Flayn would say, pacing back and forth happily, before taking a deep, resolving breath.

"Pace yourself, Flayn. If Seteth insists that i have other girls with me, then we must wait!"


And like that, Flayn stood aside the door, rocking back and forth, as a few random goers walked into the mall on there own accord, as Flayn awaited with her own mental list of places to go.

Amelia decided to take a break looking for her friends, well, she hoped that the new mall would at least find her stuff that will help her on her search, so she's technically not taken a break from looking for them. She's just seeing the mall as an opportunity, and for a way for her to gain new friends.

Such as Flayn as she approached her to help her with the mission by helping her around the mall for the sake of her overprotective brother. She tapped on Flayn's shoulder, she seems excited with wanting to go into this mall.

"Hi, i'm here to help you escort you around the mall, it's nice to meet you as well Flayn." Amelia was also excited as well, since it would be her first mission here, so she can start off nice and easily. She looked over at the mall after bowing politely to Flayn and shrugged.

"Malls, it looks alright, although i'm not a fan of them if they don't have anything useful." Amelia said her opinion about the mall to Flayn, although it would look like a nice place to hang out.

Maybe she should take her friends there when she finds them.

Amithree made her way to the mall, making things easier with her wings of light. She could of swore this place felt super foreboding a moment ago... It was probably her nerves getting the best of her. This was just a simple walk through the mall with some girls, it shouldn't be that hard a mission. She makes sure Flayn stays safe, have a good time, leave with a clear conscious. She made sure to deactivate her wings to make them disappear a distance away. That looked liked the girl in the picture and she already seemed to be with another girl... Assumingly another escort for the worried... brother?

Well, she had time to steal her nerves on the way here, should probably introduce herself. "It does look like a pretty big shopping district, I am sure it has all kinds of things," the girl commented as she walked to the groups. "Hi, Flayn, I'm Amitie. Nice to meet you and I hope this mall trip turns out to be a good experience for all of us," she greeted with a smile... She still had some conflict in her head but she was doing her best to cover it up right now. Here's to this being an easy task that might actually be more relaxation than stress... Afterall, what could go wrong in a mall?

While the other girls converged, Minako was looking at a magazine store. She was out of her school uniform for once, sporting an orange shirt alongside white pants and sandals, though her ears were covered by her ever-present crimson headphones that were blasting a cheerful tune from her 2008-ish music player. (She was honestly pretty surprised at how it worked like a charm even after all that happened.) After a while of browsing, she decided that nothing of interest was catching her attention, and walked off the store, bidding farewell to the clerk all the while.

After a moment or two, the redhead stretched her arms a bit. "All right! I'm feeling pretty good!" she said to herself. Well, that was enough time spent dawdling, surely Flayn and the other two would've reached their destination by now. Making sure her naginata was on her back and the Evoker safely tucked on her belt, she made her way to the shopping center.

Sure enough, she guessed correctly. Flayn, Amelia and Amithree were all there, right at the entrance of the mall. "Hey!" she called, waving at them before getting closer. "You must be Flayn-san. I'm Minako Arisato! Nice to meet you all!" she introduced herself, bowing in the process. "Sorry if I made everyone wait, I might've gotten a bit distracted." she admitted, fiddling with her fingers a bit. "But I'm all ready now! Let's go check that mall out!" Minako would raise both her voice and a fist in the air. Well, someone was excited.

Flayn, upon seeing a group of girls approach her, she smiled happily at the sight, waving to the group  as she approached them in equal glee. "Hi there, all of you~! I guess my brother couldnt help but get someone roped into helping me...But, If it allows me to have a time with friends, I suppose i should count my blessings~" Flayn would say happily, before digging into her back pocket, producing a neatly folded piece of paper, Unfolding it to reveal a Hand drawn map of the entire mall, dotted with three circles. In the center, The Food Court, on the left, Cool Topics, the Right, White Magic R Us, and at the top, or furthest side of the mall, 'Grandpa's Candy Factory'

"So, ive selected four parts of the mall for us to visit, The Food court seems to be a location of many restaurants to eat at, And i'd like to see if they have anywhere with Fish~! I'd like to visit that first~" She would say, tapping the center.

