Meanwhile around the shop, there were three of Bowser's minions with a bag, but it was no ordinary bag, it was a bag full of Fuzzies.

Of course, the group consisted of a Boo, a Koopa Troopa and a Goomba.

"Hehehe..we'll get that Fawful guy and if that skullhead was right, looks like we're gonna be scaring some kids too." mused the Boo before the Goomba continued, "Yeah, that Fawful is going to get a taste of his own medicine. Lord Bowser would be so proud of us!"

The Koopa Troopa would bring the bag over as the approached the window which was a little high for him.

"Hey guys, a little boost here? And make it quick too! Fawful will be back at anytime and if he catches us, we might end up brainwashed or worse." the Koopa Troopa asked before the Boo looked to the Goomba.

"What? Me?" asked the Goomba as the Boo and the Koopa Troopa nodded.

Moments later, the Goomba was underneath the feet of the Koopa Troopa as he said, "Quick on those Fuzzies. My weight can't hold for much longer!"

The Koopa Troopa threw the bag open and the Fuzzies would come scrambling out in a hurry, which was the easy part however, at the end, the Koopa - Goomba tower would tumble as a lone Fuzzy would be freed and scuttle off in a hurry.

"That's it! Let's get outta here." the Koopa Troopa as he would be the first to get up as the Goomba was in a brief daze. "My head.. ooh.."

The Boo would grab the Goomba as he replied, "Let's go, headbonk!"

As the trio would leave the area, the Fuzzies was scrambling inside the house and would go around to cause trouble as unsecured objects would be misplaced among other things.

It was during the time that Jovie and Midbus were talking to one another but neither would suspect what would happen until seconds later..

"Eeeek!" exclaimed Jovie as she was on top of the chair as she had saw fuzzy creatures running around the shop as well as the house. "M-m-mister Midbus, what are those?"

Jovie was panicking as she was actually trembling nervously while Midbus was attacking the Fuzzies in order to protect Jovie from the creatures.

"Not sure but I will protect you Jovie." 

After all, Fawful did tell him to watch over Jovie as he and Kagami had went out to do some errands while they stay back.

Of course, the creatures were going around and knocking over items among other things, making a mess of the place.

However, it wouldn't be long before a lone Fuzzy hopped at Jovie only for Midbus to swing a hefty punch in mid-air, countering the creature before he would pick up Jovie from the chair, only to hold her in his arms.

"Thank you Mister Midbus." Jovie smiled even though she was nervous. "But the house..the shop even! Mister Fawful and big sis are going to be back anytime."

Jovie was worried about what would Fawful say about this, it was bad news all around.

"Ohh, Jovie has a bad feeling.."

Fawful was not in a good mood. When he was chucked over to the forest part of Harvest Acres he landed in a haystack and it took a while for it to get all of his good clothes. Thankfully he didn't land in mud or anything worse but still it was unpleasant. He was just glad to be home but the minute he opened the door he heard a meooork sound as a Fuzzy latched on to his face draining him of his life energy. He pries it off his face and throws it only to see that the entire shop is flooded with a Fuzzy horde.

"What madness has Fawful returned to?! Midbus, Jovie, I have the demanding of an explanation!" Fawful proclaimed.

He then got out his laser gun and began shooting and freezing some of them.

"Dirty pesky Fuzzies like molded meatballs left under the fridge of grossness, Fawful has not been having a day of goodness so now Fawful shall take out his anger on all of you. I HAVE FURY!" Fawful shouted out.

His Vacuum Helmet flew out of another room and attached itself to his head as he made a confident cross-armed pose as he hovered in the air. Ready to take on the swarm of Fuzzies.

"It's not Jovie or Mister Midbus' fault.." Jovie whimpered as soon, Kagami and Cackletta would come around, both surprised.

"What the heck!?" Kagami exclaimed as she saw the Fuzzies scrambling around the place. "Jovie, what did you do?"

