Rumbles of a tower collapsing in on itself echoed throughout the area, the shrieks of an avian creature looming in the distance. The devastation became more pronounced now that a creature of significant power inhabited the area. Granted, this was no more ominous than the R.O.B. titan who stood guard with a silent grace. As long as nobody bothered the mechanism, anyone who came here should be fine. Even the Infected Monoeyes floating through a gap in the rubble. Panting, as it were, the creature kept itself at a calm as to not attract much attention. Perhaps something else was amidst that caused the poor thing to glance about its immediate area. No, there was nothing else of note which can instill fear in an Infected monster.

It turned around to face the rubble filled gap from which it came. That thing should be dealing with the others still, right?

.... RIGHT?

Too bad there was no time to fill out a will. In a flash, the Monoeyes' eye widened as the bottoms of two, massive feet rammed themselves into the creature, a blazing aura of magic surrounding the giant limbs. A tear drop oozed from the single eyed creature's, well, eye, a high pitched squeal resonating as the poor thing launched far, far into the Devastated Port Town. Anyone in in the vicinity was not going to have a difficult time noticing the smaller monster blasting off into the ruins.

A growl came from the instigator's throat, who rolled onto his back, raised his legs behind him, and kipped up to a standing position, "Phew! Heh heh heh, thought ya could get away from me, didn't ya?" That wide, tooth filled grin rose to greater heights, a sort of sadistic pleasure within the apparent lion man's eyes. Of course, to Benny this was all just a workout as he waited for the supposed pair who agreed to help with the mission. Clearing out some of the monsters beforehand did seem to be the wiser move in order to make the trek towards this Phoenix thing easier. Much as the feline wanted to start going after it, there were certain orders regarding not going alone which continued to be a nuisance.

"They almost here yet? Gettin' bored, yeesh," he said, rolling his shoulders back and sniffing the air. Huh, the intelligence was right concerning the nature of this mission's target. Cinders wafted into his nostrils, a quick sneeze indicating he was on the right track.

High in the sunset skies above Port Town, a brilliant bright light broke through the orange clouds. Through this parting, gliding on glowing wings, a messenger of the very gods themselves descended to the planet. He was youthful, childlike even, clad in a spotless white tunic, ornate golden wristbands, sandals and a laurel crown. A uniform truly befitting the Captain of the Guard. In his hands he wielded a sacred bow, upon which he was…playing air guitar?
	♪ “He steps right out on the dangerous track Stunning skyscrapers lining the perilous path Endless horizon above the seas and deserts Silent, impressive, going as fast as a valiant horse”♪  Pit headbanged, excited for his destination. “You seem excited for your destination~.”  The voice of Lady Palutena, Goddess of Light telepathically graced his ears. “Sure am! I can’t wait to watch the newest F-Zero Grand Prix!”  Pit cheered with hype.
	“…Pit, that’s not what we’re here to do.”  Palutena corrected him.  “Besides, there has not even Been an F-Zero Grand Prix in a decade and a half.” “Oh… Aw man.”  Pit sighed in disappointment, his prior demeanour run down flat. “No, we’re here because there’s been a calamity necessitating divine intervention.”  Palutena solemnly explained.  “The Immortal Phoenix has been spotted on a rampage near here.” “Oh…Aw Man!”  Pit whined with dread. “Does that mean I have to fight him again?” “I’m afraid so, Pit. What’s worse is this might not even be the original Phoenix, but a clone.” “You mean like one made by Dyntos?” “Lord Dyntos would not have had a hand in this. It might be a clone made from the Starvia.” “Oh right…That’s still a thing…”  It was most definitely a thing, as Pit heard the Phoenix roaring in the distance.  “I’m not scared at all…”  Pit repeated to himself.
	“Attention fliers, we have arrived at our final destination, Port Town~.”  Palutena announced with a stewardess flair.  “Home of the legendary pilot, Captain Falcon, himself!”  Pit remembered, instilling himself with some vigor.  “Hi R.O.B.!” Pit waved as he flew past the giant R.O.B. titan. “Bye R.O.B.!” “Please gather up all belongings including your wits and courage before disembarking  and be advised that despite this being our final destination, all hazards are on~.”  Palutena advised as Pit’s sandals landed on an observation deck overlooking the race track. “Man… the future looks bleaker than I remember.”  Pit shook his head at the view of collapsed sky scrapers.
	“Oh Pit! Look down there, it’s your contact for this mission.”  Palutena alerted Pit of the lion standing a few ways below. “Oh my gosh!”  Pit gasped upon seeing him, not hesitating to dive off the platform  and slow his descent down with rapid flaps of his wings.  They were good for something after all. “I can’t believe I finally get to meet you!”  He dashed up to the lion, a single bound short of glomping and hugging him.  “At long last! Sam the Lion’s finally gonna teach me how to read!”

