Somewhere just near the Life sphere a group of Grub-dogs had made themselves at home recently due to a change of attitude from there leader. While waiting for him to recover from his mood swing they took the time to attack anyone who accidently ran into them while training or just taking a hint of fresh air from being inside a bubble for so long..People were now afraid to leave the sphere in case they would run into the Grub-dogs again..Which brought the attention of the Toad police, like they have problems inside the sphere already.


A Toad officer was waiting on a nearby hill for three people who offered there services on ridding the Grub-dogs before they can do anymore harm..While the toad was waiting he took out a pair of binoculars to eye the Grub-dogs activity.

They were about 10 of them, very rare to find around the Life Sphere or the Mushrooms ruins until this incident. There very pesky should you encounter them as they wont stop at nothing to see people dead..They mostly come out at night but after what happened to there leader there on guard for any "Prey". The Toad soon noticed something on there backs, upon closer inspection they turned out to be..

The Bulborbs consider them there children despite the fact that Bulborbs cannot give birth, the only one that can do that is there Empress. There mostly asleep on the bulborbs back with two for each Bulborb and also rather cute..But disturb there sleep and they will Bite back! The Toad soon looked at there leader..The one who started this mess in the first place..


Emperor Bulblax

There male leader of the group other then the Empress who suddenly went nuts a few days ago and led a small group of his kind near the Life sphere during his panic. He is currently acting angry and trying to scratch his neck with his feet..Since he dose not have hands. After finishing observing the group for the fifth time this hour the Toad putted his binoculars down and continued waiting for the three helpers to arrive..


"Ohh..They better come soon, its almost time to patrol...The Boss is going to have my head on a pipe if i'm late." The Toad said worryingly.

As the toad was observing the enemy, Rosalina was already doing the same from high in the air. Using her everwatching eyes to see the enemy before they know of her. "There is quite a lot of Bulborbs... Though I do not remember them being so big. This world must of mutated them. I can not be sure what their problem is yet but I need to find out," Rosalina noted to herself before looking to the watcher toad.

"I think it is time for his break. I will go introduce myself while we wait for the other two," Rosalina said to herself before disappearing in a teleport and reappearing behind the Toad. "I can handle it from here, Toad. These monsters are riled and it is my job to make sure they are calmed. You go do yours," Rosalina offered in her normal monotone voice.

Chase approached quietly, but swiftly. Once he made it to the toad and the lady with the wand, he briefly canned the situation. "...I'll admit, this is a little more than I expected," he finally uttered. He remembered having to deal with Bulborbs from his long journey to the Life Sphere. He then turned to the one in the dress that was first to arrive. "I honestly don't care if we kill them or not unless they're infected. Either way works for me," he told her.

Fashionably late as always, Falco trod up behind a minute or so later. It was a good thing this wasn't that far out from the Sphere or he would have had to arrange for some sort of transportation. Thoughts of what was currently available in such a respect made him shudder; they just wouldn't do.
"Hey," the bird humanoid chirped, a sideways grin dominating his visage as he stepped up beside the swordsman. Falco gave a quick wave to the trio seated a safe distance away from the group of interest. Once stopped he lightly cocked his head to the side and made to cross his arms, though firstly he gave a mild shrug of his shoulders and asked, "So what's the brief?"

The avian shifted weight onto his right side as he listened. His eyes deviated from the immediate group to the distant bulborbs. Despite his sharp sight that was a distance he couldn't make out well enough without a scope. He rolled his tongue and quietly sighed before returning his full attention to Rosalina, apparently not too enthused with their self appointed leader.

"You will?" Officer Toad said to Rosalina when she offered to take the mission from here. The toad looked happy and said "great! The Mission is simple really, just get rid of the group before more people get hurt..And please do it before the end of the day. Oh and you should also be careful because there's a hole near the Emperor." The Toad said pointing to Bulblax, who was blocking the view of the hole..

"There's a hole behind him that leads to somewhere unknown, I was also sent to investigate the hole but of course..They came." Officer Toad said, "Well i'm going to head to Busy bee lobby, goodluck!" The Toad said to Rosalina as he skipped down the hill until he noticed Falco and Chase heading up said hill. "Hi, Bye!" The toad said to the two before continuing to skip back to the Life sphere.


While this was happening the Bulborbs got board when they noticed there was no prey around to attack at and went to sleep with the Larva, Bulblax meanwhile was still scratching his neck, not noticing the Trio on the hill...Yet...With the group lowering there defence the trio have the chance to get a good start on the battle by doing a surprise attack.

