Chase stared at the ruined amusement park that held so many memories to him. If I go charging in, I'll probably get attacked, he thought. I'll sneak in, find something useful, and sneak out. No problem. He looked around. Then again, it wouldn't be a bad idea to wait for someone else to come here. It might help quite a bit. He would wait there for a while to see if anyone would show up.

Klungo looked at the park with longing. It reminded him of home, albeit a more ruined version of it. But it also was a beacon of new beginnings.
The green troll's goal was simple: find one or two still-functioning or easily fixed arcade machines, lug them home, and start work on his new venture into entrepreneurship. There was no guarantee he'd find what he was looking for here, but to him, any chance is a good chance.
He traveled around the perimeter using his large arms to carry him forward, until a little movement made him stop in his tracks. It was a human looking movement, and sure enough it was a human of a kind. The lack of an aura told Klungo it must be weak, its shape told him it was friendly. He approached slowly on his small legs.
"Hello, human! You isss here to ssscavenge too?" he threw a guess out there.

Looks like Rosalina was not the only one with the idea of scavenging here. She figured some of her Lumas may of hid here and she needed parts for her Comet Observatory and this place had plenty of machines. She floated slowly towards the place with hope until she heard very loud footsteps. Disappearing for a second out of reaction, she looked to see some... strange creature with a human looking boy.

From the creature's words, she guessed they were all here for the same reason. "Guess that makes three of us," Rosalina said in her monotone voice from behind them. "I am Rosalina, mother of the Lumas, watcher of the galaxies. I came here hoping I could find my Lumas and parts for the Comet Observatory. Perhaps it would be safest if we go together?" Rosalina asked.

"I usually do come here for a little scavenging," the Mii answered before turning to face the Frankenstein-esque hippo. "I usually come alone, sneaking in to find something useful and sneak back out though," Chase told him just before Rosalina stepped out. "I suppose if we work together we can make quite a haul," he replied. "If you need ship parts, I recommend we drop by the Metroid Blast Attraction," he suggested as he began walking toward the fallen amusement park.

"Sssafety in numbersss," Klungo agreed, nodding his head. He then pointed a finger at his arm. "Klungo ssstrong. If sssmall man or ssstar lady sssee sssomething good, I grab for you. Trailer of ssssome kind might help. I haul that, too." He knew he was basically volunteering to be the pack mule of the group, but he would do so happily if it meant these friends got what they needed from this place. He followed the Mii hastily, running on his little feet, though he turned briefly to address Rosalina. "Alssso, ssstar lady, what are Lumasss? Sssound glowy, sssound like moonsss maybe... Is heavy?"

"Very well, let us go collect what we need. I hope it does not bother... Klungo carrying things..." Rosalina said, not really liking the idea of having Klungo carry supplies. She did know she lacked the muscle though so she might as well.

She floated alongside the two until Klungo asked her about the Lumas. She saw no harm in informing the gentle giant. "No, they are not heavy or even big. They are small star childern that I care for while I protect the galaxies. They have little transforming powers like into Launch Stars. Their true wonder is that after a certain point of maturity and plenty of star bits they can transform into planets or even small galaxies. They are adorable before then though," Rosalina explained.

"Thanks," Chase said to Klungo. "We should keep our eyes peeled for the Gunship and a Power Suit or two once we're inside," he suggested. "You can call me Chase by the way. No pun intended," he told them as he looked back to them. Returning his gaze to Nintendo Land, he was reminded of the two friends he was lost sight of in the panic the Starvia caused. One was a star player in the attraction they were visiting today. The other was a Jack-of-All-Trades when it came most of the attractions, out preforming Chase and the other Mii outside Link's Adventure and Metroid Blast in most cases, but at least he knew that one could defend himself without weapons. "I wish I could of done more that day..." he murmured as he reminisced about that dreadful day.

"Ssstar lady mussst've really loved them... Klungo can't wait to sssee cute ssstarsss get back to you, make you happy!" It saddened Klungo whenever he heard of someone who lost something so dear to them. He hoped he could help her find her little ones again.
"Pun..." One could almost see the cogs struggling to move in Klungo's head as he tried to comprehend where the pun was in Chase's introduction, but it flew right over his head. He noted that the Mii looked very sad too, and in looking closely at pictures around them, he frowned as he figured it out. "You from here... Lossse people too?" Klungo knew it was a rather unnecessary question, everyone on Li lost someone or something, but he only wanted to communicate that he understood.

"Yes, they are the only family I truly have. I hope... No, I will find them. Thank you," Rosalina said to Klungo. She looked around for what Chase was talking about. She found the pun comment weird though. She did not really see a pun in the man's words.

Rosalina stopped turning her head upon hearing the swordsman's words. It would appear she was not the only one to suffer massive lost. Nor was she the only one to feel guilt and blame themselves... at least, she did until Paula helped her snap out of it. Perhaps she should do the same thing. "Do not blame yourself. Their fate was inevitable. Instead resolve yourself. Fight and focus to find you special ones. You can not find your special ones when you can not find yourself through guilt," Rosalina advised.

