[DLN-002 Roll Light]

Roll would come up to the most likely location given her.... unique energy signature hopping off of Beat. She was wearing a scarf and warmer dress as she checked her device. "Yeah, I think she came this way. I don't know why she would run to a place like this though..." Roll questioned as she waited for the others. As they would gather from inside inside the worn down facility came two balls of light. The balls of light would shift into a physical shape.

"Oh, visitors, that is really unexpected."
"Visitors! Quite unexpected indeed!"
"Very few visit this graveyard."
"Far too gloomy and scary for most. How brave."
"... Hm? Ciel?"
"Been a long time. Familiar face. Alouette seems to be here too."
"... Sure that's Ali? She looks much too old."
".... Yes, now I look she much too old. Still plays with dolls though."
"May we ask why you came?"
"Surely not without a good reason."

The Cyber Elf beings greeted. They did not seem to be bearing ill will... Well, not yet at least. Their expressionless faces was impossible to sort out their true nature.

Nearby was a being whose signature...barely resembles X.

A fast yet frightening trip in the van, driven by the former Mother Units of all people (never let Yuna drive), and Rock Volnutt arrived at this frozen wasteland. The android girl (now pseudo-Reploid), Roll Light, called a mission to search for one of the Ailes. Frankly, Rock didn't know that there was more than one of his...well...it's too awkward to call her...'mother'. Frankly, he's not sure if that's somewhat accurate, for Yuna could've been messing with him. But that question can wait as Rock hurried through the icy land. He's so glad that his robotic body is cold-resistant, but this place is nothing compared to the polar ice caps back home. Frankly, I have no idea how their limb switching works. Where do their organic-like parts go?

"Sera, is Roll nearby?" MegaMan asked, running through the snowy lands.

"The android's location is around that mountain of scrap, Trigger," his 'Spotter' answered.

Running around the corner of the scrap pile, Rock spotted the younger-looking and android version of his friend, Roll Caskett. It's...so wild, yet weird, how much alike this Roll is to his. Heck, the other Rock looks like him. At this point, Yuna's explanation is all he has to explain, but it doesn't explain the Rolls.

"Roll!" Rock called, hurrying over to her.

Vroom! Ciel and Prairie were speeding toward the frozen scrapyard at an uncomfortable pace, bouncing a startled Prairie around who clung to Ciel's waist so that she wouldn't get bounced off the matching pink motorcycle they were riding. The cycle was designed for off-roading, featuring treads instead of wheels, but there was only so much you could design around when the terrain was this uneven. Especially when Ciel insisted upon hitting the gas like this... As it stood though, she'd weighed the risks in her mind and a bit of discomfort and soreness was a worthy sacrifice in this specific scenario.

When they finally arrived, she opened the storage container on the cycle and gazed at the two biometals within. Model X ... and Model Z. Normally Model Z was the biometal that gave her the most confidence, but this particular situation felt like it called for Model X specifically. Regardless, she took both just in case. Shutting the container and leaving the cycle locked where it stood, bulky enough that it needed no kickstand. Nearby, Prairie stumbled off the bike and brushed her coat down. In her other arm she clutched a doll close to her chest. She hoped it would survive to their destination. She hoped she would survive. ...She hoped Aile would survive. All she had to protect herself was an energy pistol at her hip and a couple of items she'd thought to grab.

However, both were taken entirely off guard by a pair of familar elves appearing before them.

...Huh? The Baby Elves!

'Baby' elves..?

Ciel glanced over to Prairie briefly, visibly troubled by this development. Being a civilian reploid, those things could probably end Prairie in an instant, or worse--turn her against the party using their ability to manipulate robots. Roll probably stood a better chance, but even then she wasn't sure. Zero was pretty much the only reploid she would've felt comfortable saying could definitely resist their influence. That meant this mission was about to get more complicated. She needed to handle this... with care.

...We're searching for a cyber elf named Aile. She's precious to me, and she ran away recently.

I'd like it if you could come back with us too, but I need to prioritize rescuing Aile right now. Have you... seen her?

"I am so going to slap her for this..."

