The Dead of Night, The Gates of the Underworld , Blocked off by a haunting graveyard that had been pulled from the great ether as the world of Ghosts and Ghouls had arrived on Li, as Demonically infected plant life grew among many a desolate tree and ladder, graves littering the entrance to the Underworld. "Hmm...I cant say for sure. This place couldnt be the underworld that our realm has, But it should be similar, seeing as our mythology's seem to match up! Dont worry Athena, Ill be granting you my magical gifts all throughout this quest~"

"Oh, speaking of which, can i have my Zodiac Familiars just be here and stay here? I think all of them would be a huge help!"

"A Courier? What could a simple messenger have...And someone named Belmont?  Hm...Strange folk indeed. However, If they wish to banish demons, Then they'll be great friends of mine~!"

The sounds of feet could be heard as a man with blonde hair ran full pelt into the area, the moment he caught sight of the rondesvous point, he slowed his run to a brisk walk, stopping only when he reached the one responsible for the mission involving the smiting of evil.

"Well, this brings back memories of my one-man-raid of Bernhard castle, only this time I'm doing it with some Allies it seems." Leon Belmont said as he looked at Athena, and promptly gave a nod. Now they needed the courier and the team would be all set for the smiting of evil creatures.

The heavy clatter of Mojave boots draws ever nearer to the site. The dark still shields the creatures ahead, but two glinting lenses, red in hue, reveal themselves. For a moment, it may almost look like the group here is in for a fight. As though this figure in the dark was some sort of monster, approaching from the rear. Thankfully, before any real decisions or assumptions could be made, the figure is finally cleared up. It's the Courier, and his business here was clear. Those guns were loaded, and he seemed prepared for the most part.

The Courier, that lone ranger with that big iron on his hip, keeps his weapons holstered for now. His coat flutters in the breeze, the speckling of dust from the wastes still clinging to him like some sort of ranger. He'd been from Reno to Vegas, and nearly all across the Nevada area as a result. He'd heard tales from out North, how folks found elderitch idols, or East where the mannequins were allegedly possessed. He, himself, had heard graves whisper at him, and witnessed a vault allegedly haunted. Regardless, these beasts couldn't actually be demons in his eyes. Folks called Deathclaws demons, and they were some of the worst.

Six makes his way over towards the group, and finally speaks at once with them. His tone is what you'd expect for a cowboy, not a post-apocalypse wanderer...

"Hi there, I'm Six. I signed on for this here mission. Let's put these things into the dirt and git. I don't like this atmosphere."

An old Vulture would yell out, suddenly flying off the skull of a desecrated skeleton nearby, flying off to the night beyond, as Athena turned to see her comrade's, Smiling happily to them. "Leon Belmont, and...The Courier! Alright, Were all set!" Athena would say, holding her Sword in her right hand, and her Lions Buckler in her left, Looking toward the gate. "Its a little surprising we managed to get this far. I kind of expected the...You know, Gates of Hell to be a little more jam-packed with, I dunno...Monsters?" Athena would comment, as she began to walk slowly, Decaying grass crunching under her sandals, and by extension the rest of there boots...Until soon, the Gates of hell flew open, A Dark wind flying by, as soon, Two hulking monsters appeared!

"Guhn!!" One of the Two Unicorns would say, Cracking there fists with a loud, Popping noise, as soon, A final enemy would jump out, crashing to the ground with a rumbling stomp!

"GRUHUHUH!!!" The Shielder let out a cackling yell, aiming its Shielded face at the Group, as the Three defenders of the Underworld were ready to fight!

Six shrugged, usually these sorts of things happened. Deathclaws and the like got to the guards in some places, so it was rather easy to step right on into the front. The usual signs of half-eaten corpses, and general gross things seemed to be out of the way for now. That was, until the Unicorns and whatnot came. Six laughed a little. They looked so goofy! Nothing like raiders or actual beasts that he'd come across. A few bits of hot lead would set them straight. Keeping to the back of the group, Six drew his .44 magnum, and fired off the first of many bullets to be launched this mission. He pulled it right from the hip in a flash movement, almost a blur as the bullet soared through the air, barely whizzing past the two old-looking warriors.

Six was clearly getting invested in this fight, and with that quickdraw out of the way, he leveled his revolver for another shot. He aims true, takes a breath, in, and out, and as he breathes out... Six squeezes the trigger, and readies himself for the second kick of the weapon. The satisfying crack of the weapon kicks heat back to his glove, and lets the weapon dolphin up in a rocking movement. The strike of the weapon against his bones felt satisfying... That rush of a gunfight is what he lived for, but this would do just fine.