"Those creatures came out of nowhere! Big sis, you have to believe Jovie." Jovie begged as she looked to Kagami with a frown as Midbus was protecting her. "Jovie was talking to Mister Midbus earlier and they came."

Kagami thought for a moment to wonder what was going on and sighed. "We'll talk after this mess is cleaned up. Right now, we got literal pests to take care of."

Cackletta would join in to take down Fuzzies along with Fawful with using her magic to attack the Fuzzies as they would be blasted by an elemental spell of choice, only to retreat outside the shop once they were defeated.

"EEYARGH! Horrid creatures! Begone!"

Jovie was curious of the other that had came in as her eyes widened but she kept silent. She knows in her heart that she is not lying and she would never do such a horrible thing to Fawful and Midbus was just as innocent in this.

"Thanks for the assistance Misstress Cackletta, Kagami if you can be using the amulet of yours to help fend off these finkrats." Fawful asked.

Good thing these Fuzzies were rather weak. As some got onto Fawful he spun around to get them off. Before rolling across the ground squishing some of the Fuzzies flat. Then once in the air, his Vacuum Helmet began shooting blasts of energy at every Fuzzy. Taking them out one cluster at a time. However, the Fuzzies begin forming together into a large ball. Which begins bouncing throughout the room. Fawful manages to dodge out of the way and continues blasting at the ball of Fuzzies.

Chunks of the Fuzzy ball are blasted off. Yet it continues to bounce around attempting to squish Fawful and Cackletta. With his Freeze Ray recharged he fires it at the Fuzzy ball freezing it solid. It crashes to the ground breaking and falling apart into frozen Fuzzies that begin to pile on top of the other Fuzzies. Crushing some of them under the weight.

Some injured Fuzzies managed to successfully latch on to Fawful draining him of his energy and end up reinvigorated. Becoming more hyper as they bounce across the walls and the ceiling. This tight room is making it hard to be able to hit them all and more damage is being done to his shop. Fawful needed to figure out a way to lure them outside. Fawful then had an idea as he then flew to the kitchen.

Midbus shielded Jovie as Cackletta was quick to move out of the way. When Fawful distracted several of the Fuzzies followed after him as planned but as for Kagami, she nodded, "Yeah, I gotcha."

Kagami's amulet glowed as her hands were glowing with the dark magenta she had from the previous time and as the Fuzzies were coming her direction, she halted them with her powers, causing them to levitate in place.

"Say goodnight!" she exclaimed as within the grip, dark crystal spikes grew out of the Fuzzies and practically imploded the creatures. "Ain't gonna miss those creeps anytime soon!"

Jovie felt pretty bad to what is going on and she wants to help, but what could she do? She didn't want to feel like she wasn't any help, she had to!

'Help big sis, help Mister Fawful.. I have to be brave!' Jovie thought as she clasped her hands and close her eyes. 'Please!'

It was at this moment that Kagami felt something was going on with Jovie but was too busy to notice, however, a green aura would be coming off from Jovie and both Kagami and Fawful would be enveloped in it as it would boost their life energy, though, Jovie would feel tired afterwards as she slumped back against Midbus' arm.

She wasn't used to this.

Before leaving the room as Fawful witnessed Kagami using her dark power he couldn't help but be impressed. He couldn't help but laugh at the morbid way those Fuzzies died. However, when a warm green glow reinvigorated him he couldn't help but notice that afterward, Jovie seemed to have passed out. He wondered if there was a correlation, Cackletta sure as heck didn't know any healing spells and it didn't seem to be Kagami's power. That will be something he will have to figure out later.

Finally, he has gotten to the kitchen. He grabbed some leftovers out from the fridge, placed them into a bowl, before putting it into the microwave. After getting it out it was hot and ready, the scent of it wafted through the door as the Fuzzies took notice, their mouths salivating. Fawful flies out of the kitchen, through the shop, and out to the outsides of the shop into the streets and alleyways of the Black Market. What he didn't expect however was there being a lone Fuzzy outside. Which latches onto his face as he goes out of control and flies face first into a wall.