Aile grumbled, mostly to herself as she rode a bike. Still, this caught the attention of a Rush-surfing Mega Man, and an Ultimate Armor-glider-riding X. "I mean, not that you probably can slap her, since she's sorta...intangible." Rock said. "Still, not that I would approve of using violence to begin with..." he continued. "Yeah, well maybe she shouldn't be so thick-headed and stubborn and stupid, and---ugh! This is stuff I used to do!" Aile complained. "I just..." she sighs. "...why does she have to fall in the same pitfalls that I do?"

"...some people understand by actions, Aile, not words." X decided to chime in. "If you two really are so similar, then you too, at one point, needed to understand that your actions led somewhere, whether good or bad." he continued. Aile hummed in thought, though...not much else. Clearly she kind of agreed with what he said. "Then, it's up to us to show that her actions led somewhere...hopefully a place where she understands your love for her." X said with a slight awkwardness in his tone of voice. Aile smiled a bit. "Heh, yeah...makes sense. Thanks, X." she said.

"Heh, that's X for you. A nugget of infinite wisdom." Rock said with a smirk, causing X to hum a bit and look away. "I guess...I just absorbed a lot of experience." X meekly said, before focusing on the area that was approaching. Looks like they were going to meet up with the others soon.

As the trio reached, Aile parked her bike, X sent the Ultimate Armor glider away as he landed on the ground, and so did Mega Man, Rush turning back into robo-doggo mode. "Hey, we're here! Sorry for the delay. Had to get Rush ready..." Rock said, greeting the others with a wave. Aile walked a bit forward, looking at the entrance with a steeled gaze. "So she's in there, huh?" she asked...no one in particular. People could tell there was a fire in her eyes that basically said she was going to drag the other Aile's ass back to them, come hell or high water. "Hang in there, sis..." she said to herself, but before anything could be done further...two Cyber Elves appeared. Really different ones.

X in particular looked at the two Cyber Elves with...a confused glance. Strange, why did it feel like those two had some...vague familiar feelings to him? Like...a deja vu to something that hasn't happened yet? A paradoxical premonition, perhaps...? Still, it didn't look like a fight was bout to break out...just yet. "Yes, we've been looking for her." X added. "Her family's been quite worried about her. If you know anything about where she might have gone to, it would be greatly appreciated if you could tell us..." X said. Look at him thinking he isn't part of the family. He's...kind of looking nervous and on guard a bit, like he's expecting a fight to break out. Within his thoughts however, he hoped this could be resolved with just words...

Grey didn't miss this feeling. Sprinting to the middle of nowhere in a scrapyard of waste, covered in a... Painfully familiar energy. It was unnerving. It made his synthetic skin crawl. And the cold wasn't helping either.

"This is my fault, isn't it?"


"Grey you don't know that."


"Then why does it feel like it? It's too soon after that stupid idea."


Model A didn't have a response to that... And it was all the confirmation Grey needed. He'd screwed up. Again. And now he had to fix this mess that he'd created. He'd get Aile back one way or the other. And everyone was coming home. Quickly, the Megaman rushed onto the scene, skidding to a halt as he looked to the others. He didn't have his Busters out, but it was hard to ignore the way he was bent forward slightly, trigger finger slightly itchy. He was expecting a fight. Just something in his gut said that if he screwed up... A fight was soon to come.

He really hoped he was wrong.

As he looked to the others, his gaze was quick to flick away, he couldn't handle saying much right now. The pit in his gut was too big. He wanted to say... Something, but his throat had locked up the moment he saw the others. He didn't really know why Aile had come to a place like this... But this place felt just wrong to him. And that only made him feel worse. He was glad he'd been following the others... He never would've been able to find Aile on his own. The entire trip however he'd kept to himself, scanning the horizon, and just... Trying not to look too much at the others. He didn't even know what had gotten into his head. But he just couldn't... Settle.

And when the baby elves showed up... The pit in his gut suddenly exploded in density. They were so... Unsettling. He didn't have anything to back up his sensation. It was just a thought. A tiny suspicion. Cyber Elves weren't exactly common. And their sudden appearance.. It reminded him too much of them. Of Prometheus and Pandora. The cryptic way they spoke... Their bizarre aura. It was just too familiar. It was eerie. He so desperately wanted to be wrong. And yet... A part of him just knew... This wasn't going to end well. Things with his bizarre family never seemed to, despite themselves.

"It's... Dangerous out here, isn't it? If we can find her and take her home quickly that'd be... A massive relief."