"Bleeeeh," he said as he slumped over. Monsters and other assortments of danger surrounded the area, with potential traps, heights, and perhaps even something to lift and throw. So much excitement, but so far out of reach as the undying pain of waiting rushed about the man's presence. In truth such a game drained the lion of energy more so than test patience. Back home was much more simple, as finding a job to hunt a monster or take down a bandit meant heading out right away to deal with it. Even the ones which required travel meant a nice, long nap was at hand as the old boathouse sailed down a river. What he will do for a nap right now. At home it was just sitting there, that nice, warm blanket, with a pillow he can hug in case his dreams veered off into another direction.

Just like the feeling latched onto his side as his wide arms reached upwards for a stretch, "Whaaa?"

Something white, and feather filled, had invaded the man's peripheral vision, Benny having to adjust his body in order to gain a better look. There were a few things which made having a musclebound physique more difficult to put up with. Yet, he was used to it at this point. A brow raised upon the lion's face, reaching down and plucking the angelic being off and bringing the joy filled kid up near the man's direct vision. Lightweight, but there were not many things the old gladiator was unable to lift with ease. "You lost kid? Cause I'm not Sam the, uh, Lion. Guy. Person. But I do know a Sam back home, but he ain't here," Benny responds, scratching his head. Chuckling, his wide grin resumed once more, "OH! Name's Benny! I'm just waitin' for someone who filled a request to help me take down a phoenix thingy. Also, I can't read very well."

He set the angel down onto the kid's feet, giving the smaller guy a pat on the head. Something about this one just exhumed joy and happiness all around. Almost like Benny was during his cub years. Further observation of this stranger lead to a rather intricate discovery. The clothes the apparent angel wore resembled that of the man's home country, yet another chuckle escaping his throat. Benny's hands rest themselves on his hips, feeling up for small talk, "So, what'cha doin' out this way, kiddo? Kinda weird that you're out here alone, well, aside from me standin' here. Ya got a mission of your own?"

	“You’re Way more muscular than you look on the box art!”  Pit commented, giving his his wide arms a feel. “Um…Actually, Pit…” A big innocent smile remained undeterred on Pit’s face when Benny plucked him up.  It did however flee in embarrassment when the lion revealed he wasn’t Sam. “…Yeah.”
“...Oh. S-sorry about that.”  Pit looked down sheepishly.  He looked back up at the lion’s grin when he introduced himself.  “Actually, Benny I’m the guy you’re waiting on~!” Pit’s smile made it’s triumphant return. “Sorry to keep you waiting.” #Catchphrase.
“I’m not alone after all…”  Pit whispered to himself, eyes once again aglow to find a kindred spirit. Straightening his laurel crown after Benny pet him,  Pit was in too good a mood to be offended by him calling him a kid. “I am Pit, servant of the Goddess Palutena!”  Pit struck a mighty pose with his bow that seemed all too rehearsed.  “And I am here to help…gulp…defeat the Phoenix.”

