I'm going to be apping Megaman X soon as my 3rd character. For this, I intend to make a mission involving X's arrival on Li. He'll be from the Zero timeline, so while this first mission is going on, he'll be in Cyber Elf form waiting at E.Gadd's lab in Life Sphere. I'll be making a mission where one of my characters leads a small expedition to the Lost Reploid City in search of parts so E. Gadd can build X a new body. Once that Mission is done, I'll be doing a series of threads with X, mostly missions where he must have rematches against some of his past enemies, and some he potentially hasn't faced before. In addition, his first thread will be a similar expedition to the mission involving the search for his parts. Here's a list of who he's facing so far:

Snipe Anteator
Armor Armadillo
The Skiver
Blaze Heatnix
Web Spider

Some of X's threads will also involve searching for his different armors starting with the Neutral Armor, which he gets all at once. Once he completes the Glide Armor, Icarus Armor, or the Hermes Armor, he'll get his Ultimate Attack. In his New Armor, or potentially in Neutral Armor, his Ultimate attack will be switch over to one of the completed armors and use that Armor's Ultimate Attack. Of course this will be until X gets a Hyper Mode, which I plan to save at least until after the first Armor gets completed. He'll only keep the Neutral Armor until the other armors from X8 are complete.

Naturally each armor gets its own moveset, but they will most likely share attacks until there's enough to be divided among all of them.

Nova Ozuka, I've already started a plot thread similar to this one... but out of sheer irony, I am incorperating EVERY MAVERICK fought from the X Era all the way to Legends Era. so as an FYI, I already beat you to it with the Maverick Uprising, X can easily get back together with his Buddy Zero though seeing as I'm the one RPing Zero personally.

Who says Nova can't use this plot line? The only one of these five masters that he's chosen that you've done is Armored Armadillo. He can still easily do the other four, and use a different one for his fifth. So Nova, just pick one that isn't armored armadillo and set to work man, I think it'll be quite interesting to see this happen in two different variations. Who says you can't use these five anyway?

I was planning on Zero joining X for at least part of this seeing as how they're old friends, even with different timelines.I still plan to use Armor Armadillo since it won't be the first time he's been revived. I also plan to do the Web Spider and Snipe Anteater missions simultaneously Potentially with The Skiver. I might do all three first rather than go after the Neutral Armor from the beginning, which only provides a slight difference in stats. Since this version of X has no knowledge of Anteater, would you be willing to send Zero along for it?

For reference, here will be the weaknesses of each:
Snipe Anteator - Attacks that travel across land/disc based attacks (They stun, but other atacks are usually more effective)
Armor Armadillo - Electrical attacks
The Skiver - Snaring/Entrapment
Blaze Heatnix - Earth/Rock element attacks
Web Spider - Metal blades (including the actual Metal Blade from Classic Megaman)

Actually, I think I'll have X find the Glide Helmet in Snipe Anteater's mission like in X7. I'll give him X Fire as his Ultimate Attack in New Armor after getting the Neutral Armor, which I may actually have him keep. Since I've never seen the Glide Armor or X Fire in action, I'm going to need some help.