With the soup on the floor, the Fuzzy begins licking it off of the ground. As Fawful pulls himself up the Fuzzy horde then begins charging through the door with some fighting over the spilled soup. Fawful manages to fly out of the way as he lands on the roof of his shop.

"Ha ha ha ha! Fawful has now bundled you up like a bag of fluffy marshmallows ready to be roasted by the fires of Fawful's vengeance! I have fury!" Fawful yelled out.

The way that Kagami took out the Fuzzies not only impressed Fawful but also got Cackletta even more interested, though, that strange green aura that enveloped Fawful and Kagami, now where is that from?

She wasn't sure but atleast with the Fuzzies, they were falling a part from one another and all Cackletta could do is assist Midbus with protecting Jovie as Kagami and Fawful were doing well together.

However, something about Kagami and her sister, no, no, this needs to be taken care of first and they can talk later once it's all said and done.

Kagami rushed outside to assist Fawful to take care of the Fuzzies and channeling the dark power from the amulet, Kagami would focus on the ground to summon the dark crystals around the creatures to surround them in a ring of tall crystals. With that, it took a hefty amount of her stamina but she had to keep on going, though in the midst of this, she never really had the time to stop.

Now the Fuzzies were trapped in this ring as they were too distracted by the delicious soup to pay attention.

"Hehehe..no way out little fuzzballs. Accept your demise!" Kagami exclaimed as her tone was dark but regardless out of excitement. "Alright! Let the fireworks commence! Blast'em off!"

Fawful then reached deep within himself. Gathering whatever little dark energy is within him. As he is surrounded by a black and purple aura. As he is enveloped in shadow only being a silhouette his glasses turn red. As it clears his robe becomes red and purple and becomes more sinister looking with his skin becoming discolored.

"I HAVE DARKNESS!" he shouted.

He then forms a purple orb in one of his hands that begins glowing before launching it at the Fuzzies. As the Fuzzies scream their last meork a large column of dark energy erupts in the epicenter of the enclosed structure from Kagami's dark crystals. As the dark crystals shatter not a single nearby building was harmed as the Fuzzies were all gone. Fawful then begins breathing heavily as he exits his Dark Fawful form.

"Fawful only wishes he could use that form longer, just to try it against those finkrat Mario Bros. since it didn't work on the Bowser." Fawful said.

He then floats down with his Vacuum Helmet as he goes back inside. The entire shop was a mess. Things broken across the floor, various things knocked over, traces of fuzz here and there, unconscious and game overed Fuzzies littering the floor along with a lot of traces of their fuzz. It's going to take all day just to clean this up, luckily this is not entirely Fawful's problem. Still, though he wondered how this happened.

"Midbus, please be cleaning of this messness while Fawful looks at the security footage on the cameras that are on the inside and outside," Fawful asked politely.

He then walks over to the security room he keeps locked. Since this Black Market area is extremely shady he has hidden security cameras to make sure nothing gets stolen so he can blackmail some customers later. He rewinds the camera footage till before the fight and from the monitor that shows footage of the outside he sees the perpetrators. Bowser's minions came in with a bag of Fuzzies and dumped them in his home. It seems he owes Midbus and Jovie an apology.

"Yes Lord Fawful." Midbus nodded before he asked, "But what of Jovie?"

"I'll take care of her." Cackletta replied before she continued, "She is resting and someone has to look for her in the meanwhile."

Midbus didn't know what to say as he took orders from Fawful but he would hand Jovie to Cackletta, who would take her to a nearby couch to rest the child in. Jovie's eyes were still closed but she was having a peaceful rest regardless.

However, it wouldn't be long before Kagami would return to the house from outside, only to see Jovie resting on the couch and Cackletta close to the young child, watching her, as Midbus would start doing cleanup duty.

The Fuzzies were gone, but there was the manner of Jovie and well other things, the fact that Kagami literally saw the Dark Fawful transformation while they both took out the Fuzzies, was something, but to be honest, Kagami was glad those Fuzzies were gone, good riddance.