Six hadn't forgotten about the other, and turns on a heel, firing another shot. Three count, Six was keeping mental tabs on how many bullets he was letting out, and how many till he needed to reload. In his head, he was keeping a mental tally. He's still got more than enough for the rest of this mission.

It was pretty telling just how pathetic the gate keepers to this 'Hell' really was, as The Unicorn fighting the Courier of the New Californian Wasteland popped off his first shot, the old bumpy armor the massive orc wore ripping apart, as it seemed the bullet did well to break through the cloth, A great thick spit of Brown, goopy blood flew out of his chest like a hand almost reaching out in some strange attempt to re-paint couriers jacket a brand new shade of brown, but only making about half of the distance between the demon and the Courier, Egging the Unicorn to let out a pained "UnnggAAHHHnnnnNN!!" In some clear indication that Six had hit his target. Sadly, God did not descend to deliver him a prize from the top shelf of the demonic shooting gallery, but instead Six seemed to be rewarded by the huge, bulging muscles of the Unicorn, heading to pay his gas mask a visit with his fist, Probably looking to deliver this weeks issue of "Punch face weekly" to his mouth mailbox.

However, Six's second shot, as the first one did, Caused yet another violent gyser of brownish demon blood to repaint the grass like the worlds worst soccer field getting painted over by the sloppiest hand ever, Putting a pretty hefty bullet into the monsters belly, Making the Unicorn wince for a brief moment, before continuing the mailman's duty of delivering that punch to Six, Continuing his charge despite the growing blood stain through his stomach. The third shot finally got the Unicorn to stop, aiming just a bit higher than expected, Going through the beasts mouth, and...Well, it seemed the bullet got lost in transit, somewhere between Brain Stem Avenue and Top of Skull Blvd. Regardless, The Unicorn's body instincts raised a clenched fist to slam Six into the dirt not unlike a looney tunes skit, but thankfully, The Unicorn's brain being non-existent finally made the rest of its body realize "welp, the manager's done, im going home", And make the Unicorn fall heavily to the ground like a sack of moldy potatoes, thumping just close enough for Six to see the Unicorn's horn glide past him, not even scraping his armor.

(UNICORN 1 IS DOWN!)


For Leon, The Whip strike made the Shielder certainly stand back at attention, recognizing that all three of these combatants were wielding armaments of a holy deity of sorts, Including the most deathly, The god of GUN, Making the Shielder craft a formulated plan, holding its Faced-shield up to take a handful of flaming pumpkin, and avoiding the falcon claw entirely, as the giant shielded monster, so bravely, hid behind the smaller unicorn like a total coward, and raised its shield up, as the face upon the shield's cheeks blew up in preparation to vomit up something upon the group, only to bellow out a gigantic, roaring flame, now scorching the Unicorn Blood-stained earth!

(Shielder Fire! Everyone, Roll a 10 in Dex to Avoid, or face 12% Damage, and Guaranteed burn.)

Meanwhile, in defiance of his role as a meat shield, The Second Unicorn would gasp in shock, running to his fallen, Swiss-cheesed comrade, letting out a "Guh guhnngah?" In questioning, which must be the demonic vocabulary equivalent to "WHA HAPPAN???", Looking to Six in total anger, Suddenly charging up to the gun priest, and attempting to Football tackle him into a nearby dead tree, Not only severely damaging, but also winning team Hell a 10 Point bonus.

Athena, Quite quickly, Performed some incredibly strategic moves (running away), And escaped the huge roaring blaze heading her way, as she soon clasped her hands together, Seeming to concentrate quite a bit...

"Oh Titan Goddess, Lend me a power ill need to vanquish the foes before me...Armor UP!" Athena said aloud, as her body glew a bright white!

Now that girl there, puttin' her hands all close, and calling upon a goddess would normally look like another blood-drunk raider, but those results! Six was envious, a bit lovestruck even! Hell, he wouldn't mind that solid nine fighting alongside him for a while. Not to be distracted, Six leaps as far as he could away from that searing gout of flames, ready to draw if need be.

All one could hear as the fire breath seared passed the Arizona Ranger was the fluttering of a duster and the click back of a revolver back into its holster. The Arizona Ranger braced for impact as the other demon charged right in. Right on cue, the swift gunman clicked his Pip-Boy's dial, and engaged that Li-installed bubble shield! It took a decent hit, but it'd take a lot more than that to knock down Courier Six. Six let off a sneer, and remarking "Magic might be nice, but..." soon after under his breath, it was then that he readied that Ranger's revolver...

The second bullet, like the first, finds a home in the undead body, but Six was aiming closer to the throat. Juuust off, that bullet was soaring to the jaw. Muttering a soft "Damnit..." under his breath, the Courier opens the weapon's loading chamber, and drops a few extra rounds from his bandoleer into the weapon's interior, before clicking the weapon shut.