For now, he decided to make the only decision that ever seemed to end in success. Trust the better judgement of everyone else... And keep his trigger finger hot in case everything went wrong. Because god knows he never seemed to make the right call with these situations anymore.

Vent arrives by foot at the location, seeing as this place gave him the creeps, the only thing that could be worse for people is the fact that Mavericks might turn up while the group was unprepared. "And here I thought I'd seen the last of this frozen hellscape... Oh well; nothing ventured nothing gained, I suppose." he would say as he looked at the group, he knew of some of them, but others he did not, and he was glad for having company.

[Kalinka Cossack]

Kalinka was awfully quiet as she emerged into the frozen wastes, looking away and down as her arms were crossed, as Pharoh Man joined behind her...Being here, It reminded her mostly of the events of Rescuing Dr. Wily, and of course...Her father's demise. Kalinka seemed awfully sore still, rubbing the arm of her red coat as she approached the rest of the group, coming in awfully late as her and her companion, Pharoh Man, Looked to everyone with mild interest.

"Erm...Is this where Aile ran off to...?" Kalinka would ask softly-- Quickly making her way over to Ciel to be close to her mother.

"Megaman! You could make it-" Roll smiled a bit at the blue man before looking back to the foreboding lights. Or at least she felt Mom's caution a bit to these Cyber Elves.  Not to mention something about them seemed to... intensify? It was hard to describe- She's just going to step back to Mom's and Kalinka's positions.

"... You'd want us to come with you?"

"Or maybe that's why. You want to make sure we aren't a problem, right?"
"Yes, just like that poor creation of yours you refused to help when her limbs were broken."
"Or the copy of X you had murdered."
"Or that time you used your own family to fight off him." They looked to Grey
"Or the time she was kidnapped." Then they looked to Aile
"Or the time one of her got corrupted by the Mirage." Then Roll
"Or the time you split up in this very region. Almost lost more family then too..." They shook their bodies as if to mimic headshaking.
"How did saving dear old dad go?" They then looked to Kalinka and Megaman
"You really believe you're the safest option for her?" the Cyber Elves asked in unison


Roll flinched a bit at all the accusations. It's true they had a... lot of rough times but how did they know all that? Were they watching them that long? "Well, I think she'd be better off than here at least. Being by yourself out here is not good for anyone. And we can solve why ever she ran out here together."

"Solve? One can not simply solve all that regret and anguish."
"All you'll do is add to it."
"We brought her here to see Mother. Mother will give her the power she needs. The peace she wants."
"Mother will cleanse all. With the spirit of the Hero and the power like her own Aile is the key."
"Mother told us not to let anyone interfere with the merging."
"Leave now or prepare for trouble."
"And make it double."

They warned. The group can either choose to keep reasoning with them or decide talk is cheap. Either way though they haven't attacked yet seeming to give them ample time to go home if they want to. "... We can't... And who's Mother?"

"The Mother of all Cyber Elves."
"The Mother Elf herself.

The moment he caught up with the robot Roll, everyone else just...arrived...some in cool ways. The little Mega Man riding on a robot dog, the taller Mega Man...X was it...coming in in a crazy armor?! It seems the red Mega Man arrived on foot, but man, does his armor look impressive! Rock feels so inadequate compared to some of the others. His armor and weapons are rather... primitive compared to theirs, and he's from the far future!

However, there's this girl, accompanied by some desert robot, who's making him rather concerned for her safety. He just hopes she has some backup plan to protect herself in case that robot can't. And he's pretty sure that Dr. Ciel has some sort of weapon or armor on her if she came alone.

Oh, those uh...weird...talking ball devices, whatever they are. They do seem...vaguely familiar, but he's been getting that feeling a lot that he gave up trying to find out why. Just what are they talking about? Who's this...Mother? Do they mean a Mother Unit? Are they part of the Elder System? Oh wait, they mean...mother elves. Is that what they are? Again, why does that sound so familiar?

"Uhhh...guys, I'm still new here. What are they talking about?"

"Oh, nothing, Trigger. They're just messing with their heads by mentioning their past, maybe secret, mistakes. Just their way of not lifting a metaphorical finger."

Well, that's not going to make things any better, nor scare his team away. Some of them might react very emotionally. "Hey, that's not fair, you two! We just want to help this girl!"