"They really ransacked this place." Kagami sighed to herself as she noticed the mess more. "Good grief."

"Was it always like this?" Cackletta asked as Kagami replied as she shut the door behind her,"Not really, it's actually kinda peaceful out here? Though then again, this is a shady part of town so it's often quiet.. though, my suspicion about those Fuzzies is that someone or something was trying to disrupt things."

She looked to Jovie, feeling bad somewhat.

"..I guess I had been sorta harsh on Jovie. She knows better not to cause issues with Fawful or even Midbus for that matter. She's childish, sure, but not this bad, because I don't believe she would go this far to actively ruin someone's day and leave them hanging. In fact, she would try to get things cleaned up, well, if she isn't tired like this.."

Kagami was still wondering..

Earlier the minions who dumped the Fuzzies were chilling in Bowser's territory of the Black Market. Sitting on a rooftop eating some ice cream.

"Hey, do you think we should've done more than dump some Fuzzies into Fawful's shop while he was not there?" the Boo asked.

"They're not supposed to beat him, it's about getting revenge. Ruining his day is good enough revenge for me." the Goomba said.

"Yeah, and Bowser is going to like to hear about how we ruined Fawful's day. Bet he'll love to hear how Fawful was knocked down a peg." the Koopa Troopa said.

And that is when they witnessed the column of dark energy shoot up in the air and almost hit the dome of the Life Sphere before dissipating. With their mouths agape they all drop their ice cream in shock.

"You know maybe we shouldn't mess with him again," the Goomba said.


The others nodded in agreement.

Back in the present Fawful then came out of the room. Jovie was still unconscious/resting. Either from the shock of the Fuzzies or due to her being the one using that strange power that healed him he is uncertain. Luckily he has his own way of healing. His Vacuum Helmet sprays a healing mist on Jovie from its mouth nozzle it sprays some on Kagami as well.

"Fawful was too quick to jump to the conclusions as Fawful day has been the very bad one Midbus. Fawful is sorry to accuse you of what happened. It was those awful minions of the Koopa King Bowser that dumped the Fuzzies into Fawful's shop. They are going to be having the paying of this even if Fawful has to go to Bowser directly and tell him off to his big dumb face." Fawful said.

Midbus nodded in understanding and with Fawful mentioning with revenge, Kagami nodded. "They were worse this time but you know, everyone did a good job with booting the Fuzzies out. Though, Jovie.. "

She was looking to her younger sister from afar.

It would be several minutes before eventually, Jovie would start to open her eyes slowly as she would see Fawful, Midbus, Cackletta and Kagami.

"..big sis..Mister Fawful..Mister Midbus..and..?" Jovie mumbled a bit before she noticed the mess and her eyes widened as she would spring up onto her feet. "This mess! No! It's worse than Jovie thought!"

Of course, she would immediately go to work into helping with the cleanup which Kagami nervously chuckled."Oh, there she goes again. The whole morning routine ordeal in full swing again, haha!"

Cackletta was also surprised but she did smile. "She's already the eager worker."

"Ah yes the mess, well it is not of your doing Jovie so you do not need to be doing the cleaning of it up. Fawful has found out the perpetrators were some minions of Bowser who were still mad at Fawful and dumped Fuzzies into Fawful's lovely home. Fawful is sorry for assuming you were the one responsible Fawful had not the best of days. Fawful was thrown by a big brute of a plant man that puts manly coconuts to shame." Fawful said.

With that out of the way and in a better mood, he helps to clean as well. Luckily his Vacuum Helmet would make quick work of most of the mess. As its mouth nozzle sucked up all of the fuzz and dead/unconscious Fuzzies littering the ground. As well pieces of broken glass and pottery. Especially so Jovie won't have to pick up or cut herself on the broken shards. What peeves Fawful the most about this is all the money it will take to replace some of the stuff that the Fuzzies broke.