"Yeah, I was visiting with some friends when this place crash landed here on Li," Chase answered Klungo. Then Rosalina gave her advice. "I know, but still... it sucks that all I could do was hide while I watch everyone get infected. I don't even know if either of them made it out, or if they got infected like everyone else," Chase pointed out. Truth be told, he didn't really feel guilty, he just wanted the Starvia wiped out. Soon they had a good view of the amusement park plaza. There were some infected roaming around. There wasn't as many as the last few times, and they were still far enough away that they didn't seem to notice the small group of Smashers.

Klungo nodded in agreement to Rosalina's statement. "Fate get out our handsss sssometimess, leavesss usss sssad and alone, but we never truly alone, we make new bondsss and hope for old friendsss. Hope isss bessst option. Not fun. But not much elssse. If they get out, little man'sss friendsss will come to Life Sssphere sssome day. Klungo bet they sssmart, know how to sssurvive." The corners of his mouth turned up in a reassuring smile at the Mii before they came to a deeper part of the park. Klungo was distracted by the rides and signs, imagining just what amazing things they could've been when they weren't in such a dilapidated state. He would like to visit the park like that, if it ever got rebuilt. He noticed his new friend looking concerned ahead of them, and hurried to join him. As they looked upon the infected area, the troll felt very unsettled by the sight of those poor people, sick with such a terrible ailment. Maybe, rather than an arcade, he could invest his intelligence in something else... Klungo frowned, lacking the confidence in himself to think of such a bold resolve. He scanned the visible area and scratched his head absently, his ears folding down as he felt unsure of their situation. "Anybody sssee any good thingsss? Klungo don't know where would good grab be..."

"Well said, Klungo," Rosalina complimented with a smile but still sounding monotone. The green giant was right and her feel more confident in believing her own words. "Some hold more power than others. However, it is how one uses that power that truly matters. You are fighting for everyone's sakes so you are doing good. I am sure your friends may of survived if they were like you," Rosalina tried to cheer up.

Rosalina decided idle chitchat was going nowhere so she raised her wand hand and did a few gesture. She closed her eyes and let her cosmic powers do the rest. The wand pointed in the direction of the Metroid Attraction suggested earlier. "Okay, the Metroid attraction is that way. Let's not spend too much time talking. We mustn't stay out too long," Rosalina suggested, following her wand to the Metroid Attraction.

"I could've told you that," Chase pointed out as he headed to the gate depicting Samus's helmet.From any side other than the front, it appeared there was nothing on the other side, but coming close to the front, one could see a hall just passed a wooden sign of sorts.  Chase paid the sign no attention. "There should be five Power suits up ahead where the hall splits. I figure I could wear one while Klungo carried another. The Gunship would be somewhere on the left," he told them. It took them a minute for the suits to come into view, but even at the distance, Chase could see something very wrong: the orange and red one was missing. Seeing this, Chase picked up the pace. When he was just a few yards away, he could definitely see that the first suit was missing along with its visor.  It was his first time back in Metroid Blast since he came to Li, so naturally he was surprised. "If one's missing, then that could mean..." he spared no time to finish his sentence. Right now their first priority was gathering up a couple Power Suits. They could check to see if the Gunship was missing later.

He got the white suit down from its resting place and began putting it on over his armor. He doubted Rosalina and Klungo wanted to see him in his underwear. "I figure it's easiest to just wear one of them instead of having to carry both. If we had a few more Miis, we wouldn't have to carry any; just the ship if it wasn't working," he pointed out. Actually, now that he thought about it, the ship would make carrying the suits easier since they all had grapple beams.

Klungo followed diligently, trying to stay his quietest and sneakiest. He looked at the empty space as he plucked the other suit from its spot, and understood what the missing suit could mean.
"Sssee, like Klungo sssay, you hasss sssmart friendsss." The troll held the suit and visor out so that he could examine the gear more closely. He'd not seen anything much like it, and though it was extremely small, he felt as though he might be able to recreate the tech to better suit larger creatures. The idea made him giddy, and he held the gear close to himself to protect it, then he proceeded without back down from where they came.
And another hopeful thought popped into his head that made him skid to a stop. He decided he was going to be a hero and seek out this gunship by himself, and started making his way to where the Mii said it would be kept. He was hoping he could surprise his new friends when he returned with it. Then he could surprise everyone when he mass-produced armor for everyone!
It was going to be a good day to be Klungo!

"Right, of course," Rosalina said with a smile before following. She listened to the Mii's directions as she saw the high tech place. There had to be something she could use here. And luckily enough he said there was a nearby gunship. A gunship, no matter how primitive, would be an excellent place to get parts.

Rosalina decided the group had the suits handled and silently slipped away towards the gunship. Rosalina's levitated in the direction of the ship until something caught her eye. A picture that looked like her and her Lumas together... she has never seen this picture before.

She spent a small bit looking at the picture until she heard some sound. It sounded like some bloated squeaking of some sort. Could it be...? Rosalina followed the sound closer to the source of the sound, which was where the gunship was supposed to be.

She looked down and saw a Pirate Ship like steering wheel. To anyone else this would not mean much but it meant a lot to Rosalina. This steering wheel looked like the one from the Starship Mario! There was no mistaking it! Lubba was here somewhere! Perhaps he knows where the other Lumas went. Rosalina looked around and saw nothing. She lifted the Steering Wheel with her cosmic power for a closer look. He was definitely here somewhere.
