem to be ok for now...But i guess there's no sign of any Starvia infected, we should keep an eye out to make sure, i think were almost to the tree anyway." Paula continued as noticed the area she was in slowly resembling where she was in her dream, but she shook it off.


While walking Paula decided to chat with Zelda since nothing appears to be happening yet.

"I'm glad this resource mission came to be, it was getting pretty intense around the Life Sphere, so Zelda how are you doing these past few days?"

Zelda gave a happy smile to paula's greeting, nodding as she started walking down the path paula had pointed for. "Of course." Zelda gave as small confirmation, as she began making way right behind paula. Paula did bring up the lack of starvia, which, zelda didn't find all that odd. honestly, the longer she could take away from fighting, the better. "It's a little off, but, one cant complain too much over not being att-!" Zelda then unexpectedly stumbled a little, regaining her balance before she made a swift tumble onto the ground, standing still as the small earthquake vanished. "..Slightly more odd.." Zelda said, brushing her dress of and continuing to walk along the path.

Zelda looked at paula, as she seemed to start bringing up some idle conversation. "Oh, ive not done that much. Helped look for survivors around hyrule crater, and took up a few...miss...ions..." Zelda said, as she kinda kept walking with a dead eyed expression on her face, as her mind made her remember...twisting expressions of all her friends and family, the sounds of horrid midi files...And there voices....

"GREAT!"

"I wonder what's for...DINNAH!"

"Yeah i guess your right, the less of that..Infection the better." Paula said trying to sound like they would be lucky in this mission since they have not encountered any infected so far. "They might of hid somewhere anyway due to the earthquakes." Paula said as she quickly stopped when another small earthquake occurred "Dont move." Paula quickly said. This time the earthquake lasted a bit longer then the other one. "Phew..Almost fell, but it was longer then the last." she said.

"Oh me?" Paula said as she talked about what she did for the past few days. "Well i kind of left The Life Sphere for a bit when The Gang Wars happened to help Adell take down someone..Nothing much happened after that..Apart from some odd dreams i keep on having." Paula said, not wanting Zelda to freak out should she say she almost got killed by Wario yesterday, but since she mentioned her dream to her partner she might as well talk about it more. "The dream involved me finding something around here, but i always keep waking up when i try and see what it is..That's also one of the reasons i took this mission..To see if its trying to tell me something...It happened to Ness before, but so far theres nothing around here that resembles the area on what i found in the dream." Paula said as she suddenly stopped.


"Look Zelda, i think we found the tree." Paula said as she pointed to the tree they were looking for.




   


The tree looked wonderful and better then all the other overgrown or rotten trees in the jungle, if the two walked closer they would notice the golden bananas hanging from the tree...At the very top..Within the wood and leafs. "Darn..I thought they would close to the bottom, but i have an idea." Paula said as she looked towards Zelda. "I'll fly in the tree and drop the bananas in the two baskets, while you stay here and keep an eye out on infected." Paula said to Zelda as she looked towards the tree.



"What do you think..Want to do it the other way around if your interested in climbing?"

Zelda looked at paula as she explained her dream situation, before giving a inquisitive "...Hm." Zelda herself was no stranger to dreams that left her confused. Sight's of her playing the Goddess harp in the field's, Until a black void seemed to start destroying the land itself to get to her. Though, zelda's dream was a little more direct about the evil occurring, When Volga and Wizzro arrived that same day.

Zelda looked up at the tree, gasping a little at the sight of a non-infected tree for once. "Ah...!" Zelda appeared almost a little awestruck, as it had been quite a while she'd seen one so gorgeous. and even better it still bore fruit!

Zelda started thinking. Theoretically, zelda could just change into Sheik, and have a easier way finding her way up using her ninja abilities, but considering paula's shorter size, paula could just as easily do the same. Not only that, Paula was more a Healer in a fight, thus, it seemed the tree climber had been selected. "Alright, ill stay on the ground. Here', i'll give you a boost up to that branch." Zelda said, cupping her hand's and getting in a kneeling position, beckoning paula over so she could lift the Polestar up into the tree.

Unknown to Paula and Zelda a car was quickly racing towards the jungle, its drivers unknown, but giggling of small girls can be heard from the inside. "Are we there yet?" Two voices said from the inside of the vehicle. "Yeah..Like are we almost done with this car ride, i feel dizzy to the point that i can feel my make up fall into my mouth." Another voice said. "Girls, stop being impatience..Cant you see were at the entrance of the Jungle." A fourth voice said, possibly the driver. A finger pointed towards the jungle. "Hmm..We just need to wait for the epic earthquake to hit..So far there's only short and minor ones."


"Aww..." The three other voices said in disappointment.

