Shaymin looked upon the temple of violence that was the Sunshine Stadium. It was not sure how much it's legendary might could handle some of these fearsome competitors... none of whom Shaymin will seem to be facing considering Shaymin was put on the side of the brackets with the weird yellow thing, teenage girl, and 2-Dimensional Man. Guess that will turn to be a plus if Shaymin does not make it past the Semi-Finals.
Rallying up it's confidence the 8" Chia Pet walked into the Stadium to observe the lots of people that have gathered to watch two things beat each other up. Humans always did have a rather... unique source of entertainment. Though it seems a large variety of other creatures share this blood thirst. Shaymin looked around, not seeing it's opponent yet. Apparently he was some kind of Yellow Sphere that went by "Pac-Man." A tad unusual but it's world was not much different.
Maybe Pac was bit over his head here with the idea of food but there was no backing out now. He had signed the papers and it was his turn. The arena was nothing like he has ever been to. Fighting for others entertainment... The thought made him uneasy. An unusual team had been set up with but that didn't bother him all the much.
Stepping into the arena, he had no idea what a "Shaymin" was. Some big burly monster was his thought but it came crashing down when it was seen with his own eyes. A bush? The thing looked like a little chewtoy. This eased him up a bit but he still had a nervous look on his face. Placing his hands on his sides, he stood in place. He bobbed a bit waiting for whoever to start the impending battle.

"What is THAT!?" A man in the audiance yelled, as he pointed to the sky. There was....someone was falling from the sky!! He had something on his back too...no....NO....IT CANT BEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!
Landing in the ref's stand with a loud smashing sound, with the stand entirely undamaged...he had come! The TRUE MASCOT OF SEGA!!!
On his mighty back, there was a super sized Sega Saturn, complete with giant controller. What he was doing in outer space was beyond anyone's idea, but, he was now here to ref this match between the Chia Pet and Pizza with a slice missing. A battle between 80's icon's! Why is a 90's icon coming to ref a fight between 80's?? You ask too many questions.
Regardless, Segata Sanshiro looked between Pac and Shaymin, giving a glare, and a firm, manly nod.And in that nod, the rules would instantly rush into Shaymin and Pac's mind's. "4 turns! No Final Smashes! No Items! No Help!"
With that, Segata brought down a chopping hand, to tell them it was GO TIME!

Shaymin stood his ground as he sensed his opponent coming into the arena and... was honestly still not entirely sure what they were looking at. It looked like a ball of cheese with limbs and was kind of confusing how it would be a fighter. Shaymin knew though that even cute Pokemon could be deadly so he would have to be on their guard at all times. Shaymin sighed and prepared themselves mentally before that was ruined by something else entirely.
Out of nowhere came a man in a Karate Gi which startled Shaymin for a few seconds. And why was there a giant unidentifyable game system on his back? Shaymin decided not to question it as the strange ref put down the rules... with some form of unexpected mental intrusion. Shaymin was not expecting him to be a Psychic/Fighting Type.
Shaymin already had a plan in their head and decided to begin it immediately. With a bright jade glow consuming the hedgehog they turned into a somewhat taller and more dog like Sky Forme. Feeling a new surge of complete confidence flowing through them, Shaymin closed it's eyes as it's forehead began to glow bright blue. When ready Shaymin lowered their head towards the yellow ball with limbs and charged at him to hit him with Zen Headbutt. Hopefully the sudden change would be enough to catch him off guard to be hit by it.
avdGeGGup_1d20+3(Zen Headbutt of unexpectedness)
Note: Zen Headbutt has a 20% chance to stun if it hits. 1d20+3
He was knocked back by the sudden headbutt of the little bush. It threw him onto his back and he got up rubbing his head with a dazed expression. Well, this was going to be something. Shaking off the impact, he took a small hop backwards. Time to put things into plan. An orange was produced from the arcade man's hands then vanished into mere pixels within his palm. Best to save that for later. Dust was then kicked up behind the Pac as he began to start off a Rev Roll. He took off for the Shaymin in the form of a yellow ball.

"Oh, oh, oh, can i answer that one??"
"Hades, lord of the underorld, Charmed."
"Well, wouldnt be the first time i met the f'in devil. Wheres howard?"
"Oh, i asked him to go and check out the hot brunette over in the stands."
"Dont worry though, i'll be here to take his place for now, dont worry your little head~"
"....Uh..whatever. This is a match against one of those god forsaken chia pet's, and Pac-man."
"You don't like chia pets?"
"HELL NO! One time on a dare, howard got me to eat a packet of those seed things and drink a glass of water with it, i was pissing ficus for a week!"
"Oh, how convenient, I just wanted to show off my new Chia Octo-eye's to everyone in the audiance,Ch-ch-ch-chia~!"