"Then after that, We can either go to White Magic R Us, or 'Cool Topics'. I practice the magic of faith, Which is focus in supporting allies from a distance, and healing them. White Magic seems to be a similar kind of magic, so, I'd like to see if theres anything there that could help me practice more. And this 'Cool Topics' place, i dont know much about, But accordingly it is a place for youths like myself to share enjoyable topics and stories. It sounds quite lovely!"

"And lastly, the Candy Factory! It sounds like something we can enjoy at the end of our trip, so, We can have dessert for last~ Ill have to steel myself, but those scrumptious treats will be worth the wait!" Flayn would say, smiling happily and folding her map away, "So, lets go~!" Flayn said, leading the charge through the double doors, which slid open automatically, Making flayn gasp in surprise...Before stepping through.

"Magic doors..." Flayn would say, unaware of automatic doors it seemed, as Flayn would instead continue onward, until they reached the center of the mall, past the few closed venues and the odd Great Value store that Flayn simply walked past on the way to the food court, as Flayn smelled the air...There was a scent. Flayn smelled something delicious...Something GREAT...

"..Fish!" Flayn would say, as her eyes spied a new location in the food court!

Standing outside of the stand, a man in costume was there holding a sign saying 'I 'Guu'-tta Have that Fish!' . The man?

What a weirdo. Regardless, Flayn looked to the others, eyes wide and sparkly.

Amelia smiled to Flayn. It was time to relax, at least for now, anything can happen at the mall. "It's nice to meet you too Flayn. Me and the other two escorts who have yet to arrive will make sure that you will have a great time at this mall for your brother's sake." Amelia reassured Flayn that the mission will go smoothly before the other two escorts, Minako and Amithree arrived to help out as well.

With the former apologising to her lateness. So while Amithree was busy getting to know Flayn, Amelia took the time to reassure Minako that it wasn't her fault for being late. "Oh, you're not late. You arrived just in time." She then turned towards Flayn who explained the places that she wanted to go too to the group, starting with the food court so they can look for fish, or anywhere with fish in general.

"You like fish huh?" Amelia then smiled again.

"I'm sure the food court will have some fish, and don't worry Flayn, we'll make sure you get to everywhere you need before the mall closes." However one of the places that Flayn mentioned, White Magic R Us, caught her interests.

"There's a magic store? I've been wanting to practice magic since my old mentor encouraged me to seek out more magic to get stronger." Amelia peaked up.

"I wonder if they have sections for stuff like dark magic, well something less forbidden." Amelia wondered. Although she hoped that Flayn wouldn't be too upset since she had light magic, but she followed her into the mall where she watched her be amazed at the double doors opening.

"Oh those? They're powered by electricity, not by magic." Amelia popped Flayn's bubble before watching her go over to a fish place. Well they already almost crossed off one thing in Flayn's list already, they just need to get some fish for Flayn to eat.

As Amelia approached Long John Carbys, she briefly stopped and looked down at the legs of the boy's costume.

"Oh, don't worry about it. I am more than happy to..." Protect "... Accompany you. A shopping trip is better with friends afterall..." she finished, ignoring the voice in her head... She should probably get that checked... "Oh, it's nice to meet you, Minako, don't worry, it hasn't been long at all," she greeted before looking to Flayn. "Faith is support and healing magic huh? Yeah, I think that sounds like what I heard about White Magic..." she noted, she could tell there was that kind of magic to Flayn... maybe more but she decided to decline on going further into that...