"Dont fret..Nothing can stop us from getting to the temple at this rate...


Which means..It will soon be mine..."

"Thanks." Paula said cheerfully as she jumped to the first branch with the help of Zelda, she quickly floated upwards towards the location of the Golden Bananas. "I'll give you the signal when i'm about to the drop the bananas!" Paula said to Zelda as she continued to float towards them. "Almost there.." Paula said as she was about to reach the first banana.


When another Earthquake happened.

"Woah!" Paula said as a short yet rough earthquake hit the area this time, she quickly grabbed on a nearby branch..Which started to break in half. Paula gasped but saw another one, she tried to grab onto the other branch before the other breaks.

Paula barely grabbed onto the other branch as the other one cracked in half and fell towards Zelda. "Zelda look out, incoming branch!" Paula called down below as the earthquake stopped.

(Zelda has to roll a DEX 5 to dodge the branch.)

After that little incident Paula managed to climb up to where the Golden Bananas were. "Finally..Looks like the Earthquakes are starting to get worse..Better make this quick." Paula said as she grabbed the first batch of Bananas. "Ok Zelda i made it, i'm going to drop the bananas below, since its a bit quicker, so catch!" Paula said as she dropped the Bananas towards Zelda and the Baskets.

(Zelda also needs to roll another DEX Roll this time 10 or higher to catch the fallen Golden Bananas.)1d20+2

Zelda winced after feeling yet another small earthquake, looking up to paula. "Be carefull!" She said to twoson's psionic child, holding onto the basket as she sighed, looking around for guard, until hearing Paula yell out...

"Branch Incoming!"

"Huh??" Zelda said, looking upward as she tried to avoid the sudden branch falling right for her.

Zelda was unfortunately unable to avoid the branch, as well as not being able to make any form of blocking action for the branch, as she attempted to get her rapier out to slice through the falling wood before it hit, but was smashed right in her arm. "Ah!" Zelda let out a shrill cry as she clutched her wrist. "I-i'm fine!" She said to paula, motioning her to bring the banana's down.

However, zelda wasnt about to let these bannana's get out of her grasp, as she threw down a smokebomb quickly to signify a quick transformation into Sheik, so that her catching ability would be much better compared to her princess mode...

Zelda dived forward, just barely catching the golden bannana by it's bottom, lifting it up happily "I got it!" She said, smiling happily though her bandadged mask. With that, zelda tossed the bannana into her basket. "Is that all of them, or are there more up there??"

As Paula dropped the last of the golden bananas towards Zelda she looked back to see if there was anymore bananas just in case she missed any..Looks like there aren't. Just then Zelda called up to Paula to ask if there was any bananas left, her voice sounding deeper as usual, probably in her Sheik persona. "No Zelda..Or Sheik, all of them have been dropped, i'm coming down now." Paula called down to the Princess as she prepared to climb down the tree..Or float down.


Just then another earthquake happened..However this one was a lot more different then the other ones.


This earthquake was a very rough one and seemed to be as long as all the other earthquakes that had happened so far combined. As it got worse trees can be seen in the jungle falling over and even bits of ground ripping open to form holes, the golden banana trees roots started to disconnect from the ground as it begun shaking like the other trees..But in a very slow pace.


However Paula struggled to hold onto the part of the tree she was on. "Uh oh, Zelda be careful!" She called down as she accidently slipped from the part of the tree she was hanging on. "Whoa!" She said as managed to grab onto another branch..Looks like she's safe..If the earthquake dose not break said branch.

"Please don't break, please don't break, please don't break."

The Earthquake soon subsided and Paula stood at another part of the tree. "Almost fell, could of been messy." She said to herself as she started her journey down the tree towards Zelda.

Speaking of Zelda..Or Sheik.

Nothing happened to her much when the earthquake happened, however as soon as it stopped more trees started to tumble down nearby..And a car engine was heard, it kept getting louder near Sheik until a glimpse of a car was seen nearby the princess, going through the jungle, if the princess could hear close enough singing can be heard, the song that was heard seemed to be "This Old Man." who in this version seemed to playing knick knack paddy whack on hi--


"Finally i'm down." Paula said as she slid down from the tree and to Zelda/Shiek. "Oh i see your really are Sheik now, thanks for getting the bananas..I guess this mission is done?" Paula said as she looked up to her partner after inspecting the banana filled baskets..That was when she noticed the trees.

"Huh?" Paula said as she looked at the trees that fell during the earthquake and when the car rammed into them.

