We are an immersive DC Comics Elseworlds Gotham City based roleplay forum set in a slightly different, yet very similar reality, to what we're already familiar with. The year is not revealed nor defined - it is meant to be ambiguous. the setting is supposed to feel a bit otherworldly and anachronistic - something like what we see in the television show, Riverdale, where the scenery, props and wardrobe make you question whether you're viewing 2020 or 1950 (or anywhere in between); we're not really supposed to be able to pinpoint what year it is - it's just "right now". If this were a film production, it might be a collaboration between David Lynch and Tim Burton.
We will refer to our “present day” as Year Four (as this is the fourth year that Batman has been protecting Gotham City). Years One through Three will also be available, if you so desire to write threads set in the Past.
