Leaf
Pokemon
Alignment: Neutral Good
Motto: "Pokémon are so cute, even their smell is comforting! You agree with me, right?"
Allies/Friends: Valerie, Red, Blue, Masters Protag
Enemies/Rivals: Team Rocket
Backstory: link
Appearance:
History On Li: Leaf arrived on Li after getting caught by a strange pokeball that also caused her to lose consciousness in the process. She woke up on Li, with the only 'proof' that it hadn't been some surreal dream being an unusual collar around her neck. Unable to get it off but with no idea what it was actually for, she decided to ignore it for the time being and explore. Settling down into her new life, Leaf decided to start seeking out pokemon that needed help in order to protect or rescue them from the starvia. Y'know, when she wasn't busy with her own life anyway.
She has also taken up collecting old music and video. Mostly because she really misses movies and music and even old stuff is preferable to nothing at this point, though she frequently runs into trouble with the actual hardware to play movies and music.
Other Info: Leaf and her pokemon obey my Pokemon Damage Type Modifiers mechanics.
Leaf is Normal/Fairy Type. She takes +5 damage from steel, poison, and martial arts moves. However she takes -5 damage from fairy, dark/unholy, and mental moves.
Evan the Eevee
Evan is a nerd who would probably rather be playing or reading comics than battling. He claims he learned to speak with humans just to escape the eternal frustration of giving them trivia just to get a dead stare in response. He dreams of being admired by pretty girls.

Primary Attacks (3)
Quick Attack [Normal]: Evan rushes in and strikes foes at great speeds. By making glancing blows he can preserve his momentum and attack multiple times as a light comboable. Alternatively, he can slam into someone directly for a stronger hit. This move has a +1 to it's accuracy. 1 turn cooldown [DMG 3%+Dex to 15%+Dex]
Pay Day [Normal]: Evan strikes a foe with a strange power, a shower of coins equal to 5x the damage her attack does, bursting against the enemy on impact! These coins aren't site coins, but are instead used to fund the creation of items for Leaf's moveset. [DMG 1d20+10%]
Iron Tail [Steel]: Evan's tail turns into heavy metal mid-swing. It doesn't seem to weigh him down, but it definitely hits a lot harder. It has a 20% chance of afflicting the fracture status, which is a custom status that stacks with itself and refreshes it's duration each time it's afflicted. Each stack increases the damage done by kinetic attacks by 2%. It's a bit sluggish though, and has a -2 accuracy penalty and a 1 turn cooldown. [DMG 20+Str+Con%]
Special Attacks (3)
Good Under Pressure [Normal]: Evan puts in his best work when the heat is on and it's do or ...faint. For every 30% damage he takes, he does +1 more damage and the secondary effect chance of his attacks increase by 10%
Potion [Normal]: Leaf sprays a potion to an injured character! It stings a little, but causes rapid healing for 1d20+Cha. A potion costs $300 coins to manufacture. A super potion is worth $700 and heals for twice as much. A hyper potion costs $1200 and heals for three times as much. Leaf starts off each thread with 3 potions, one for each pokemon.
Dig [Ground]: Evan digs underground and creates a tunnel network under the immediate area. For every action he spends digging, he creates a pitfall trap by trying to guess where enemies will move during battle. The ground is so thin they'll fall through when they stand on it, stunning them. Each turn he can try to trick enemies closer to one of the pitfalls, making a free INT attack in addition to his other attacks. If the int attack hits, they fall into the pitfall and are stunned, and take the attack's damage 2 turn cooldown. [DMG 5%]
Final Smash (1)
Endless Possibilities Extreme Evoboost [Normal]: Leaf performs a Z move with Evan that powers him up using the strength of their bond! All his stat modifiers increase by +4 for 3 turns.
Other Info: Evan is Normal type. He takes +5 damage from martial arts moves, but -5 damage from death moves.
He takes a -4 penalty when determining the duration of the soaked status, but gains a +4 bonus when determining the mind-melted status.
Starlight the Clefairy
A pokemon schoolteacher, Starlight is Evan's teacher and dreams of civilizing the world's pokemon one student at a time. She travels with Leaf because Leaf respects her vision. She used to teach at the original Pokemon Stadium