"That's strange..A lot of trees fell more then normally in that earthquake..And are those tire marks over there?"1d20+2

Sheik  smiled as she stood up straight, only for the resulting earthquake to make the ninja-princess start to stumble for a moment, but trying to keep her balance straight enough so that she wouldn't face plant. Sheik gave a sigh of relief upon seeing she was still on her feet. That was then she's hear a tremendous roar of an engine, making sheik stand up straight as she looked toward the source of the noise. And sure enough, sheik would catch a glimpse of the shine of metal, and the sound of a...Nursery rhyme?

Sheik sighed upon paula coming down next to her, looking toward the tire marks. Part of her was telling her "the mission was done, lets head home"....Yet another part of her, the desperately heroic side decided that it was worth investigating. "As much as i'd hate to say it...I think this mission is far from over." Sheik said, looking at the tire marks. "I think someone is causing these earthquake's, and if i were a betting woman, they would be the one's driving in the car...Either way, someone driving around like no tomorrow in the infected wastes is enough to warrant a search." She said, thinking this could very well be someone on the side of Black Shadow, or worse yet, some new villain. Better to strike them down now, before some really bad things start.

"I say we follow the tire marks." Sheik said, looking to paula to see if she would agree to come along. "If you don't wish to come, then neither will i." Sheik said, knowing fully well she'd rather go discover the car with a friend by her side.

As Paula looked at the tiremarks, Sheik wanted to investigate, saying the mission is far from over. "Your right, maybe they have some device that's causing the earthquakes or something, eitherway we should see whoever was driving that vehicle was doing, they might accidently run into infected..Maybe a horde of them...We should at least warn them if they act nice." Paula said as she turned towards Sheik who asked if Paula wanted to finish the mission right here and now.


"Nope..Lets start this investigation and hope whoever was driving the car is good and helpful." Paula said as she ran to where the two banana filled baskets were. "I'll carry the baskets Zelda since i feel like carrying something." Paula said as she grabbed the baskets and followed the tiremarks. As she kept walking she waited for another earthquake to occur..But they did not. "Weird..The earthquakes just suddenly..Stopped?" Paula said as she kept walking further into the jungle, she noticed the path looking familiar.

"This path...Everything around here..I seen all of this before...In my dreams...Unless."

That was when she noticed something up ahead.

"I see something!" Paula said as she was about to run towards what she saw, when she tripped over something and fell. "Ahh." Paula said as she landed on the ground, holding the baskets in the air to keep them from falling. "I wonder what tripped me over." Paula said as placed the baskets on the ground and looked at the object she tripped over...




"A Ring?" Paula said as grabbed the ring and looked at it.

"Why is something like this doing here?"

Sheik nodded toward paula as she agree'd with her to continue on this mission. Sheik started on her way, walking along the tire tracks with paula to follow these Car driving hooligans. Sheik was in a bit of a hurry, more power walking to the car as she held back on her speed to let paula keep catching up. That was, until paula tripped over herself. Sheik sighed in relief to see the basket was high up in the air, A-ok. "Are you ok...?" She asked, sighing a little to see paula was ok as well, but she now was clutching onto a ring.

"Strange...Perhaps the people in the car had it?" She suggested, before starting to walk again, slower, so that paula could keep going along with her. "Keep it on you. If there good people, they would appreciate having there ring back."

Paula looked at the ring, wondering what purpose it had in this jungle, Sheik suggested to hold it in case it belonged to one of the people in the car. "Your probably right, lets keep going." Paula said as was about to place the ring onto her finger since she did not want it slip out of her pocket...She also wanted to see if it will do anything should she put it on.


However before she could do that a bird had suddenly appeared and snatched the ring off of Paula. "Hey!" Paula said in surprise as she watched the bird begin its flight in the air for the ring. "Whoops..That's going to be harsh to tell the ring holder." Paula said as she grabbed the baskets of bananas instead, however the bird quickly flew into a tree causing him to drop the ring into a nearby river, he coughed before flying up forgetting the ring, Paula watched as she saw the ring float away.


"Uh oh..Hopefully someone finds it, i think the rivers around here either take you to Pocket Monster cove or just out in sea...Usually people from shops go there to find something rare..But surely someone will find it and take it to a lost and found." Paula said to Sheik as she followed the princess towards what she saw. "Sorry about losing the ring Sheik, but the people in the car will probably be ok with that...If they don't have snobbish attitudes." Paula said as the two finally made it to the location of the car.

As Paula pushed a few branch's away..She saw it..





A large temple had appeared in the middle of the jungle..It seemed like it just appeared following the earthquake as it looked like it was not here before..Judging that the path she and Sheik had just taken resembled the one she took in her dream..Was that the thing the she found before waking up? In the front part of the temple the stairs leading to a large door is mostly broken while two statues of a young women were standing nearby, covered in vines and most of its parts broken off..Speaking of the large door to the inside, it is closed off and looks like it cannot be open.

