Therion
Orsterra, Octopath Traveler
Alignment: Chaotic Neutral
Motto: "Like a thief in the night."
Allies/Friends: Ophilia, Cyrus, Olberic, Primrose, Alfyn, H'aanit, Tressa, Cordelia Ravus, Heathcote
Enemies/Rivals: Galdera, The Rich™
Backstory: no.
History On Li: With the fall of Galdera - and Therion would be the first to admit that he thought his whole party was dead to rights - Therion sensed that his adventures with the group were coming to an end. Fighting any longing in his heart, Therion prepares to slip away wordlessly from the group, as quietly as he first arrived.
Unfortunately, Therion's luck finally takes a blip, and instead of getting his wish, Therion finds himself slipping away and landing into into an entire other world - Li, where he wakes in a field seemingly in the middle of nowhere.
In time, Therion finds his way to the Life Sphere, but he's not quite benevolent enough to immediately pitch in where the 'survival' thing is concerned - but making himself more wealthy is definitely a valid option.
[PTabbedContent=Attacks and Abilities][PTab=Primary Attacks]Attack: The basic attack command, Therion attacks a target with his daggers. Can be used once for 18% or in a combo for 8% an attack.
[DEX, 18% or 8% Combo]
HP Thief: Therion attacks a target twice for 8% damage, regenerating half as much HP as he deals.
[DEX, two hits of 8%, heals for half damage dealt.]
Armor Corrosive: Therion magically weakens the defenses of a target, allowing his attacks to deal additional damage. Causes Therion's attacks to deal an additional 2% a hit for two turns.
[WIS vs INT, causes Therion's attacks to deal an additional 2% for two turns.]
[/PTab={min-height:150px;max-height:300px;overflow:auto;}]
[PTab=Special Attacks]Boost: The power of the gods flow through those from Orsterra, starting as a simmering red flame and building into a blazing blue inferno rivaling the Sacred Flame itself. Therion, much like any other character from Octopath, is capable of utilizing this power.
At the start of his turn, Therion gains one BP up to a max of five, and can consume them as a bonus action before using an attack to increase the number of times he uses an attack.
Hide: Therion expertly conceals his presence, stifling attempts to detect him, whether via magical means or normal ones. In battle, Therion can only use Hide as his last action in a turn, and using it in this way gives him advantage on dodges performed and allows him to perform Trick Attack as his first action next turn. After use, this ability has a three turn cooldown.
Trick Attack: Therion does his best work when not seen by an opponent. When used normally, this attack deals 20% damage, but if Therion hasn't been detected by his target (or under the effect of Hide) Therion performs a sneak attack that deals 32% damage and rolls at advantage. Has a three turn cooldown.
[DEX 20% if detected, DEX 32% and rolls at advantage if undetected. Three turn cooldown.]
[/PTab={min-height:150px;max-height:300px;overflow:auto;}]
[PTab=Final Smash]Aeber's Reckoning: "Time to steal the show."
Therion invokes the power of the Prince of Thieves, Aeber, causing wind to come rushing forth from behind him and slash at his opponents. Deals 60% to one target.
[/PTab={min-height:150px;max-height:300px;overflow:auto;}]
[PTab=Other Info]Therion completes his initial infiltration into the Ravus's estate alone, as only makes sense, seeing as it's a stealth mission, and how the hell do you sneak eight people into a mansion?[/PTab={min-height:150px;max-height:300px;overflow:auto;}]