"Hey! Athena, was it?! Take that one there down! I put two holes in 'em. Give 'em a taste of that there magic stuff yer doin! Whip boy! Get this big fella down!"

Six was half-used to commanding other soldiers on the field, having made plenty use of his field radio and those years in the NCR. For now, he was plenty waiting while the others did their part, if they'd listen to him, that is. The ranger was in no real mood to be playing around with teammates that didn't want to listen.

"Useless!" Leon would say as he blocked the incoming flame attack with his Silver Gauntlet, giving the shielder a death glare that told the thing that he was not impressed.

Now that the attack was dealt with, Leon would keep up the pressure on the Shielder with another Whip Attack.

Then he would attempt it on the Unicorn, but not before a little Snarky insult.  "And I thought Unicorns were supposed to be horses, not bipedal demons."

And finally, he cracks his knuckles and delivers a hard punch to the Shielder's face, quite literally too since the Shielder's face is it's shield so Leon is literally punching a demon in the face!

It was with a Flourish of two Gun shots from the Courier that spelled the end for the Unicorn, As the shot aimed to the torso spurted out a brown blood gyser from the chest wound, And the second gun shot, which lodged itself deep into the Ogre's jaw, caused a rather uproaring noise from the demon, Making it scronk in pain. However, the order gifted by the Courier was heard loud and clear by Athena, as she nodded and said "Right!" In confirmation of Courier's orders, Running up to the monster and calling out her battle cry, as she set the Saw Blade aside, and produced her Golden Fire Sword instead!

"This fire of the goddess burns bright! Taaaake THIS!" She would say, before delivering a magnificent slash with her blade, Cutting a Diagonal slash across the monster!

The Wound creating a magnificently beautiful aura out of the wound, Sparkling a bright color as the Monster would suddenly ignite in a golden flame, Before it was reduced to naught but ash on the ground in a massive pile!

But the Shielder was not yet defeated, as the whip against its face shield made the shield recoil in pain, before bellowing out a Roar of anger, As the Brutal Baron's Fist made it stumble Back, as Athena took the opprotunity in hand, Running to the armored monster, First Throwing her Saw Blade at the Shield monsters Face! "Stand back, Leon!" She would beckon as she did!

Following This, Athena would take the opprotunity to perform some flash acrobatics, jumping off of the embedded Saw Blade, and once again drawing her Golden Fire Sword, would bring the Blade down! "Through the skiiiiiies.....!!"

Athena would say, as she slashed right through the Armor, a Familiar golden aura emerging from the Shielder, as the monster bellowed out a pained roar, screeching out to the heavens as it would revert to Ash once more, as Athena sheathed her blade, and took her Saw Blade in hand once again!

"Hehe, We did it~!" Athena would say, raising a fist happily, as she looked to the Gate to hell before her. "We still got alot to go~! Were already on a roll~!!"

"We will be able to make good time on getting back home once all this is said and done." Leon said as he stepped back to Let Athena land the finishing blow on the Shielder. To him, hunting demons and devils was similar to his hunting of heathens and heretics, so it was good all around for him to smite things that needed to be smote.

He simply shook his gauntlet covered hand as he had managed to smack the nose of the Shielder's face and break the bridge of it to literally make the demons nose bleed, goodness knows what demon blood can do to someone if they embibed in the stuff, and then cracked his knuckles in preparation for when the next fight began.

Six holsters his gun with a flashy twirl and a near slap into its leather holster. That thing was beaten-up, old, seen a lot of fighting. He was getting the hang of this. Damned mutants weren't a match for his sharp eye and quick reflex. He chuckled at the enthusiasm of Athena. The girl seemed to have that forgotten moxie a lot of people needed, and Leon was... well he was there. Nothing much to say about the fella. Observing the surrounding carnage again, or lack thereof, Six didn't see any bodies he could loot. Ah well, he'd just have to carry on, then.

"Damn fine fightin, Athena. You, too, Leon."

So Six points, hand still on his holster, to Athena. Lowering his free hand, he points it back out to the area within.

"Well, don't just stand there, missus leader, bring us deeper. I got an itch to scratch, that itch bein' monster-shootin'."

Well, that was, until she had stopped and looked back. One might of expected her to begin scolding the two, But instead what she said was--

A Great kick-up of Dust suddenly came about behind the two, as a large, Bird-like monster adorned with a spear blinked and watched the three in suspicion, seemingly more curious as to why there were three random nerds running face first into actual hell. Regardless, The Bird Spun its spear and began with a Wide Swing toward the whole group!

Courier, However, Was sadly slapped hard by the Spear, slammed into a tree, knocking him unconcious...