"Sheik..What if this was the thing i found in my dreams?" Paula said to her partner..However just then the car that Sheik found had appeared, it stopped when it was near the temple and one of its doors opened..Paula simply watched as the being inside the vehicle came..Or in this case jumped out of the car.



The driver appeared to be..A young girl? She looked angry as she gave a scornful look towards the temple. "Holy crap..Its gotten old since 1899." She said bitterly loud, she did not appear to notice Sheik or Paula, she walked towards the temple to look at how damaged the stairs were. "Ugh..Those stairs are broken..We need Ambrosias stupid ring now." She said as turned towards the car.

"Pollies! What the hell are you waiting for..Get out here now!"



"Polly Lockhill is present."




"So am i, Polly Locksmith!"



"And me Polly Lockside..Are we finally here, like wow that temples huge..I cant believe Ambrosia was given all of this."

"Yes yes, were all here including me..Polly Lockheart!" The blonde haired girl said as the four girls giggled before looking at the temple. "So what are we going to do now?" Lockside said. "Obvi..Were going to find the ring of Ambrosia..its gotta be around here somewhere...Once that's in our hands everything will be easy from here." Lockheart said.


Meanwhile Paula and Shiek were still not noticed by the four girls..Paula was just confused on who this Ambrosia lady was, but briefly panicked when they mentioned a ring..Could it be the same ring she just lost to the bird? She quickly calmed down and looked towards Sheik. "They look like a bunch of mean girls, should we introduce ourselves or do you want to sneak around the temple to get a better look without running into those four?" Paula said as she looked towards her partner.


Meanwhile for the Pollies..They quickly whispered something between themselves that Paula and Shiek cannot hear.


"Ok girls remember, take out the weapons if anyone comes near us."


"Right!"

"Right!"

"Oh right, sorry..Hehehe!"

Sheik looked at the bird grab the ring out of paula's hands, making sheik instinctively grab onto her Kunai, preparing to kill the bird mid-flight..until it hit a tree, and fell itno the river, leaving the ring far beyond there reach. Sheik lowered her throwing needles, sighing as she shook her head. "Hope it wasn't too important..." Sheik said, as she just kept on her way. "It's alright, nothing could of been done. It's fate." She said. If the three goddesses willed for there to be a bird to grab the ring and send it to god knows where, let it be....Then again, the three goddesses also let hyrule be turned into a crater...Perhaps this religion is quite flawed. Not that she was gonna complain, of course, because shooting light arrows is fun.

And low and behold, a large temple, possibly Aztec in nature. Seemed to be quite old... "Well, as ive said before, this being the source of your dreams is more than possible...Considering ive once had a dream about dark forces marching to hyrule, and in 8 short hours, they came and did much of what my dream said they would..." Sheik said, remembering Wizzro and Volga's attack. Sheik was in firm belief this was what paula's dream showed. "If you can, try to remember more of your dream. It may help us..." Sheik whispered, as she spotted the car and...4 little girls??

They all shared the same name, and a theme of there last name having "Lock" in it, somehow. What cruel parenting, to name there children like that. Regardless, sheik listened in as best they could...And they mentioned a ring.....Ah, Dodongo Crap...

"I'd prefer we sneak around, and get a good look at out surroundings...I'd prefer not to have the mental debate of beating up children." She whispered to paula, giving a firm answer as she immediately started moving from cover, heading to the left way around the temple.

"I'm sorry about what happened to Hyrule." Paula said when Sheik mentioned the dream she had that basically predicted Cias short uprising, anyway Paula agreed to sneak to the back of the temple since the Pollie's will probably be a hassle and they will probably not take kindly if they mentioned the ring they just lost.


"Right lets be careful." Paula said as she tried to sneak behind Sheik to the back of the temple.

The two were quiet on sneaking past the pollie's and they soon made it to the back of the temple, however nothing interesting was found at the temple, even the stairs were more destroyed then they were at the front. "Hmm..Nothings here, and we cant get up from this part either." Paula said, she tried to remember the dream she had. "Hmm..I cant seem to remember what else happened in the dream."

"Dream you say?" A high voice said as Paula quickly turned around to notice the pollie's pointing powerful rayguns at the two, her eyes widened but quickly spoke. "Oh..Hello..What brings you girls here to this temple?" She said hoping the Pollies will lower there weapons..But they did not. "That's what we want to know as well..How did you know about Ambrosias temple?" Lockheart said sounding more angry like before.


"Uhh Polly they might b--"

"SHUT IT LOCKSIDE...Now tell us..Was it because of that dream you mention?!"
