Yo! So you're thinking of making a group, huh? Groups are an IC organization that bestow benefits upon their members as a reflection of their IC specialization and power as a group. Before you can sign up for a group OOCly at the Group Outline and Certification Department by filling out the form there, you must meet the following requirements: 

• You must have already gathered at least 2 other players who have characters that have ICly agreed to join your group.

That's it! However, there are a couple of restrictions upon groups.

• In order for a group to bestow mechanical benefits upon its members, the leader of that group must have reached the rank of Smash Brother or higher by completing 5 missions. (Note: The rank 5 reward of a uniform has no mechanical benefit.)
• Group perks are supposed to be situational or convenience related. We're unlikely to approve group perks that give general, reliable benefits in combat.
  
  
• Groups have 3 OOC ranks. Member, Officer, and Leader. Officers get the same mechanical benefits as the leader, but you can only have 1 Officer in a group for every 3 Members. This limit on Officers only comes into effect once you want more than 2 officers.
  
  
• Groups cannot represent government positions. This includes any group whose purpose is something vital to the Life Sphere, such as gathering resources or general combat. Government groups are staff-moderated and you can read up on them in the Life Sphere Government Thread.
  
  
• You can only receive the mechanical benefits of 1 group and 1 government position at the same time. Anything else must be considered a 'part time' affiliation and bestows no mechanical benefits.

GROUP RANKING SYSTEM
By completing missions that align with the group's stated focus, a group can level up and bestow additional benefits to its members. We recommend that the group keep track of its missions along with any rewards earned in its own smash journal, where members can post completed missions as replies to be added. Do note: Missions MUST align with the stated focus of the group. It is not enough to simply have group members together on a mission.

8	Professional	You get to design a group companion that can be used by any of its members.
14	Smashing	The mission capacity of all members is increased by 1.
23	Prodigious	You get to design another group companion that can be used by any of its members.
35	Career	Choose or design a rare item. Members of the group may buy this item at any time for half its staff-estimated value. Items valued too high to be bought will be rejected. (Ex: Mirage Ticket, Smash Medal)
50	Super Smashing	You gain the rank 14, 23, and 35 rewards again.

The Magical Girl’s Society

Joining Requirements:

Aspiring members must be invited by a current member and then brought to the lodge to be interviewed by Peach for approval. Usually, these 'interviews' are more along the lines of a casual conversation in which Peach gets to know the newcomer to make sure they're a fit for the group. Below are the three requirements for becoming a full on member.

Girls Only Policy
The most strict of the three membership requirements, every member must be able to identify themselves as a girl before any further consideration can be given.

Good Alignment Policy
In Peach's words, it's just as important for members to hold love in their heart as it is for their heart to be in the right place. Members are expected to practice good-naturednes, if not with everyone then at least with their fellow sisters. Evil tendencies and cruelty towards others is considered grounds for refusal, as is a general apathy or indifference towards the sisterhood itself.

Love Policy
As a magical girl it is expected that, in Peach's words, you hold love close to your heart. It will often be asked that new applicants demonstrate this by tapping into the power of love and demonstrating it's magic for Peach. However, in practice, this is the least strict of the three requirements and Peach is often willing to teach applicants how to utilize the power of love so long as their personality demonstrates potential.