"Right, I am up for anything, let's go!" she said, well this didn't sound like too dangerous a route. Probably the most dangerous sounding area was the White Magic but really who would cause chaos over healing spells?... Well, there could be a lot of reasons actually come to think of it but maybe she should not be in a rush to be paranoid... Wait, that costume looked like Carbuncle... And that green hair and face... there was no doubt about it...

"Oh come on..." she sighed, starting to think... before concluding she did not really have any better options since ignoring him would not work if she actually noticed her. "Deciding to pick up work as a mascot, Satan? Not part of some scheme is this?" Amithree asked rather plainly... She has not met this interpretation herself but he was probably aware of the other her so this should be easy.

"Whew! That's a relief to hear!" Minako replied to the reassurances of the two girls. From then, she quietly listened to Flayn's plan for her mall visit. First, they'd go eat somewhere. A place with fish, to be slightly more specific. Afterwards, either 'White Magic R Us' or Cool Topics. She must be one of those wizards, then. A feeling crept up in that the green-haired girl had a misunderstanding on what a Cool Topics was, but hey, she didn't know the store or the mall, maybe Flayn could be on the spot in the end. Finally, a stop at Grandpa's Candy Factory to seal the whole travel on a both figuratively and literally sweet tone.

"Sounds like a plan! Now then, onwards!" Minako cheered after the briefing, following Flayn closely as they entered the mall. Taking note of the girl's surprise at the automatic door, she giggled. "Still, magic or not, you gotta admit it's pretty cool, huh?" she questioned Amelia rhetorically before turning her attention to their objective: a place with fish for lunch.

And the answer came in the form of...a man dressed as a mascot of sorts, advertising a place known as Long John Carby's. Minako suppressed an awkward giggle at the catchphrase. Flayn already seemed to choose her place of choice, so...Long John Carby's it was, then! Amithree's comment caught her a bit off guard though. '...Who names their kid Satan?' she thought to herself before shaking her head and stepping toward the man in the mascot suit. "Excuse me! We would like to try your fish!" Minako voiced once close enough to the green-haired man.

Satan would be caught aback by Amithree's accusation, making him laugh softly as he quickly moved to jump topic, promptly electing to ignore her with a simple excuse. "S-satan? Yoh-hohoho, Im not Satan, I am Long-John Carby, the fishiest fisher-rabbit across the sea~!" 'Long-john Carby' would say, Before quickly directing Minako and Amelia to the front counter.  "If it be Fish ye' be wantin', Then come to the nice Draco Centauros at the counter, Arr har har!" The Green-haired Mascot said, as Flayn would brightly smile. "Ah, i see! Thank you, O Captain my Captain~!" Flayn said, clearly going along with Satan's whole mascot schtick, Instead coming up to the counter, where...



"UuuuUUuuUUuUuhh...WelCoMe tO LoNg John caRbY's, MaY i Take youR ordEr, oR intEresT YoU in oUr CinnaMoBonBoN PiE ShaKE, Or ouR MeGALoDoN BusTeR SandWiCh??" her voice said, cracking, squeaking and breaking like she were some teenager in puberty.

The Draco Centauros was wearing a rather shoddy 'Long Jogn Carby's' Uniform, with a nametag that simply said " Draco Centauros #12", and she was covered in wounds that were, to a trained eye, due to fry oil burns or tripping all about the place. Flayn, however, Took note of this and gasped. "Your hurt!" She would say, as #12 would tap on her computer. "A 'YoUr HurT MeAL--"

"No no, your body, its wounded! Here, let me just..." Flayn would say, opening her hand, to which a magical sygil appeared before her, suddenly curing the many wounds on the Draco's body.  "...aHH JeeEz, ThaNk YoU." The Draco would say, as Flayn smiled happily, before looking at the menu above her...

...It was a typical fast food menu. Five computer screens, each showing different sections of Fish sandwiches, Chicken meals, Drinks and Desserts. However, for Flayn, by her expression, it was clearly a terrifying looking screen, to which the young fish-lover would simply say..