Primary Attacks (3)
Round [Sonic]: Starlight sings a special tune that affects the minds of those that hear it. Every action spent using the move round increases the damage of future round attacks made on the same turn by 3 damage. [DMG 0+Cha% to 11+Cha%]
Disarming Voice [Fairy]: Starlight emits an enchanting cry that uneases foes, with a 50% chance of charming them. 1 turn cooldown [DMG 9+Cha%]
Wake-Up Slap [Fighting]: This wind-up mega slap takes full focus and isn't very practical as a result, taking a -4 accuracy penalty, but if you use it on someone who can't dodge... well, it might just knock them right back out. [DMG 30%]
Special Attacks (3)
Sing [Sonic]: Starlight uses a hypnotic song to lull the target to sleep by suppressing their mental processes.
Lucky Chant [Sonic]: Starlight begins a rhythmic chant that bestows her allies with enhanced luck! Increases the crit threshold on allies attacks by 1 and decreases the crit threshold on attacks aimed at them by 2 (Minimum nat 20). They also gain a +2 to crit confirm rolls or rolls defending against crit confirms. This lasts for 3 turns and has a 3 turn cooldown.
Helping Hand [Normal]: Starlight instructs an ally, helping them with whatever they're doing! She adds her charisma modifier to their roll to do that thing. 2 turn cooldown.
Final Smash (1)
Healing Wish [Psychic]: Starlight makes a wish for someone's wellbeing, sending her own psychic energy to them. They are healed for 60 HP, 20 bubbleshield, and any of their other special resources are restored to what they would've been at the start of a thread. Starlight takes 60 recoil from using this move.
Other Info: Starlight is Fairy Type. She takes +5 damage from poison and steel moves but -5 damage from martial arts moves and dark/unholy moves.
The poison status deals 12 damage to Clefairy per turn and she suffers a -4 when determining it's duration.
She gains a +4 when determining the duration of mind-melted,
The chance of her being infatuated is reduced by 50%.
Moltres
Leaf's proudest catch. Moltres dreams of roast chicken! Moltres travels with Leaf because she charmed it with her pretty smile and excellent brushing skills.

Primary Attacks (3)
Ember/Flame Burst [Fire]: Moltres spits gouts of flame to singe a target. They can do this wide-beaked so that multiple gouts of flame fire out in a cone shaped burst as a light comboable attack or narrow-beaked to condense it all into one denser gout of flame that bursts on contact with a solid surface. They both have a +1 accuracy, and Flame Burst has a 10% chance to cause the burn status. 1 turn cooldown. [DMG 8-18%]
Ancient Power [Rock]: Moltres use a strange power to levitate and launch rocks at enemies. They can either launch several smaller rocks as a light combo or one bigger rock as a medium attack. The combo version has a 10% chance of raising all of Moltres' stat modifiers by 1 for 2 turns, while the regular version has a 20% chance. 1 turn cooldown [DMG 5-20%]
Heat Wave [Fire]: Immense, searing winds are launched at Moltres' enemies, turning the immediate area into something between a hurricane and an air fryer! (This move not sponsored by...). This move does double damage if the targets fail their CON saves by 6 or more. 1 turn cooldown [DMG 18%]
Special Attacks (3)
Rage [Dark]: Moltres is stubborn and wrathful, becoming more determined to win the harder it is pushed. For every 20% Moltres accumulates, they do +1 damage plus an additional 2% damage if Moltres took 30% or greater damage during the previous turn.
Sky Drop [Ground]: This attack can only be used on grappled enemies. Moltres drags the grappled enemy up into the air and then drops them from a great height. They have a 100% chance of being afflicted with the disabled status, but with a second dexterity save against the attack they can control which stat gets disabled (Other than constitution or charisma). However, Moltress suffers a -2 dodge penalty against an attack aimed at it as it ascends next turn. 2 turn cooldown. [DMG 28%]
Agility [Psychic]: Moltres uses psychic energy to manipulate it's mass so that each flap of its wings propels it further, increasing it's speed. Moltres' dexterity modifier increases by 2 and is added to the damage of its attacks for 3 turns. Attempting to push agility past the 3 turn limit will afflict severe exhaustion status until the buff ends.
Final Smash (1)
Burn Up [Fire]: Moltres expels their internal flame in a fiery explosion wave, dealing 60 damage to all enemies and burning them. This weakens Moltres however. They suffer a -2 on attack rolls and dodge rolls for 3 turns
Other Info: Moltress is Fire/Flying Type. She takes +5 damage from water, ice, electric, and mental attacks, but -8 damage from fire attacks and -5 damage from nature, bug, and fairy attacks.
The soaked status deals 4 damage per turn against Moltres
The frozen status deals 8 damage per turn against Moltress
The flower status only lasts for 2 turns on Moltres.
The burn status heals Moltress for 4 HP every turn instead of damaging it.
Moltress is immune to the effects of extreme heat in the environment. However, they take a -4 when rolling to resist the effects of cold environments.