Rosalina watched the toad leave on her leave before noticing the rest of the volunteers appear. "I sent the toad away and am taking leadership for this mission. I do not wish to see the toad hurt and this fits under my job more than his," Rosalina explained. "Our goal is to get rid of the group by the end of the day. I suggest we spare the King though, I want to end this as peacefully as possible. There is also some hole behind the Emperor, I do not know if we should investigate that or not but I'll leave that for you two to decide," Rosalina briefed before turning around.

The Bulborbs seem to have went to sleep, now was definitely the best time to strike. "Okay, we strike now. Let's go!" Rosalina finished her monotone speech with a Launch Star appearing around her and launching her at as isolated a Bulborb as possible and she proceeded to follow up with a flip of her galaxies.

"Very well..." Chase said before surveying the area again. He found a Bulborb that wasn't quite as isolated as the lady with the wand picked out, but it was closer to Bulblax. "The sooner we care of this, the better. Right?" he asked the bird guy. Chase then took off in a short run before launching himself at the Bulborb he picked out in an Airborne Assault, taking care to charge it up first. True, he probably could've thrown a shuriken of light, but this would be more effective. From his experience, he knew he would have to prepare to counter once the Bulborb was awake. That hole in the ground might be worth checking out, but we will still have to do something about the Emperor, he thought.

"Right." His response was brief, eyes momentarily flicking to the sword fighter before he darted off. Falco followed suit, charging down the hill with the swordsman though it was hardly at his full speed. His eyes wandered to Rosalina as she floated toward an isolated foe, a smirk growing on his face before returning his gaze to those coming up in front. While they were still a fair distance away Falco broke away from Chase to approach through a more hilly path, picking up speed as he did so. He hoped the headstrong show his allies were putting on would provide enough distraction that none of the bulborbs would notice the blue avian sneaking through cover, getting closer and closer.

By Falco's count they were outnumbered more than three to one not counting those yellow larvae and this was only the beginning of the fight. He wasn't the greatest melee fighter when it came to being swarmed. He relied on his speed and maneuverability. The ace pilot reached likely the last decent incline to use as cover when he reached about a hundred feet of the Emperor. He dropped onto his stomach and crawled to the hill's crest just as Rosalina dove in to attack and Chase rushed in with his aerial attack. It didn't take Falco very long to assess where he'd be needed interference wise.

With a quiet grumble to himself about a sniper rifle the sharp shooter took out his blaster and took aim, firing his first shot at the bulborb Chase attacked. He then switched targets to cover the swordsman from any additional attackers.

The Two Bulborbs woke up in surprise when Rosalina and Chase ran into them and attacked. But they were smart enough to know how to dodge the attacks..Or try to at least, the first Bulborb tried to dodge Rosalinas swish attack.

Meanwhile Bulborb B, the one that was being attacked by Chase also tried to dodge his airborne assault.

After also dodging the attack Bulborb B took a short break after what just happened, not knowing that he will soon be shot by Falco if he is on the right spot.

Bulborb B was not on the right for Falco so he missed. After taking the break the Bulborb then tried to charge into Chase to teach him a lesson!

During this fight the Larva on A and B's backs soon woke up and screamed in a high pitched tone, awaken all the other Bulborbs. However instead of helping there members to attack Rosalina and Chase they instead stood and watch to see if A and B can successfully take them down. However one the Bulborbs in the crowd wanted to join the fight and ran to help B take down Chase, not knowing that he might be shot by Falco.

Bulborb C was soon shot by Falco and fell over due to the pain of the blast. The larva soon rolled off its back and onto a nearby tree. The Bulborbs who were watching the fight quickly looked up to see what caused the shot..But did not see Falco..So they looked back at the fight between A, B, Rosalina and Chase.

After that shot Bulborb C soon got up and ran to get the Larva, leaving Falco the chance of getting another shot at C. Meanwhile Bulblax caught wind of the fight and soon grew angry..This time for a reason and slowly walked towards Rosalina and Chase so he can dispose of them..Although his legs are sore after using them to scratch his neck so he might take awhile to get to them, giving the trio time to handle the three Bulborbs before Bulblax catches up to them.

Rosalina apparently did not land the launch and her swish of galactic proportions missed. The Bulborb was angry now though and it's bite looked too fast for her to dodge, so she better use her cosmic barrier. Rosalina waved her wand for a bubble to appear around her in hope it significantly weakens the impact.

And it was a success, the barrier blocked a majority of the damage though she still felt a bit of the impact. The rest was awake now but they seemed lazy. Bulblax was approaching so she needed to incapictate some. Rosalina waved her wand and shot a Star Bit at her Bulborb to try and stun it.

Only to embarrassingly trip over his own feet and get trampled. Why me... he thought. He got to his feet and huffed. Fine, I see how it is. With a twirl, he sent a miniature tornado at the Bulborb that trampled him. It would also strike the larvae on its back if it made no move to avoid it.

