Big The Cat - The Officer Cat!?!

So, I was going through some lightly used areas around the site and thought of some amazing use for the Job Claims market of having Big apply to be a police officer, and this is due to his lawful nature of wanting to be of use and do the most good for people of the Life Sphere, and also his recent realization of feeling useless due to his halloween party not being as big of a success as he wanted, at least in his mind!

So I want to make a story arc thread/mission where Big is put through a rigorous training by Captain Falcon, and would love any other character who may want to go this very lawful direction to take part in it as well. Should it just be a 1 on 1 situation or do any of you have other characters that may partake? I also was thinking this special training could give Big a permanent stat increase somewhere of +1, but, that is not for sure. Mr. Game & Watch would love to have Captain Falcon involved! And maybe see if one of Big's stats can increase due to this rigorous training, if not, at least have him become a police officer when he's done that's fine too.

When Big becomes officerfied I was also thinking about doing a Justice Guild kind of creation to also give guilds more love and have Big head that. Just because his presence on the site is the comedic lovable oaf, and since he's popular enough, I can see this working. But other feedback and input is appreciated!

Seifer Almassy - The One True Sorcerer Knight

Because Seifer's constant craving for battle and power, I think becoming a bounty hunter suits him, along with his firey personality I think it would be a great direction and give that bounty thread more excitement. I love the characters I've seen in the bounty thread and their back stories, so Seifer would definitely be a wonderful vessel to move that along. But, I would also love others to join him in his sudden burst of bounty lust and have a plot device involved having Seifer struggle with making the right choices whether to kill or not to kill and fight his past devious behavior to try to turn over a new leaf, but always in the end fighting his inner demons. His direction would be chosen by those that he surrounds himself with. Black Shadow used to be his mentor, so others trying to persuade him one way or another would be interesting.

I also would like to know if anyone that owns the current bounty characters on the board, would be willing to work with this plot idea if a bounty thread was made and what bounties may work best with his struggling spirit.

I could have Shizuka run into Seifer at some point and maybe join him and help him reform and make the right decisions, since she's trying to reform too, and maybe try to get her bounty off of her so she can look for her friend Rosalyn Hollotus. She probably won't care about how he knows Black Shadow, since she hasn't met him before and she's willing to befriend someone like Seifer.

As long as he doesn't hurt any animals, Shizuka loves animals.

Big the Cat

I’d love to have Captain Falcon involved in training Big up to officer status, gives me an excuse to bust out his underground dojo again.

I don’t think we can give him a permanent buff to his STR stat though, that’s not really a thing that just gets passed around, otherwise older characters would be jacked in terms of their stat distribution. You could rearrange his stats to reflect him becoming a bit more buff, maybe decrease his WIS or DEX by 1 and redistribute that to his STR stat. Becoming an officer also comes with benefits, which could be seen as character growth though.

I’ve also thought of making a sort of Police/Justice guild with Captain Falcon as the head of it, but considering that he’s Chief of Police already and that’s already kind of a guild anyways, I didn’t see reason to. But once Big get his badge, it would certainly work for him to head that group.

Seifer Almassy

Hmm… in terms of bounties, I know I put up a few a little while back. I’m sure you’ve looked over some of them already, but I’ll list a few that I have up considering that they differ in terms of morality and what Seifer would get out of them.

Cyrus was involved in Absolution as one of Sonic/Mephiles’s co-conspirators. This would be an arrest warrant offered by the Life Sphere to detain a potentially dangerous criminal, and it offers a decent reward. For Seifer to take on this job it would be a bit on the morally lighter side, so I don’t think it would be something that would make him struggle with his inner demons, aside from the fact that Cyrus is meant to be taken in alive, so killing him would be out of the question. That could certainly be played with.

Hitman Alley is a bit sketchier, so playing with Seifer’s morality might come into play better here. If he’s out for money, Lusamine has a decently big price attached to her. She’s the head of a Pokemon shelter, though has a questionable background. Out of all of my characters, she would probably put up the best fight, that’s for sure. Depending on what you want to do though, we could have it that Lusamine tries to sweet talk or manipulate Seifer. They battle for a bit, Lusamine realizes that he has a lot of inner turmoil and angst and talks him out of the hit he’s taking on her and sort of nudges him into working for her instead.

Then there’s Zelda. Easy target, easy money. Depending on Seifer’s morality, this would probably be the most dubious hit for him to take, considering that the Deku Scrub making the bounty is a shady character and Zelda is far more innocent a figure than Lusamine. He would essentially be kidnapping a young princess and delivering her to this creepy plant man to do who knows what. That could certainly be played with, Seifer could have hang ups about what he’s doing all that jazz. If he does successfully return Zelda to the Deku Scrub, he would also make an offer for another job, which could involve Seifer and a couple other unscrupulous adventurers.
