It had been some time since Rebecca had arrived here, and it was quite an unusual place to say the least.  Things were nothing like what Rebecca had seen in Raccoon City, and the fact that such a thing existed was truly amazing to her.  Then again, after all she had seen with the Umbrella Corporation, was such a thing as Li truly so far fetched?

As time had gone on, Rebecca had learned to get herself acquainted with Li and had even managed to put her skills to good use.  She had taken the time to help out the Toads in the Police Headquarters as well as provide medical assistance to Nurse Joy in the Lightweather Hospital.  At the same time, Rebecca had learned about the world she was now in and it helped her to get a better feel for things.

Today was just another day it seemed as Rebecca emerged from her home and was walking through Brightwing Lane with her hands clasped behind her.  She looked around a little, taking in the various sights and sounds.  She had already gotten to know some of the inhabitants here, but she knew there were others here that she had yet to meet.

Who would they be? What would they be like?

Thankfully for her the only person who was also outside, was a young boy who was currently training his swordplay in the park, but not with a real sword; oh no. He was doing this with a wooden stick that could easily be as tall as he was.

"Phew, now this is a good workout, might have lost count past 100." the boy said as he continues to swing that stick, which he was aiming at a tree so he doesn't hit anyone.

When it comes to swords, Rebecca's not too keen on them. She prefers using her combat knife. Still, she knows that others have their own preferred weapons. When Rebecca spots the boy practicing with a practice sword, she stops and watches him, smiling a little. There's something about his style that indicates he's not just pretending to be a swordsman but actually practicing his skills, and this draws Rebecca's attention to him even more.

The young boy would almost abruptly start up with his practice swings, though he was not exactly paranoid, one could easily tell that he was determined to find a way to get a proper railroad system in place so he could transport people to their destination with some "exceptions" and bring back the resources they have gathered for the return trip alongside the people that were brought to said location, which was when he took notice of the girl watching him.

"Hello there, nice weather we're having." the boy would say calmly, hefting his practice sword over his shoulder.

Upon having the boy speak to her, Rebecca turned to face him and gave him a friendly smile. "Yes, it is quite nice I have to say!" Truth be told, Rebecca was a little nervous right now, but this young man seemed perfectly harmless. She moved a little closer and said, "I'm Rebecca Chambers, I just arrived here recently so I'm still getting used to this place."

She watched the boy practice a little while with his sword and then commented, "You've got quite the skill, I have to say!"

"Pleased to make your acquaintance, I'm Link, I am but a simple humble train conductor... Which I would be able to continue doing so if there was a way to get a proper railroad system in place." Link would say as an introduction, the other part of it being said with a twinge of bitterness due to there being no way for him to operate a train without any train tracks for him to use.

"Thanks, I've been training myself in the event that something bad happens, thankfully I don't use the Lokomo Sword that I keep sheathed when I'm training; just sticks that I occasionally find on the ground. Only time I actually had to use the Lokomo Sword was when I fought against a behemoth of a monster that was bigger than I was." He added, pointing out the actual blade that was strapped to his back with his thumb.