Brows perked, the man's everlasting grin showing off its special ability of expanded far beyond what joy should be capable of, "Wait, you're the guy! Didn't think you'd show up as soon as ya did and was about to go fight the bird ting myself. Regardless, I'm real damn glad you're excited to be with me, heh heh heh!" Typical, but the lion had no issue enjoying this angel guy's presence. Or at least some form of a human and beastkin hybrid. Those were far beyond common back home, and in retrospect, Benedikt was not certain as to whether he had seen a hybrid to begin with. However, the big man himself was there to guard this boy if necessary.

Math, he knew, was not his strong suit, as were most education based ideas. While he did know enough to get by, that was it. Simple, easy to comprehend mathematics. For a moment Benny veered his attention from Pit, raising a hand to his as though counting with fingers, "One, and uuh... two... hmm." Either this was a brain malfunction, or something was off about the current set up. From what the beastkin had gathered, there was supposed to be a three man party behind this operation of bird squashing. Confusion molded its way over his fact, the lion taking looking between the angel and open area. "Question for ya, Pit," Benny said, reaching a hand to his neck to give it a good roll, "Don't suppose ya know the other guy who's supposed to be with us? Heard there was a second who took the request, but maybe I'm being a dummy."

"Nice pose by the way. Kinda reminds me of when I was younger... and dumber. I mean, I'm still dumb but that ain't the point. Curious about this Pull-u-tina lady you're talkin' about. Haven't heard the name of a goddess like that, but I can guess a few stuff from the whole 'Light' part," the lion said, a chuckle escaping his throat. Conversation was a good way to ease his boredom, even more so due the requirement of waiting for the third member. Unless said third member was one of those ninjas from a far off land. Might be a fun time if that was the case.

	“Wait really? You were going to fight the Phoenix by Yourself?” Pit did a double take at the bravery of this fellow, Ever so subtly starting a stride in the opposite direction. “Well in that case I-” “Pit.” “-Am coming with you.” Pit turned a sheepish 360 degrees in his step. What did Pit have to be afraid of? He took the Phoenix single-handedly before, singed feathers withstanding. It should be twice as easy with two people. But there were supposed to be more?
	“The other guy? I thought this was gonna be me, you and…” Pit began to count on his fingers as well, but stopped at three. “Lady Palutena, was someone else supposed to come with us?” He asked the sky, scratching his head. “Nnope~. Just us.” Palutena replied, checking and refreshing the Mission Signup page.
“You’re not a big dummy,” Pit reassured Benny with a vindicating. “This mission’s going to just be you and me With the wisdom of the Goddess of Light to guide us.” He gestured up to the sky. “Haha, you’re so funny.” He giggled at something Benny couldn’t hear.
	“…Um Pit, Benny’s terraqueous. He cannot hear me.” Palutena awkwardly clued him in. “Oh wait. That’s right, I forgot.” Pit slapped his forehead. “You’re Terriquick-Terraquack-Tarik-you’re a mortal. You can’t hear her.” He rubbed the back of his head embarrassed. “Oh! But luckily, there’s a hat for that!” He remembered with a snap of his fingers.
High in the sunset skies above Port Town, the clouds parted once again as a brilliant light shone down on the race track. Through this pillar of light descended a glowing object that would be gently caught by Pit. When their eyes adjusted, it was revealed to be a shiny golden lion's collar hovering in Pit's hands.
	“This’ll help you hear her.” Pit enthusiastically explained. “But first, I gotta activate it. Get down on one knee for a sec.” He instructed before clearing his throat. “Take this, Benedikt Gus Stephanos of Delineas. This is a Blessed Headpiece.” Pit announced with a suddenly manly booming voice. “Lady Palutena, Goddess of Light has imbued this helm with the sacred power to communicate with her.” He explained, relaying her message to him. “Wear it so that when the time comes for you, wherever you may be, you may hear her call.” He then lowered it to rest around Benny’s neck as if bestowing a crown. “Place it upon thyne shoulders so that by the power invested in me I may dub thee a Champion of Palutena!”* *Terms and conditions apply.