Shaymin watched as Pac Man was thrown back a bit by the full focused headbutt of a real legend. Shaymin jumped back to get some distance and watched him carefully. Shaymin's next move was going to need a bit of planning ahead to stick to the plan. Shaymin watched as the man seemed to be getting a running start and Shaymin got an idea. Shaymin ran at Pac-Man while he was running in place but was getting ready to move when the time was right.
As soon as Pac-Man started speeding at Shaymin in the form of a ball, Shamin instinctively pulled up and ran into the air to go above the Rev Roll. Shaymin knew a move like that needed some kind of recovery time when he stopped so Shaymin had to be ready. Shaymin turned around in midair quickly and started air sprinting towards the yellow opponent. When they saw the roll start to slow down, the jade glow covered Shaymin again and reverted back into land forme. As Shaymin fell however, the glow continued to surround it's body and steadily glowed brighter and brighter as Shaymin began to unleash Solar Flare. Hopefully while Pac was still recovering, Shaymin erupted in a bright green explosion that covered the battlefield in light so powerful it is highly damaging to both body and mind. After the explosion of jade light settled, Shaymin landed on the floor of the arena and breathed in and out as he recovered from his immensely powerful signature move. It's times like this they are reminded why they tend to use that move in extremely low frequency.
PAC-MAN noticed he hadn't stopped yet so he hopped up and popped his limbs out. The speed bump had not been hit so it he mostly likely missed it. He had just remembered how to use it. Probably a little rusty with it.
He noticed the bright green light radiating from behind him. With a quick turn, he caught eye of the Pokemon. Yup, time to back up. Pulling his limbs back in, he rolled away from the bright light. He reverted back to himself again and took note of Shaymin seeming to take rest. This was his chance! He ran up to it and took on his retro form and bite forward.
p_1d20 (Waka waka.)
If this were to hit, he would quickly extend his foot and sweep it upwards, sending the shrub up into the air.

"You know, i fought a pokemon once. It sucked. it blasted me with all the damn elements like it was captain F'in' planet, and cut me up using the power of it's mind, before hanging me up on a pole by my ass!"
"You're SURE that was a pokemon??"
"Because, Pokemon can only normally learn four moves at once, and considering the captain planet referance, that would be five moves, along with a phsycic and fighting move."
"I find some inaccuracies in your story, that's all~"
"OH SCREW YOU! What about Luca-whatever and Mew-whogivesash-"
"They have character privelages."
"...Man, i really need to get in on some of those character privelages."
"It's amazing how many people do. Maybe then the life sphere wouldnt be so useless."

Shaymin looked through the bright light in it's eyes as some weird shape was munching at her with some "Waka" sound. It would appear the attack had missed it's target and Shaymin was vulnerable. It did not seem to be going very fast so Shaymin had time to move away... Curse this form's tiny legs making crossing ground harder. Just have to get out of the way in time!
Roll for dodge that muncher! s9n0mpuJp_1d20-2
Shaymin was not able to get out of the way in time between the dying light and the larger ground to cross. Shaymin moved with the munching until getting blasted a bit forward and rolling across the ground. Shaymin looked up and noticed she was about to be pelted! Got to act fast!
Roll for Evade the Punt! p_1d20-2
Shaymin curled up into a very floral and mossy ball and rolled away from the Pac-Man's kick. Shaymin's sight was back to full strength and she felt better than ever except for the small munching clipping some grass off. Shaymin rustled her body to make some leaves appear from her body that floated there and glowed with some magical energy. The leaves then fired and chased after Pac-Man in a way as if tracking him.
p_1d20+3(Magical Leaf has high accuracy)
The leaves were not very precise in their homing but they were meant to be more a distraction to keep him busy. Shaymin's body glowed so she could transform into her legendary Sky Forme once more. Back in his Sky Forme, Shaymin felt the confidence once more and ran in circles as quick speeds to create a small tornado that caught some leaves from his body to make a sharp blender of sorts. Shaymin hoped to catch Pac-Man while he was trying to avoid the leaves and fired the Leaf Storm at Pac-Man with a mighty kick.
(6 to avoid the first leaves, 17 for the next few, 14 if you manages to avoid the first)1d20-2·1d20-2·1d20+3·1d20+3
Pwut, pwut! PAC-MAN stopped to spit the hedge trimmings out of his mouth. Maybe that wasn't the best idea but nonetheless, he hit his target. After that snack, he stopped to charge up the orange some more. It reached to a melon before he had to stop and dodge more hedge trimmings.
Pac made it clean over the glowing leaves with a well timed jump.
And the next few were nothing he couldn't handle with a quick roll to his left. He was on a roll! It actually seemed like their was a lot of rolling in the battle. With the flying salad behind him, he took a few seconds to bring melon up to a flagship. It would probably be the best thing to reach the now airborne bush. Now that he thought about it though, he had battled Spooky before and he did like to stay up in the air out of reach. He was able to take him down with a good ol' flip kick.
p_1d20 (Strength for le flip kick.)
If it were simply too far up, he would land back down on the ground and attempt to bring the fight to the air by launching the flagship into orbit while making it's squealing arcade noise.
p_1d20 +2=21 (The Galaxian Flagship goes pewww...)
(11 for the flip kick, If it hits, Roll a 18 or higher for the ship. If not, , 15)1d20·1d20·1d20·1d20