Maybe he can use the video as evidence and have those punks or even Bowser arrested. Or sue Bowser for damages if he can get a good lawyer in the Life Sphere. Now that he thinks about it. That's probably better than a direct assault. He doesn't want to get thrashed by him again now to mention Bowser has the numbers advantage with his minions and children by his side.

Jovie stopped as she came to realize that Fawful was already ahead of her and already did the cleanup, though Fawful apologizing, the youngest was quick to accept the apology.

"We all have those days but I accept your apology Mister Fawful." she smiled back though she wondered for a bit as even though she was doing better, she did feel guilty. "Though, Jovie feels bad for not doing more."

"Don't be hard on yourself Jovie." Kagami reassured with a nod. "Besides, I know that you helped out."

Jovie blinked twice and pointed to herself. "..I..did, but..how?"

Kagami nodded. "Somehow, you managed to heal both me and Fawful when we were fighting off those Fuzzies. After all, I did see a green aura coming off from you moments before you passed out."

Jovie wasn't fully sure of what was going on as she would eventually closed her eyes, sighing, "Ah, sorry big sis, but Jovie is confused!"

Cackletta was watching the young ones talking along and to be fair, atleast they seem to get along with each other, well, much better than what she remembered as Bean was the one that would cause her trouble, though she couldn't let Fawful know of this truth.

It wouldn't be long before Jovie would look to Cackletta for a moment. "Excuse Jovie for asking but who are you? I'm Jovie!"

"Hello Jovie, my name is Cackletta." Cackletta responded as Jovie giggled, "Is it okay if Jovie calls Cackletta Miss Cackletta?"

"You may." Cackletta nodded before she looked to Fawful with a calm but reassuring smile, however, remembering her part, she didn't mentioned it.

After all, Fawful did ask of her to respect his status as a full fledged villain, but he'll always be a part of her life.

"While it is a pleasure to meet the children, how did you meet them Fawful?"

It has been getting to Cackletta for awhile especially when she doesn't know where they are from.

Fawful managed to get most of the mess cleaned up, but there were still various items misplaced and lying on the ground that weren't broken. Like some chair and a big cabinet. Luckily Midbus can do the cabinet while Fawful picks up the smaller things. That is when Cackletta asked how he met Kagami and Jovie.

"Fawful found them in the Life Sphere alone, wandering the streets of the Life Sphere with nowhere else to go, Fawful felt that there was something off about one of them and Fawful offered them Fawful's services. Along the way Fawful ran into some of Bowser's minions who attacked Fawful accusing Fawful of mind controlling them and Kagami saved Fawful. As for where they came from Fawful does not know. Fawful does know they have nowhere else to go as they are the orphaned. That's all Fawful knows unfortunately sorry it is not a more grander tale," Fawful said.

And with everything unbroken put back into place he admired his work. That's when he noticed that a painting of himself was crooked and he groaned with frustration as he had his Vacuum Helmet lift himself to put it back into place. After which he begins to sit down wearily. Using the Dark Star power like that has taken a lot out of him. He can only do it once per day after all but he used up a LOT of energy just to be able to take them down in one fell swoop. He really could use a nap at this point.

"Yeah and Jovie helped Mister Fawful out from those bullies as well." Jovie added with a nod while looking to Cackletta before sh looked over to Fawful. "Though, Mister Fawful, you look tired. Please get some rest and let us take care of it."

She didn't want Fawful to overwork himself as she was worried, frowning somewhat.

"Jovie has a point. After things had been rough, ya should really get some shuteye." Kagami suggested with a shrug. "Though, that's up to you, we're just suggesting."

Cackletta was amused to fact that Kagami & Jovie was helping out Fawful, though, when she has a chances, she would need to have a talk with Midbus eventually, well, when he isn't too busy because he is actually doing some work in the background.

"Orphans? Hmm, it's almost ironic considering that Fawful was also an orphan himself as well." Cackletta mused as she was remembering about the past somewhat.

"We know of that story." Kagami nodded as she looked back to Cackletta as she crossed her arms, "Fawful dropped the 411 on that when he brought us along, so you know."