"Uuuuh... ya sure you're okay there, kid," the man said as the angel pointed towards the sky. Leonine eyes followed Pit's finger, searching for this supposed Palutena who was with them as a third person. Maybe she was flying? Or perhaps the person who took up the job was a little more than insane and made up imaginary friends. Benny did that once... when he was six years old. His gaze maneuvered back to his companion, scratching the back of his head, "Not sure what you're pointin' at there. And... tear... quack? I'm not a duck. I've heard ducks before, and I'm pretty sure I don't make that noise. Uh, or at least, not usually. Just do it for kids when I'm watchin' over 'em for a while." A chuckle escaped his throat again, a light blush visible underneath his fur.

Sudden light washed about the area, the lion blinking to regain his eyesight once again. Maybe this kid was a magician? The beastkin crouched, eyes narrowed to get a better look at the thing in Pit's hand, "That ain't a hat. I don't think. Maybe. Uh." He stood crouched, as though the cogs in his head began to release themselves from the stuck position and turn as they should. If this collar let him speak with another person he was unable to see, magic had to be at work here. Yeah, that was it, perhaps this Lady Palutena was far away still and provided less front and center assistance. Silly cat. Even if this collar was just a random accessory, who was he to refuse a gift?

At this point his crouch turned into a squat, tail drifting back and forth in the dirt. For the next, brief moment the angel was not required to strain his neck just to see the man's face. Wait, Pit said knee. Right, that was the more proper way to do the whole inheriting thing of some proportion. This required so little patience there was no room for complaining they were wasting time. If anything, this might just save their hides more ways than they can count. Once the collar was placed about his wide shoulders, Benedikt reached his fingers towards the jewelry and made sure it was snug and adjusted, "Surprised this ting actually fits me! Heh heh heh! So, how do I talk with your Lady Pal person with it?"

For now the lion remained on one knee, the position more comfortable to him as time went on.

“Simply relax, open your mind and heart and let the spirit purify~...” A voice telepathically graced Benny’s ears.
	“Testing, testing~ Congratulations on converting to Palutena's GuidanceTM for all your enlightenment needs. I am Palutena, Goddess of Light and it is my continued commitment to protect the heavens and the planet from peitistic threats.” Palutena formally introduced herself and her mission statement.
	“Rejoice, Benedikt, for today you have been deemed worthy to aid in the cause. You should especially rejoice considering the standard procedure involves overcoming intensive trials.” She noted with an audible smirk. “Most don't even finish the first level…” Pit sighed in simultaneous nostalgia and dread for the trials he had to endure to get his position.
	“From this point forward, I shall guide you and Pit on this mission to subdue the Immortal Phoenix,  Providing insight and strategy.” Palutena elaborated further. “The collar you wear is not only a way for you to hear me, but it is also a conduit through which I can divine your surroundings and focus my powers there. Using this, I shall be able to grant you temporary buffs to your modifiers, provide grind rails for ease of travel, and if you're good, dish out a little mid-mission snack to replenish your health.” “That the best part, hands down!” Pit licked his lips.
	“I can imagine that this is a lot to take in, so any questions before we move out, Benedikt?” She politely smiled in her voice.

Without so much as a gear shifting in his head, a woman's voice began to ring throughout the lion's mind. His face began to drop, eyes scanning the area in a frenzy, "Heeey Pit, kiddo? I'm hearin' something in my head! I don't like it that much!" The mountain of muscle stood up to gain a better vantage point as to who could be doing that. Pit seemed far too innocent and naive to be the culprit. Or maybe the lion placed way too much faith in a potential buddy and expected a fun filled mission. There was also the scenario where age had caught up far too soon and made his brain turn into mush. After all, the voice in his head continued on, explaining the situation better. In addition, a name was given as an introduction in the form of Palutena, the Goddess of Light.

Palu- oh, right. The lady his winged pal had mentioned a couple of times. His hand rubbed the back of his head, an innocent chuckle escaping his throat, "Ah, wait, the whole goddess ting. Forgot about that! Kinda ruins the moment that I don't get ta run through a trial for this, but maybe later we can do something like that!"