It would seem Shaymin's plan was for naught as both attacks missed their target utterly. Has Shaymin managed to hit this guy? It seems both sides has only gotten one hit in this entire fight. Shaymin ignored those thoughts and watched the man finish his charging up of that attack or it would seem at least. The yellow sphere came running at Shaymin and he knew it was probably time to evade some kind of aerial attack.
Shaymin effortlessly did a large flip backwards like he was some kind of plane before the flip could land it's mark. Shaymin reorganized their aerial path and was about to counter attack until they noticed the man bring out that strange pixel object back out. It would appear he was about to throw it at the floral canine. Shaymin got ready to try and avoid the mini alien space ship.
Shaymin was just barely unable to dodge the space ship as it's flip threw Shaymin for a loop and caught his leg while he was moving to the left. Shaymin's flight got knocked off balance for a second as Shaymin winced from the blow to their leg. It was okay though, they could of got hit worst than that if they weren't so agile. Shaymin had one last plan that he hoped would work and prepared it as he did a few fast movements from left to right to throw razor sharp winds at the Pac-person.
Shaymin then waited to see as they channeled energy in their mouth as to whether or not Pac-Man got hit or dodged. Regardless of which happened, Shaymin focused on his change in position and then spit out a seed at him. The seed being filled with explosive energy that would no doubt give him a blast if it hit. This Seed Bomb on Pac's changed position was his final attack.
(Roll a 16 for the razor winds, if hit, 17 for the Bomb seed. If not, 15.)1d20+4·1d20+4·1d20+3·1d20+3
That aerial attempt did not work out so well. He managed to knick the thing with his spaceship but not much else. About time for some more retaliation, hm? PAC-MAN braced himself for whatever was going to come next.
Pac cleared the winds once again and stumbling slightly but maintaining his balance as he hopped aside of the leaf tornado.
There was no avoiding this one. The seed was well planted and blossomed into an explosion that knock him backwards. Ugh, that thing fired off bombs? Pushing himself off the ground with the use of orange mitts, he looked up at the flying shrubbery. This fight had to be nearing it's end so PAC-MAN decided one last attempt would make it count. He dug out some pellets and threw the 8-bit goodies in a clear path leading up to his pretend ghost. In a flash, he took off down the trail with a "waka waka" and sticking to his old self.

As pac charged forward like a 2-bit train, Segata Sanshiro leaped from the ref's booth, simply standing there, allowing Pac to just hit him, as he looked as if he was barely hurt. Such is the power of SEGATA SANSHIRO. He threw down his hand, signifying the battle was now over, and he stood there, contemplating...
Pac-man, that pac-man. He was quite the fighter, no doubt! His skill for setting up combo's, were, without doubt, a great show in this, not to mention the sheer power in his strikes.
And Shaymin, Despite being up against such a powered foe, She...he? It kept up just as well, With speed to dodge as well...
This was a close match, if ever there was such a thing. But, Segata's decision was made...
And thus, Segata sanshiro raised his hand, swinging it in pac-man's direction...ONLY TO SWING IT BACK TO SHAYMIN....THEN BACK INTO THE AIR...THEN POINTING IT AT THE COMMENTATOR'S BOOTH...THEN AT A BIRD,,,THEN AT AN AUDIENCE MEMBER...THEN AT A HOTDOG VENDER IN SAID AUDIENCE....I hate these interpretive dance-style reveal's.
Before, eventually, Segata Sanshiro slammed his foot down, pointing it at....
"Why must we wait so long?"
"So those scrolling down will get a surprise...Or atleast, that's what i understand now."
"That sounds stupid..."
Segata sanshiro got up, walking over to Shaymin, lifting the tiny deer creature up as the victor of this battle, Firm in his decision. He then dropped shaymin back onto the ground, giving a sympathetic pat on Pac-man's shoulder, before leaving, Allowing the commentator's to complete his battle analysis, in English.
"...Wait, it's over?? Oh, uuhh.."
"Well, Atleast ONE of us was paying attention. Yes, this battle was quite the close one, But, Due to the descriptiveness of shaymin's posts."
"WHY THE HELL IS THAT A DETERMINING FACTOR?!"
"And just barely edging out in dodging, Shaymin took it just by a hair. Good day~"
