Hau
Alola Region/Pokemon Moon
Alignment: Neutral Good
Motto: “Isn't it crazy how malasadas taste even better when you eat 'em together with someone else?”
Allies/Friends: Hala, Professor Kukui, Moon, Lillie
Enemies/Rivals: Gladion, Guzma, Moon
Backstory: The Story of a Kahuna's Grandson
Appearance:
History On Li: Hau didn’t take being beaten by Moon the wrong way, and decided that he and his team were gonna toughen up and become the Second Pokemon Champion of Alola. So they worked night and day, getting tougher, bonding closer together, eating sweet Malasadas not as Trainer and team, but as family. And so the day finally approached where Hau barged into Moon’s home to challenge her to a final climatic duel… and her mom said she had flown off, muttering something about Nebby. Oh. Well. That’s… important.
Hau made his way to the Altar of the Moon, and saw a massive lion-like Pokemon roar and cast Moon and Robin into an Ultra Wormhole. Hau, being the 11 year old kid he is, puffed up his chest and began to battle the strange new Pokemon with his team, but it was to no avail. The Pokemon opened up another Ultra Wormhole a few minutes afterwards, and Hau fell to what he thought was his demise. Instead, he ended up landing in some… village town with weird animal people? But they were nice and had food, so he didn’t mind sticking around.
Other Info: Hau loves Malasada more than his Pokemon do.
He, um, may or may not have a slight crush on Lillie, and a glowing admiration for Moon and her skill.
While his INT score might seem high for the simple-minded, relaxed Alolan, it's his natural instinct in battle that demonstrates his intelligence.
Rai-Rai
Arguably Hau’s best bud. Rai-Rai and Hau have been together since before Hau started his Island Challenge, and their bond is unbreakable. Rai-Rai is slightly Timid, but Hau brings out the best in the Alolan Raichu. Rai-Rai enjoys spending time with his partner, eating Malasadas on the coast by Iki Town. An Aloraichium Z-Crystal hangs from a loose necklace around Rai-Rai.

Primary Attacks (3)
Quick Attack: Moving upon his tail at lightning quick speeds, Rai-Rai hits the opponent several times, normally before they can even react! [DEX 6%]
Iron Tail: While most other Pokemon would simply swing their hardened tail with their own strength, Rai-Rai has a trick up his sleeve: Psychokinesis! Using his psychic powers to control the hardened tail, Rai-Rai can swat any foe away without lifting a finger! [WIS 16%]
Psyshock: Rai-Rai projects a wave of psychic energy that lands and actually physically hurts the opponent! Unlike Psychic, Psyshock doesn’t target the opponent’s mind, but assaults with a wave of energy that, if not resisted, causes intense fatigue and stress in the target. [WIS 15%, Targets CON]
Special Attacks (3)
Psychic: Rai-Rai focuses the psychic energy in his tail and then blasts the opponent with powerful waves of energy![WIS 26%, targets INT, 2 turn cooldown]
Thunderbolt: A bolt of electric power courses through Rai-Rai before bursting forth as a jagged beam of lightning! [WIS 18%]
Surf: Rai-Rai picked this up after Hau developed a (short lived) drive for Manatine Surfing! Controlling water and his tail with the power of the mind, Rai-Rai causes a wave of water to rise up, and surfing on it like a pro, smashes it down upon all nearby enemies… and friends too, so be careful! [WIS 32%, hits all combatants, 3 turn cooldown]
Final Smash: Stoked Surge Surfer (1)
The Z-Ring on Hau’s arm glows bright with a spark of electric-yellow energy, and the Aloraichium Z around Rai-Rai’s necklace reacts in a similar matter. Hau and Rai-Rai make similar poses before Rai-Rai begins to surge with the legendary Z-Power! Flying up into the air, crackling with electric power, Rai-Rai dive-surfs down and leaves a massive electric explosion, surfing the waves that follow. The explosion deals 45% to a single target and Paralyzes them.
Pri-Marie
The Starter Hau chose before Moon. This Primarina was Hau’s biggest challenge as a Trainer; she enjoys to win and push herself, while Hau used to simply just brush off loss if the battle was “fun.” It was losing to Team Skull and letting Lillie be kidnapped that Trainer and Pokemon began to align and become as one. Now, Primarina, who once disliked Hau’s lack of drive to win, now is being pushed by him to be the best, and she loves it! Pri-Marie is Rash and has a competitive drive in all things, but has grown to love even losing. Her Z-Crystal, a Primarinaium, is fashioned as a little “earpiece”; it’s a common design Hau found from Olivia during his training.