"... Isuppose i want a Number One Carby Fish Sandwich Chicken Legend Pepsi salad Sundae!" She would declare, to which Draco #12 looked at her computer screen with wide eyes.

"...SiR, How dO i PuT ThaT InTo tHe CompUtEr??" She would squeak at Long John Carby, to which, Satan would simply ignore the Draco, as the Dragoness would simply...Guess, typing random keyes from words she heard from Flayn. "U-uhh, A-AnD For yoU guYS??"

"I know right?" Amelia agreed with Minako. She wanted to put her hand near the doors, but pulled them away when she saw them close and joined the others at the Carby. It turned out that the mascot guy's name is Satan, making Amelia weary.

"Satan? As in prince of darkness Satan?" Amelia asked the mascot guy, although she calmed down since he was in... A ridiculous weird banana costume with no legs, which was odd for someone called Satan to be in that kind of suit.

I guess times were tough in terms of economy in the Life Sphere. Wait does the Life Sphere even have a economy?

They were joined by a girl in a bad pirate accent who asked the group what they wanted to eat, but not before Flayn healed the wounds that the girl had. "That's amazing Flayn. Did you learn that back in your world?" Amelia asked Flayn about her magical abilities before she went to get her order.

After Flayn had finished giving her order it was now Amelia, Amithree and Minako's turn to give out their orders, with Amelia interested in the Megalodon sandwich. "In terms of Megalodon, do you mean it's a giant sandwich?" Amelia asked.

"Because if so, then I would happily order that." She quickly decided.

"Hm..." Amithree looked closer for a few moments before stepping back. Well, it's fine as long as he doesn't try anything. Flayn was already set on this place afterall... And there's a Draco here too-with a voice crack problem... Satan clearly wasn't doing a very good job as an advisor by the burns... Not that she expected better. She was about ready to use her Time Magic to rewind and alleviate the burn from the pains when she noticed Flayn's insistence too.

That was when her magic eyes noticed the magic and... "A sigil? That's new..." She never saw magic shaped like that, but now that she thinks about it, the same flow of energy is always on her, just more subtle when not in use. There's more to this girl than she originally thought and was told...

"Oh right, the food," she said aloud, suddenly snapping back to the present line of thinking. She looked up at the display for a moment..."I'll have the same thing as her," she motioned to Flayn, deciding it didn't really matter much since in her current time she doubt she'd be up for anything. Truth be told food was kind of a rarity for her even back home for a while, a price of avoiding almost everything. Thankfully she could live off any source of mana and not just eating so it was not detrimental, real food would be nice for a change though.

"All right, thanks!" Minako responded before moving towards the cashier with Flayn. They were greeted by a dragon girl that had a...very serious voice crack problem. Poor thing, she must've been feeling so awkward. The wounds were a cause of concern, but she couldn't help her. She'd need to summon Jack Frost, and that...well, required the Evoker. She refrained from jumping in, especially after Flayn healed the other with some magic. "Top notch, Flayn-san!" she cheered the other on, giving a thumbs up before taking a look at the food menu.

Well, this was the first time she'd eat otherworldly food. Should she go for something extravagant? Or perhaps a simpler meal? She on-looked the menu before coming across an option that sound appealing. Something in-between those two things.

"I'll take the Hamaon Combo! I'll have my fries with cheese and bacon, and I'd appreciate if my sandwich came without pickles!" Minako said, pointing to the screen displaying the combo. "Oh, by the way, if you're having trouble with the computer, maybe try writing it on a piece of paper!" she suggested to the voice-cracking Draco, though she half-expected the advice to go nowhere fast. She would just have to hope everything would go well.

Flayn would ask, as the Tween Draco would gulp, adding Two Megaladon sandwiches, along with two Number One Carby Fish Sandwich Chicken Legend Peep-see Salad Sundae's, one for Flayn and one for Amithree, Along with a Hamaon Combo, No Pickles, Cheesy Bacon fries added. "UhHhHh...I shoULD sAy thAt we oNLY havE fIsH BacOn..." She would softly warn, before tapping the agree, pulling up...

