Tails was tinkering in his lab trying to get his mind straight. Not only was his self confidence blown, Sonic was kidnapped. Its not like he can do anything to help though. He was useless without Sonic and he needed to admit that. Suddenly there was a knock on his door. "Go away, I am too busy for visitors," Tails called not wanting to be bothered.

A few seconds later his door was busted down with an axe. "Sorry, couldn't hear ya, so I needed to come in," Gilius said.

"... Gilius? What are you... Nevermind, just go, I am not in a good mood," Tails said. 

"Cut the drama, fox boy, you are making me want to gag," Viridi said suddenly appeared next to Tails.

"Ah! Okay, who are you and what are you two doing here?" Tails asked reluctantly.

"That's three, baby," Black Mage said, leaning on the wall.

"Ah! Seriously! How did all of you get in here!"

"That isn't very nice when we are just here to get you out of this childish mood."

"Yeah, brighten up. So what if you lost to that freak, you are seriously a downer now."

"Aye, would Sonic want to see you like this?"

"Sonic... No... but how am I supposed to help if I can't even be better than the preliminaries."

"Just because you lost doesn't mean you did bad, idiot."

"Yeah, you did pretty good... For a Technology user anyway."

"Besides, Sonic needs you. Stop feeling bad for yourself and do what you can to help out. It isn't your skills that matters, its your determination."

"... You're right. I need to get to work! Thanks guys!" Tails said, running out the door.

"Your welcome!" Gilius said taking out his Ale.

"Okay, now you owe me those free drinks."

"And that salad."

"Oh, right, come on."