Primary Attacks (3)
Water Gun: Normally a beginner’s level Water-Type move, Pri-Marie has practiced enough to use the weak pressurized jet of water to not only wash away foes, but for more versatile usages as well. From saving water to blast multiple shots of Water Gun, to pushing out more for a stronger burst, Pri-Marie knows some performances need to be subtle. [WIS 6-12%]
Disarming Voice: A charming song echoes from the Water-Type Pokemon, punishing the opponent with conflicting emotions about their fight. [CHA 15%]
Icy Wind: Pri-Marie blows frigid wind towards the opponent. The cold air stiffens the joints and attempts to slow down the opponent. [WIS 9%, -1 enemy DEX mod on hit for 3 turns, 1 turn cooldown]
Special Attacks (3)
Sparkling Aria: The species’ specialty song, a powerful composition naturally design to either lift the spirit or drench the body. Pri-Marie sings and water begins to form, and she tosses it to her target; to allies, a powerful healing balm, and to foes, a strong explosive water orb.[CHA 10%, OR CHA 0%, heals 1d10+CHA, 2 turn cooldown]
Aqua Ring: Pri-Marie sings a cheerful tune and squirts water that begins to spin in orbit around her. The water soothes wounds and allows the Primarina to keep on fighting despite the hits she may take. [CHA 0%, heals 1d5+CHA per round for 3 rounds, 4 turn cooldown]
Hydro Cannon:A secret technique taught only to the Pokemon given to young Trainers by the Kahuna, Pri-Marie summons a massive amount of water and fires it in an extremely high-pressurized stream of water at the opponent. It is a brutal attack, not only in offense but also its effect on Pri-Marie; the Water Type cannot fight back with any sort of effort for almost a few minutes afterwards. [WIS 32%, uses all actions turn used and following turn, 3 turn cooldown]
Final Smash: Oceanic Operetta (1)
Hau’s Z-Ring begins to glow, and the Primarium Z in Pri-Marie’s earpiece glows with a watery glow. Hau’s poses finish with the tropical hula, and Pri-Marie begins to fill with powerful Z-Energy. Beginning to sing the Sparkling Aria, Pri-Marie begins to change her melody and her watery orb continues to grow and grow. Reaching an incredible size in both crescendo and orb, Pri-Marie reaches the loud high C, and the Orb falls, exploding into a beautiful sparkling of light refraction. Pri-Marie bows as her enemies take 20% damage, and her allies heal for 20% percent.
Taur-Hala
A Tauros that Hala tamed back on Melemele Island, which Hau later caught. He acts as Hau’s Ride Pokemon and helps the young Trainer break through tough rocks. Taur-Hala (named after Hau’s gramps) is Bold and a bit of a proud Tauros, who likes to show off his strength, much to the embarrassment of his trainer. The Normalium Z-Crystal is part of the Ride Saddle; Hala especially commissioned it for his grandson.

Primary Attacks (3)
Horn Attack:Taur-Hala can use his horns for a variety of jabs, including simple head tosses, to intense running stabs. Builds 1 layer of tension if damage output is 15%. [STR 6-15%, raises tension by 1 when used as a Medium Attack]
Body Slam: Taur-Hala charges at the enemy, before suddenly turning and slamming his body into them. Builds 1 Tension level whether or not it connects. [STR 15%, Raises tension by 1 when used]
Take Down: Another ramming attack, the Tauros however lowers it’s guard a bit more for a more violent dash, ramming the opponent at speeds that hurt it in return, especially when tense. While this move builds 2 levels of tension, it can also be used to release tension, lowering the amount of damage [STR 20%, Does additional 5% recoil + 1% for every level of tension built up. If releasing tension, 5% recoil -1% for every level released, 1 turn cooldown]
Special Attacks (3)
Sheer Force/Anger Point: Taur-Hala, over the course of a battle, builds up tension and stress from the combat and begins to get hurt more when hit. However, Hau and Taur-Hala figured out a way for the Tauros to relieve stress through attacks, making them stronger, hit harder and faster, and allow Taur-Hala to relax a bit. [Support ability, 5 levels of tension, release tension during an attack to add 3% to damage (max 15%), or +1 to hit (max +1), Take 2% more damage from attacks per level of tension held (max 10% extra), Cannot release tension on moves that normally build it unless expressed otherwise.]
Work Up: Hau begins to get Taur-Hala mad and pumped for the fight by telling him all the awesome things the Tauros can do. Buffs STR mod by 2 for 2 rounds. Increases tension by 2. [0%, STR mod +2 for 2 rounds, Tension Level+2, 2 turn cooldown]
Double Edge:Short of Z-Moves and the duo of Hyper Beam/Giga Impact, this is the riskiest and most powerful Normal-Type move known to Pokemon. Tauros charges forward without regard to his own well-being, focusing purely on making the enemy hurt. It’s a tense move, and Taur-Hala is hurt pretty badly from it, but the damage it can reach is astronomical. [STR 32%, Recoils 16%. Raises tension by 3. 2 turn cooldown]
Final Smash: Breakneck Blitz (1)
Hau begins to pose as the Z-Ring glows, and Taur-Hala’s Normalium Z glows with a near-consuming white light. Basing the power from Double Edge, Taur-Hala begins to dash forward. His dash becomes as swift as a bullet and hits 10 times as hard, Propelling through the opponent and crushing them with extreme force, Taur-Hala reaches the maximum amount of tension and deals 45% damage.