Half of what the goddess was saying ended up being more technical stuff, little of which made sense. "Wait, grindy rails? Modi-what now? You're not makin' much sen-," the man started, although the subject of a snack in between caused the feline's ears to perk up, "Snack? During a job? Ooo, I'm with Pit on that one! Really likin' these job benefits for once instead of just gettin' payed in Gil. Man, you sure got it good, Pit!" The man slouched over, hand over his well developed stomach as various ideas of food swirled about in his conscious mind. He never did eat the food created by a goddess before, nor did he ever know what the literal definition of tasting like heaven was in the end.

Instincts soon kicked in, however, as his nose twitched and garnered a newer scent in the air. Warm, and a slight tinge of burning wafted into his nose again. Unlike when he arrived, it was much fiercer, "Actually I do got a question for the both of yous." Eyes scanned the open air above, as a massive avian with flames dancing around its body soared past the grounded duo. The bird flapped its wings, the infection apparent on its body, maneuvering itself to soar closer towards the top of a leaning skyscraper before vanishing into the architecture's depths, "Is that the phoenix ting we're supposed to be fighting? Knew I smelled somethin' burning when I got here, but that's probably what's causing it."

If either angel or goddess noticed the building where Benny was pointing, there was a nice hole in the wall they can reach to enter the same building.

	Pit only smiled innocently, savoring the priceless look of a mortal’s face experiencing the grace of the Goddess of Light for the first time. It never gets old. “Oh a proper trial can certainly be arranged once this mission is over~.” Palutena smugly winked. “A few labours here and there, slay a monster or three, capture four more, you could be done as soon as 12 years!” She playfully counted on her fingers. “It may sound like a lot, because it is...” Pit advised Benny, rubbing the back of his head. “But just like Princess Peach’s cake, the hard work is worth it if not for the food alone!” He swooned with a watering mouth. “You haven’t lived till you’ve tried Lady Palutena’s cake, or her doughnuts, or her sushi and oh her hamburgers are to cry for!”
	Palutena couldn’t help but notice the similarities between Benny and Pit. Why was it that she kept finding birdbrains like that to do her bidding? This was sure going to be a long mission… But at least she knew how to handle them. “Was that it all along, Pit? Are you only with me for my cooking?” Palutena teased, feigning a sorrowful sniffle. “Huh-What? Oh no no no! I’m with you because…y-y’know… ...the good of the world?” A flustered Pit stuttered to answer, taking her game seriously. “-Good to know, Pit.~” Palutena accepted his answer with a satisfied smile.
	“You might wanna get back to that, because yes Benedikt, that is the Phoenix.” She got right back to business. “It’s perched within the depths of that sky scraper.” “Quick let’s fly in after it!” Pit shouted to action. “Nice try, Pit. But we already flew here.” Palutena shook her head. “So close…” Pit snapped his fingers, foiled again. “You’re going to have to go in and climb the building to reach it.” Palutena strategized. “Keep your wits about you, there’s a high chance of the Phoenix setting the place on fire while you’re inside.” She urgently warned. “Aw do we Have to?” Pit whined, not too keen on climbing stairs in a burning building. “I’ll have some cake waiting for you at the to-op~.” Palutena bargained in a sing-song tone. “Deal! Let’s go Benny!” Pit lead the way into the skyscraper.

The beastkin let out another chuckle as his listened to the banter between the angel and his goddess. He may not be able to see one of them, but these were good people at heart. Something about how they carried themselves just felt right. Granted, Benny did not have the capacity to comprehend even half of what these people were referencing, since last he checked peaches were food, but this was a time he remembered to just smile and nod. It was easier to let the smart people do the talking, after all. Pleasant thoughts, just like cake, and the mention of cake, "Ya know, cake sounds pretty dang tasty right about now. Not sure if the Life Sphere got anyone still makin' cakes, but-hey hey Hey HEY! Pit, where are you runnin' off to!"