"ThAT'll bE FouRtY fIVe CoinS. AnD you gEt a frEE trIp tO CarBy's PlaY PAlAce."

"Play palace?" Flayn asked, as the draco pointed behind Flayn, revealing...



"Oh...My...Goodness! It really is a palace!" She would say excitedly, before quickly handing the Draco fourty five coins, running off to the play palace immediately, as the Draco gulped. "YoUr orDeR wIll be ouT in a MoMenT..."



Flayn quickly came to the enterance to the Play Palace, Looking upon the Rules list, mentioning it aloud...

"Do not Run, Do not Scream, Do not wear shoes, do not wear socks, do not cast obnoxiously strong magic, do not cast obnoxiously weak magic, do not punch, do not kick, do not shoot energy balls, do not watch TV, Do not Cry...Have fun?" Flayn would ask aloud, before nodding. "Sounds reasonable. Its a place for play, anyways!" She would say, Taking off her boots and Socks, storing them neatly in a foot locked close by, And turning to a Green slide that went down into the Floor...Seems the Play palace was deeper underground than it seemed. 

"I will be inside here, Ill be out by time for Lunch~!" Flayn would say to Amitwo, Minako and Amelia, before she vanished down the green slide...

However...Then came a sudden sound from inside the plastic tubes. The sound of a loud child's scream inside! What could that have been?!

Amelia watched as the rest of the team gave off their orders. She remained silent, although she felt a little cringe when the woman listing their orders had sound weird, but said nothing of it as she told them about the play palace once she got the orders listed down for them. She followed Flayn towards the play palace, and noticed how large it was.

Amelia was amazed since she never saw something like this before, although it looks like someone could easily get lost in there and there was a lot of rules to follow.

"This looks like a place where you can easily break your back. Be safe Flayn, if something goes wrong then we'll quickly go in to rescue you." Amelia wished Flayn well as she watched her go into the palace, right after she took off her shoes and socks.

However a few seconds later a child's scream was heard, causing Amelia to prepare for action. "That must be Flayn. We should check it out just in case team." Amelia said to Amithree and Minako.

"But if anyone asks, me and Minako thought we heard something from inside the palace and went to see if everyone was alright." It was slightly true. They were mainly checking on Flayn, which Amelia was going to do with Minako and Amithree.

She soon entered the palace with her shoes and socks still on and kicked the punched any palace obstacles in the way, although she made sure not to punch or kick anything that moved, like children.

"Flayn, where are you. Are you okay?" Amelia called out as she began her search for Flayn in the palace that was hard to normally walk in, so she leaned down and crawled instead to move faster.

"This palace feels cramped." She said to her teammates.

Amithree could feel part of her get hungrier as Minako ordered and... Flayn ordered what she was having too. Why was she feeling so much more hungrier than usual? It was concerning considering she was fairly sure she did not need as much food as your normal person. "Play Palace?" she looked back there as well and... wow, she never seen a place quite like that!... As short as she was, she probably was too old too she'd imagine before following over.

"... Do not catch obnoxiously weak spells? I can get not casting strong magic but it just says not to cast that and weak ones..." she noted in confusion. Was a very odd rule for a kid's place. "And TV is the screen that plays... movies and shows, right? Why is that problematic?" she also addressed that in confusion. Her height was not that different from Flayn's come to think of it. If she fits in there she probably could too.

Just then there was a girl's scream. "Flayn?! Is something wrong?!" she called before looking to Amelia. "H-hey, are you sure we should all go in?" she asked before looking to the slide... "... For once I'm glad I'm immortal..." She muttered this to herself, making sure to take off her equipment unlike Amelia... Well, she didn't want to provoke whatever did that by breaking the rules or something. Either way she went in afterwards to check on what happened. She'd probably pass off as much a kid as Flayn despite being 17.