He would have to take care of that Bulborb quickly with another right behind him. I hope that bird keeps me covered, he thought. He then hurled a Chakram at the same Bulborb he was attacking, guiding it in an attempt to hit it right between the eyes.

With his shot on Bulborb C causing it to neglect its surroundings for the reacquiring of its larvae, Falco couldn't help but take another shot at it. Figuratively patting himself on the back after the successful hit Falco took a second to observe the rest of the pack of beasts that had just been woken. Luckily for the Life Sphere heroes it appeared none of the rest wanted to engage; save for the big guy himself. As much as he wanted to just fire non-stop into the approaching emperor it didn't seem like a great team plan to just leave Chase fighting off two of those things. Especially since, turning his eyes back onto the sword fighter, his ally had just been trampled. The follow up tornado didn't look like it would be his saving grace either.

Falco adjusted his sights onto the two around Chase again, firing a shot at Bulborb B once the mini-tornado had passed and then a few moments later a second shot at the same target. Following this he decided it was time to move in case any of the bystanders decided his long range shots were an affront to the melee battle happening down the hill. Falco carefully crawled backwards a little ways before moving into a crouch and attempting to sneak to a different location. He remained low as he slunk around the terrain, aiming to get a little closer to the group and setup behind some cover again.

The avian was in luck, finding a thick tree that could obscure his thin frame from the Bulborbs. It was even on the side of a small hill thus he still had a decent vantage of the battle field when he poked his head around to get a look at where he had ended up. Maybe they'd be in luck and the silly beasts would think they were grossly outnumbered with blaster shots coming in from different angles. But that would require him to remain unseen to pull off such an intimidation, something he hoped to continue doing.1d20+4·1d20+4·1d20+4·1d20+2

Thanks to quick thinking and help from Falcos blaster, Rosalina and Chase have gained the upper hand in the battle..So far that is.

Bulborb A was starting to get a bit peeved off after failing to attack Rosalina properly who the latter made a shield that almost broke his teeth. Soon Rosalina shot star bits in an attempt to stun him and his larva..Three times, the Bulborb tried to dodge the stun attack.

Bulborb A had successfully dodged the star bits stun..His Larva were not lucky as they soon fell back to sleep due to the stun. A did not seem to notice..He only cares if they fell off or got hurt. he tried to charge into Rosalina in an attempt to drop her wand after noticing that its..Wait for it..HER MAIN WEAPON!

Meanwhile Bulborb B jumped a bit in celebration for trampling on Chase, causing a small earthquake in the area and dizziness from his Larva. However soon enough he saw Chase summoning a mini tornado..Not knowing what to do he tried to run away from it..Despite being small, his Larva were also panicking..A bit too much.

The Tornado was strong enough as both Bulborb B and his Larva were sucked into the tornado before being spat out again, his larva landed on the nearby ground rather harshly and were soon dazed and reached critical condition.

Things were not going well for B, not at all. Shortly after getting out of the mini tornado he was shot twice by Falcos blaster, making the other Bulborbs in the crowd scared since they don't know where this mysterious shooter is..They hope Bulblax will come soon. B soon noticed that his Larva were dazed and hurt and stopped his attack on Chase to care for them..Which means he also did not notice Chases Chakrum and got hit straight between the eyes..He landed next to his larva.

Falco deciding to shoot at C again was a bad idea..As if it was already worried at being shot once it actually did get shot again, soon after it went into full panic mode and ran into the crowd which caused them to become from Scared to Panic, looks like the trio were not like the prey they encountered..They need Bulblax right now! The crowd ran past A, B, Rosalina and Chase and to Bulblax..Who is still very slow, the crowd now being helped by C and his larva (Like they would do much) attempted to push the Emperor forward..To no Anvil.

Rosalina was nowhere fast enough to dodge the sudden charge of the Bulborb. It seemed her luck with hitting this thing was not very good. Soon she may have to rely on her cosmic powers but she knew now was not the moment to unleash her full power. She got tackled and fell to the ground as her wand slid across the ground. She wanted to reach for it and retrieve her precious keepsake but she knew the big Bulborb was not going to let her... Oh wait, of course! She had gravity on her side!

Rosalina flipped her dress back with the Galaxy Swish at the Bulborb to get him to give her some space before jumping back and using her Gravity Pull to pull her wand, and unintentionally any Bulborb Larva towards her if they do not hold on tight to their hosts.

Chase didn't bother moving. No, it was time to counterattack! He took the Bulborb's attack full force with the flat side of his sword. He then made an attempt to strike back.