Inside of the building, the tiled floor had lost its luster, as did the walls, railings, and other surfaces which denoted what used to be an entrance hall or a check in desk. The remnants of a business logo, covered in wild flora, near faded except for hints of this place revolving around the culinary practices. Whether the skyscraper used to be a school or a formal business was yet to be discovered. Regardless of the architecture's condition, all that was vital was the building's durability, which did not appear to be on the verge of collapsing in its entirety anytime soon. "Dang, kiddo. You run kinda fast at the mention of cake," Benny said, having caught up inside the building at last. The beastkin himself may have wanted to check his memory later, for he was far from innocent in the instances of food.

For the moment the interior was embodied with cool wisps of air. The lion went quiet for a moment, nostrils flexing as he sniffed the air, "Ya know, I don't smell any bird in here. Not sure why when that ting didn't have anyone to deal with. Wonder if there's somethin' else in here. Eh. I'll just give 'em a good whack and knock out whatever else decided to mess with us! Heh heh heh!" Scratching the back of his head, the man let out a wide yawn, its echo the same as a regular lion. If anything the Phoenix picked a wonderful place to settle if residency was this silent.

However, the silence was interrupted by hurried footsteps, its owners waddling about until their being revealed a familiar sight to Pit and Palutena: Skuttlers, albeit, those of the infected sort.

In precise terms, there were three in total, the Skuttler in the lead halting just in time for the other two to crash behind it. The creature turned around to berate its brethren, but as it raised its arm, the Skuttler rotated back to notice the lion and the angel. As did the other two. Screeching in joy, the creeps unsheathed their apparent equipment... over sized cooking spoons... and massive pot lids as shields. Right in formation, the trio begin their charge at their enemies.

"'Bout time somethin' shows up! Jeez, I thought I was lazy. Oh well, show me what ya got, kiddo," Benny said, the lion rearing his foot back and readying a combat stance. His grin grew wide, baring his rows of sharpened teeth, combat fueling his impulses.

	“That’s nothing. You should see him run for a Hotspring~!” Palutena giggled to Benny at Pit’s expense. “Hotspring? Where-I mean-speaking of cake, look!” Pit tried to steer attention off himself and onto the remnants of the interior. “I’d recognize these utensils anywhere. They used to cook things here!” Pit deduced proudly as if he had solved an entire mystery on his own. “From what little info I can gather, this building was used by many different intergalactic businesses at one time.” Palutena concurred, explaining with a sigh. “Sadly, it’s since been abandoned by them all.” “Maybe the Phoenix’s already abandoned it too?” Pit shrugged when Benny revealed he couldn’t smell it. “Don’t get too comfortable, Benedikt.” Palutena warned the yawning beastkin. “I sense you’ve got company Pit will recognize too.” “Skuttlers?!?” Pit gasped at the infected enemies. “What are they doing here?” Palutena asked equally surprised. “Getting in our way?” Pit suggested the obvious answer as he drew his bow and shot them.

	“No, I mean, who sent them?” Palutena rephrased her question. “…The Phoenix?” Pit guessed with little thought. “The Phoenix is not affiliated with the Underworld Army, remember?” Palutena reminded him. “Oh yeah…Aw man, does that mean Medusa’s been resurrected again?” Pit realized that fact with a facepalm. “Worse, apped. But she’s not the only suspect.” Palutena continued to calculate out loud. “This could just as likely be the work of Thanatos, or worse, Hades.” “Hades.” Pit grunted at the mention of his name. “Does it really matter who sent them?” “Knowing who sent them is crucial to figuring out why there here.” Palutena explained her motivation. “…So I should have asked questions before shooting?” Pit sheepishly reconsidered his actions. “Do you speak Skuttler~?” Palutena teased as the Skuttlers charged in to attack. “…Fluently!” Pit answered sarcastically, snapping his bow into twin blades and charging in.

"Yous guys know what they are? Heh heh, I tink they're easy enough fo-", the lion started, but the angel had already started his assault. A bow and arrow had been drawn, shooting once at each of the three Skuttler creatures. Quick as the shots were, one of their foes managed to hop out of the way of the arrow, but this did not halt the opportunity to rush in. Benedikt, however, had to take a moment to process what was going on, before his ears perked up and recognized combat had started. Of course, the man ran towards his opponents alongside Pit.

