Minato slowly walked through a dark tunnel with his head down and hands in his pockets. There was a bright light at the end of the tunnel that he assumed was the entrance to the arena of the stadium that he was in. He had recently gotten wind of a tournament  that was being held within the Life Sphere and had thought nothing of it really. The true reason why he was participating in it? Who knows? Minato read a banner describing the tournament and merely shrugged his shoulders as he dragged his feet towards the stadium. Minato had soon reached the end of the dark tunnel and stopped as he looked up.  Well here goes nothing. Let's see what this place has to offer. Minato reached up and removed his headphones and walked into the bright light.

As soon as he walked out of the tunnel, Minato was quite surprised by what stood in front of him. All around him he saw crowds of people roaring in applause as they saw him walk out into the arena. The arena itself was rather large, reminding him of gladiators and how they fought in arenas to please their king. Minato looked around and saw another dark tunnel where he presumed his opponent would be. Alright lets get this over with.

Due to the fact that his last opponent had gone poof on him and the fact that he had been waiting on a worthy challenger who would enjoy facing him, Skeith was already preped to fight at a moments notice.

But where the iconic 'Terror of Death' came from was still anyone's guess... That was until a red wand dropped out of the sky and pierced the ground in front of Minato that told the boy that his opponent was within the arena already.

"..." Skeith stood motionless as he grabbed his trademark weapon and was ready for mr. referee to anounce the start of the match.

From the skies, the sound of a Dragonite could be heard. Soon, a pair of Dragonairs, an Aerodactyl and a Dragonite with the Elite Four/ Indigo Champion, Lance, riding on top. Lance's Dragonite landed inbetween Skeith and Minato while his Dragonairs and Aerodactyl stayed in the air. Lance jumped off his Dragonite and looked between the two combatants. "I am Lance and I will referee this match with my dragon pokemon at my side. While Skeith is probably no stranger to the Stadium, I have never seen this boy before, so I will explain the rules just in case. The Basic Rules are as follows: No outside help is permitted, only your own strength can decide this unless it is from your own skills or power, do not go for the kill, this match is a sport not an excuse for reverting someone. The special rules for this tournament is the time is reduced (to 3 rounds) and no Final Smashes or Ultimate Techniques are permitted. Do I need to repeat anything?"

Minato looked at the giant stone thing that floated down from the air, picking up a large red cross object. It looked very well like a sword but could possibly well have other purposes. The stone beast was much larger than he was but could only assume that it was slow but could deliver powerful attacks. The strategy here would have to be quick attacks and movements, something that Minato specialized in. Soon, creatures that looked like dragons were heard above him and as he looked up, saw a man riding on the back of one. He came in the center of him and his opponent and merely stated that he was the ref and stated the rules. Minato thought to himself. Three tries to make a good impression? Whatever works I guess. Minato put his left foot forward and nodded his head at the dragon man. Got it.

Minato reached to one side and pulled out his sword from its scabbard and with the other pulled out his Evoker and gave it a twirl in his hand. this would be quite the interesting battle.

Skeith nodded, knowing the rules that were in place. how would he know this, he fought against King Hippo alongside Waluigi and Beat without using an ultimate, resorting to physical offense, a spell that was a near rip-off of Arceus' signature move, and a warning volley.

Skeith had calculated his opponent to be quicker than his current form in his mind, but with quick reflexes came the major disadvantage of a low critical hit rate. this could work out to anyone's advantage when applied with a surefire strategy for easy victory.

"I am ready whenever you are... Small one..." Came a strange telepathic voice that belied that Skeith was not as stupid as he looked.

"I was referring more to time, boy. Anyway, guess that means all is in order. Dragonite!" Lance said, getting on his Dragonite. At its name, Dragonite instinctively flew up. "Okay, you may begin the match!" Lance declared, and the combatants may now fight.

Minato watched as the man who was the judge flew up with his dragons and declared that the match had begun. Minato decided to see just how strong this guy really is by starting off with an attack from his Persona. Minato slowly brought up his Evoker pistol to his head and closed his eyes. No matter how many times he did this, he was still apprehensive about it. It is said that in order to bring out the potential of one's soul, they needed to be conscious during death itself in order to awaken their own Persona from the soul.Orpheus! Minato shouted as he opened his eyes and pulled the trigger of the pistol, resulting a burst of blue shards of glass to explode from the opposite side of Minato's head. A trail of smoke escaped the gun as the glass shards spun around Minato and began to form the Persona Orpheus.

The Persona floated and remained behind Minato until it formed a medium sized ball of flame and launched it at the tall stone giant. As the ball of flame flew towards his opponent, Minato leaped into the air to try and catch him off guard if the creature was able to avoid the fire attack. As the fireball flew, Orpheus slowly disappeared into thin air as if it was need there in the first place.

Skeith was already one step ahead of Minato, skillfuly dodging both attacks with no trouble at all.

"You have to try harder than that if you want to best me, bio-organic creature." Skeith's voice said in minato's head, laughing outside in a near-bestial fashion that could make Bowser jealous. Skeith then made certain of a combo to counteract Minato's own starting off by giving a cold as death glare of intimidation, followed up by a Judgement Spell, causing icy stalagmites to erupt all over the battlefield within Skeith's proximity.