Having taken the advantage, the angel's melee attacks struck a Skuttler dead on, causing some nice damage.

Not wanting to be left behind in combat, the creatures were at least quicker than the lion. The Skuttler who was struck by Pit swung at the angel twice with a Spoon Strike. As for the other two, they went for the bigger target, taking the assumption Benedikt was going to be tougher to strike down. One of them attacked twice with a Spoon Strike as well, but the other set his pot lid shield on fire, and tried to strike the lion with a Potluck Attack.

With swift reactions from his arms, Benedikt managed to block the Spoon Strikes with his massive forearms, though his attention had been placed on one of the Skuttlers. The flame entrenched pot lid slams into the lion, who snarls upon impact. However, this was far from enough to take him down, although it did give him an idea. The brands on his inner forearms burst with magic, surrounding his arms which he brought inwards. Shifting his body, Benedikt threw a palm forward and shot a blaze of magic to surround Pit, "These guys tink fire's gonna do us in! Heh, let's make this harder for 'em. Barfire!"

(Benedikt cast Green Magic: Barfire on Pit. For 3 turns, Pit will take 8% less damage from Fire affiliated attacks, and is immune to the BURN status.)

The magic surged a crimson aura around the angel, with flickers of fire dancing about the warrior's form. But that Skuttler who used the fire pot was being a jerk. Turning back to his two foes, the lion swung three, wide punches towards Mr. Flame Lid.

With those strikes pummeling into the jerk, Benedikt attempts to grab the puny fighter and slam him into the ground.

A triumphant roar swelled within him, echoing throughout the otherwise empty room. His stance lowered, wide grin continuing to spread, his arms ready to pummel these weak fools into the dust.

Potluck Attack: This attack sets the Skuttler's pot lid on fire, and striking an opponent dealing 8% fire damage on impact.

(asnRU99sp_1d20+3 Pit's Dodge of Spoon Strike. Success!) (p_1d20+3 Pit's Dodge of Spoon Strike. Success!) Having taken down more Skuttlers in his time than angels this one has seen, Pit dodged its weapons with ease, catching them in a parry with his twin bow blades.
	“Hey, check it out! This one’s fighting with spoons!” Pit commented on how cutely quaint of a weapon choice. “Skuttler’s tend to be as resourceful and adaptable to their surroundings as Goombas.” Palutena commented. “What with all the funny hats they wear.” Focused more on his opponent’s weapons than the battle at hand, the easily distracted angel didn’t notice his teammate throwing a palm of magic at him until he realized he was covered in green flames.
	“What the-Ah! Help I’m on Fire!” Pit freaked out, franticly waving and patting himself down. “No you're not, Pit. --Well, you Are, but it’s okay!” Palutena quickly interjected, trying to calm him down. “That’s not normal fire: It’s Barfire.” “Barf fire? Ew Get It Off Me!” Pit paused briefly only to try wiping it off with a new disinterest. “No Pit, Bar-Fire. As in Green Magic. Unlike Black or White magic, Green Magic is more of a support style of spell meant to grant benefits to those cast upon. It’s kind of like the Powers I grant you.” Palutena spelled it out for him. “With this Green Magic, Barfire by name, fire elemental attacks used against you have their damage mitigated. You’re actually Fireproof now!”
	“Oh…Cool!” Pit stopped and looked at himself, newly impressed. Seeing Benedikt combo his Skuttlers and then hearing him roar reminded him of Incineroar. Pit wanted to give it a try. “rrRRROAAARRr!!!” Pit tried a roar of his own, taking a strong stance carrying fireballs in his hands. “That felt so cool! Much easier than reciting battle cries too!” Pit may continue starting fights this way from now on. Speaking of which, he had one to get back to.
Pit slipped off his bracelet revealing his own fire magic: a hot tattoo calmed a Palm with special powers imbued into it. The flavor of the day just happened to be fire.
